So much for State of the art products that meet or exceed the market's requirements....
Ceres
Sounds like you drank the Koolaid too and you bought the response? Kelly said: "strategic choice to not compete for that order" Huh? Why because the pipeline is full and our manufacturing along with are partner manufacturing is straight out and do not have the cycles for more business?
My guess is the order was not on their radar screen and they just failed to bid on it. If they could have won the award they would take it in a heartbeat because the wins this year can be counted on one hand.
Smart assed comment? Nope - just stating it like it is - L Kelly's spin control is running full bore it seems...
Take care
Greg
You are wrong I post facts here from SEC filings and if you checked my other posts there on the NSTC board it was the same thing. Pardon me for getting a little charged when the stock I bought has gone from $8.40 to $10 in 2 weeks. I would expect the same from you if this stock hit a $1 and you made thousands of $$$$'s
Take care
Greg
One thing OTC didn't say was the stock was worth buying at this point and stated a very weak case to hold the shares. With all their promotional shares they are probably selling.
Tough to promote with no ammunition
Current bid .125....
Greg
No disagreement here - L Kelly has been promising sales for quite some time - Time to deliver!
Cheerleading or Fact?
As they say - GOOD CALL

Here's the whole board for NSTC - you are right. I attach my wagon to a $370M highly profitable company with 35M shares outstanding and am doing just fine thanks
http://messages.yahoo.com/?action=q&board=NSTC
You said: "Look at the chart this stock has always bounced back." It was $.40 in Jan and has gone consistently down since...keep the blind faith
Good luck and take care
Greg
Bill said it: "Greg keep apologizing and justifying. but the bottom line is that the companies future, based on what we now know, is not all that bright.."
And for the many many posts you have here and their content - I stand behind my comments.
Bottom line the truth hurts...grow a thicker skin
Paul
If you put it that way then the shareholders are screwed if they continue this course. The issue as I stated is sales have not taken off when they took out the initial draw (2002?) and the company has not become cash flow positive and based on the current lack of sales will not be in the foreseeable future.
Higher stock prices is the only thing in the shareholders interest. The chart shows different - of course the question is where does the price go from here.
Greg
I know you are not serious - you wouldn't say shat if you had a mouthful or said another way you have never questioned L Kelly and have defended his every action...
You are the ultimate apologist for the company
Paul
The information attempts to validate the type of financing Dutchess provides and why it is not in the shareholders interest. The reason small companies that get financed by Dutchess fail is not because of Dutchess as these type of companies have a high rate of failure period. That said the dilution and the lack of sales and progress forces Dutchess to hedge their bet and play both sides. The price goes nowhere and the cycle of financing with shares repeats itself.
That's the best I can do in 2 minutes or so....
Heel
As Paul said: Think whatever you want -- I don't care anymore.
Ditto
Dutchess
I have said from day 1 - Dutchess is a deal with the devil but unfortunately it is the only option for these undercapitalized high risk OTCBB companies. Creates a ton of dilution and obviously Dutchess is NOT in the business to lose $$ so my opinion as previous posters have stated they both sides short and long to hedge their bets.
From the web: "Dutchess Private Equities today (9/18/02) announced it is re-opening it regulation D hedge fund product after a two years of being closed. "After two successful years with a gain of 23% in 2000 and a gain of 12% this year, we are ready to accept new capital" stated Douglas Leighton, portfolio manager of the fund. The fund invest in PIPE's (Private Investment in Public Equity). In the current market environment, this has been the de-facto standard for a public company to raise money. That has allowed Dutchess to gain a strong foothold in this niche market. The fund does not use leverage and all transactions it enters are always hedged."
Here are some examples where companies decided to opt out of the Dutchess deals....
IBSS Announces Termination of Existing Equity Line of Credit with Dutchess Private Equities Fund, L.P.
COLUMBIA, S.C.--Integrated Business Systems and Services, Inc., ("IBSS"
or the "Company") (OTCBB: IBSS), today announced that it has
terminated its existing equity line of credit with Dutchess Private
Equities Fund, L.P.
