the stock price has been hovering in the 24s as of late. which also includes the day before the call. From my experience there are investors that always seem to know when there is a positive catalyst coming, egging the share price higher. because the price is down today, and because the price could not hold yesterdays gain, makes me believe the call might just be future consideration on which way the companies heading. No hint of an immediate rise and hold pattern. just my take. hopefully i can be proven wrong with my experience.

I recall rida having to go through a panel of voters, prior to going before the fda approval/disapprove grant. Did pona already go through that pre panel of votes or are they skipping and going straight to the fda?

News with 113 was positive over the weekend. Many upgrades since. Yet we find the stock price slightly under Fridays close. No real lift off...Feels almost like early December 2011, when the stock price was reacting odd. Only to find out that an offering was in the works. Does anyone else feel this maybe the case with the reaction towards pps not climbing?

even if he's not, he will be sooner than latter. As most, if not all here are longs to some decree, patience is a virtue. we are at a time where the drugs being developed are much closer to being realized, than a few years ago. At this point, with continued success in development, the incline should continue more rapidly between now and a few years from now.

Does anyone here think that with good news on the horizon( and with the share price holding above $20.), that a possible offering may coincide with such an event? Does Harvey/ariad need to raise more money at this point to keep trials going? or do they have enough cash on hand until after a possible launch of pona? which could provide cash flow back to the company, for continued trials and developments.

Even if someone such as Harvey himself decided to sell some shares would it be a shocker? Investors do it all the time, when needing to pay for some expense. Someone like Harvey could feel the need to free up some cash to buy property for himself or his kids. Don't think we would need to jump to conclusions. Unless he or other insiders decide to free up a majority of their position.

Also being a potential life saving co. I would say ego as a large part for him not wanting to sell. Even mark z. Did not want to sell f.b. For a personal gain of 4 billion!...ego's

from what you guys are stating, I'm thinking that $60 is doable in the near term. imagine if the time comes when both pona and 113 have been approved and are being regularly used for treatment in front lines? who knows how high the price could go! Harvey might consider that before selling under a $100 to big pharma.

Wasn't aware of Scott matusow, upon reading this recent article of his. But would like to know if you agree with my comments towards his post .

i read the piece scott matusow had on ariad. He mentioned to expect a run up the rest of the year. upon the likelihood of an fda approval with ponatnib, what should follow is the big selloff.
Although I tend to agree with the selloff part, I do think that the sell off will be short lived. if 113 shows early promise before pona approval, once that approval for pona is accepted by the fda, it will literally be the game changer for ariad! There will be cash flow to fund other potential blockbuster drugs in development (which they do have!). But maybe more importantly for the stock price to rebound quickly from an initial selloff is, having secured fda approval, it will most likely grab the attention of big pharmas. With just the speculation of those companies wanting ariads technology, the price should propel substantially higher than what will be achieved (hopefully) from an fda approval of pona.

ironic how the "baby steps" with the stock prices movement recently, would have been considered a major break out not that long ago.

seems with the near term news/updates surrounding this company, we are currently in a baby steps pattern.

As institutions such as barklays increase their price targets from 20. To 25., is that figure for where they think the price should be today, in the very near future, or one year from now?

Aw man, I hope you don't decide to sell just yet. So what that it didnt have the explosion you thought it would today. Doesnt mean that it wont eventually get to where you want it to be. Hang in there!

The recent posts with all the technical analysts of what could be transpiring within ariad, is one reason im gratefull for owning this stock.

Imo, i find it amazing as to how predictable the graph trend for ariad has been, these past months. To bad for me, im no day trader. Would like to see something happen so we break free from the norm, which seems obvious for even me.

That's a pretty significant jump for phase 1 update. regardless if the stock was in the dollar range. Does phase 1 usually signify that the drug will be successfull in some capacity?

Does anyone here remember the initial boost, if any,in the stock price, after phase 1 updates of pona?

have been since 2008. Still learning. observing. there have been times when i dismissed owning this stock. Not paid to much attention to it, after first purchasing some. Now, I watch it proficiently. I am pleasantly surprised of where its share price is today, opposed to where my average buy in is. and to think that i purchased it with the money i made from a severance package I earned, when the company i worked for decided to shut their doors.
After quite a bit of failed penny stock investments, i guess, so far, i made one right choice?

I do have an idea about that. But in order to get a pop from aria similar as to what happened to alny yesterday, is that more of an unannounced update? Thats what I'm getting at.

so if its a scheduled update, should we be concerned if the stock price doesn't start moving upward in the days before the announcement? Could what they update us on really be that secretive if the news is favorable? From my experience, scheduled updates don't normally amount to any real price jump. Its the unannounced updates that can hit a home run! was alny announcement yesterday scheduled?

Do you think an update about 113 will be a pre-scheduled announcement, or a randomly out of the blue update?
