As correctly stated: if B OM was a success then what does failure look like? Dec 2018 data back and it has gone nowhere. That is how to define failure.
It is amusing that some pretend otherwise.
Ah- the great rush to get B OM sachets in the mouths of those with mucositis!
Just never happened
ok then. Maybe a few have been dosed. How many? Where?
Oh- we have no clue. Because we are under informed.
In fact- it is a total joke.
played on company owners(US) BY THE CEO
where do things actually stand? Because we have a CEO who fails to inform his company owners of relevant info we can only speculate. I think the trials have just opened, maybe no one dosed even. Leo kept announcing trial start so I believe the 12/17 start in Russia(Q4, after all, as initially promised)was delayed. Until last week, I think.
Otherwise one could expect interim data already back from Russia if the had enrolled a lot of patients starting 2 months ago. We would expect grand pronouncements from IP if there were stellar initial data. So there is none.
Until we see the clinical trials stuff then we are not told what is happening in the US. How much will we ever know about Russian results? If it does not do well it will be a repeat of P- buried away, hidden figures
sad days 106 + 14=120. Slowly it dawned on IP shareholders that all that huge interest by everybody in B v C had led to a trial in Russia and token participation elsewhere. So it goes in IP land.
On another front: Avifavir or remdesivir? How do you know which is standard in Russia? Leo did not bother to inform us. I think they use both antivirals, first manufactured and used avifavir.
Are you suggesting that is it neither one? How do you know?
Has Remdesivir supplanted Avifavir across Russia? Or not ?
And you know for a fact that there is no antiviral agent as a standard there? I bet you are wrong, though I do not know it for a fact either
Woulda been nice to be told more by Leo. Though some here want less(LOL)
Thanks Leo! Thanks so much. I did not think you said imminently and of course you said nothing of the sort in the PR.
Prurisol.....
clearly much better to say nothing though right? To let the Russian trial be discovered by others? Why say even one little thing about trial or grants or even the lab data ? Why tell any shareholder one iota of info? Such complete and utter nonsense.
Why tell anyone most of the trial is in Moscow and Leningrad? Oh . He did not tell is that. Somebody else did. Oh.
Hmm...is it worth knowing little details like 106 Russia and 14 USA = 120.
I think so.
You are joking right? You do realize that any trial must provide standard care to be ethical? Or maybe in Russia standard of care does not apply and you are surprised it is part of the trial? Was that what you meant? Even in Russia they will have standard care, though presumably not Remdesivir, but their own antiviral
Of course standard care applies. What is sad is that B was not tested months ago, so that it is a standard care, and other drugs have to beat it/add to it to be accepted. Now B has to provide antiinflamm effects that add to or top Dexamethasone, for one example.
We shall see how it does
imminent publication? Where does it say that? Did you follow prurisol, and the imminent publication of its data? No, maybe not, or you would never say such a thing. It all depends on the data and whether good enough or whether twistable into something that looks sort of good.
Leo did not say published imminently-
106 +14 =120. So much for all those predictions that there was a separate US trial of 120. Still little helpful info released by IP. Anybody dosed yet? How many?
Leo here- Maybe I should have mentioned that all the interest in Brilacidin was from Russian hospitals. Would that make any difference?
OK yes I admit that Wakefield is within a stone's throw of so many big Boston Hospitals, and where is MGH and the Brigham and BI and Tufts and Lahey and BMC? Etc Etc.
Moscow and St Petersburg is where the action is.
And yet, we do. Have something in common. Frustration with CEO communication. Belief in the science. Owners of many shares.
It is interesting- to say the least- that as the pivotal trial in company history gets under way, you subtract instead of add shares.
oh really?? Maybe ask old prof then, how close we are. Sorry that you seem to think a quick couple of sentences are hard work. For some, maybe. Sorry about that dude.
wow.Taking a step back just when the rocket is about to launch? Disturbed about lack of communication from the CEO? Misled about the trial, a bit? Greetings from Russia-join the dissidents, shareholders who are critical because they are unhappy with info flow, to take one example.
Conveniently ignores the fact that NO DEAL NO GO nothing happening at all since data out more than two year ago. With success like that then who needs failure?
If there was such great promise then where is the partnership? Desperate unmet need for severe mucositis treatment.
Partners woulda lined right up the day after results came back if good enough data. But NO.