George Mendenhall, CEO of IBSS, commented, "For a variety of
business reasons, we elected not to draw down on the Dutchess equity
line of credit and have been exploring alternative sources of capital.
As such, we do not think that it is in the best business interests of
the Company and its shareholders at this time to keep the original
equity line of credit with Dutchess in place."

Maisonette International Enterprises Ltd. Completes Private Placement, Cancels $5 Million Credit Line
April 28, 2005
(OTC:MAEN - News) http://www.maisonetteworld.com a Vancouver based Nevada Holding company with subsidiaries operating predominantly in the e-Commerce and online retailing field in the USA, Canada and Europe (www.mymaisonette.com) , announced today that it has concluded and received funds for a private placement arrangement with a private investment firm for the gross amount of US$500 thousand before legal and advisory fees, and in the process has terminated the US$5 million equity line of credit financing with Boston based Dutchess Private Equities Fund II, LLP, a fund advised by Dutchess Advisors, LLC.
Alain Ghiai, the Company's Chairman commented, "We believe it is in the best interest of the company and our shareholders to terminate this equity line of credit facility and utilize alternative financing methods to execute our business plan. We have successfully closed a half a million dollars private equity line and are in talks with other financial institutions for a better financing facility. As our Company grows and sales increase, the value of our share will increase and the amount of shares required to raise working capital will diminish, this is one of the reasons why we are choosing to go with other financing solutions.
Paul
Dutchess - Bingo you got Bingo!!!!!!
Greg OT
Not me - I am just pleased NSTC is on the run it has been the past week which I mentioned a month or so ago. The stock was oversold and bought much more in the mid - 8's. Highly profitable $370M company with only 35M shares outstanding.
Just stating them as I see'm
Greg
You said market makers walking down the price (conspiracy theory) - they moved the price based on more selling pressure than buying - standard market forces.
Stock rebounds??? Not yet - it just stopped falling and is now at .13 x .135
Pretty simple...
Greg
You said: "The MM's should stop walking down the stock price."
The reason the price is going down is because shareholders are selling. Support at $.13 - nice
Still sticking to the conspiracy theory I see...
$.131 x .135
Another buy opportunity! In his latest communication to selected shareholders did L Kelly announce the company was not going to be operationally profitable as orignally promised for Q3 or are we still on track?
Doug
Thank you for deleting the duplicate messages - the system was down and did not say they went through as they normally do. I think David mentioned the issue. Diversification is needed - one product companies are few and far between.
How you can not blame mgmt for not seeing the issues and changing course is amazing to me.
The war, the Tsunami, Katrina, supplemental budget, budget freeze, competitors bad mouthing us, etc etc - excuses are for weak IMO and many many other companies are thriving in these hard times...
All
Sorry folks problem with the system and did not think the message went through....
Al
You said: "In defense of Kelly Jones, I would remind those questioning his actions or lack thereof, that in the recent past he has made changes and additions in the sales force. Unfortunately, the additions/changes have attained the level of sales most long term investors were looking for."
Some would say L Kelly Jones made the wrong CHOICES when the additions/changes were made in the sales force. Where are the sales? The buck stops with him and therefore there is no defense and IF the products are half as good as they continue to promote them to be mgmt IS the problem.
Some would say....
Yo Heel
David has been waiting 6 yrs - you've been waiting 6 mos - let's see what you say in 2011...
David
The question is not where the price has been but where it is going. With no real news so far in Q3 unless something changes Q3 will dissapoint as well. If you have a very large position with this thinly traded stock you need to take some off the table because if/when it falls below $.10 it will get tougher and tougher to move your shares. You will be happy you sold some at $.14 vs when it is $.08.
It does sound like like you have too many eggs in this very high risk basket...
No one has a crystal ball - my $.02 - your ultimate call obviously
Good luck
Yeah!!!!
