Where do you get "50 bottles" from? 20 Walmarts would need much more than that. A single display would need a few hundred.
National with Walmart would be a large deal, and the pilot is phase 1 of that large deal. No one knew about this, just like we won't know the results until Tony is ready to tell us.
And (I'm sure I'll be challenged on this one...lol) I don't think Tony has said he was going to do something (i.e. cancel shares, St. Loius deal, new website) and not come through, at least eventually. This means that Japan is something that will actually happen!
What makes this different than other OTC garbage is that Tony seems to be focused on the product rather than the stock price. If Tony cared about pumping, there would be constant Newswires with promises that never come true. Instead, we see a product that has tripled distribution in a year with a relatively quiet CEO.
No one in this chat posted about WalMart until after product was on the shelves. That to me would qualify as a "large deal" because it is a pilot test for national distribution. For all we know, WalMart could have required APRU to have the ability to supply nationally if the pilot was a success.
I respectfully disagree. If WalMart or 7-11 signs a large deal, APRU has to be able to fill orders. A recent build up of inventory could back up the theory that such a deal has just been made.
Right... stockpiling inventory would indicate that they have plans for it, so that's a positive.
The big loss here is from the "Stock for services". If I'm reading correctly, those are mostly Lenoard Marshall and KG Studios.
It all looks like a healthy, growing company to me!
Yes, exactly! If more people knew about the product, I could easily see it being one of the top drinks in the market.
I definitely am encouraged by the improvements in day to day operations. I emailed Sarah this morning to let her know about Apple Rush not being on the shelves at the Lucky's in Sarasota. It actually had me concerned.
So she called up the store manager who let her know that they had it fully stocked 4 days ago and that they would look into it, then she got Apple Rush's "territory manager" involved.
Sarah just reached out to let me know that she heard back from the manager saying that shelves were now full, and I can go get my drinks.
It just shows me that they are on top of it, and are immediately responding to any issues in the stores. It's also good when we report things like this, so it draws attention to the fact that there is real demand.
It's definitely exciting for Apple Rush to be the sponsor, but looking at the ticket sales, they've only allocated 420 tickets starting at $299.

Looking deeper on their site
" These are not concert events, but rather adventures built to satisfy the fans! "
So really, it doesn't seem to be a huge event with massive exposure, but it will be exposed to some people with big pockets, so still good.
Wow... that's crazy.
I wonder if you have enough information to report this?

I mean I totally understand but uh... for the rest of the people out there, can you explain who these "MMs" are and why do they do it? Are these just day traders looking to shake down the price and scare people, only to buy a larger amount at a lower price?
The new logo is on their site too.

You're probably right, but let's hope that you're wrong. :)
100% correct! So many things happening, that I think this stock is significantly undervalued.
Investing is not just based on current performance, but in anticipation of future growth. This company has nothing but future growth in front of it. It would just take a single national exposure event for this to start trading at .50 or even $1. The Busch family could deliver this exposure, but distribution has to build up to it or it could fail. Tony holding back information or media exposure may be a good thing for the time being.
I think we're all very lucky to be in where we are right now. I could be wrong though but just seems like this is one of those rare ones.
hahahaha, same here! I feel like an idiot loading up with bottles, so glad I'm not the only one. Now I just call ahead to the grocer, and they're ready for me with a few cases. Then I just shell out $150 while the cashier always comments, "wow, those must be good" lol
My Lucky's Market in Sarasota expanded Apple Rush recently and is now carrying 4 packs, so you may get better offerings soon.
WalMart and grocery are probably the best places for this product. If you're like me and you drink it daily, you buy in bulk instead of just one here or there. The problem is that people are unaware of the brand and how great it is. Hopefully, this is what Tony will make progress on shortly.
I could be wrong but I would think it means they have 23% of the shares, right?
"Institution Shares Shares % Last
Held Changed Held Report
Aviance Capital Management LLC 23 23 0.000 03/31"
Looks like they may have offices close to me. I'm almost as impressed by their "gone fishing" website as I am with APRU's current site!! lol
Really thought this would be exploding today, but still mostly trading very nicely. Getting into Walmart is better than even the most optimistic of us ever expected.
MULTIPLE Walmart stores!
"This is a pilot program in select Walmart stores and we will announce which stores are carrying Apple Rush as it gets put on the shelves."
Well... now it's making sense why this exploded last month. I'm guessing someone knew about this and loaded up. If this ends up in Walmart nationally, what price would you expect? I'm thinking it would be dollars and not cents.
Right... Walmarts aren't individually owned, so this would have to have gone through corp. It does look like Walmart says on their site that product suppliers can be local businesses with a few employees. Either way, this is HUGE unexpected news!
It's like the Shark Tank. The Busch's should be paid for their involvement in the company, and it also means that they benefit greatly if this is a success.
This may be mirroring last year, where we saw a small dip before another blast-off.
I went and bought 56 bottles at the Sarasota Lucky's tonight (15% off Father's Day weekend coupon!) I was encouraged that they are now stocking it in two locations in the store, and the 4 packs are available. They were previously only selling cold singles, so it does appear that my local Lucky's is growing Apple Rush's presence.
I think the St. Louis locations just may need more time, and hoping the rebranding will give the awareness that this needs. I would have never thought I'd be going out of my way to buy this stuff, but here I am buying in bulk... it has nothing to do with my being an investor.
No, it's been 5.2 Billion for a while now, so this isn't something that just changed. I actually can't remember it ever showing 20 B.
That's the real mystery. All we know is that they were transitioning to a "Lifestyle Brand".
"The new brand is set to launch in July 2019 with branded content being produced and distributed this fall. "
Now it all makes sense for the delay in the website. I still would have preferred to see the old site stay online, but this does make me feel somewhat better about it.
Sorry, that was from their Facebook account 45 min ago. Kind of weird with no additional information, but seems like it could be promising.
"Apple Rush taps Contend and KG Studios to overhaul brand and launch new media properties"
I wonder if it's how purchases orders were structured? It would make sense if someone like Schnucks bought a few large batches, but it's hard to explain. Cans were made too, and looks like they moved to Ohio. I don't like Q1 sales either way, but may need to wait till Q2 to see an actual baseline.
Ronnda said herself that it was for personal reasons, and it was a very valid and honorable reason. She still believes in Apple Rush, and wants to see it continue to grow from her efforts, so I'm not sure where you're getting your information from.
I really thought Q1 fins would be out by now. I'm guessing the 15th?
I wrote to Publix asking them to carry Apple Rush. I would buy it by the case, and probably be cheaper than Lucky's at $2.49 a piece. I also asked Lucky's to sell by the case at a volume discount, but haven't heard back.
Their response was generic, but at least has been put in front of someone at the corporate level.

