It's extremely nice to hear Lord Fraser speak to the world. As one of his minions, hearing him speak, warms the cockles.
Hail Lord Fraser!!
RUMBLED!!!!
Sorry but I never suggested we had funding but the possibility of funding in the future. So no records as of yet
What I like about this is that the Lady in the video Allison Barrie, was also the author of the following posted by Buscah I believe. She does not mention KBLB but she makes the link by mentioning the PNAS publication and UOW:
http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2012/01/12/is-spider-man-body-armor-finally-within-reach/
I like Allison
Does anybody think that there is a possibility that there is a valid reason why the video is cut before she talks about silkworms producing spidersilk? Could it be that there is a necessity for silence before a commercial deal is signed with a customer who wants exclusivity? (which often happens)
Then again why would Fox News play to that tune? If they had a news story, why would they bother cutting the video just when it was getting to the interesting part? It's not like they themselves have an obligation to keep things quiet??!!
Now (stay with me) let's imagine that KBLB has a (currently anonymous) customer lined up that is demanding exclusivity. Let's also imagine that that customer is none other than the US Defence Department??? We all know that news agencies such as Fox jump whenever the US Defence Dept tells them to.
Just thinking/dreaming/wanting/wishing out loud here ha ha.............
Good weekend all, no negative waves...........
Ha ha ha
I just did a little wee in my pants watching that video.
I watched it fine on my phone.
BP your empathetic nature must be comforting to the more impatient among us ha ha
Same old same old!
(the tentatively scheduled conference call is later than people would have liked and people are getting antsy and impatient)
There's those negative waves again.....................
If I thought it would contain anything of interest I would happily buy it and share with the board. However we all know that our financials (which this report is based almost solely on) do not make good reading for the sole reason that we have had no revs yet.
An analysis of this report would ensure the board were further perpetuated with an abundance of negative waves!.
Oddball
If Kim had any interest in illegitimately taking money out of the company then don't you think he'd have done so before now? His share count gives him a current worth of $30m+.
What do you think he was getting paid before he put his life (and probably savings) into KBLB? He was already pretty successful pre-KBLB. I have no issue with his remuneration whatsoever.
Regarding the admin costs, who knows the minute details but it seems pretty damn cheap to me. In fact EVERYTHING he does seems to be done on the cheap. I LOVE IT.
You seriously believe this is solely Kim's own opinion and nothing else?
I am lost for words.............not even worth debating
Oh dear I didn't read the whole way through. I love the intent but the typos need sorting asap and I'm not sure I'm into the 'happy happy tranquil indulgent silkworm' snippet at the end............
I've emailed Ben already regarding the typos
Now THAT is something new, not just in as far as the content but the speed in which the website was updated.
You can't tell me it is a coincidence that this was posted shortly after it became apparent that people were beginning to get a little bit antsy about the possibility of some crazy ass super-powered spiderworms being unleashed on the world (take a look at plenty of the articles and that is the sort of terminology that people have been using).
I hope this is a sign of things to come. Either way, this is a positive point that no party pooper can refute!
Can I suggest that anybody who comes across any rather ignorant scare-mongering at the bottom of these news articles regarding escapees, simply posts the link to the comment box. This will have the double effect of eliminating the wild speculation plus inadvertently pointing people to our website (some websites don't allow any kind of blatant stock promoting)
www.kraiglabs.com/Silkworms-Spider-Silk.htm
KB you are a machine!
Ha ha ha
I often wonder what will happen at some point in the near future when a commercialisation deal has been penned and the company starts seeing revs. When what has been announced thus far becomes a tangible reality and the share price starts to rocket.
There will undoubtedly be a few contributors (term used loosely for want of a more 'acceptable' one) who will be clutching at ever more scarce straws in their aim of painting a negative light on this stock.
If it were me I would scurry away, never to be seen again as a result of the total and absolute embarrassment that would result.
lol..get real...he will answer what questions he feels like answering and wont what he doesnt no matter how important they are to you...
Ha ha good old ZF really does go off at times!
Sleep Zinc, sleep!
Hello Champ,
I am on my iPhone so can't see the ibox right now to check your update. What I do know is he is listed as staff in the Biology dept at USU. I will forward the link when I get back to the office shortly. I was hoping for some sort of bio also that you could have used in the ibox but there is nothing more than the usual contact details etc......
To the moderators.........
On the ibox, just noticed it talks of Randy Lewis being at the University of Wyoming but I believe he is now with Utah State. Not sure of when he moved but I believe it was over 12 months ago. If I can find any specific details I will post.............
On Level 2..............
Anybody have any decent recommendations/pointers on a decent level 2 service? I am currently with Zecco and have no level 2. Willing to pay for a decent service. Anybody use the ihub one? I trade with Zecco.................
Thanks in advance
Mojo is 100% correct. This guy is Korean. All three (YSK) names are Korean, Kim being the most common family name in Korea. Definitely not Chinese. For the record Bong-hee Sohn is a Korean name also.
Sorry Saint but I would have to disagree also. I consider myself to predominantly be an investor who has a penchant for trading to increase my holding (but admittedly a complete lack of experience in doing so). I don't figure how doing so is trashing the PPS in any way whatsoever. As Bucks said, none of us here has the power to trash the PPS. If you are a true long term investor then the flippers will have negligible effect on the long term INVESTMENT.
The irony is that although I could be accused of having a weak hand (due to the occasional flipping) I would counter this by saying that in the long run, I own much stronger hands than the average. I am in this for the long run, have a core holding and do not intend to sell out until we are well into multiple dollars. I will add that I have never flipped more than about 20% of my holding.
