I look back at the charts and see those missed opps every day jav...
LMAO!!! Yeah, I really hate 'er sometimes! Stringing me along and taking advantage of me. Nasty thang! LOl....
Yep, I see it, but divergence doesn't always play out for 30 or more pips on the 5 minute chart. I'm just waiting and watching.
LOL......Hope is my best and worst forex friend! She's always leaving me wounded, hurting and depressed.
Hey boca. If it's going to reverse here, you'll be fine imo waiting out the reversal without doubling down. I'm in the same boat being 20 pips down on it and wondering if it'll reverse. I'm not adding. I'm waiting and will add at some new high I suppose. I too should have waited for the 88 fib and then taken a short with a stop set. Now I'm doing what I always do......wait and then eventually lock in losses when price moves away from me by a couple hundred pips.
Ok, UJ is sitting at the 88.6 fib on the prior wave down. Does anyone really think it's going to reverse here?
Where's pennies when you need his input and new daily trade vids??? He's making himself too unavailable for my liking! lol..
I'm thinking the same thing. Start small and add at the 88.6 fib and then again at the 120 fib extension around 80 pips above current price if necessary.
You and me both pileit. I look at chart history and it's obvious why the reversals occured. lol
Well boca, even if we see a new high, it might only be 50 pips above the most recent high on the daily chart before we see a good multi-hundred pip pullback on the daily. Then of course it could move back up and make higher highs based on the weekly chart.. I sure don't know. I see though that the TDI baseline is well above the 68 parameter line on the daily but only just begining to move up off the 50 parameter on the weekly. I think we see a big pullback very soon based on the daily TDI baseline alone, even if we do see a slightly higher high first.
Pileit1......nice job annotating the TDI to show how the TDI waves compare to price action waves. Maybe there's something really significant to be taken from it. Definately worth annotating the TDI waves like that on all pairs all the time to see what we can glean from doing it! I hadn't considered it before.
Now regarding UJ, I would expect some pullback in this 76.8 or 88.6 fib area, but I think we'll see another high on UJ based on the bullish engulfing candle on the daily chart. But that'll depend on whether this currenty daily candle closes as a bullish engulfing candle.
I'd like to read others thoughts too though.
I closed out my long last night for a tiny profit over break even based on the sloping bearish shape to the price action and am glad I did now. I've reentered just a few minutes ago at 1.2394 in hope that the 121 fib extension on the last 4 hour wave up will give a good max low before a bounce occurs allowing for some gains. We have a tweezer bottom on the 15 minute chart and a little bullish divergence on the 15 minute TDI. I'm a bit skittish here, but we'll see.....
Probably a good move pileit1, but I find myself missing out on the bigger move up when I try to guess the 1 minute pops and the pullbacks that follow before the price takes off again. I'll probably regret not taking profits too though...
This looks like a nice bullish engulfing candle to me on the 1 hour chart. Everyone agree? Are we good now or was that just a headfake and the old bearish trend returns on the next candle? There's no bullish engulfing candle on the 4 hour chart yet so unless we break 1.2466 then I'm assuming this is just a slight pullback on the way down to the 88.6 fib on the 1 and 4 hour wave chart.
Yeah I think I'll prove early as well. We'll see if the 78.6 or 88.6 fib provides the reversal if we don't see it here.
I'm long EA with you guys here at 1.2443 and if I'm early then I'll double down at the 88.6 fib level on the 1 hour chart if given the opportunity.
Sounds good. Just waiting and watching.
That break of the 5 minute TDI and price trendline has me thinking it's not going to make that bounce yet....
I see an inverse H&S pattern on the 1 hour TDI boca. I just missed out on a good 25 pip bounce based on a TDI/TRIX pinch on the 15 minute chart, but maybe it has more bounce left in it. I don't know. I'm just going to watch it and see what pennies might have to say about UJ here.
It looks just as the "pressure cooker" chart appeared that you made your vid from.
No......at this point I would just add somewhere below on the 4 hour chart at a new low some 80 or more pips below probably.
It did appear to be the "pressure cooker" setup. Just wasn't sure how much the price might drop before the setup was made null.
I'll bet you're right. Good of you to point that out.
Right, that's what I was going by. I missed his other EA post.
Thanks estimator. I missed it. Need to pay closer attention. I think I'm good here though since I'm not in heavy and will probably get a chance to unload and reload anyway considering price action here.
Ah......well he did say he might be early. Well I'm a bit early too then it seems. Goody. lol
His EA long that he posted earlier this am.
I had the adobe flash but when I downloaded firefox, it must have uninstalled the flash because all that was in my files was adobe reader. I'll pursue after this trade is closed. I'm just wondering how low pennies is willing to let it go against him before he decides the TDI setup is a failed one.
Pennies......did you have a stop in place on this EA long trade?
Thanks for that stargate! I'll try downloading it again then once this trade is closed out and I don't need my charts up.
Hey pennies.....with the TDI fast line passing down through the TDI trendline you have drawn, it's still a good trade potentially? The slow red line is curling so the fast line isn't key but the slow line is? Long here with you on EA btw..
Looking forward to it! Thank you! eom
Not to be a nuisance pennies, but how close are you to being able to do that vid on SG's fib chart trade method? I'm really biting at the bit to get started using it.
Really......and did you make any settings changes to allow youtube flash vids to play?
Ok, well I'm going to have to lose firefox it seems, just to be able watch your vids, so I'll change over to Chrome now...
I was afraid you were going to say that. So tell me this. Does Chrome do as good or better a job of keeping out the pop-ups and makng for a very fast page reload with this website of SG's, which IE made so slow and miserable to visit and go through?
Hey pennies........I just tried to watch your 88.6 fib vid but firefox wouldn't let it play, and that vid redirect page gave me a redirect button to push to download the plug to be able to watch flash vids. Unfortunately when I tried to download adobe flash I got a message window telling me that the download process would begin when I closed firefox. Does that mean just closing all my firefox windows or removing it from my computer?
Alright charger. I think I have figured out most of your settings here and have my chart set the way I want it. I'm going to spend some time with it applying it with the other chart setups like the TDI setups and SGs fib setup (if I can ever figure that out either on my own or with pennies help in vid form). No one indicator or setup is perfect but the TDI has high odd success rates and apparantly SG's method of trading does too. Anyway, with as much added info as possible, it might be easier to nail these reversals on all time frames far more often than not.
Thanks for your time. Don't be a stranger here on SG's board.
I stayed out. No conviction either way. Good night to you estimator. I'm staying up till I figure out chargers pincher setup....
It's right on support here and price action makes me think it's going to move lower to next support at 91.10.
