Weed company knows how to grow weed....here's your cookie, sir.
If that is how you judge an acquisition, then there isn't a company in this space that should interest you. You should run far far away to a completely different sector
When discussing an acquisition, the value of the shares at the time it was purchased is how it is calculated and discussed in the future.
For example you would say eBay bought PayPal for $1.5 billion in stock - not bought PayPal for today's market cap of $63 billion....
Right - but at the time those shares were only worth $61 million....
I'll give you a hint..... less than $70 mil
Lol do you know how much the bedrocan acquisition cost? Any idea what they would be worth solo today?
Cool that's a great plan too, I would hang out around those smart people on those boards ;)

To be the worldwide leader in medical & recreational marijuana and marijuana products in terms of production, distribution, research and innovation.
Only in a weed stock forum would horse running in circles give indicators of how to live life....stoners gonna stone ;)
I just follow their updates on the tweed Main Street Facebook page
https://www.facebook.com/TweedMainStreet/
Essentially we had supply shortages part of Q1, so when 4 strains get added then that is always a good thing. DNA sour kush will prob be a hot one the next 48 hours. Fun to see the order numbers is all.
3 sun grown strains from tweed just added in the last 15 minutes, prob more coming on
"It is also taking steps to update its ACMPR application with Health Canada to include Canopy Growth as the company's sole client."
Gotcha, just could've swore the sector was bleeding before Wheaton & Rivers existed. I guess those 2 announcements stopped the spring bill run we were on, bummer
Gotcha so are Bruce and chuck & rivers the reasons all of the LP's are tumbling?
Thank god they don't have it, it's saving them tons of money!
Haha it doesn't get more two faced than that.....seriously had to read over and over for laughs after another red day
Because they have chosen a large platform to build out and scale up for recreational and international growth that exceeds current revenues....isn't that pretty obvious? I mean it's not like $10 mil last quarter goes towards a call center and some growers haha
Haha literally the landscape of the industry changed and I'm glad we can shift gears on the fly and stay in growth mode. Why are you here? To be a hero? Lol
That was prior to rec legalization passing...an obvious game changer
No, they gave tweed an early license. The rest they've had to earn and grow into their own - and became canopy growth corp. maybe you should look into them.
https://www.canopygrowth.com
How many quarters ago was canopy doing just $1-$2 mil in Canada? I've been here since $zero, so from experience that initially climb is quite swift for the big players
That doesn't help his argument of course he would leave it out
Will be happy if mettrum gets half of that though this reporting Q with the recall - but certainly points to a bright outlook
I've been taking notes on how you respond to positive information, figured you would like it
Nice shout out for tweedmainstreet w/13 products available at the moment, including CBD
Nice 15% bounce, much needed
Is this an end of the month trend historically?
Lol you know someone is about six years old going on five when they use the "tweed for dweebs" punchline.
Excellent counter bud
Enjoying that rumor
My point is that your opinions on the industry are so closed minded that your basically betting on the lowest cost producing outdoor farm. No care for branding, for product differentiation, for international appeal or vision of the future and what the industry will look like in 3, 5, 10+ years. Literally all that matters to you is COGS....so just keep beating your head against a wall in this forum because the longs don't share your tunnel vision. COGS is only one metric and there are many other factors that will propel these companies through legalization, including being innovative & strategic.
We may not be the next coke or Pepsi but I'll settle on a Monster or Heineken too.
Trivia: name one successful consumer health, beverage, alcohol or tobacco stock with a $20 billion or larger market cap that doesn't have a marketable brand.....
Costco can make cheap soda, should coke and Pepsi be worried? Tastes identical
Whales buying while retail sells

Bears can be so cryptic...or are they not being cryptic?
Good move on the surface, probably the only theory that nobody had!
The best line in the PR though:
"Total shares of Aurora being issued over 3 years represent less than 2% of total shares outstanding"
Should have an additional sentence after:
"because we have already issued so many shares, shareholders won't even notice another few million hitting the books."
Friday afternoon news is traditionally not good news....hopefully they surprise people
Yup many people at the time, Including a troll on this board right now, felt that mettrum was the #2/#3 player in the LP space behind canopy. Looking at the market caps of the #2/#3 players now - $400 mil is a steal. Will pay off in the long game.
