TakeStock, if I were in the place of the CEO today, I might not know exactly what to say to the investors that would really satisfy them. I think that you'd be looking for some absolutes and if all I had was information about things that were soon to happen but had not happened yet, ...it would be my decision to not say anything until I had something firm that you (and the other investors) could sink your teeth into.
This CEO cannot control the emotions of people on this board and subsequently has no control over the wavering of the pps when there are lengthy periods between "good news" announcements. Having nothing to say to people who are all worked up amongst themselves is not necessarily a character flaw or a sign of lack-of-concern.
This is just my thinking on that.
Your points are well taken. I too noticed that Shorts considers that we're rubbing shoulders with a company that is a SCAM. That raised some concerns in me like it did you. But I don't have any information about what the precise nature of Short's concerns are and it is nevertheless not a risk to us until we find out that we are actually in bed with this other company and that they are indeed full of fleas.
I have quite a bit invested here and am tonight considering pouring in more, simply because the upside potential is huge. I invested over $40k in a company a couple of months ago that appears may not be able to lift off, as they are slowly dying. Due to the very professional and very effective bashers or due to some poor management decisions, ...I don't know. I'm not wealthy, so that hurts. But I'm a grownup and am looking for a winner to make me smile. Maybe it's SBMI.
GOLD. In the end it's about GOLD. It wasn't that long ago that we were all talking about bringing that magical mineral out of the river basin and onto the banks to watch it shinning in the sun. Now there is talk of all sorts of things completely unrelated to the main issue.
When the Gold in on the back of the river, there will be dancing. But the talk of this and that causes the investors and potential investors to waver and walk away, and the pps falls.
The price of Gold keeps looking better every day and we have people digging over there today in some of the richest GOLD country on the planet.
What actually happened at EOD was that the MMs had set the ask at 0002 at midday and after that, several bids came in from people wanting to buy at 0001. These were ignored because all MMs were posting 0002 on the ask. When a few minutes before the close, one MM dropped his ask to 0001 ...all of those purchases passed through (including mine).
Not one share traded in almost 3 hours. The real value today is not 0002, it's apparently still 0001 but the MMs are hoping for more.
While considering the information from Airys418, although it had a positive feeling, it lacked any specific reference to NEW developments. Then I realized that ...if the company is planning to buy-back shares, they CERTAINLY do NOT want to say things that will drive up the pps prior to acquiring the shares. Does that make sense to others here? So it may be a while before they drop the "Good News” which is brewing into a PR.
However, if this is their plan, then they do also certainly HAVE good news to offer and will present it when they're ready. (And we will indeed profit at that time.) It's another chapter in the game of patience.
Once upon a time I owned a software development firm and later owned another, which developed websites.
When dealing with software development, or more specifically with "programmers," one must not push them. They are by nature a creative type and don't do well under pressure of “deadlines.” In fact, when they tell you how long a project is going to take, most people just accept the answer, but when the proposed date arrives, it is nothing to a programmer-type to be completely unconcerned and completely engrossed in his work (which isn’t finished).
Remember how every single version of MS Windows runs months and months overdue? So do most other products from software firms. Websites are software modules, and in today's world they are incredibly complex modules.
Cost overruns and ignored deadlines are part of the nature of the software business. Keith will certainly not be able to effect the date that the website is finished. He can ask questions but he cannot change the speed of the output. That’s just how it works. If Bill cannot get his Microsoft team to meet their own deadlines (NEVER) …what chance does a common “customer” have of getting the product out on time??
Perhaps you don't understand horse owners.
I have spent a lot of time with horse people and around the stables, having owned several Thoroughbreds myself. Many of them spend a lot of time at the stables and fell more at home there than anyplace else. I also know of some stables that are much more luxurious than 99.9% of any home in America.
The possibility that a man would use his office at the stables to conduct business (all of his business) is not really that hard to understand. Although I do not really know the details of this man's personal or business habits, I do think that your fervent animosity here is a bit overboard.
Please try to use some common sense here. Not all people who control corporations or manage business operations do so from high-rise office buildings.
I bought a 12m block and it was filled almost instantly.
Gee Whizz, TakeStock, sounds like you needed a nap or something. Maybe the lawnmower wouldn't start yesterday. (??)
Nobody here knows?? Speak for yourself please. Anybody who wants to know and can read the existing facts can certainly discern the truth about David Rees. The man has a documented career history and documented goals in WRNW, which he is fulfilling. He is not a small-minded person nor is he a crook. He is not the type that builds a house of straw on sand.
I honor your reply with a thank you and the hope that WRNW lives up to our expectations.
A good day to you!!
You apparently have no idea what Lowman said.
Your analysis of the post is off-the-wall and absolutely wrong.
He said that someone could file a lawsuit, shake the tree, buy up the float and when the company succeeds (as they will) ...the profit to them is 2500% from this side of the scenario.
He's talking about an OUTSIDE BASHER-type doing all of this, …apart from WRNW.