Load up the boat - buy on dips - average down - market makers are manipulating the price - shorts are going to get killed they will need to cover soon - no deals have been lost just delayed for a few years but will be closed SOOOOON - stock is extremely undervalued - undiscovered star.....management hasn't sold one share....
I am sure there are other buzzwords....lol
Sound familiar?????
The Conversion - End of Yr Selling
David
As you stated end of year selling and into 2006...ouch!
http://www.virtrasystems.com/downloads/8k_leaseholders_11-12-2004.pdf
From the 12/13/04 press release: "Of 5.06 million shares to be issued, only 215,280 will be immediately free-trading, while over 4.5 million will be locked up for 12-18 months."
Weo
You may just get your wish - .149 x .15
So you're saying the company is writing the excuse letters for this quarter as we speak...
Per Weo - Kramer in the lightning round - SELL SELL SELL SELL
New name?
I think Weo's new name should be Nero - plays the violin while he loses money on his investment and keeps his head in the sand like an Ostrich to the facts...
But now more realistic on expectations: "Frankly, my opinion has changed significantly about Virtra. I no longer have the high expectations I once had."
Robo
I wasn't going to write a thesis on the issue. Your issues need to be addressed as well. I would like to think VTSI should have many of those issues covered from the few shipments they have made.
One month left in Q3 which is expected to be first operational profitable quarter per mgmt.
Happy labor day!
George
You said: "Partnership with Sanmina. Why would a company with 12.2BILLION in sales (2004) even consider to RISK taking
Virtra's simulators into their product offerings?"
What risk? There is NO risk whatsoever? Sanmina did an assessment - can we obtain the components needed and build the product? Does the agreement meet our margin requirements if orders come?
If yes sign the partnership and if orders come the components will then be purchased and the products made and shipped.
No risk for them at all IMHO. I am sure they sign partnerships all the time - some bear fruit and others do not...
Doug
Great Post - atta way to put Paul in his place - LMAO!!!!
Be well
Bylo
More info FYI
Target $12-15. Bottoming after disappointing earnings guidance last quarter. MACD bottoming, stochastic oversold. Some comments from a recent Briefing.com analysis:
The co is expected to grow EPS next year by 30% to $0.91 for a very reasonable p/e of 11.4x. The co is profitable and is expected to post sales of $446 mln next year, up 19% yoy. Also, the stock trades at less than 1x 2005 sales. The co recently hired Ytzhak Edelman as CFO. He was the CFO at Cellcom, Israel's largest cellular operator. This could be seen as a sign of the co's desire to get the stock back on track. The balance sheet is in good shape with $109 mln in cash and a very reasonable LT debt-to-cap ratio of 11%. CIBC recently initiated the stock with an Outperform and $15 tgt, noting that the co is seeing strong demand for its India-based managed lab service, in which it sets up, staffs, and manages R&D departments for software vendors. The firm also notes that the co has entered Europe via M&A and is leveraging its relationships with alliance partners like SAP, MSFT, and BEAS to replicate its Israeli big fish status in several East European countries. Also, Piper Jaffray last month upgraded the stock to Outperform with a $14 tgt. The firm noted that mgmt suggested on its last earnings call that rev growth for the remainder of CY05 would likely be back-end-loaded.

The piece you left out was "A PR about the "improved" Q2 results" - the Q2 results were pathetic.
The next commitment is the company will be operationally profitable for Q3 ending 9/05?
Paul
You said: "I scolded BC."
By what by saying "You really amaze me with your vitriol." - Now that's what I call being taken out to the woodshed!!!!
"Now that OTC Journal, they are an admitted paid pumper." Oh and who pointed that out - certainly not the pumpers and cheerleaders.
One other thing I have mentioned is THE DILUTION - note the stock now trades in tenths of cents versus full cents. There's alot more stock out there and much to chew through.

Yeah leave the selling for Dutchess as the pump is used
You'll fit right in here - pump up the volume - cheerleading is the order of the day.
Barnabus
It happens all the time - SCI has infrastructure to utilize. I am sure they sign partners all the time and if/when orders come they gear up per the specs of the order to produce as required.
