good thought chuck, I don't know how someone has the guts to sell right now with the news we're expecting at any minute.
Thanks Stock. I am interested in understanding but somewhat limited in capabilities. Good post such as yours make it easier for me. Thanks again.
If you are not waiting, are you infringeing?
I would venture a wild guess that if there's any offers of "cross patenting" on the settlement table, Scanbuy put those offers there. They need that for many reasons. Neomedia doesn't, not now. Neomedia should not lend any stature or legitimacy to Scanbuy's patents by recognizing them in any way in a settlement agreement.
jadegreen,The ecosystem is ready to "get on with it" One of these company's[Neom] core patents have withstood a 2 year challenge in USPTO. One of these companies [Scanbuy] patents have not. Which one would you value more and choose to get this ecosystem going with?
Clawmann, That's a door that needs closing if possible, but only at the right time.
Clawmann, After we get our next couple of expected announcements behind us, hopefully great announcements, I have some serious concerns about that Feb. 17 date interpretation. That one scares the heck out of me. I'd like to ask you at a later time. That interpretation opens to wide a door for YA,for us shareholders to just simply rely on the interpretation of a $46,000 a year pea counter. An attorney's legal opinion is needed.
Pretty soon, click click click.
With regards to Zack's hints, What state is Scanbuy headguartered in? What State is Pacer headquarted in? What state is Zack from? What's known in Texas that we don't know? How broad of a search can be made on Pacer as to any filings other than using just these case numbers with regards to Scanbuy or Neom? Bankruptcy filings etc. in Texas. I'm just fishing for some clue. In no way am I implying that Neom would be filing such but Scanbuy, that's a horse of another color.
Scottrade posted the Neustar deal announcement very early Fri. morning then immediately removed it. Then just before the PPS started to move up Fri. afternoon Scottrade posted it again and left it up. I think the Fri. afternoon posting of the Neustar deal on Scottrade had some effect on the increase in PPS Fri. [The timing of that announcement Fri. afternoon was deliberate or else they would have left it on there Fri. morning]. IMO
Thanks for the update clawmann.
If you believe in angels [ I do] maybe Dr. Mike is giving you guys he apparantly loved on this board a little "assist".
success, I noticed that sentence too. If you read and listen carefully you can learn where your opposition is "coming" from. [as in coming to scanbuy]
Thanks canuck, I hadn't seen this before. Just that much more encouragement. The more of this type news in public domain the better. The "asylum" knows what we've got here, the more it gets out there the more others will begin to become interested in owning this company's stock. Thanks again. We need thousands of newbies like me for this thing to grow to where we want it. Also, I believe that the time has come that our news will be released as it occurs and Iain won't have to release it "strategically" around YA's activities. At least I hope so.
Where's Krays? Good Pacer man.
Thanks, supersee.
I have a thought which has just come to my mind about those 77mil shares. I know nothing about the SEC or legal requirements. Could it be Neom bought them back as part of a move for Argo to take YA out? Just useless speculation on my part and of no use. I apologize.
Hawk, How did argo acquire those shares? Was there a dividend involved when they disposed of them? Just 2 questions that are on my mind. By the way I'm sure Clawmann has some great insight to all this and will inform us when the time is right.
Vero, You guys have a wonderful board here. You have great technical minds participating, great business minds also, great legal minds too as well as those who know how the market works and many who know how this all falls together. If you all will listen to each other with open minds. This is a great smorgasboard of talent. Those with a sexual intellectual attitude only deprive themselves. Thanks to all, It's my gain to read your posts.
Vero, I'm embarrased to say this but I'm older and computer illiterate. I looked at the site that said THE TEAM then returned to the same page with that site and scrolled and read some of the other sites on the page that had the site THE TEAM. I'm sorry, but hope this helps, until I can get a nephew to teach me I will just do the best I can. I don't even know how to post those links. THANKS for your patience.
MJAM, NEOM has the announcement on their website. I have been watching Scottrade quote page for it. The same announcement showed up briefly last night on Scottrade dated oct. 6 but then disappeared.
