As long as you believe that I am happy. To me it requires knowing a bit more about TelVue. You didn't mention 55,000 shares in the float and a company that makes money and has a world class customer list. If none of these things are important then so be it.
I suggest you check a bit deeper. There is no question that bids have been passed over and the share price has been manipulated and each and every transaction has been recorded and each and every move has screen shots so before you say no you may wish to check.
The last 100 shares were transacted at $30.00 and the price was brought down with 10 shares. That's OK. I'm not complaining. Bring it down. Bring it down. Bring it down some more after that.
Lower prices are cheap prices. There will be no fire sale here . Those who drive this price up will come later.

Anyone who knows the way things work will be happy to tell you there are many more bids than you can see. Just because they are under 100 makes them invisible and I know for a fact and there are others here who know and we are talking facts and no guessing that those bids are out there.
Having said that it does not matter what anyone has to say about this stock. There will be no fire sale here. The company will continue to made a profit and will pay a dividend.

I suspect we will wait and see who is smarter. With the DOW about ready to take the biggest dive in history just maybe TelVue may be a good place for your money. I'm sure it won't be all that long before one of us is right.

TelVue was not as good as it is right now in the beginning. Things are looking really great right now. I'm sorry you don't see it but I usually buy when I want and I'm starting to want.
My bids are out there. I can't help it if people are not selling right now.
Every time Comcast and Verizon are all over the news the talk of dividends has a tendency to increase. Charter was in there this morning. It seems the entertainment industry and streaming are all the news today.

People who own shares of TelVue know they have world class customers like Comcast and Verizon along with 5000 PEG Channels across the country. Shareholders know they make money each quarter and are financially in a position to pay a dividend if they wish. Each quarter will be better from here as TelVue does it's thing and becomes stronger.
People who own TelVue will not be selling in the near future. We will wait for our price.

Very difficult for me to understand why anyone would say that about a company that
Has world class customers.
Makes money every quarter
Has a tax write off of 39 million before taxes.
Only has 55,000 in the float.
Has investors who refuse to sell at these prices.
Continues to add to the profit making with new products.
Over the top boxes
It looks like a great company to me.

Gerry Lenfest paid $70.00 for shares of TelVue. It is common knowledge. It was reported to the SEC. I'm not going to look it up for you so there it is. Gerry paid $70.00.
There are no preferred dividends being paid.
I think it may be you who has failed to get the message. I told you Gerry Lenfest already set the price with his actions. You say that's silly . I say he did it. Gerry Lenfest paid $70.00 for shares of TelVue
Talk of $70.00 may be silly to you but it was not silly to Gerry when he did it. I said Gerry Lenfest paid $70.00 for TelVue stock when the company was not making money and reported it to the SEC at the time. If that's silly to you I'm sorry. It happened.
What I said was Gerry paid $70.00 for shares. He did that when the company was not making money. Now that TelVue is making money I wonder what the price would be.
You seem to have a way of not believing what I say. Perhaps if you checked some of the files there were made to the SEC.
This is public knowledge. It's right there for anyone who wishes to look.
He has already traded some shares at $70.00. I will admit that to me $70.00 is a ridiculously cheap price but to many here they might like Gerry taking it private at $70.00.
I for one think I will hold out for a bit.

$70.00 IS CHEAP BUT WHAT THE HECK
Perhaps I can explain why that person paid $14.00 for those shares and why people will continue to do so.
TelVue is a software and hardware company. Much of the hardware is in need of replacing and their customers are aware. Revenue from this hardware continues but the real goody is the software.
Software is the gift that keeps on giving. As companies continue to upgrade and add new functions the software revenue continues to increase. It will not be very long before dividends are in order. With the advent of the new channel-in-a-box there will continue to be more.

I'm sorry but you seem to be mistaken about that. There were 2700 sold at $14.00. How much do you think it would cost you if you were suddenly required to buy 2700 shares ??

I'll let you tell us. I'd like to keep the talk here about TelVue.
I see they are marketing their new channel-in a box and I can't wait to see what's next. That move is a whole new beginning here. There will be a whole world of customers for that one.
With only 55,000 in the float and them making money I see a very bright future.
What does he do. Call the guy on the phone and make a deal. A buyer of TelVue or any other shares buys from the market maker even if the market maker does not happen to have any shares at
that time.
Buys go thru a market maker and that's that. People do not buy short shares.
I will agree that one of us does not know how shorting works.
The person who opens a short account with a broker is saying he feels the market price will go down. If and when the market price goes down he buys back shares he owes at the lower price and pockets the difference. That's how shorts are paid.
You don't buy shares from someone who is short. You buy shares from a market maker. He sells you shares. Not someone.
There are 55,000 shares in the float at TelVue. There can legally be 55,000 shares short but the short account does not vote. Only the shares in a long account vote.
Those who are short don't own shares. They own markers and promise to buy those shares back later at market. That's why it can sometimes be costly to short.
People do not buy shorted shares. They buy shares. Those who are short keep the number of shares in their account. They show up if they are forced to cover. The shorter must cover and buy back shares at market. That's when they show up.
You are exactly right. Just as I have been able to track and record with screen shots for the past 15 years. When people sell shares they do not own sooner or later they must cover. I have been her a very long time. I was able for years to watch and wait. Many have waited and many will be rewarded.
This company will continue to grow and continue to make a profit. With 55,000 shares in the float a dividend will come and when it does we will talk. We will see what stock is illiquid.

THEY ARE WORTH MUCH MORE THAN YOU THINK
Short accounts do not vote. They do not show up at meetings. The numbers do not show up in any public accounts. But you already knew that.
No interest here at present is about right. The MM is a computer now but will not be forever. There are only 55,000 shares in the float and when we start trading 150,000 in a day the MM won't be a computer and there will be lots of interest.
HOLD EVERY SHARE YOU CAN GET A HOLD OF
TelVue's business is for the most part computerized. The computers churn and at the end of the month in comes the money. With the advent of the new set-top-boxes this will mean more revenue. We will see when TelVue pays a dividend.
Not if they will but when.
Everything is speculation on this board. You speculate that everything will be bad for this company and I do not. This company is making money. They will continue to do so. Eventually they will pay a dividend. Those who hold this stock will be rewarded.

Please tell me how that is different than what I said. Is it more precise ??
