Keep it coming....only a fool would say stop. Much appreciated.
I wouldn't be overly concerned with the queen of England right now, this company has been set up to be run by its constituents and will likely do just that. The company is now in the high-octane hands of the attorneys, and should not need to hear from the board any further for quite some time should everything go according to plan. The last thing on anyone's mind right now is gridlock....it's litigation. I wouldn't over think this, rather be concerned with execution and monetization of patents to drive revenue (and SP).
"Yes, but when you look at them, you see that almost 12M of these shares are triggered only when the sp hits either $4.80 or $5.00, so very shareholder-friendly terms IMO..."
100% correct. This has been discussed in depth on here in the recent past. With all of the catalysts on the horizon this will not stay at current levels long. There are too many incentives for the big money holders to get the SP to $5 and keep it there. And keep in mind, they control an absurd number of shares which allows them to pretty much move this thing at will (in both directions).
Did you look at his comment history? Dude likes exclamation marks and the words "up" and "down"..... A lot.
Anyway, once this short position (sizable from the looks of it) clears out, all will be good in the hood once again. I'm not concerned. Annoyed? Yes
He has been very clear that he only bought it as a hedge to his tech investments
"On the other hand, someone is buying DSS at really cheap prices."
Guilty
Be calm. This has the fingerprints of a big money agenda trying to complete a transaction set in motion a while ago. Let this shake out (exactly what this appears to be, a shake out). Nothing has come out that is fundamentally negative, in fact the opposite. This will head north once this person/entity hits their goal, whatever that may be. All is just my opinion of course...but common sense says that because good news was released, this is a panic rush to close out some kind of short position.
Take advantage of the price and add...that's what I will be doing.
"Those who still have their stomach lining in tact through ups and downs will probably be rewarded very well"
No, but the scotch I use as a coping mechanism does the trick for a septic bowel.
I love the Sunday rants... Keep them coming. As for the catalysts to attain $5, I don't know. However, I do know that a win in monetizing IP can MORE than compensate the co to attain a minimum of $5 (See VHC at a multiple of their market cap). Anything operational on the retail side is just icing (IMO of course).
Post-merger.... The fun really begins. And one last thing.... I wouldn't discredit the potential for one more settlement, if not more. Don't forget, there is no precedent for FB in this situation. I know that of the three they are least likely as they are a large entity with the ability to fight to the bloody end, but we just don't know. One thing I have learned in IP is that NOBODY can predict anything... And anything truly is possible.
Let us all see where this quagmire leads.
Now I just need to see Surfer swing by with my confirmation bias chart and ill have a good weekend
Nice to see green
Well said and I agree on all accounts. The fun begins Monday. GLA
Christ.... Ok thanks.
Just passing through then :)
You mean VRNG acquisition of Microsoft doesn't make the top 4??? I get it, thanks
What exactly is the rumor right now?
I love the people there.... They are so down to earth and real

"all my strategies rely on pen to paper for this merger."
That's about it...
Oh God..... The land of fruits and nuts! Lol
Looking forward to the MM post....meanwhile I have to say that all issues up to this point don't constitute a reason to subjugate the merger process. I see this moving forward.
Cooler.... Please add this to your stickied comprehensive list
Well... Looks to be setting up a base around 2.46.
Lets see if this is verified by tomorrow's trading
Chart looks like a polygraph that broke in the first 10 minutes and flat lined
I liked PI's price better
You caught me. Yes, these are the thoughts that keep running through my head. I don't know what the big guys are thinking here, but I often find that it's not necessarily aligned with my own agenda. I would like to think that the moon is the target here, however I also know that shares can be traded in either direction....whichever makes the most money. So, when I reach a mental quagmire such as this I try to do what has served me best in the past...break it down to the simplest form. Yes, there are several factors right now holding SP down in the near term, BUT in the aggregate there are many catalysts on the horizon that can and should move this north. Markman (everyone is familiar with these run ups), existing settlements with fantastic 4 & 5% royalties which suggest a "proven" ability to monetize these patents, cash positive position for the first time come Q2, and as the short interest increases paired with the relatively low float and market cap...the ability to run run run on good news. All this is not to mention that with success we will likely broach more reputable, mainstream news coverage as the company hopefully exits relative obscurity into the spotlight...at least within the sector.
That being said, once pen is put to paper with this company I will sleep much better. My concern is on two fronts, as I like to believe they are with management as well. No dilution and management of the company so as not to upset the apple cart of listing requirements. I obviously believe that this company has the ability to execute moving forward and will continue to put my money on it.
Personally.... I liked the idea of them having motivation to get to 4.80 more. But that's a moot point now. Lets see where this takes us

I'm most interested in the effects of voter rejection for RS and its perceived effect (by the companies to be merged) on future SP and subsequent listing implications. I don't want to post my concerns publicly, but if you private message me you email address I will tell you my thoughts. I try not to post something until I know it's legitimate and not simply subjective.
"However they all have one thing in common, in the long term real news always trumps them and dictates where the stock will go.
Nothing has changed from a week ago, better volume will come and if you believe in the Lexington management and the Bascom patents, the worst thing you can do is let short term pressure put you out."
Well said. I ( and most I have spoken to) am well invested here with a sizable position and I am adding at these levels steadily. I'm very confident in the business plan and believe this will offer a nice ROI this year. Short term is entertaining, but not material for this company. Keep in mind, assuming no more settlements come, Markman is less than four months away. I'm encouraged.
I'm anxious to see these subjects put out for public consumption here so we can all try to vet the information and hopefully come to a somewhat educated conclusion. Everyone I have spoken to is at a loss as well. At this point I know only one thing for sure, that there are multiple catalysts here pushing SP down. Which ones? No clue. Could be all of them. Look forward to discussing Chas
I'll go along with that.... Sounds about as good as any explanation here. Dont forget that we are also approaching options expiration.... good reason to get SP below 2.50.
Fish fry sounds pretty fantastic. It's 2:40 here in South Florida and I decided to cancel the rest of my appointments and hop in the pool with a cold pop (my late fathers words for "beer") and my favorite wife in the world....
Have a good weekend Chas.
Likely MM and others pushing price below $2.50 for options expiration, combined with shorts looking to capitalize on uncertainty regarding shareholder vote to approve merger, while voting down RS as an option to maintain SP for listing. JMO however. July 1st should solidify this company in the market.
New order slowly filling. Adding more at these levels
This is not the big event. It is A big event, but it simply allows the real catalysts to finally apply here. Markman, settlements, new acquisitions, file of more IP suits, existing settlement numbers revealed on Q2 financials.... The list goes on. But the point is that these events are no longer a question mark...they are expected and will happen.

Confirmed? PR to come soon?
