I guess we wait until 2021. I just hope that 12 months from now, we are not saying, I guess we wait until 2022.
Two of the main reasons I bought so much was James Allison and Baker Brothers. Oh Well ...
Thank You, what I am trying to figure out is this, are they building out because they know positive Multi-TAA news that we don't ... or ... is it just simply to avoid the screw up in the manufacturing process that led to the FDA hold.
I just hope it's the first half of the sentence.
Did anybody ever say ... what EXACTLY they are doing the buildout of the facility for? Is it multi taa for pancreactic? or leukemia? or something else?
I mean seriously, we know that they are not doing it on "hope", because no one with a brain would build out massive based on "hope". So they MUST know WHY (for what disease or indication or specific treatment) they are preparing.
Does any one know? Why can't they just say?
Alex Trebek has died at the age of 80 on Sunday, Nov. 8.
I'd even leave off the last point in your post concerning their paychecks. MY question is, exactly what you said: "do they or do they not have faith in the company".
But that's the ridiculous part of the whole deal.
5,000 shares = $7,000.
Crap, for the money they are making 50,000 shares = $70,000. What's that $7,000 each?
Again, Crap, they could easily, without blinking an eye put in $70,000 EACH and not even miss it.
They could combined buy 500,000 easy if they wanted to.
Is the problem that they DON'T believe????
Yes, that's another good point. Where are the inside buyers at fire sale prices?
I feel for you bud as we're both in similar positions.
Market cap is sickening.
I don't understand why some big pharma has not bought us just based on the crazy low price versus potential alone.
So, I guess it's just "wait and hope".
I wouldn't really call it fair value, it's more the reality of what currently people are willing to own it for.
I think any particular stock is almost always Never valued fairly, with MRKR as an example.
If MRKR tech turns out to be a total bust, then $1.39 is still way overvalued by about $1.38.
If MRKR can do what they say they can do, then it is undervalued by a multiple of 10 to 20 at least.
I know it is just what Phantom says, which is basically just deal with the crazy low share price for now because we can't change it and it won't change until our good news comes out and we can't force the good news any sooner and yes I get it, but it still just sucks in the right now.
Oh, this is just great. Never ever imagined we could see $1.
They announced this last week. It's "red wave berrylicious".
Thank You, The article on smallpox is from 2010, so I'm guessing it's either the stealth mode thing (which would be a nice surprise) or .... that research ended and the article writer just did a search on "smallpox vaccine makers", saw the old Marker article, and didn't bother to check to see if they were STILL working on a smallpox vaccine????
Thanks for the link, I just read it too. I would like to know if this is correct or the writers mistake.
Thanks for all the info. I only hope that they DO have valid reasons for the $ spent as we don't have unlimited amounts before another dilution is needed.
Plenty of room, I know, this is just getting real old.
Well, I've been reading everybody's posts and I thank all for contributing and for their opinions.
After reading them all, I have to admit, I do not feel much better about this crummy situation.
The only little and illogical hope that I still do have revolves around my question of WHY would they build out a structure that is 4 or 5 times bigger than it would appear that they need.
So, either it is good news and they know something they are not telling us ... or, it is just more bad news being built out based on nothing or just hope.
P.S. if this doesn't work out in the long run, somebody remind me, next time, NOT to try to catch a falling knife ... over and over and over again.
Howdy, you said "Tens of billions of dollars are at stake and many big pharma companies will lose if MRKR succeeds".
That is true and I have thought of the conspiracy bit myself, but at this point, if "they" wanted MRKR tech out of their way, with our pitiful small market cap, wouldn't they just buy the company and then sit on it and do nothing with it.
I'm right there with you, all I can think to do is just hold them because I just can't sell at this big of a loss.
Hope there's good news somewhere on the horizon.
Good Luck to all holders.
Somebody call "Life Alert" because "we've fallen and we can't get up".
I think we are DOA until any good development. No one has any reason to buy and invest here.
"The study is currently subject to a partial clinical hold on the use of a new reagent in the manufacturing process until the FDA reviews and accepts the final data and certificates of analysis for the new reagent. The alternate supplier has been delayed in providing the reagent but expects to ship the reagent to Marker in Q3."
