I recall reading on this board that patients had to sign non-disclosure agreements as a condition of being accepted into the trials. However, positive anecdotes have leaked out from family members confirming at least some of Ms. Powers' PowerPoint slides.
Waiting for FDA approvel is like reading War and Peace. I hope we hear something positive from them regarding L before the end of March. GL.
The lady who stated that cancer vaccines hadn't experienced much efficacy in the past was immediately corrected by the gentleman who recently conducted an analysis of several cancer vaccine trials since 1990. He stated that not only are they extremely safe, but that cancer vaccines have shown considerable promise on the whole.
Adam F, you are a self-proclaimed enemy of NWBO, a proven, that's right, proven, healer of very sick people. As the holiday season approaches, I hope you see the light NWBO bears. I am praying for your soul, but not Jim Cramer's. Just kidding, I'm praying for Jim's, too.
Like Mav said, thanks for sharing your resources.
I'm guessing that Woodford won't bail.
Some writers have desribed naked short selling as a type counterfeiting scheme.
It's been said that the results of the double slit experiment in quantum physics are absurd. The only thing they have going for them is the fact that they are true. The electrons were waves, and now they are particles when consciously measured. The important question is why does this occur. If you can ponder the depths of that problem, it may help you get beyond fretting about pps. See the metaphor? Best, V
Turtle, Go to YouTube and search for the "double slit experiment". Please get back to me on your thoughts...
NWBO is still an outstanding long-term investment. Shareholders should continue to rely on Ms. Powers' genius in overcoming the fear, uncertainty, and doubt created by those who short the stock and are desparate for a share price in the 3's so that they can cover and not lose their shirts. The CEO's minimalist approach to PR's, creative arrangement with Cognate, and recent hiring of an independent firm to manage public relations all attest to an effective and efficient business strategy that will reward all stakeholders well.
Joke of the Day
Boy: I'm considering a career in organized crime.
Dad: Government or private sector?
Maybe it's LP's legal background that drives her minimalist approach to corporate communications. She probably realizes how this might adversely affects share price leading up to approval; but in the end, she knows it won't matter to the long longs and the rest of the stakeholders. If anyone is culpable for retail's short-term losses, it's those who publish all the slanderous bs.
Agreed, Larry is a conspiracy realist.
I cannot help but think AF is creating evidence for his possible testimony in a court someday by playing the ignorant card.
They lost when they sold. Many took a hit today, but we haven't lost anything. That's how the stock market works. Regardless of L news, they may have done better with Direct in the pipeline later rather than sell during today's circus. Not sticking around for the outcome of L is a weak move.
That's not fair. If it's not about Turtle, then it can't be about you either.
This won't hurt our cause: SEC Charges Six Firms for Short Selling Violations in Advance of Stock Offerings

Lame? Quite the opposite. Let's not pretend to be naive about what's at stake here. NWBO has taken a wise strategy in the company and long shareholder's best interests. Good luck to you.
The reason is because LP, et al, know all too well that some people, not you of course, will interpret the information wrongly and use it against them. It's frustrating, isn't it? But then again, it's 2015.
I'll see your 625 and raise you 5.
I too will be anteing up at the end of the month.
Let me remind you that many would never presume to understand or know executive management's decisions as they sit down in front of PC screens miles away. A tree fell today. TIMBERRRRR. I get that. But others are incapable of seeing the forest, and so the most they will ever be able to afford is that one tree they relished in seeing fall.
Exactly. Lost opportunities on sp rebounds can dwarf any profits to be gained on these downturns. More power to those who have the skills, but I'll never make that mistake again. To those considering Doc's (GL Doc)) last move: keep you eyes glued to a monitor during the day.
A detailed message was sent to his presidential library.
President Carter needs to be informed about DCVax.
Short selling, legal or naked, will not be able to prevent NWBO's eventual success. Check out "The Economics of Naked Short Selling" from an SEC publication at www.cato.org › regulation › spring-2008. I'll probably wait until 2020 to sell.
Senti - After reading Smith on Stocks' blog today (Illegal Naked Short Selling Appears to Lie at the Heart of an Extensive Stock Manipulation Scheme), I am quite certain that this illegal business will continue until FDA approval. Larry Smith's indepth examination is quite shocking and a must read. Thx for all your truthul contributions.
Good point, but we all agree that cancer vaccines are asynchronous. And like you said, with a six-patient sample, statistical significance can't be had. Cheers.
Great news! Thanks for posting.
I agree. I sure hope a stock buyback is performed instead of or in addition to a reverse split in order to soften the blow to shareholders. Official news of the international bank contract will be most welcome, too.
Thank you very much for your in depth balancing comments. - A biased long.
Hi Pyr, A question from someone new to biotech and the FDA's clinical trials:
As you well know from clinicaltrials.gov, the DCVax-Direct Ph I/II trial design has been designed as follows:
? Primary Outcome Measure.: Adverse events (6 months) ~ safety.
? Secondary Outcome Measure: Tumor Response (18 months) ~ sum of partial and complete responses.
? Other Outcome Measures: # of Patients Surviving AND # of Patients Surviving w/o Tumor Progression (24 months).
If phase II trial results related to the secondary outcome measurement involving ORR and RECIST are borderline or fall short (your recent concerns) but are adaquate related to one of the other outcome measures, is it likely that NWBO will receive the go ahead for Phase III anyway?
Thank you.
I believe NWBO's simultaneous U.S.-European stategy limits Big Pharma's influence on the FDA.
Having a 401k prevents me from feeling like a schmuck. ;)
Some live much longer than the average you reference. I think that hope would attract most who had the means to pay or be reimbursed.
I pulled this information from the clinicaltrials.gov website:
MD Anderson Cancer Center
Recruiting
Houston, Texas, United States, 77030
Contact: Quan Lin 713-792-6073 qdlin@mdanderson.org
Contact: Patient Access Center 713-792-1160
Principal Investigator: Vivek Subbiah, MD
I would advise sending an email in addition to calling the telephone numbers.
You are not alone. My wife is at MD Anderson right now being treated for cervical cancer; however, she wasn't eligible for the Direct trial. I pray that your husband is admitted into the trial and that the DCVax-Direct platform cures all the cancer.
That's right. Investors don't need the FDA (and SEC) to fly staight, but all the American cancer patients do. And the latter is a more important reason for longs not to bail or lose hope due to recent decline in pps. Big pharma execs, hedge fund mrgs, many shorts, etc. are in the businees of attacking good science and deceiving people; however, they are the ones who are being deceived. The irony is astounding.
Very nice. Very very nice.
Remnants of the countless scumbags in Napster's chat rooms.
Depending on the extent of reducing ones position, in a way, selling at this point may require even more risk given the various means by which the stock could substantially increase prior to unknowns being answered.
