Brilliant!
Yea, now that you mention it, I remember that it was Zagdad. He had a friend there who also took copious notes.
Bottom line, the facts were straight as presented. AND, what great facts they were.
I trust that this investment will pay out big over the long haul.
I plan on being there two or three years from now where Victory will be WELL over a few dollars.
Take QEGY for instance. They have 75M A/S, 5%-10% interest in several wells, a couple of wells in the Barnett shale w/ greater interest and some other projects. They are over $3.00pps.
If the Pala Duro projects pans out, Victory will be producing much more IMO and our pps should reflect this.
Ultimately, time will tell, but I am betting on time and positive outcomes.
Remember, I said it first! Over $3.00 in 3 years.
Hey Low, I'm sure I speak for many as I say "Thank You" for all the updating and phone calling you do for US.
I know your communication to us is you watching over your investment, but it saves us time. It saves Tom from scores of phone calls and preserves him from being frustrated by us, and it has other benefits.
But, I wanted to express my gratitude at the extra effort you put in for all of us. Thanks. And when/if we strike gas/oil, I do owe you a drink.

Hey Badge.
To all, consider it confirmed. Badge said it exactly as I understood it. This is why I am a shareholder in VTYE: Pala Duro Basin.
Tom took the time to discuss how the basin was found, EDEX's part and the ongoing 20%, as well as VTYE and Jon Mellecamp's roll (to a much shorter degree). He did encourage us to talk to Jon and pointed him out in the back of the room.
This was a small part of the discussion of how Seismic confirms PIP finds and how Seismic will be used for the first 3 wells in the area. If proven 100%, they will drop the 60K per seismic and just use PIP.
Tom did not speak to how VTYE would fund the project, but IMO, part of the funding will come from the Mesa, of which VTYE has the 2.5% interest.
Badges numbers as posted are what I remember as well as his info about the responsibility of development for VTYE.
To me, it is not a short term play, but a long term play. As I said before, the way to make money in pinksheets is to find a viable company, a real company, with real prospects and real potential, and hold for the long term.
To me, Victory Energy is one such company.
I trust this proves helpful.
They accepted it last night. They have never even done this before in the last 9 months. The order stayed from 7pm to after the MNF game.
This morning I find its now rejected. Something is up, but I am clueless as to what it is.
Well something is up.
Yesterday, Etrade would not accept an order. Today they are now accepting orders.
It will be interesting to see what happens.
Thanks for the post Allie.
Hey Allie, thanks for the response.
Let me also extol the investing record and ideas of Warren Buffet. He is a god of investing. His words and ideas are tried and true. Even more, they produce. I take only lessons from him and have nothing to say negative about him or his philosophies.
That being said, it erks me that some would try to insinuate that Warren Buffets 8% loss rule applies to Pinks and we all should sell our SPOOZ stock because of it. It tells me that we have someone with an agenda. (This may or may not be true, but on the surface it sure can look that way.) If one were to honestly read some past posting, this is exactly what has been done. I understand the commonality of it – but – I hate the unrighteous manipulation of those less fortunate either knowledge wise or experience wise. What these (not accusing others of this here) bashers forget, those who would try to scare others into selling only to purposely try to pluck their shares at a cheap price, is that they will reap what they sow. This is a fact. I’ll get off my soapbox now.
Regarding “long-term” investing in the pinksheets If someone were to check my posting they would find that I have said the following multiple times: The real way to make money in pinks is to find a real company with real prospects to make real money and to sit on it for a year or two or more. I am not against long term investing, instead, I am very much for it. BUT, not because Warren Buffet said long term investing.... and try to make us believe that it has anything to do with his investment protocols in the pinksheets. Anyone who tries to tie these together is ignorant. I am all for long-term investing in pinksheets and have several.
Oh yea, the day traders are screaming! Yep. I however, while down from .01 am not thrilled, but I am adding! I am in this stock for the long run, and if the Fractal works as I think it might, this stock will blow the roof off in time. I plan on being there to cash in with a Mill or two. Not a lot to others, but good enough for me. The bumpy ride is only allowing me to add at a great price.
Time to close it down and to encourage others to do their DD, call the Co, talk to Paul, do your homework, make a plan on entrance and exit points, and place your bets. If its sour at the moment, act like a grownup and not a childish whiner if things aren’t going your way at the moment.
The jury is still way too out to make a guaranteed decision! Hence the risk. This is the pinksheets! Act like it.
And if it makes it big, then be gracious, humble and spend your well earned investment wisely!
Blessings to all.
I love how you twist everything!
