Although not all reporting for qtr ending 3/31 is in, looks like Vanguard doubled up, Blackstone slight increase. On the other side UBS and JPM lightened up substantially. Not a lot to glean from this but will be interested to see how the rest of the holders shake out.

The analyst may have given the congrats....but it was in response to the speaker (whoever it was) claiming victory with the comment something to the effect that 'this was the most successful financing........'
It caught me off guard that this guy was slapping himself on the back for duping the shareholders
No it doesnt change your point. It was a good point and it did offend me and I am highly protective of my sweetheart :)
Its all good.
I am not discounting MNTA in the least, I bought shares last week and am happy to hold long term. Ariad just happens to have an exponentially brighter future and there are a thousand stocks that you could have used to make your point.
Yes the market does suck BTH but I personally think the market is irrelevant for Ariad especially after yesterdays CC...I think we are going to be in a tight trading range filling orders in a gorgeous accumulation streak regardless of overall market production. I can hardly wait for the institutional holdings updates for last quarter....bet they increased substantially. Patience my brother, we win and that is all there is to it.
Stocks like Ariad??.....uhhh I dont know where you came from but Ariad will always run circles around MNTA...I think you need to chalk that up to a bad comparison choice
Looking at the bollinger bands coupled with the 50ema and you start to get a little tingly......this wants to take off really bad.
I have been wanting to ask the big brain the same thing. My guess is that it would be a conflict of interest of some sort...given the 24 hour presence on this board.
So Dew....inquiring minds want to know.
I believe he is...but dont know for sure.
I personally think HB's comments on the SUCCEED trial..."positive data" at ASCO is the single most important statement in the release. Is it "positive" enough for the FDA? I think so
Looking for Kasimov to be the first to raise price target. I also think everyone else wants to hold out for the SUCCEED readout which in my opinion is still the overhang keeping us from $12-$15
A little baffled by the lack of participation in the Q&A.
I was thinking the exact same thing.
I will buy that but it is a rough choice of words in this environment.
"We and our partners are advancing the clinical development of our internally discovered small-molecule drug candidates"
Partners.....thats plural........what up??
"We anticipate that the first two ARIAD-discovered cancer drugs may be on the market and available to cancer patients by late next year."
Not a bad start
our friend glass_half_full goes the glass half empty route.....
I will go with the Pona enrollment update as well with a new date many months earlier than previously stated
I hope it doesnt recover today and then HB drops a beauty PR that drives us through $9 or $10. As a side note, Ariad should be COMPLETELY exempt from market swings with all the "any minute" news that is coming. Odd thing to me is that virtually every down day (or up day for that matter)shows no conviction from a volume reference.
Ya....I see the market is clearly excited about the potential for tomorrow.
I dont think there is any doubt that we will print $6-ish for a few seconds during the inevitable flash bear raid that takes out the stops. Believe a buy order in that area may get executed. I am going to give it a shot on 100 shares as we get closer to the ASCO Rida results just to see.
LOLOL....stop it.
You hit it exactly ron.
That is quite a nugget BTH....I have always thought SUCCEED was a total success. Apparently one of the guys that matter think so too.
Thanks again Dough for the heads up on AMRN. Not selling a share of this one either and will probably pick up more when some of the momentum traders leave us....if that happens.
Congrats,
G$
I'll drink to that!!....matter of fact, the quality of my posts speak to the single malt.....Here's to Ben Nevis, my name-sake.
Unfortunately, moon....that aint the case
Just for my own knowledge....do you spell turd as turd or terd....just curious because we own one.
btw.....for all conspiracy theorists.....somebody has some thoughts on the final readouts for SUCCEED and they are selling off without causing alarm with volume.
The ridiculous part about it is the MFI is way too stable meaning there is some knucklehead taking profit at the worst possible time....for them and not a buyer in sight.
WTF is up with this dog today?? Abstracts out in a month. This ought to be green for the next 20 trading days straight.
Found it on yahoo

Just keep in mind that the ASCO run will probably be very strong but there is an entire momentum culture out there that will leave the stock before the actual presentation. So, yes I agree about $10 and that easily could be significantly lower (8-9 bucks) just prior to results. It will really be fun on the run to FDA decision. Pucker factor is high.
Good points all mcbio. MNTA is less of a risk asset but I think the potential for AMRN is beyond massive. Thanks for the feedback.
dough,
After a few day of waffling between MNTA, NKTR and AMRN, I just pulled the trigger on AMRN. Love the 26% insider ownership and the 26% increase of institutional holdings last qtr. The market is massive and we shall see. Thanks for your input.
I should have added that HB definitely speaks to additional compounds
Start at about 14:16 in the presentation where he is talking slide 16 and listen.
Absolutely positive and perfect presentation. SUCCEED is a lock for approval in my mind and that isnt even where the real money is. Harvey is having a great time talking to the yokel's who draw paychecks to ask questions about success that they cannot fathom. Tomorrow, I increase position significantly.
Great shake out....somebody wants shares cheaper than what they are....wait till the FDA panel....this thing will print $6.00 for a split second even though it will be trading at $12ish. Love it.
Believe they will be positive....just not new unfortunately.
Hey III, looks like there may be a serious accumulation at $7.94-$7.96......see it?
Anybody else?
glass, your (ii) statement is what is most in question for me in that, if we see that there is limited success in the one subset then what is considered "good enough" to have Rida approved as a standalone? (Rhetorical). Can we get approval if we are only very good in soft tissue vice not good in Bone?....as an example.
And I guess unless we could see those curves then we dont know if they were evaluated on an exact point in time for all patients or correlated to the differences in the timing of each patients "start time" on the drug. Is that a plausible comment?