No deal, though? What can that mean?
Let me think- oh yeah, it means it was not good enough for prime time
That's the spirit ! More than 2 years after B OM not successful we cannot call it a failure.
Will you call B for C a success if there is no further testing? Or a deal? Or a partnership? And the drug never moves forward after this trial is done?
How many more non failures can the company live with?
good grief. NOT criticizing you personally, did not say that you were guilty of anything at all- EXCEPT I am not certain the trial will fail because nobody knows, not you or I or DeGrado or Putin
once again, to respond to total nonsense- I protest silly irrational exuberance, wherein high likelihood of success is asserted. Many a slip twixt lab and human trial.
I am reserving judgment, hopeful but realistic
just one opinion
Comrade Ehrlich speaks! Hey folks. Remember when I kept telling you about all the interest expressed in B for C? The institutions and hospitals. I just neglected to tell you they were in Russia.. And I may have neglected to announce the trial starting in Russia, too. Until I absolutely had to say something. But not before you guys already figured it out.
Ha!
Anyway, then, lots of interest from places like Moscow and StPetersburg, go figure!
Oh- and when say the trial started I do not mean anybody has been given a dose of B. I am referring to the fact that at 7 Nobel St in Moscow- you know IP trial HQ- someone has been to the office to start the heat and to turn on the lights.
Up and running, right?
Ha!
just another day without any news from IP land. Oh yeah- ZAHVtra.
No doubt.
12/17/2018. NOT 2019. B OM trial prelim data out in 2018!!! Much worse than I remembered, a year earlier than I recalled. So unfortunate.
No Phase 3
No deal.
No partnership.
In every important measure the B OM trial was a failure
But let's pretend that makes it a success, and that B has never failed a trial. Let's pretend that mincing words and meanings is telling the truth.
Boris! 106 +14 =120. It's Natasha. A few token USA patients added on to the Russia trial. The world trusts our vaccine data. Right? Heh, heh. Just wait for the Brilacidin data. Express your doubts and we will poison you. And then deny it. What a place to do business- I mean conduct a scientific trial
ZAHVtra- critical Russian language lesson. We hear this one all time - tomorrow. It's the most important word to know for IP because that is when everything happens- ZAHVtra- the big IP announcement ! ZAHVtra-get your shares before then or it'll be too late. ZAHVtra- shock and awe, stand back.
The only problem is that it has always been ZAHVtra for the IP meteoric rise. Critical IP Russian word to know, that is for sure. As time passes, yes, it has taken on a sense of irony, mocking, almost, as the rocket that is IP never launches.
Here's an example: huge trial launch trumpeted from Wakefield? Umm, no, actually; instead, uncovered by the due diligence of someone who found Brilacidin on a Russian trial registry.
How sad...
Just wait though there is always- always-
ZAHVtra
Need we say more? Sigh. Lack of a P3, lack of a deal, tells it all. Nothing could be more obvious.
B OM data out Dec 2019 and no deal since. That sums it all up.
B OM chatter. Data not good enough to move into Phase 3. Case closed.
good time to buy if one had any faith at all in Leo's ability to deliver.
while Leo likes to avoid disclosing bad news, he will reliably PR good news. He has not done so recently, with B v C trial starts and B UC trial movement. It begins to feel to me that in fact he cannot issue PRs during a quiet period. Obv just suggested by others, and maybe they are right.
This is quite the deviation of his standard behavior
DObree dyane(Good day) everyone. Welcome again to Russian school, brought to you by your IP trial comrades, researchers spread out across the glorious Russian nation. You all got the big announcement ? The trial has begun. Although I wonder where exactly, since none of the 20 sites have reported dosing a patient.
Maybe they just meant someone turned the key at 7 Nobel Street to get things going at IP Moscow. Ha- let's get the heat going and warm up the office. You thought Wakefield was cold? Wait till you experience ZEEma(winter)in Moscow. Its deep midwinter here in the Russian capital.
Culture shock, total shock- we know, we know. You think your company will run the trial in the good old USA and vDRUG(suddenly)- you end up in St Petersburg and Barnaul and Moscow at 20 scattered hospitals you have never heard of and it's not even the same alphabet! We hear this all the time
So, official greetings, once again, and we look forward to many months here with you IP shareholders. It is likely your drug trial here will achieve its intended goal.
We promise- it will overachieve, or your money back.
