martin guitar to introduce all-new modern deluxe series at 2019 winter namm
NAZARETH, Pa. (Winter NAMM, HALL D Booth 5602) – January 7, 2019 – C. F. Martin & Co.® (Martin Guitar) will introduce their brand-new Modern Deluxe Series at Winter NAMM in Anaheim, California, January 24-27, 2019. The new series combines sophistication and performance to create a truly unique playing experience.
The Modern Deluxe Series is offered in four styles: D-18, D-28, 000-28, and OM-28. Each model is packed with custom features and modern technology that you have to see, feel, and hear for yourself.
“Our goal has always been to make the best guitars and strings possible,” said Chris Martin, Chairman and CEO. “We are thrilled with the positive feedback we are getting on these instruments, and we hope you’ll give them a try for yourself.”
The vintage appointments offered in the Modern Deluxe Series include a Sitka spruce Vintage Tone System (VTS) top, VTS Adirondack spruce braces, a dovetail neck joint, and natural protein glue construction. All of these features together produce the rich, fully aged Martin tone that has inspired generations.
The sound isn’t the only thing that will turn heads with the Modern Deluxe in your hands. The 28-style guitars feature East Indian rosewood back and sides with a contrasting flamed maple binding, while the 18-style features genuine mahogany back and sides with contrasting East Indian rosewood binding. All four models feature stylish gold frets, gold open-gear tuners, and a gorgeous, pearl inlaid, 1930s style script logo on the headstock.
One of the ultra-modern features that is new to this series is a two-way titanium truss rod, which makes the neck super easy to adjust, and it is 64% lighter than a traditional truss rod. The models also feature Liquidmetal® red dot bridge pins and a composite carbon fiber bridge plate that increase the volume without adding weight.
One of the most exciting features is a brand-new neck shape that was designed just for the Modern Deluxe Series. The shape has an ultra-low profile, and it is slightly asymmetrical for maximum hand comfort up and down the fretboard.
With all of these features combined in one series, Modern Deluxe stands apart from anything in Martin’s production line to date. With these guitars, sophistication and performance come standard.

Again only two countries in 50 in Europe have expressed concern about Huawei.
Furthermore, there is one major geo-political problem ignored in your projection.
Europe and its leaders as a whole have a huge disdain for Trump and his policies. Here is a nice article explaining:
https://www.the-american-interest.com/2018/06/05/the-trump-effect-in-europe/
This is no trap. I think by 4th Quarter report we will most likely be back into the 0.40s again.
Only this time we have concrete news of Liquidmetal BEING USED in MANY HUGE CE companies. Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo, just to name a few!
This is the first time we have had this type of hard evidence for our product being used in CE world.
Time to get in now at 0.13 or probably 0.40s in a few weeks!!
“How bout this for the cherry on top?
https://www.engadget.com/2018/08/30/huawei-honor-magic-2-ifa-2018/
Slider phone number will require BMG Face ID bracket for extreme precision.
This is done in Oppo Find-X and Lugee has demonstrated the exact bracket. Check my post.
https://www.hihonor.com/global/news/honor-magic2-officially-unveiled-in-china/
https://www.hihonor.com/global/news/honor-stuns-with-150--growth-in-international-sales-in-h1-2018/ “
INDEED, THIS IS A VERY NICE CHERRY ON TOP.
Case in point is those who didn’t buy in at 0.11 can now buy in higher.
Looks like 0.11 was the bottom buy in price.
Sorry to those that missed it!!!
Only Two countries out of 50 in Europe have expressed concern about Huawei. In addition, all major carriers in Canada currently carry Huawei smart phones.
Neither Canada, nor Europe has ever followed suit of what America does Amigo! Especially now that Trump is President!!!! Canadians and Europeans can't stand Trump or American policies.
I doubt it Amigo!
“I want to buy more, but think the price will be going down in a few weeks.”
Good luck in waiting for this to go down, but it’s probable you have missed a lower entry point for good.
I don’t see this just as a pump, but the market responding to great news!!!
Huawei surpasses Apple in smartphone sales. This was before Apple announcement of 15% decrease in China.
https://qz.com/1345496/apple-was-just-overtaken-by-huawei-in-global-smartphone-sales/
Liquidmetal HK owns 46% of Liquidmetal LF.
Wow if this isn’t a reason for Liquidmetal HK to ensure Liquidmetal LF is recipient of major revenue, I don’t know what is.
This seems to blow a huge hole in your theory!
Because Eontec reported it is supplying BMG parts To Huawei, and articles are being released indicating a Liquidmetal middle frame for the P30 made by Huawei.
Huawei is predicting they will sell 200 million phones worldwide and currently sells more phones in Europe than Apple.
Remember, Europe is Liquidmetal LF domain!
Excellent and factual response Joshua!
Thanks for all your DD!
This ain’t no fantasy driven hint.
Huawei and Xiaomi are both using BMG parts, confirmed by Eontec.
Huawei has recently surpassed Apple as the second largest producing cell phone companies in the world.
Huawei is predicting to sell 200 million phones in 2019.
Xiaomi is predicting to sell 160 million phones in 2019.
Both of which Eontec has indicated they are providing BMG parts for phones.
Our cut will be more than pig scraps amigo!