Vero,I tend to agree I read some of the argo blogs [if thats what their called] on google with dates around sept.14 and I believe they were disposing of some stocks and things and it was internal decision. I somewhat agree it may have been only bad timing with regards to their NEOM stock. I also believe that had they known of the Neustar deal they would have kept NEOM. That's just my opinion. All their decisions were made before the game changer deal with Neustar.
My subscription on I-hub is the free subscription so I can't send private messages at this time but thanks to all who have sent to me.
vero, I'm sorry it was argo global then ' "the team". Also read hawkpilot's post 188496
My scottrade quotes page had the neustar announcement on it a little while ago and now it's gone.
I googled argo global capitol investments then "our team" and saw christopher legg and saw his former job was investment banker with credit suisse and thought that there could be a connection to the credit suisse sept share volume and the infamous 77mil transaction.
always, Thanks, I suspected it would take some improvement in PPS for a while to overcome some of the stigma of poor past performance. I just hope to see some of that improvement begin to happen with all that could be announced hopefully soon.
vero, look at argo partner christopher legg and his job before going to argo. [credit suisse] FBCO credit suisse 77,735,775 in Sept. YTD same
roadruner, I would gladly answer your questions, problem is I know less about this than you or anyone here. I too only want to learn. I think the technical people will make it workable, the businessmen will make it work profitably and the public will determine just how profitable.
elliot, Yes I know the Nuestar deal was concrete news. Yes I know how big it was for us. My post 188181 shows that I understood that. You're darn right I am anxious for more big news. 1. Scanbuy settlement news 2. Clearinghouse news 3. Disposition of YA entanglement news; finally 4. That this technology is being used by millions of cellphone users many times every day. I disagree with your prediction that my investment in NEOM will be a long unhappy stress filled experience because I expect the things I mentioned above will be answered soon with the exception of the last one. I believe It is still a ways out. Yes I need to work on my patience and will refrain from any future displays of my lack of it. I am in neom until it succeeds. Thanks for your post I will take it to heart.
Owning Neomedia stock truely does require the patience of Jobe. Lord have mercy, when are we going to get some concrete news?
Web, One of my first thoughts about those 77mil. shares was that it was some sort of carrot from YA to some MM or MM's but didn't know enough about how all this works to express what I was thinking. I think that the one thing I've learned is I wouldn't put anything past MMs. I also have some fearful thoughts about what YA might do in the future with Neom' success but I'll wait and see on that one until events play out.
Hawk, I'm the least smart one here but I love the dot connecting I read here as well. There's some very good minds on this board. I'm proud to get the privilage to read everyone's thoughts as they are expressed here.
Hawk, the FBCO credit suisse YTD and Sept Vol jumped out at me. Is this a connection to the infamous 77mil transaction on Sept.14? I don't know how all this works, It probably means nothing, I don't know but would like to hear from those who do know as well. Also the vol. is not very balanced, among MM's. Is this usual with most stocks? I repeat, I have so very much to learn. Thanks
Please keep in mind that I know practically nothing about all of this, but that being said, I have 2 questions and I'll understand if they are too dumb to be worthy of a response. Here goes, 1. Is there a function or need for maybe 2 clearinghouses, one on each end of this? 2. This one can only be answered with opinions at this point in time but I respect most of your opinions and learn much from them. Do any of you think the decisions about the clearinghouse and the decision about settlement with SB already have been made and we're only waiting for announcements or are those decisions not yet made? Thank you, and if these 2 questions aren't worthy of a response I'll understand. I'm the first to admit I'm in way over my head in this.
Dave, I didn't join this board in time to know your father, sounds like he was a wonderful man. God be with you and family.
roadrunner, I'm a small fish too, but my investment in this is as important to me as anyone here. I'm confident there will be many investers in the future who will wish they had 40,000 shares of this at what you paid. I would also guess there are some oldtimers in this stock who would trade places with you in a New York minute. [A fresh start]
totally agree. [Build it and they will come].
I know that this has been a long grueling road for you guys who've been in this for so many years but Oct 2 when Neom joined Neustar this ballgame changed. Neomedia just moved from the sandlot to new Yankee stadium.
newmoney, What's more important is that dummies like me all over the country are seeing it and asking themselves, What's this all about.