Not to worry about your trial over here poZHALsta(please)
This is just so incredibly helpful. I had wondered if it was the last several PRs or the the 10Q that were going to lead to the launch of IP into the stratosphere. Only it never happens, even though it is widely expected and predicted. You know, next week or Come Monday, that sort of tomorrow is the big news- true here at IP for years already, not days.
So to find out that the next PR will be big big big? Merci. Or should I say spasibo? One has the sense that Russian accent/vocabulary might go better here for several months at least.
OK so what could it be? It cannot be news of the trial results because it just started. That is the most important news of all and it cannot be announced yet. You must be predicting a partnership announcement.
Well, bonne chance.
Or better: oodachi.
Gotta get used to Russian after all.
so many buying opportunities, right? LOL! Right!
Gotta be a false selloff, because what could possibly go wrong with an all Russia trial? it's just the best possible news, right? With no info for shareholders about the trials? No details. Totally bogus mismanagement by the CEO but we will pretend everything is fine and it is all a false selloff.
Seriously?
If True it is a disaster. All ICU patients? They will be very difficult for any drug to help.
I hope this information proves to be inaccurate.
DeGrado value? LOL. The trial is in RUSSIA! Maybe he can be man of the year in Russia. In 2022. Or 2023.
Leo has botched this all mightily. It is a disaster of his own design. Pathetic. Shareholders are left in the dark or the lurch or wherever bad place one can be stuck
120= 106 + 14- but the CEO will explain it all, right?
Any day now IP, any day...For the newbies: this is your CEO at work, textbook example of not keeping shareholders in the loop
This is what to expect out of IP
After all of his big talk for MONTHS now we end up with a never announced trial IN RUSSIA of all places. So much expectation institutional interest DeGrado connection on and on and here we arein Moscow and Leningrad of all places.
Hey at least my college Russian comes in handy.
So sad.
Uzhashno. More IP Russian. It means terrible, awful. It describes a lot of things assoc with this company, such as the botched decisions around informing shareholders about the trials. Like letting the major info source be the due diligence her that uncovered the Russia trial.
Horrible.
Uzhashno- practice using it in a sentence abut the company- it is easy. And it's a new Russian word. Get used to it!
Ponedelnik. Monday. We are starting IP Russian school. As in, maybe there will be news on Monday. As in Come Monday...
More lessons to come, possibly right up until September 30
Sold down the Volga by Comrade Ehrlich. Despite all the interest...
Sold down the Volga...106 + 120 is 226. I think.
Has he announced 226 over and over?
Nyet.
Leo=liar if trial not 106 Russia and 14 USA. He has said over and over total =120. It is a now apparent and very uncomfortable truth. here is a company that will fail to inform shareholders about anything that they deserve to know.
500,00 dead and our CEO cannot explain what is happening.
exactly. Did the office open at 7 Nobel St in Moscow or have they given B to 20 or 50 patents already. Of course we are not informed. Gotta be for Leo to hide the truth. Unless part of partnership? Could that be?
NO PR when info flow is called for. What is Leo hiding? He wants to hide that only 14 patients will be enrolled in the USA? Is that part of it?
This is one sorry spectacle
US trial? 14 measly patients to add to 106 in Russia to total 120? Why cannot shareholders get some clarity? Because it looks bad? Sure, it looks bad. All that interest Leo talked up and we are almost exclusively in Russia. We can only hope that what was written here- mostly ICU patients-is NOT true. Those are difficult patients to fix for any drug. We can only hope that is is false info.
Or, is there a larger US trial? Obv it ought to show on clinical trials site- today, maybe? Or does Leo mean something different by start?
We are left to speculate because the CEO is failing us badly.
NO PR and 2 trials start? Is this bogus, or what? CEO declines to tell company owners what the heck is happening. When did they start and where? One guesses the US had to have begun a day or two ago or it'd be listed under the clinical trials website. and one guesses the Russian trial was delayed since the finish time is pushed so far back.
But of course we should not be guessing at all, and we would not have to, if the CEO felt he had any obligation to shareholders.
He cannot say due to a partnership agreement? Fat chance, let see if that is true.
Grant applications are in- gee, where have we heard that before? As if the B v C lab data will change. So the grants are waiting on B v C human trial, then- just like everything else.
The trial or trials we are told nothing about. Even though they supposedly started