Fact: Buffet was NOT refering to the otcbb and pinksheets! Get a grip.
Second: Therefore a witch, a Monty Python about following logic and faulty logic. Since Buffet was not referring to pinksheets etc, his logic, application, etc does not apply.
Force it as you may, it still holds NO water! Give me oh wise one your list of pinksheets that Buffet invested in. Name even one. Get a clue yet?
Third: Its not me who needs either to lay off the sauce, or have their integrity questioned.
Further, rather than just quote, as most unlearned people have to do, why don't you ask the assistant mod of this board whether Warren Buffet was talking about Pink Sheet investments when he made that statement. You will never find the reference.
BTW: I love how you went ballistic on you other thread/threadt about TOS violations. One thing I've learned about people is that those who scream the loudest....
well, you can use your imagination.
My opinion, on this public board is to question your integrity, motive and existence here. You've added NO dd, given everything a negative spin, and from here on are on ignore!
Bye, bye you and your manipulations. I refuse to argue with one who is acting like a fool.
Tom was delighted, yet realistic to talk about seismic and how it works well with the PIP & EDEX. Tom related the following and more.
1. Seismic works off a 90 degree grid pattern. If they hit the right spot, then it will indicate something under the ground. The problem is that the grid is so wide it misses most of the potential.
2. PIP works off an entirely different process, uncovering the evidence of oil/gas under the surface in specific locations/spots.
3. When you take a PIP hot spot, and run a seismic in that specific spot (even though the are may have has seismic run in the past and it gave no indication of the presence of oil/gas - see #1 above) on a 3D, 3 plane pattern, you get the real indication. In the seismic results from the test at the Palo, this is exactly what happened. Seismic had been run in the past with no results. PIP found oil and called seismic for a 3 plane seismic on that specific spot. Guess what they found? Yup, Oil, a reef top in the specific spot.
4. Here is the practicality. Tom indicated that when they do this well with VTYE, and if they find these reef tops of oil there, then they will do 3 more with seismic. After that, they will know the PIP works in the area/field and will then forgo the $60K cost of the seismic per location and just use the PIP.
Jag, that is also true.
They did sit up and take notice however at the seismic reading in the Palo Duro Basin. Tom said their eyes got real big and they asked specifically: "How did you know it was there, and right at that spot?"
The big boys are conservative, but they also want to find oil. If some one starts to prove they have a way which will help improve methods and raise success percentages, they are very open. After the little seismic demonstration, they are now more open than ever.
Should the Mesa prove out to be successful, the word will spread. The resting point for me is that Tony and Calvin, thru relationship and desire, will stay on board with EDEX.
As I talked with Tom personally at the conference, he shared with me about Calvin and Tony and their attitudes, desires, integrity, and them being at the point in life that "they didn't want anyone else to tell them what to do."
So while you mention that the big boys do view them with skepticism, and this is true, but Tony & Calvin don't want to work for them. They have turned them down and will continue to do so.
Designer, there are times when I could have saved money by selling and there are also many, many times where I would have lost money had I not held!
Dips are normal, and in pinksheets, wide dips happen all the time.
I held AURC at .18 and it fell to past .10. I eventually sold in the .30's. I have other stories.
Bottom line is that at times you win and times you lose. The 8% rule is a Buffet rule meant for a different type of investment. At times it may prove true here, but just as oft, it will not. He is correct however in the NYSE. No question about that.
Best wishes.
Change, your references to Warren Buffet hold NO water in the land of Pink! You either know this or should know it.
Buffets trading methodology are for the big boys in the land of 3 letters or NASDAQ. Come on. This is investing 101.
So, If you really are intent on getting your questions answered:
1. Obviously, this board is not the proper venue as you want Pauls answers as you do not accept ours.
2. Therefore a witch ;)
3. How 'bout, and here is a novel thought, blog Paul. You obviously have the time and you obviously want his answers. So, be a big boy and do just that.
Best wishes.
Tony and Calvin are the owners / developers of the PIP process. They have been in the field together for 25+ years.
They choose not to work for or be controlled by the big boys. Their delight is for the "hunt" and "discovery." They want to call the shots to their own time schedules at this season in their lives. They will not be working for anyone else.
They are friends and co-horts of Tom and their relationship is long term as well. They own part of the rights to the finds and EDEX.
Edit: The good thing about this is that no one else will get the technology for a long time!
(Note: All this is per Tom.)
DD was never so easy! Thanks for the update.

