This is one possibility and the Apple example is not what we are seeing here. They call themselves Apple and the whole world knows what they are up to. Longtai Medical supposedly does 100 million Dollars a year(thought I read that somewhere a while ago). And, if they are just setting up a business entity there why do they have a CEO located in the same country? Why is that needed? Wouldn't the CEO be commenting from China? I'm very confused.
That's just the way I read it. One of the surgeons who is more familiar with the facilities than me may be able to speak to the differences. The bigger question is weren't we supposed to hear of the two other facilities by now?
I think most thought The Robotics institute would be one. The other two are more intriguing from a strategic viewpoint imo.
Good idea
Ones working with Florida Hospital Nicholson Center and the other with the Florida Hospital Institute for surgical advancement. Big difference imo
I don't see that as the same announcement at all but I'm in the minority. One company is playing with the A team and the other the B team.
Good point. Way more to this story. At least we can reach out to the CEO by mail if we would like any clarification. No, not email or phone, just good old fashioned mail. ??
Hmmm....
Not much choice right now. They need money and don't want to take on debt. I think(hope) they will do the Reverse Split at the right now to get uplisted and then we are off(my opinion). They have a partnership with Longtai.
Very hard to answer unfortunately. They are a dilution machine until certain milestones are reached. They still need 60-65 million to get to FDA approval. This feels like a bottom but I've felt like that a few times.
I wonder if they are still building the 15 million operations center?
What short squeeze? You ain't seen nothing yet.
Good point Scalpel. We are getting close.
Maybe I'm missing the reference but what panel of 450 lawyers?
All they need is successful studies and design freeze. Pitter Patter along until then and then we are off. It won't be easy but (provided no major changes) we should get there. The downside, and it needs to be said, any major changes and put the fork in her for any significant gains. I do think however you slice it if your cost basis is beneath a $1 and your time table is flexible, you still get out with your shirt if it turns bad. I can't imagine how valuable this becomes once they have a frozen design and successful trials. That's only 6-7 months away. We can listen to this talk about all these other platforms and how they are gonna be so huge but the reality is there arent too many companies(I can count on 1 finger) that have been able to bring something as complex as a surgical robot for this many potential procedures to market. All will struggle, just as Titan has. It's gonna be fun to watch Titans value rise once they have regulatory approvals and the next entrant comes to market. What are all these potential players , who have to protect their surgical businesss gonna do when their competition has a robot and new huge players get ready to introduce new platforms?
Great point.
Bottom line is all of you naysayers have no clue what hand they are holding and because they aren't showing it I tend to think there is way more in the way of ammo. Certainly no panic coming from them.
They are not going to answer that or the Patel question. These answers are too important to their ultimate goal of complete secrecy. Even when they tell us something I never get the sense that we are ever hearing anything very valuable.
Nice find. He is not on the speakers tour. The guy is obviously a big deal and he continues to stay at Titan why? Doubt he just likes playing the underdog. I found this line under the topics his group is discussing particularly interesting - What is the role of the IP function in corporate ventures and interactions with start-ups? How to co-create?
That's what I was working off of. Thought the plan would be to sell this the whole time.
If they are solo, I made a big mistake. Oh well. Guess I completely read this one wrong.
"The features of the SPORT Surgical System have been validated by 'voice of customer' input. We are very pleased that the SPORT Surgical System, as designed, will enable the customer to achieve a very significant return on investment clinically, financially, and operationally," - this wasnt said by Ethicon.

Sure it's just an oversight but it's John Hargrove
Honestly very surprised that any of this stuff is a surprise to anyone on this board. With the amount of money invested as well as time spent posting on this board I thought for sure stuff like this had been uncovered by everyone long ago. We are sitting at about $.11 a share. If there was ever a time to start really digging in it's now. The truth is out there. (And side note- you're not going to find it by emailing McNally, Randall etc. I think that's what Adrock was getting at. He's been there, done that). Nor should we expect to. Look at all of the potential players in surgical robotics(all of them- conventional/unconventional, established/start ups)and the people involved. After really digging you will probably come to some conclusions. What do you land on? Does it sway your opinion of what your invested in(one way or the other)? I'm willing to bet if that happens and we check in after a months time our opinions will be very similar.
how's the view from Mom and dads basement? How do you break up your day? Couple of hours playing XBOX coupled with an hour or two of day trading junk mj penny stocks. Then doing your paid pump and dump gig on the Titan board to pay the electric for your Ma and Pa?
He did say two in the US and one in Europe so that is where he is probably getting one more.
Probably 2+2
What are you expecting?
Do you mean to take this private on the cheap? Just asking because any time I've suggested I get laughed at.
Agreed
Advanced instrumentation I believe
Design Freeze is pretty big
They are gonna short them when they have design freeze? That's pretty ballsy
You wanna deal with the shorts? Doesn't hurt to have a Dr who has Google and IBM showing up in his OR to see what he's up too. I think you are poo pooing his value a little too much. I'm pretty sure the Sea of doctors you are referring to aren't getting visits from those guys. And they(Google/IBM) are the future of surgery.
Haha. Talk about a guy who has no idea what he just got himself into. Good luck shaking these shares loose. You just came onto a board with a ton of devoted longs who are either hitting it big or going down with the ship. Might want to reread a couple more how to make money in penny stock blogs.
Because they fart the amount of money it would take to do that on a daily basis.
I would say it's probably the two that invest listed. I'll throw another dark horse in there. Think it could be this place? http://cfs.ucsd.edu/Pages/default.aspx
AGM video- a couple things I noted:
Advanced Energy- where have I been? This is the first time I'm hearing about this? Thought they would only have 7 basic tools when they came to market
Camera - flexible endoscopic like. Makes a ton of sense. However, what brought this about? Is this related to platform imaging going away. Was this done because of Medrobotics making noise with their system? Is this related to patents? They mentioned they are the only company that can manipulate the camera and snake arms through their hand controllers. On the surface this sounds like a big advantage but not done right could make the robot more difficult to operate.
Perry Genova - got the impression that he made the decision to accelerate the move to Plexus sooner rather than later and sounds like it's paying big dividends. Also, and with great respect to Dennis Fowler for what he brought to this, you can tell it was time for a Perry Genova type for where this is now headed. Fowler didn't have the background for this. The only thing I don't understand is he completely disappeared.
Interesting that they throw out the locations of the partners that we definitely know but don't share the tips, advanced energy and simulation software partner locations.
Money - scary to think they wanted more money out of these last two raises and couldn't get it despite an entity being able to acquire a substantial portion of the company for a relatively small amount of money if this is as good as we perceive it to be. This was my biggest concern after viewing the video.
You're so smart
