When considering the airpods max ball joint, remember that the max is charged via a lightning port—not wireless. So at least one cable must run through this joint on each side of the headphone. This would make the wall of the joint even thinner. I don’t think stainless would work in this spec.
Exactly
Yet another aliass.
Yeah that was full on BS. Stupid
It can’t be stainless steel. It is Too thin, plus the airpods max charge via a lightning cable—so a wire has to run thru the mechanism—making it even thinner structurally. The zyris housing was not “functional”, it was structural. This is functional. Now we see the reason for the debt securities.
Crazy...
Apple airpods Max!! “Revolutionary mechanism”
“Each ear cup attaches to the headband through a revolutionary mechanism that balances and distributes ear cup pressure, and allows it to independently pivot and rotate to fit the unique contours of a user’s head.”
Earlier this year, Bloomberg described AirPods Studio as headphones with “a retro look with oval-shaped ear cups that swivel and a headband connected by thin, metal arms.”
“headband connected by thin, metal arms. The arms stem from the top of the ear cups rather than the sides, the people added. They asked not to be identified discussing products that haven’t been announced.”
No post for you!!!!

You’re exactly right! Thanks!
Great point! Thanks for the insight!
Exactly, FACT!
Thank you. Would any of these ever seem transparent to an x-ray?
Question: how do liquidmetal, aluminum, and stainless steel show up in an x-ray?
Help greatly appreciated!
