Really? What’s your source?
If one GRAS was enough for all, then why did three separate hemp seed companies feel the need to achieve GRAS? Whoever is making this claim that one GRAS for CBD will apply to all CBD is clueless.
Well written. I agree that probably every CBD firm will eventually have to achieve GRAS self-affirmation for their unique formulas. The FDA appears serious about GRAS since they mentioned it on Dec 20th in their statement in reference to hemp seed firms. For now, GRAS and the seal from the Hemp Authority should give CVSI a competitive advantage. Maybe our patent will be finalized by the time our competition catches up, thus providing another competitive advantage.
I couldn’t agree more, but none of that was specified by Gottlieb yesterday. We’ll need to wait for the April public meeting for more clarification. In the meantime, it’s safe to say that the boogeymen have no intention to shut down CVSI operations. We’re in the clear since Gottlieb stated that he wants to recognize Congress’ intention to allow pathways for CBD’s use in food/dietary-supplements while preserving the big pharma opportunity. It appears that Gottlieb is willing to compromise, and nothing he said yesterday suggested otherwise.
CVSI uses full spectrum hemp extract with low-dose CBD. —Exactly the stuff that Gottlieb wants to pave a pathway for while leaving high-dose CBD isolate in big pharma’s hands.

Oh yes. Bright future for CVSI indeed after that FDA response.
Scott Gottlieb made it perfectly clear today that his idea of a good framework is creating CBD thresholds to separate CBD between food products and pharmaceutical products. He wants to honor Congress' wishes to have legal food/dietary-supplement pathways for CBD while also continuing to pursue pharmaceutical uses for higher doses of pure CBD. Check out my other link to see everything he said. I am much more optimistic as a result of everything I heard. In fact, I am about 95% satisfied with the FDA's response, and I believe that enough information can be extracted from Gottlieb's words for anyone to feel optimistic right now about CVSI's future.

I’ve never seen anyone beat a dead horse so thoroughly.
I had the same dream last week. My dreams have a history of coming true.
Newsflash: Mona Jr retired. I mean, I’m mad about Bill Clinton’s impeachment too, but he’s not the president anymore. Get over it.
The president of the USA’s business went bankrupt several times. Do you think that stopped him from becoming president? I think your problem is that you over analyze. When we get uplisted, I’m sure everyone will agree that you will be discredited forever on these forums.
Because you know for sure right? Who's your insider?
Please stick to relevant information. Mona Jr is no longer with the company.
It's an outrage that CBD from hemp has absolutely NO PSYCHOACTIVE EFFECTS associated with it, yet federal and state authorities still try to squash the industry. People in positions of power that are allowing this to happen are the FRAUD of America. The FDA admitted that CBD has medicinal properties; they even admitted that CBD has negligible abuse potential in their April 2018 briefing document (Google it and ctrl+f search for "negligible"). The WHO recommended that CBD from hemp with less than .2% THC should not be controlled at all; they even recommended a lower schedule for marijuana --admitting that they were wrong about it. Regardless, corrupt state officials are taking action to regulate against CBD. CBD helps people, but it's obvious that state and federal leaders don't want to help regular American people as long as the fat cats keep lining their pockets. You all should be disgusted by what's happening in this country. The only reason they are trying to squash it is because of the fact that it's disruptive to big pharma. Big pharma will fight tooth and nail to block CBD to protect the status quo that keeps them in power --even if it's against human rights. They'll keep ibuprofen and NSAIDS on the shelves --destroying the stomach lining of all Americans, but God forbid allowing a substance with no harmful side effects that has the same anti-inflammatory properties. You people in power make me sick, and when you all die and your souls looks back at your lives, you'll even make yourselves sick. Innovation has a long history of being squashed in America; just look at Stan Meyer's water-powered car on YouTube; the guy was murdered because he didn't want to sell his invention to big oil. If I could puke on every one of the offenders' faces; I would.
No doubt here. I’m long and strong all the way until we’re worth multiple billions. I think he should get another job if he thinks he’s instilling doubt in anyone here. His entire piece is speculation with nothing substantial to back up what he says. It’s honestly not worth my time to break it apart piece by piece, but I’m sure that 99% of smart money investors will come to the same conclusion.
I read your post. You get the award for the longest speculation piece on ihub. Congratulations.
I’m trying to think of a more appropriate name for seeking alpha. How about seeking fraud? —Seeking criminals? —Seeking bias? —Seeking cherrypickers? Help me out here. The ones that post there seem to be anything but alphas.
Great minds think alike, and I thought the exact same thing about that article.
I meant INVESTORS15 —not INVESTOR15

Do you have 35 years of sector experience? —He does. I trust the guy with 35 years of experience. Have a nice day.
I don't know the darnedest thing about trading in Canada to be honest; that's just what an expert is saying. You are probably right though.
Regardless, it's a good sign that a CBD ad would play during the Super Bowl even if it's not a CVSI ad. This suggests a more welcoming attitude for CBD commercials in the future by major networks.