An absolute great post. You've presented a good bit for any shareholder on which to chew.
Thanks for the well balanced perspective. Time to chew.
As per the T/A 10/20/06

Place your bets.
(Those who wait for a year or two will make the most! IMO)
Change, point taken.
But, ever hear of buy on rumor, sell on news?
Until we hear definitely, it could be either dumping OR a major shareholder selling for hundreds of reasons, many of which are not negative at all.
The problem is that you've been quite one sided without any evidence either way.
Your facts are just that: Facts, a summary of shares sold. That’s it. There is no basis in any reality for any opinion you share of what it means. It is all unsubstantiated rumor at this point.
The real fact is that you could be dead right or dead wrong. If you continue to believe as you do, then sell and save those with a different opinion from the headache of unsubstantiated rumor, which indeed you are presenting.
If you actually believe your posting, then sell and move on or ye be the dumbest of the dumb.
I am waiting for the reality, a SEC reporting or a T/A confirmation.
I am investing, not fretting.
Yea, but is Ellie Mae & Granny included in the deal with the yachts and mansions?
I'm not responding to the post of either of you. I am responding that the both of you have made yourselves look.....
It doesn't make either of you look good, only childish. It does not belong on this board.
I am encouraging you to step up your maturity a notch and drop it. You might then gain some future respect, both here and any other board with which you might choose to participate.
Just a friendly suggestion.
I have appealed to maturity - not insanity, I have appealed to intelligence and common decency.
I will leave you two to play in the mud and look extremely childish or to step it up and become the adult. It does take two....
No more responses or pleading from me.
Fat, its time to end it. Both you look stupid. Anyone can read the posts.
Its now become a childs game of who gets the last word. This is no longer about the stock (IMO). Its personal.
So that you quit looking stupid, drop it.
Studio, its time to end it. Just drop it.
Come on Gee, don't act ignorant. The reason is that the MM's make a fortune and the SEC protects them, not us.
Who's gonna stop this sweet deal? Not the MM's nor the SEC, and certainly not us.
And .0001? So much for reality based. You're on ignore!

and therefore????
Jag, Low,
Couldn't resist the bargin price so I made the jump and bought today at .014. Low downside, great upside.
Now, if we can only get the drill to the Mesa.
Yea, near as I figured, based on the market cap, they had about 50M shares. Actually, they have 75M A/S. But, they are only doing small interests.
In the Mesa we have 35% and 65%, and this is on a possible hugh field. This said, the Mesa could sell for $400 to $600M next spring/summer. A dollar or two dividend would bring us up to these levels with no problem. Tom has indicated to me that a fair offer would let him sell this field and move to the other two next to this one, pay a dividend AND start a drill company or buy rigs at our choice!
IMO, if we do strike pay in the Mesa, we will be at a pps of $3.00 next summer after proving out the field with the 2nd and 3rd drill.
None of this includes the Glasscock 5%, Palo Duro basin 20% of all wells, (which could be hundreds), Harteman 5%, and others (already lined up in Tom's mind) that would quickly arise if the Mesa hits pay.
The Mesa looms large for us, but even moreso for Tom with his 40% interest in EDEX hitting pay!
Thanks though for pointing out the share difference.

