? We confirmed our expectation to initiate a HSV-2 Phase 1/2 trial by the end of 2013. We anticipate that the trial will be a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study conducted at 7 sites in the U.S. This trial is expected to enroll approximately 150 subjects who are HSV-2 positive. We also anticipate that the trials primary endpoints will be safety for all subjects and efficacy for a subset of subjects.


? We also announced that Astellas is planning to conduct a Phase 2 trial of ASP0113 in solid organ transplant recipients which is expected to begin later this year. We anticipate that this trial will enroll approximately 150 CMV seronegative donors who receive a kidney from a CMV seropositive donor. The primary endpoint of this trial is expected to be the incidence of CMV viremia after transplantation. We also anticipate monitoring several secondary endpoints including CMV disease, CMV-specific antiviral therapy, graft survival and overall mortality.

Astellas expects to begin a separate Phase 2 trial of ASP0113 in solid organ transplant (SOT) recipients later this year.
