LISTEN LIVE:
The bridge number is 712-432-1001 and when prompted for the access code enter 477420980
You will hear no music just an intermittent beep until the hearing begins.
Since the hearing isn't until 3PM I'll have the post up early Wed.
The phone number remains the same but the code may or may not change.
Thanks.
Please don't re-post the number for the previous hearing because the code might change. Thanks.
Personal scheduling conflict so I won't be going in person for the hearing. The standard routine will apply.
Regarding any tax refund.. I presume the only way we'll about any refunds will be in a MOR?
They came off daylight savings time. They opened one hour later.
Yep. And hopefully we see the agenda tomorrow for the 28th.
Thanks again Mordicai. You make remind us of some important facts; JPM stipulated the accounts were the holding company's. And you are spot on on her comments and questions. It all is more clear now that WMI stands a pretty high chance of winning the SJ.
Thank you for your read on this Mordicai. Any opinion on whether the summary judgment will be denied and it go to a full evidentiary hearing?
p.s. I think the huge buy volume today on WAHUQ is really telling on how some big money thinks this is going. 1.68 million shares.
1.6 million is some volume. Some people are betting on a good outcome for the $4B ruling.
Big buys today.
Damn.. and I was hoping for a micro brewery. If I'm taking the day off I want to make the most of it.
(I'm off to lala land.. I commute in tomorow.. catch you all tomorrow.)
And I can certainly snap photos outside of the courthouse as the attorney's are exiting. Ghost can take the photos and create a "perp board" web page. LOL I'll be sure to take photos at the just right time so we have sinister JPM photos. And a nice sunset behind WMI's.
Thanks for letting me know. But I'm sure they allow laptops.
Laptop + Sprintcard + Vonage/Skype/Microphone = mp3
Easier yet is my MP3 player.. nice mic recording feature. I'll drop it in Sachs front breast jacket pocket. LOL
I'll find a way to record it. But thanks for the heads up. I'll actually call the courthouse and get the particulars and rules.
No suit needed. I plan to go business casual.. not even a tie.
I don't need to impress a judge.. you just need to be able to get in the courthouse without looking like you are living on the street. LOL
Whether or not we see a ruling on the $4B by the 28th I'm thinking of driving to DE for the hearing on the 28th.
I can still do live conference call.. but the mp3's will have to wait until the next day. If video may not be permitted but if it were I would use my phone to take video. Maybe at least take some quick photos.
I only see good things ahead. FDIC put an initial damper on it for everyone but as the fog clears you begin to see the desperation of FDIC and JPM. They have nothing.
It all begins at 9:30AM EST.

I agree.. I was hoping we'd have some this week though.
But isn't this incredibly low volume compared to previous runs?
In the right direction.. but I sure wish we had volume.
But if they agreed then they must have received exactly what they wanted. Great news.
So it sounds like they came to an agreement on the unsealing? And it is already signed by the judge.
I missed that trade yesterday. We've been seeing some 100k trades previously. Hopefully everything starts to heat up soon.
10,000 share trade pre-market at 7.64; bid/ask is at 7.25 x 7.45
Thanks for the agenda. It looks interesting. I might decide to pull the audio for the hearing. If I do I will post the info here.
Thanks for the reply. I'll look it over.
Do you have a link to the agenda doc for tomorrow?
Thanks.
I now show no BID but MAXM on the ASK at 6.75
I show DOMS on bid at .70 and no ASK. Wait until NITE shows on the P's.
Exactly.. not worth the stress. IMHO.
I know if I tried to flip any that I would wind up making the moves at the wrong time. And I can't complain given the percentages I'm up across the board. My bet has been placed on P's and H's and a little commons to make it more interesting.
Thanks. When the time comes, I think if P's hit $60, then I'll be hiring my own BK-attorney to give me the finer details and correct or confirm my understandings of the case.
I'm always open to new information. Even more so if I am wrong about something.
So you run when confronted to show proof of your statements. Interesting.
Where's the proof backing up your statement?
If A>L then commons are not cancelled. You have a bit more to learn.
"The bankruptcy court may determine that stockholders don't get anything because the debtor is insolvent. (A debtor's solvency is determined by the difference between the value of its assets and its liabilities.) If the company's liabilities are greater than its assets, your stock may be worthless."

I don't recall the "no appeals" but I do remember her comment similar to "unless the appellate overturns it". I need to go back to the transcript to get a clear understanding of what was said.