We will do better than this!
From .15 to over $3.00 in 6 months, and only taking small interests in wells. Copley is right! if the Mesa hits we will be well over $5.00 in 2 years!

I had an order in for .10 all day and no fill.
Bummer.
Ah, the 'ole three sides to every coin argument! Does that also include the inside and outside?
Yup, perspective, right perspective is the key!
Thanks again Lowman

NP.
Thanks for the gracious reply. We all need to know the factors influencing oil production and pricing as it will affect EDEX and our pps.
These are important discussions for us to have.
Top Hat
Starnes, you conveniently left out the whole influence of the Futures Market! My God man. It is 1/2 of the entire equation. Many other facts were left out.
1. No major hurricanes this season in the gulf!
2. Major oil finds!
3. Increased production and refineries!
4. Status quo in the middle east for the past while.
These facts would always drive the futures market down.
Yes, the N. Korean issue which just proved itself last night and the OPEC meetings will have an effect, but the reality is that the Democrats did not uncover a problem, they smelled political opportunity for the dumb masses that empty headedly follow their talking heads.
Its funny how out of both sides of their mouth they label the Bush administration as the stupidest of all times and then try to portray them as brilliant and able to control even OPEC, the Futures Market and the entire world. Sorry, this does not wash!!!!!
This board is not for political debate, but I could not let such a biased post, with ½ the facts left out go unchallenged.
I hope your post and this one will end this OT discussion.
Just read the PR. Not thrilled with the delay. I know that Tom is also not thrilled as his 40% interest in the project has a lot more riding that my .5M. I am sure that he is even frustraded moreso.
I have not talked to Tom about the delay and do look forward to this conversation. I too want straight answers and expect them.
I have no problem waiting as the risk/reward continues to tip ever stronger in the favor of reward as I uncover more and more. Again, I am frustrated at the delay, but am looking long-term.
Please, if you are frustrated SELL! I would like to pick up more cheap shares! (I won't hide any agenda here, I will just say it honest. Thanks in advance for them and am grateful to all the weak hands as are many of us are who know and understand the long-term.)
Top Hat
Henceforth, my response.
Thanks for yours though.
If the Mesa hits it will IMO be a buyout of $400M to $600M to the company (based on 1T gas), and eventually to the shareholders of EDEX, of which Tom owns 40%. Not all the money will be distributed to the shareholders, but at least some with $$$ left over for EDEX.
So I figure that Tom could easily give a dividend of $1.00 per share with more than enough to have for drilling and funding of future prospects. When I talked to him personally about this issue, he mentioned $1.00 and $2.00 as examples of resonable dividends.
This outlook only is for this one project - The Mesa. It is also conservative. By some estimates, the Mesa could be as high as 4T cubit feet, not just 1T. If it turns out to hold 2T in gas, then double the numbers. Time will tell.
If there is in the future, say next summer a buyout, the multiple of the dividend price could bring EDEX pps to ? Ten times dividend is quite reasonable for a stock like ours. The better thing is that this will be just the tip of the iceburg if the Mesa hits and PIP actually works like it has in the past.
Sorta, you wrote: "I'd look for a few billion shares to be issued... "
Please discuss your reasoning, besides the they went pink explaination.
Let me know what "facts" go into making this decision, if any.
Always looking for facts I missed. Or, really is this pure speculation on your part, as most of the pink sheet companies I own have less than 150 Million AS. If its nothing more than pure guesswork, please note this instead.
TIA
Yea Fizz, it bothered me. I saw the PR as promising and great info. The last line about possible dilution put a skid to my tracts. I was going to add, I will not wait.
I'm long here for sure, I just will wait to see what happens before I add.
Give it time to digest. It is very positive. Buyers will come.
Awesome post Songbird. Thanks for the update.
The Ameritrade info is highly significant. Am grateful as it confirmed my guess.
