oil reserve estimate is now $720.5M at $55/barrel
sorry, tree, I share a measure of personal responsibility in that. I was at a retreat for my job and didn't have proper internet connection to post during the day. I then was under 'significant other' discretion for the rest of the night ;) Once I get my act together this morning I'll be able to post some thoughts about yesterday's action.
If they had a decent business model, they would not be in this mess. The fact that they can't turn a profit and get out of debt without share dilution should tell us all that they are doomed. Remember, we're all hinging on their product selling, when it hasn't really gone to market yet. This is a horse-race bet at best, and we all bet on the wrong horse.
Yeah, IGTN is a pinky, but it's also a company with business hopes and a responsibility to shareholders, regardless of the situation the stock is in. Their financial behavior is nothing short of irresponsible, IMHO.
PPS and Level II? thanx
Favor: I'm out at a retreat right now and the wi-fi is exceptionally weak...can someone post PPS and Level II periodically? I can't get reliable feed out here....
Thanks,
Griz
powerpole, is there any way you can get this chart for the dates prior to the .128 spike? like say, August 15th through the 28th?
Fluor was just awarded a $500M contract from FEMA...if we are talking with Fluor we are going to be in teh sweeeeet
http://federaltimes.com/index2.php?S=1223259
true, but that was also without audited financials...
who are ya, itznot? welcome! looks like this was your very first post on iHub...
If it is one of those 4, my bet is on Hanson and Strahn, #126. They are a lease acquisition and brokerage firm, and best I can tell do not appear to have a drilling operation. No website to speak of, but Marc Strahn represents mineral leasing on the Wyoming Energy Commission as of April 2001....link:
http://wyoming.gov/governor/press_releases/2001/april_2001/appoint.html
I'm not sure about Ann Trujillo...there is an Ann Trujillo who's a news anchor, and another (possibly the same?) that's been slurping acreage the past years.
Maurice Brown is a complete mystery...
a while back I sent a mail to Plasticon suggesting that they team up with PBLS in order to make hurricane-proof housing in Katrina's wake....perhaps I started something there!!
<unlikely but one likes to imagine when all is quiet>
However, alot of the faith in this stock was also based on the expectation that they were going to file, based on the numerous promises we were given. Once they announced the filing (if they would've filed had a R/S not been announced) we'd probably be around .03 or .04...that is, until the financials were released...
it's so quiet you can hear a pin drop....calm before the storm
How could the PPS possibly be $2 after the split when the company is losing money every quarter and is in the hole over $6M?
ne14, you've been adding shares a million at a time, if we believe your previous posts. If you can afford to spend $27K at the drop of a hat, why not spend $30/quarter and get a premium subscription?
seabass smells strong this time of year....
great find, waverider. it's possible that is the place...the timing would be about right anyway. I wonder what the maximum yield is....
Wow, all of a sudden no faith at all.
I didn't realize iHub was a bashers board. There's no reason to bash this stock. If you want something to bash, go over to the IGTN board :)
welcome to teh suk?...according to that document they're talking about profitability in the last half of 2006 or 2007, at the earliest. Now I know why they didn't want to announce their financials....
heh, but don't worry, the reverse split will take care of this! haha!
good gravy is anyone watching the volume right now?
sexy MM flippers shakin' that ask, shakin' that ask....
sorry, got the song stuck in my head and couldn't resist the application here....hopefully they'll tap that ask soon :)
Volume has come to a screeching halt....MMs must've gone to lunch, eh?
you mean, a new buying opportunity :)
Wow.
I took a break from the board this weekend to clear my head and catch up with the rest of my life. I come back and some tension has brewed! My goodness...
With a company like PBLS it's too hard for me to speculate on any possible PR, *if* one is even coming out. It wouldn't make sense to sell off particular divisions because each gives significant cost reduction to the other (need sand for construction? need oil for trucking? etc). I can't imagine it's filing yet because I was told they need 3 years of financials to accomplish this, and I believe they need 2005's financials. I guess it could be a contract, but I was also under the impression that their private contracting would be sufficient and much more efficient in terms of payment.
If you look at the PRs they state that they will be aggressively pursuing more oil acquisitions. I'd say that's where we're heading...
OT Question: do you have to own certs to receive dividends?
well, that is that. at least we didn't close LOD. No matter. it was fun watching the MMs do this all week :)
welcome, kdpennies...!!
sorry to hear about your losses...if you look at my post history you will see me whining about a few of mine as well. You gotta lose some to learn your lessons, and even more to learn them well :) nice to have ya with us!
do you and your wife agree on a drilling date?
I think that's illegal, isn't it?
I think it's time for a beer:30 rally....
I bet we finish close to .0295 for the day
maybe the PR gave the MMs recent to short sell....who knows.
thanks serf (lmao)...I literally had a bag of carrots in my office fridge that I'd been chewing on all week, just to blend in (though I didn't make the connection until just now). I saved some just for today...good thing, too :)
yawn...what's Level II look like?
indeed....the collective ooohs and aahhs can be heard as far as 3 inches from my keyboard.
yawn...let's see some numbers. at least that will give me something to chew on.
well, the Sand and Gravel business likely doesn't work on contracts. they work on orders, which get filled, and they move on. My guess is that Murphy is taking on a ridiculous workload because of the high demand of the area, and since that was the bread-and-butter for a while, it's important to keep investors in the loop. I imagine that's where the cash for the acquisitions is coming from.
Filing: I guess it's happening!
http://www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/stories.pl?ACCT=104&STORY=/www/story/11-04-2005/0004208690&....
Sometimes you gotta put the odds down for the peeps to move....I owe someone 40 peanuts :)
Note, however there is no audited financial information released whatsoever...
if buyout is coming, it won't be for a long while. Phoenix is in a rapid growth period, so I wouldn't expect buyouts to come, and even if they do they would have to be pretty sweet for Alonzo to accept them....
I'm a paid member now :)
FYI for all I'm a paying member now so I will be able to reply with PMs. Thanks go to mac44, coydog, cowboy, serfdom, waverider, powerpole, treepeople, The_Free_Nebula, and more for making these boards interesting, compelling and also for generally being just good peeps. Glad to be on board with y'all :)

the oil acquisitions were locked in prior to the post-Katrina oil spike. they are focusing on it precisely because it is hot.
imho
ne14, I have NEVER asked you for info in public OR private. I have NEVER e-mailed you and NEVER called you.
NEVER.
The only question I ever asked you was if you'd ever been to Jersey City, which btw you never answered So keep me out of your cheap accusations.
btw, that message you posted from MWC was not on the public board. Which means *you* made an illegal post.
Check your ego at the door fella.