Originally I had no intention to trade whatsoever. This was solely an investment however the more I watch, the more I see missed opportunities. The more shares that make their way into MY hands, the more benefit to both myself and to the long term share price. There will come a time when we are on the big boards and the volatility will have left us. At that time, I will cease to trade as the opportunity will not be as significant. At that time, those KBLB shares will be in STRONG hands.
Good luck to all and Happy New Year. (BTW I am back to being allowed to post at will - sorry dudes ha ha)
It certainly was great Bucks! The finish wasn't as good as the start but I'll take any steady greens available!
Mike I am truly hurt!

One more peeps!
Apologies if already posted.
Happy New Year to all.
P.s I have actual print on my hands from reading this article ;)
Oh my word has the board truly descended to the depths of discussing the fact that the company has paid for Kim's car? What company doesn't do this? This is a new low.
If anything, discussions of this nature go a long way towards convincing me that no matter how hard we try, it's pretty difficult to find real tangible negative issues with the company.
Wow 2012 will be the year that was!!
Good luck all, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I'll be getting on the long road home later today (Tuesday) and will likely be visiting the board very infrequently over the holidays. See you all in 2012!!
You obviously don't read all of the posts. In the past, people have called it (past 6 months) and they have been ridiculed................facts straight
Hello Soj,
IMO a CC is no place to announce news. Its more a forum for simply expanding on news. Anything too long winded to put in the prior PR (I hope).
Good luck all!
I can only hope it was JB2
On to pastures new!
If there was thumbs up 'like' button on ihub, this would have the thumbs up.
Sorry Pedro but your suggestion that Kim should donate a large portion of his shares and all the other stakeholders contribute nothing is...........totally unrealistic and totally unfair to be honest, truly another planet.....
Firstly Kim would never do it and I can not imagine ANY CEO would ever do so either. Kim seems to have been working extremely hard to make this dream come true. Although he isn't quite there yet, he knows more than anybody whether it is going to happen or not. Why should he lose a large slice of what he has worked so hard for? And for what reason? Kim has all the credit he needs at this moment in time. The company does not have an issue with credit so why would he go ahead and throw a load of his on the market? To have cash in the bank? He has a line of credit arranged to take money WHEN he needs it. I mean it's not like he is going to earn much interest on cash in the bank at the moment is it? I'd also be interested to see what throwing 33-99 million shares (10-30%) out onto the market would do to the share price, honestly.
I know you want to see him going out and spending bundles of cash on 'this and that' (maybe a lab or a silk company, something tangible). So do I. But only WHEN it is necessary. At the moment I believe it is premature and advancements in the lab etc. are holding the necessity for such things back.
Obviously people like to get on Kim's back for a number of reasons (mainly to do with things not going as quickly as people would like - here's a thought, I bet things aren't going as quick as Kim would like, of course he wants all the things we do - why wouldn't he???? I mean the thought that people believe he is intentionally holding the company back for whatever reason is absurd) but one thing that nobody can criticise Kim for is for spending money frivolously. The guy is tight as anything with the KBLB bucks and I personally wouldn't want it any other way. Why would I want us paying the bills on a gleaming new lab (for example) if we didn't have the need for those facilities at this juncture????? That'd look really good on the balance sheet wouldn't it????
GLTA long & strong (& fighting back the anticpation for what will be coming to us soon IMHO)
Go Press Conference!
Fatcat I gave you a reason in another post:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=69169051
You didn't respond in any way, am I to assume you agree?
Fatcat,
With all due respect, although I would like to see a PC by Notre Dame, at this juncture I just don't see it happening. I am sure we could all agree that the achievements that we have recently made are of a greater magnitude (in what they will eventually mean to KBLB) than the achievements that were revealed in the Notre Dame PC last year i.e.
September 2010: Monstersilk producing silkworms that are capable of producing silk 80% of the strength of spider silk
November 2011: 7 variations of silkworm and the glorious platform worm that could have innumerable future uses
However as far as achievements by NOTRE DAME, last year's achievements are far greater i.e.
September 2010: The achievement of genetic modifications using their proprietary piggybac transposon, developed by the university itself.
November 2011: The achievement of producing 7 variations of silkworm and the platform worm by using proprietary tools that were wholly developed by a separate party (SIAL).
The latter achievement is mainly attributed to the zincfingers themselves. Kudos on this occasion goes to Sigma Aldrich (or more accurately, Sangamo Biosciences who invented and developed them). As far as the university are concerned, they have provided the personnel that will have probably followed the specific instructions supplied by Sigma Aldrich.
The University are not in the business of shouting from the rooftops "look what we did with somebody else's technology" but are in the business of shouting from the rooftops "look at what we achieved through technology that we researched and developed of our own accord".
Obviously just my opinion...........
Also, obviously the majority of the above is my own assumptions. Apologies to the good Dr Fraser and his team if I appear to be trivialising their fantastic recent achievements!!
Or "fire up the backhole"
Both would have the intended effect.
Mmmmmmm pig
Today, 9 or 10 out of 10
A year ago, 7 out of 10
I also predict King will follow exactly what I say, he always does.
Welcome back from 'nick' Spillmonkey.
Congrats on the wedding!
I love the fact that cleaning the house was part of your 'living the dream' ha ha. My Wife said you are welcome to come and 'live the dream' around our place any time.
Let's be hoping for some good news, I hope those boxers are silk.
Where's good old JB2 today to remind us that there is no news?
