'Ingrid" ...the current active storm system ...Is expected to go for the east coast of FL by next week ....Checkout the hurricane weather center...During this time period there will be few buyers to match any sellers...

I'm impressed by both the frequency of contracts coming out these days and the size of the contracts. These contracts have the potential to grow into gigantic amounts when the customer decides to fill out their entire store chain. Murdoch seems to have trimmed back costs and headcount as he is driven to make a profit. The updated product line is clearly making a difference in the marketplace as these sales indicate.

Robert Furst although owning well over 17M shares is still buying ....Just posted another 50K shr Buy yesterday ....

BTW, SKVY has installed into Walmart before ....The co. got the Distribution Centers in the UK as customers about 2 years ago ....Needless to say if SKVY can get the Walmart stores this stock is off to the races as many penny players will price this stock well beyond fair value ....especially since most ofthe stock is in insiders hands ....Murdoch and Furst some 60-65% of the stock(Not sold into the rise)..
IMO the company is profitable in the 2nd half with the contracts/backlog in place already.

The latest PR/News could be the clincher .....The only Retailer with that many stores is WALMART I believe ... Add this to the 6M dollar Q3/4 backlog....

The customer has more than 4,000 stores and expects to use OperationalVideo(TM) as a tool to provide improved information for business managers. Up on your trade?? That's nice ....If you can't make money on UVE you better go to CD's....The fundimentals on UVE are great ....That is not the only thing going that will move this stock price around... The drop from 6.60 on Monday after the 10Q should give you a clue...Lots of short term traders. Stocks under 10 get jerked around a lot anyway... UVE with their only business coming from FL during Hurricane season will only add to the fun...

The NHC projects hurricane Dean to be Cat 3 or larger by Monday as it turns north from Cuba ....Fl is in the projected path at this early projection phase..

Take a look at 'DEAN' ... heading just south of Florida now.... As Fl residents know ,,, you can't buy a policy when there is a named storm out there. I do not expect any buying up of UVE stock for the next 2-3 months in any big way except when the stock gets oversold .....technically. The risk of a storm hitting the Fl coast is there and when it happens there will be zero buyers for any and all stock put up for sale....Then add the short sellers,,, who no longer have to sell on the uptick,, drive prices down to the ground

I'm with you,,, There are two storms brewing now ,,, one in the Gulf and one in the Atlantic with the National Weather Service watching for the buildup. UVE's only business is in Florida properties ....The high risk will be there until Nov. ....Tough to find lots of buyers with that hanging over the company. We had fast money buy in before earnings and it left just as quickly.

Check the weather map .....in the Gulf ...Hurricane season may be heating up...It will be tough for UVE to trade up when the season runs to Nov.

Almost 40 companies in Florida played a game of switching places on Friday as the Russell Index reconstituted its lineup. The closely watched index, which tracks the 4, 000 largest U.S. companies based on market capitalization, ushered in 277 new companies. That's slightly higher than last year, but far shy of the average annual addition of 405, Russell spokesman Steve Claiborne said. The list includes the traditional Russell 3000 and the next 1,000 stocks that are now ranked. The combined market cap of Russell 3000 companies is $18.5-trillion, up $3-trillion from a year ago.