Yeah, it's all great stuff! I don't know how to read this and the financials, and come up with "this ship is sinking". This is an undervalued company.

School districts!
So Ronnda resigned after all.
It's funny that you say that, because I do have some specific first hand knowledge of an issue. She may have been over worked, but if that was the case, why would he have not gotten her help, or fired the help that was not helping? I agree that she seemed great, but it doesn't make sense for him to drop a rockstar sales rep without a really good reason. Right? Good luck moving on, and honestly I do hope the best for her.
I think we have to keep in mind that this was more than likely a very difficult termination for him, and there would have needed to be something pretty severe. (i.e. not able to handle something critical, ignoring calls/emails from stores, etc.) Don't get me wrong, she seems great from her social media (other than grammar), but obviously there is more to the story.
Sorry Grillin26, I just re-read your post and totally didn't mean to pile on. I think I glanced at it reading through all the negatives, so was responding to the negative. I've researched before and know she worked for Rowdy Brands at one point according to their FB site, but no idea what the status is of that right now. She seems insanely busy right now, so I'm doubtful she is doing much with Rowdy Brands anymore.
Right? It's ridiculous. I have a shirt on right now that has ... an American Eagle logo on it! Weet Weet Weet Weet Weet!!!
I'm tired of all of the active demotion campaigns going on. None of us understand why a real APRU investor would demote this and other stocks daily. If you don't like the investment, sell and move on, right? I know every stock I've hated, I've sold them and completely stopped thinking about them. Well except WRFX. I hate that stock, but I don't spend any time bashing, and I'd get like $3 if I sold at this point. That company has no live products, and constant excuses for it. Compare that to Apple Rush, which I have 2 full cases of, in my house, I drink it daily because I enjoy it, bought it from two different vendors, is currently in 10 states, has a 57% increase in profits over the past year, has new business daily, has been hiring new employees like crazy, etc., etc., etc.
You can actually buy it by the case (24 bottles) at Lucky's if you ask to speak to their grocer, but I didn't get a discount like what I'm seeing on the northern retailers (2 for $4). It's still cheaper than Amazon at $29.99 per 12 pack, but still... last night I spent like $120 for 48 bottles. The cashier was like... wow, it must be good! I love the drink, but yeah... that's kind of painful. I think I may reach out to them at the corp level to see if they can do better in bulk. I get migraines from both soda and beer, so this is about the only drink that's safe for me.
Trying to interpret what this means, but I'm thinking this is the letter to remove the DTC chill. What do you guys think?

Which brings us back to the fundamentals of what we're looking at here. We have a rapidly growing product that is carried by 3 AB distributors, and still costs less than a penny! It's strange that we saw a worth of .06 last year on news that is less than our reality today, so there is still great potential.