I'm probably going to regret any attempt to correct you. It usually doesn’t work out well to attempt to correct something that may-well have been mis-stated on purpose, to mis-lead others.
Maxtiknik, What kind of a message is THAT??
First you say that if it doesn't work out to your expectation, "we" (who your friends are is not clear) should take them all down.
Then you say, "God Bless."
Very confusing. God does not "Bless" or condone vengeance or that sort of retaliation even if someone purposely harms you. There might be others who will join in your vendetta, if that's what you choose to do in the event that Adrenaline Nation doesn't perform as you hope. But when you act, know that God is not one of your partners.
And concerning Adrenaline Nation's performance, if they are having trouble in these recent days gathering their full support from sponsors and such, look to the bashers in the Adrenaline Bulletin Board as the focus of your vengeance. Not to the guys who have been diligently working to build the company, ...look toward those who have been diligently working to tear it down.
This is the opportunity of a lifetime for many here on this board. Many of them still don’t really understand what they have in their hands. It’s so amazing for me to watch this almost unbelievable mess created by one or two individuals, …and condoned by many more. There are people here willing to actually LISTEN to the continuous bashing of WRNW and it affects their belief in the company and the potential of their investment.
Frankie, don't jump to disheartening conclusions at this point. Remember that the companies chosen by this new CEO are chosen for their professional abilities and the moral character of their business practices. This is his stated objective and he has followed through in acquiring just that kind of partners. Does this "sound like" a common pinkie scam when you consider the quality of the ESTABLISHED and SUCCESSFUL companies that are coming aboard??
If you are an investor, you need to rethink what we KNOW to be true. The positive events and the overwhelming potential within this market create a picture that should cause a thoughtful and patient person to not be swayed by this type of nonsense. A lawsuit can be filed by anyone and often is filed without sufficient basis to even be heard, much less won. The filing of a lawsuit means nothing in the real world today, since so many are frivolous. Don’t let it affect your opinion today if yesterday’s opinion was that WRNW is on the path to success.
This is indeed the opportunity of a lifetime for many here on this board. Don’t let anyone steal it from you, especially if you need a break. This is it. Hang on tight.
THANK YOU. Intelligent response.
Dilution is a word thrown around by many because it does happen. But if WRNW is going to succeed in their current game plan of acquiring a group of already-successful, professionally trained and operated companies then they must be able to offer these companies a piece of the WRNW pie as incentive to join what is going to be a powerful player, and possibly even a monopoly (as Lowman has suggested twice) in the domestic well renewal industry.
The A/S must be high to afford WRNW that ability to offer shares to a prospective merger target. If these "target" companies have caught the vision of how successful WRNW is likely to become, ...why is it so hard for some on this board to get it??
There are other places to invest. If you don't like the looks of WRNW, then please, ...go away and leave us alone.
Not over?? I guarantee that I will not be selling a single share when WRNW is trading at $.10
This company is the REAL DEAL and will make some of the people on this board quite wealthy.
You said, "Smart money isn't buying these PRs" Well, the Smart investors have been buying this stock by the truckload, while the foolish traders whine about foolish things.
The ONLY important question to be answered in the presence of DERB, is do I own enough WRNW yet ?? Probably not, in my case. I want a few million more, but with $45k already invested, I'm NOT a rich guy, ...although I HOPE to be soon
:O)
The small ups or downs of the pps at this point are almost irrelevant. The issue is the finished product accompanied by consequential revenue dollars. I'm not a pumper of anything on earth, but simply a quiet, rational type with some experience in running a company.
I know that Keith is trying to ignore the comments of this board as much as possible, in order to continue the work at hand. Trying to answer the foolishness and disappointment of others is not productive at this point. The thing that will produce change is results, ...and those are being created daily.
Flannery may have lied but that's not easy to prove. He can issue a statement on Monday and "change his mind" on Thursday, ...and it's perfectly legal. Men do it all the time. In this case it seems to apparently follow a pattern but that might not constitute a crime either.
He is a hatchet man. No doubt about it. When you see his name appear, you know that he's been hired because he promised the corporate management that he could greatly enhance their financial position. He most certainly warned them that there would be a backlash of opinion, ...but then the world is full of "new" investors. (That's about how he would present the plan to them.)
Complaints can be posted to the appropriate officials.
I'm in agreement with Matt24d and am of the mindset that ADNN has real potential, not imaginary or simply wishful thinking. I have had the privilege of some personal communication with Keith Dressel and I can sympathize with his situation, having been in the belly of corporate America myself for 40 years.
The bashing that occurs on this board does affect the momentum of the corporate energy itself. That's the hope and the ambition of some who live-to-bash.
How terrible it must be to have NO LIFE, as a couple of those whom we watch on this board. The events of ADNN seem to be their reason to get up in the morning and they claim to not even own any shares. How pitiful is that??
This is exciting to watch because something is GOING to happen here. The company has a real product and is fighting like a real company should.
