6-11-14 5:07PM Apology
6-11-14 5:14PM Vulgar/vile personal attack on the very same
person
Yup. That's a sincere apology for sure.
Oh, I see. You were referring to the type of normal human conduct that we mandate around here. I was thinking more along the lines of maybe a sincere apology to the victim(s) of your vile personal attacks. That's probably too much to expect.
What good behavior would that be? We're all waiting for you to display some of that here.
Your release information is listed on your profile page.
See sticky note #5 at the top of this board.
Today's lesson on cause and effect...
Cause: One member threatens another with physical harm.
Effect: Suspension of medium duration.
Unsolicited advice...
It would be extremely unwise to ever do it again.
You're welcome.
You really don't want to know.
Have an epiphany, did ya?
I'm afraid it ain't lookin' too good here, partner. Looks like Dan bagged you for 60 days. Now, you probably don't know much about Dan. He's sort of the father figure around here. Older than me, even (sorry Dan, but it's true). He usually just pats everybody on the head and tells them to get along and behave from now on. So, if you pissed him off enough to make him throw you in here for 60 days, you're likely to stay thrown in here for 60 days. Sorry.
It should not be this difficult to understand that that only acceptable topic here is USTC. Other posters, site rules, deletions, sanctions, etc. are off topic. The deletions here are ridiculous. If you choose to continue down this road and post messages with off topic content and/or personal attacks you can expect deletions and subsequent posting restrictions.
Do not reply to this post as such replies would be off topic as well.
Here ya go...
There have already been a couple of posting restrictions on this board today and the list is about to grow longer. The topic here is NYBD, not other posters, not the mods, not your deleted posts, etc. If you choose to ignore the rules for posting you can expect your name to be added to the restricted list or worse.
Please do not reply to this post as such replies would be off topic as well.
OK folks. This trip/vacation that you seem to be planning is off topic and has reached a point where it is truly disruptive. It was allowed over the weekend because those are off market hours. Going forward you will have to confine this discussion to off market hours or your posts will be removed.
Please do not reply to this post.
There may be a lot but I think there are more fish. There's a head scratcher fer ya.
So your perfectly OK with people using the feature to send nasty grams
Is this really what you gleaned from my post?
Question for you then, when I block someone from being able to send me private messages will they then be notified that they aren't able to send and that I have blocked them?
Yes.
You probably just forgot about receiving this a couple months ago. Right?
Posting or referring to the contents of private messages without the author's prior consent is considered a violation of privacy and can get you suspended or terminated from the site. Please don't do this again.
If you are getting unwelcome Private Messages, click on the link at the bottom of the PM that says "Block User's Private Messages".
"Violation of Privacy – posting of what the member believes to be any personally identifiable information (email, real name, phone, address, etc.) about another User or posting the contents of a private message. For example, if a Member posts that "XYZDownDaDrain is actually Bob Smith", whether the information is accurate is a moot point. The Member was trying to disclose personal information. Posting or referring to the contents of private messages without the author's prior consent is considered a violation of privacy and can get you suspended or terminated from the site."

Your release date and time are listed on your profile page.
You would have us do something for which we are neither equipped nor qualified. Each poster must make a determination as to the veracity of user posted content and, based upon that determination, either debate or ignore it.
Really? You don't suppose it had anything to do with posting about the sexual proclivities of a certain class of people? That would have been my guess as to why you might be here. Real high brow stuff that was.
That would explain a lot.
You've seen this before:
Violation of Privacy
Posting or referring to the contents of private messages without the author's prior consent is considered a violation of privacy and can get the User suspended or terminated from the site.
Here, again, is the warning you received. It's the one you made a conscious decision to ignore.
Please see the information in the link below re: violations of privacy:
ihwiki.advfn.com/index.php?title=Handbook#Deletion_of_Posts
Privacy violations are taken very seriously and can lead to sanctions including termination. Please don't do this again.
We would all be eternally grateful if you could point out the part that says "You can ignore this warning if the violation of privacy is contained within a dispatch from the company". Simply put, no such exemption exists.
We do not control what ignorant company officers place in their extremely misguided press releases. We do review messages that are brought to our attention here, remove those with content that violates the site's rules and impose sanctions as appropriate. No one, including those company officers, gets a free pass on the rules here and you would be well advised to pay attention if/when you receive a similar Admin warning in the future.
Next time I will think before I post and be more mature.
And we are left to wonder why this epiphany didn't kick in as soon as you were warned about privacy violations.
You are here because of a privacy violation and you get out when the date and time listed on your profile page arrives.
That's enough nonsense here. The topic of the board is the company. It really is that simple. Get back on topic now because postings sanctions are about to begin.
Do not reply to this message as such replies would be off topic as well.
Your release date and time are listed on your profile page.
You and nearly everyone else who tries it. Time...practice...patience. You'll catch more fish.
Thanks. Brown trout.
EGAD! Yet another free speech aficionado. It's a private site. It has rules. You don't like them. Tough.
For those of you who think the moderator is the appropriate topic for this board, I can assure you he/she is not. Nor are deleted messages, sanctions, other boards, other posters or anything other than SVFC.
Get back on topic (SVFC) right now because sanctions are right around the corner.
Do not reply to this message as such replies would be deemed off topic, as well.
Take a long, hard look at your most recent deletion.
Thanks.
Try asking that one here:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/NEWBIES-BOARD-23086/
Your "swear words" are better described as vulgar epithets and you can thank your lucky stars you were only suspended for five days.
Huh?
The simple answer to your question is "no" because generalities such as "should all post relating to that PR be considered on topic?" simply do not work here. That said, it would seem that such a press release would be considered on topic on either company's board and should not be deleted absent other content that violates the rules for this site.