WHAT TOTAL B.S.
Been talking about the Phase 2 AML trial for a year now ... and it is still .... just WAIT some more.
Nothing for nothing but for those who believe this building will be up and running and is meaningful ... you can buy the MRKR Feb 19 2021 $7.50 Call options for like 10 cents each.
You pay a nothing 10 or 20 cents for each of 100 contracts, and then,
hopefully sell them in early February for $1 or $2 or $3?
And of course, if you currently own shares and want to hold on to them ... but you also think that it will not go up to close to $7.50 by Feb. 19, you can collect some free money in your pocket and SELL the MRKR Feb 19 2021 $7.50 Call options for 10 or 20 or whatever cents each.
I'm guessing that they are not doing this building for nothing, so I'm buying them, and I will have till February to wait for more and more news to come out concerning this building and their FDA trials.
I really don't understand the anti vaccine logic. I do understand that in the past, vaccines included a very small dose of the danger they were attempting to cure so that the body could build up an immunity, but nothing is perfect, and I'm sure some may have gotten sick from a vaccine, but when you consider the overwhelmingly vast positives versus the small minimum negatives, if a vaccine can help save me 99.something % of the time, I'm taking it.
And now with modern vaccines like Moderna Covid, there is no part of the virus at all in it, so vaccines like that couldn't give you Covid if it wanted to.
But I am still leery about the genetic manipulation aspect, seems to exacerbate the cytokine storm problem.
But, I'm not a Doctor so what the hell do I know.
Yeah, sometimes it takes a bit longer than I would want, but good companies with good science rise to the top eventually.
Yeah, I'm sure he is on it. Just like he was on it making sure he had the proper certificate of analysis for the reagaents, and like he was on it about info being leaked prior to an ASCO meeting, and like he was on it when Baylor wanted to present data they weren't allowed to present.
Just like he is on it about cashing his weekly paycheck .... OH WAIT .... THAT ONE he probably IS up on.
I would join you and say LOL, but it is all too sad for me.
Good Luck to you and all of us.
That was funny, and believe me, I need a good laugh when I am visiting the MRKR board.
Thanks
This is what drives me crazy about this company. They say factory operational, but don't say what for. The drug cost will be $50,000, but don't say what drug and for what.
Geez, they act like the less information, the better.
What therapy did MRKR price? and for what indication/disease AML, Pancreatic, Breast? I must have missed that.
Thanks to all ... and good luck to all
Thank you, my 8ball said I may be keeping the subaru for a while longer.
Thanks
Final question: Is MRKR share price going to go up enough to let me buy my Ferrari before I am too old, aged and decrepit to drive it??
On yet another note, Handbag wrote "Marker is working on a Therapeutic, not a vaccine."
What is TPIV100? Website says:
Neoadjuvant Multi-epitope HER2 Peptide Vaccine. The vaccine consists of 4 peptide epitopes (15-18 amino acids in length) derived from the HER2 protein.
What is TPIV200? Website says:
TPIV200 is a T cell vaccine that consists of five naturally processed peptide antigens derived from the highly prevalent tumor cell surface molecule, Folate Receptor Alpha (FRa).
Is Marker using the word "vaccine" incorrectly?
I believe that the MultiTAA for Pancreatic and etc. is a "therapeutic".
Is TPIV100 and TPIV200 a therapeutic or a vaccine???
On another note. I never liked it when a biotech company leaves up on it's website pipeline page a clinical trail that has failed or been discontinued.
It seems very deceiving in an intentional bait and switch sense.
A newcomer who goes to a website to see what FDA trials a company is conducting EXPECTS that a trial that they see listed is an ACTUAL ongoing trial.
So when is Marker going to take down the TPIV200 Ovarian cancer trial that was discontinued in 2019?
So the new Texas facility will be done by end of year and operational in early 2021.
Operational for what? AML? Pancreatic? Breast cancer?
Does anybody know?
If they say "operational in early 2021", they must know for what.
grab shares in the morning while you have a chance to.
Insiders BUYING - They already know Phase 3 results will be great - just waiting to do a press release.