Don't pay attention to a single word from that poster. Everything written by that one is either deceptive or false. This time it happens to be both.
In-Systcom lost the attention and support of investors recently but the company has never given up the fight for their rightful place in the hotel and cruiseline industry. Unlike some Pink corporations that are nothing more than a piece of paper in a desk drawer, In-Systcom has a meaningful product. In addition to Mr. Bill's posted article, they have also been considering other applications for their product. This current activity may become a lot more than just a ripple in the water.
Something is happening out of the blue at In-Systcom (ISYX) like a volcano that has a sudden rumbling earthquake from activity deep below the surface, ...
Something is happening. The company was ignored by investors due to some setbacks, but they were never down for the count. They're fighting back and maybe somebody close to the company knows something is about to happen.
Agreed. I just think that at this point, several days later, we're able to adjust to the surprise and understand that we imposed that upon ourselves. Me included. The adjustment for me took a few hours but when it came, I was not at all disappointed in what was said, because I believe that the management has carefully thought this through and has a much better view of the game and of their strengths than I do.
I owned several million shares before the letter to the shareholders and wouldn't sell one of them if the pps was at .02 or at .000? rather than it's present .00? My account balance looks TERRIBLE today, but that's temporary, I'm sure.
This company has much greater potential than most people want to openly dream about. That will all become apparent in time.
Why blame Rees for "that blindsiding whack" when the only reason that it felt that way was that your expectation was other than the direction the corporation had decided to take? Was it the right decision/direction or the wrong direction? I think it would be impossible for us to say that today. But the people who are at the core of building of this company (and there are a lot of them now) feel good about what's happening. Even if it were for that reason alone, I think that we should too.
SURE, and then you don't end up a twisted psychotic!!
Put it aside, write it off mentally if you must, and then the ups and downs associated with making something out of nothing, and the "wait" will not affect you as it has obviously done to some pitiful souls.
The chances are still very good that Adrenaline will get it's shot at taking a meaningful position in the "Entertainment" industry, regardless of the ranting of some who have only bitterness driving them.
You said, "But, finally, again, let's not forget that we're part owners of this company and we have a duty or a right to ask tough questions and adopt a somewhat "oversight" status as owners."
Please allow me to respectfully make a couple of comments.
Collectively, stockholders need to understand that while top management does want the individual investors to have updates on the progress of the company and upon the important issues, ...the general operation of running a company takes the full-time attention of a CEO. If 10 separate phone calls from shareholders to the CEO or other key management officials were allowed in a day, and those shareholders were for the most part uninformed, or worse, ill-informed, what else would these poor men accomplish during that day (?) ...other than telling the story several times while trying to AVOID saying the things that have not been allowed for public distribution as yet??
Then after having sacrificed his time to cater to a shareholder, that shareholder may now feel more emboldened to call again and again. I feel that the CEOs, who allow their phone to ring with shareholders calling in, are probably the ones who had nothing really going on anyway and are only there to pump up the shareholders. And that’s not what I’m looking for in my investment portfolio. ( !! )
Shareholder meetings are "scheduled" events. It is incredibly arrogant for a person to invest a few hundred or a few thousand dollars into a corporation and then expect to have direct access to management and a voice in the daily operation. That's just not how successful corporations operate.
I disagree with the statement that the price of oil will not effect this business. As oil prices increase, more and more dormant wells will become valuable assets that need to be "Renewed."
Now THAT'S what I'm talking about !!
Everyone is "waiting" ...should be a lot of news in a month but not too much before then.
This was a matter of perception. Most people did not "expect" the direction that this company has assumed and were thus taken by surprise. And a lot of people HATE surprises.
This has been a well-thought-out decision by the CEO and confirmed by the Board of Directors and will develop into a strong company with tremendous value as the summer months pass.
They are not throwing away assets, they are restructuring them.
WRNW is apparently getting out of the oil and gas (production) business to focus upon "Well Renewal."
That was not very popular today among many readers. People want to think, Oil, Oil, Oil coming out of the ground. Although the higher oil prices will make the rejuvenation of dormant wells more feasible and there will be a huge number of them (thousands) that will apply for renewal. Apparently this management team has decided that the real money for them is in the renewal of wells. Lots of wells -- soon.
A solid business model is being formed to capture a huge emerging market.
What's wrong with that???
The atmosphere of DRAMA is thick.
InvestorsHub is a valuable asset but I can hardly stand to click the link to WRNW anymore. There are now two horrible people purposely polluting EVERYTHING and will NOT ALLOW intelligent conversation. Their repetitious trash is interjected into every meaningful conversation that occurs.
I have NO RESPECT WHATSOEVER for whoever it is at the highest level that has the authority to throw these troublemakers out, …but refuses to do so.
Maybe I'm more at risk of being deleted or restricted than they are for making such a statement as this.
Bottomfeeders thrive on the refuse of other fish.