Li never intended for Liquidmetal to run independently for its revenues. Thus the maze!!
Do a google search, it’s all over the internet Amigo!
Pig scrap medical will not get us to NASDAQ little miss pig scraps.
But enjoy our rise to fame from CE!
Huawei sells more phones in Europe alone than Apple (15% of the market).
It is predicted that P30 with Liquidmetal middle frame will be distributed to Europe, Canada, other parts of North America by March 2019.
This ain’t pig scrap revenues coming our way amigo!
Where are all the medical pig scraps that you keep taunting AMIGO?
“IMHO”
Thanks for sharing your “IMHO”.
Sorry Li said CE would put Liquidmetal on the map.
He didn’t invest for pig scraps!
Better load up before we are back to 0.20!
Joshua, your prediction of CE being the primary way forward for Li Liquidmetal was prophetic.
It appears from this recent news that CE will indeed be Liquidmetals path into global commercialization.
Once we get a confirmation of a revenue stream coming our way, this should put to rest all doubters who were looking to pig scrap dental, Martin, and others for our big debut!
What I am interested in seeing is Huawei, Oppo, Xiaomi revenue come our way in reference to Joshua’s recent posts. These are huge CE companies that will have an impact in Liquidmetal LF if Li is who we think he is.
Apple has nothing concrete to look at right now for Liquidmetal revenue.
Maybe if Apple decides to use Liquidmetal to correct their bendgate f*ckups, we might see something in revenue for 2020. But Cook is an idiot, so don’t count on it!
Looking forward to 4th Quarter 2018 report, I hope.
Dam, so now cook is mixing in cheap plastic with aluminum to make iPad frame, and he has a huge bendgate problem on his hands again!
How much money is this guy going to lose for Apple before he gets a clue?
They should fire his arse and hire another Steve Jobs like CEO!
Either way they are going to come begging to Lugee Li and Liquidmetal for use of our BMG for anything 5G, and will now have to pay top dollar.
“Furthermore you forget Li has 410 million reasons to make sure revenue comes Liquidmetals way. And if he wants to sell to Europe, Canada, North America, Mexico he has to do it THROUGH Liquidmetal LF! “
I appreciate your attempt to down play the importance of these facts.
But dam to say this is just a little better than the lotto is just plain nearsighted!!
“nothing except income on the balance sheet can cause a run now. Let's all pray/chant/sacrifice-chickens for that.”
If you believe that you know nothing about LQMT!!
Or we could be at the wolf who cried jack stage!
It’s more false news that has nothing to do with Liquidmetal.
It’s false information. there is nothing on apple.com indicating plastic and aluminum for the iPad.
That is still not clear jack.
The PLA does not apply the same way to the 106c and new machines that were made in joint partnership between Liquidmetal LF and Eontec.
So it is possible we could get a cut even from products delivered to Asia!
I’m thinking Lugee has good reason to see that we do.
4Q report will either confirm this or be a death blow to our share price!
We are all wishing for the former!
There is absolutely nothing on apple.com indicating the new iPads are made from aluminum and plastic. This is totally false information amigo!
“The revelation of the maze
was the wrench in the works for me.”
You forget the number one hindrance to Liquidmetal success has been the inability to mass produce.
The maze in my estimation is the answer to the above problem, and to me gets us in a position for mass global production. This is no wrench amigo. It is the SOLUTION TO OUT PLIGHT.
The recent news of Hauwei, Oppo, etc and ability to mass produce BMG parts for them now testifies that the problem is now solved by Li.
Furthermore you forget Li has 410 million reasons to make sure revenue comes Liquidmetals way. And if he wants to sell to Europe, Canada, North America, Mexico he has to do it THROUGH Liquidmetal LF!
It’s amazing that Apple who invested big time into Liquidmetal with R&D was never able to come up with cheaper alloy and machines for Liquidmetal.
NOW other CE companies like Huawei who put no money into R&D reap the benefits from Li-Liquidmetal alloy and machines, while leaving Apple in the dust.
Looks like if Apple wants a piece of the Liquidmetal pie for their products, especially 5G, they are now going to have to pay big bucks to Li Liquidmetal!
Good for Li for not signing some exclusivity deal with Apple.
Looks like Liquidmetal is expanding fast into the CE global market just as Li said from the beginning.
An amazing turn around headed into 2019!
Here’s another clue:
“In addition, the P30 will use the liquid metal middle frame for the first time.”
Here’s a few clues
“Not only small products have matured mass production, BUT ALSO has the production capacity of large-scale molding products.”
“The company produces liquid metal Face ID bracket, Camera module products have been to Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo and other well-known domestic mobile phone manufacturers BULK SUPPLY.
Well, I’m encouraged again by the recent news of Huawei, Xiaomi, and Oppo.
And, at least we are headed in the right direction with a 7% gain today.
But we have a long way to go to make up for what the locust ate when it was 0.44.
Maybe with the current news from Eontec, more will start buying into Liquidmetal in expectation of a significant 4Q report.
“The company produces liquid metal Face ID bracket, Camera module products have been to Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo and other well-known domestic mobile phone manufacturers bulk supply.
Thank you!”
Not just Huawei, but also manufacturing in bulk supply for Xiaomi, Oppo, and others.
Finally some encouraging news!
My question was about impact on EONTEC.
