I'm seeing 2.78 ask. em
littlefish: Yes, it sounds right...probably because it is a Bulletin Board stock and no brokerage allows retail customers to short Pink/OTCBB stocks. In my opinion, it is not retail, legal shorting that one has to be concerned about with their stocks. It is the illegal, or "naked" shorting that drives companies out of business because what occurs in that process is basically the electronic counterfeiting of stock, creating a false, endless supply which can be done as much as the perpetrator chooses to. AYSI does not behave like a stock that is being naked shorted as far as I have observed.
Nope. I never use AON. I always use GTC. They filled 60,301 of my order, never showing the .0007 bid, then dropped it down through .0006 to .0005 and never filled the rest of my order. MM's are not obligated to fill your order on the pinks/otcbb. Call your broker and ask them. They can completely ignore your order if they choose, even in a situation like mine where I was above the bid and sells are going through below my price. Pretty nutty. It's ok though, I changed the order to .0006 and will probably get filled there. I don't mind paying less.
As it pertains to Pink/OTC stocks, the MM's aren't obligated to fill any order they don't want to. All one needs do to verify this is call and ask your broker.
BLDV: Perfect Cup & Handle breakout today, including the measured move a smidgen beyond .021. Congratulations to BLDV shareholders!
Over a million shares have traded below my bid price of .0007 down to .0005 with no fill. Gotta love those MM's!

I have a .0007 order in although MM's not showing it. em

Here's a post that sums things up nicely... http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=30038597

Yessir. The stock is moving nice and strong so far today. It wouldn't hurt to see some consolidation occur for a week or so within today's range. The slower they go up, the slower they are likely to come down.
Have a good day.

Hi eats...
Thought I'd add a little something to your post. People love drama. Many can't seem to be happy without it. If you want to find a scam stock, just visit the mssg boards and look at the PRs for the stock. If you find incessant dramatic, argumentive postings with no useful information, and/or a company PRing every week or two with nothing of any substance to the PR's. There's a good chance you've found yourself a scam stock.
I don't see any of either with CDCH or MDMN.
Very happy to be buying at these levels with complete trust in the management. Let em take as long as they need to make me as wealthy as I can get from this investment!!!

Got some at .46 today, .50 a couple days ago. Good sign for me when all the posters are membermarked! ;-P

Bought DBRM @ .48, MNAP @ 1.07., MMTE @ .0015
The first two are low float O&G plays. Check their boards for DD.

It's my pleasure itrytowin. It's nice to be in a stock with steady gains like this.
If you look at lvl II right now you'll see two MM's sitting on the bid at 2.56. That is where the 20 EMA is right now on the 5 minute interval chart, so that's our intra-day support for now, along with 2.60 which would fill a gap on that chart.
The price is right around there where I'm at in So Cal. Don't think we'll ever see much below $4 again. Based upon everything I've been seeing I wouldn't be surprised to be anywhere between $5 and $6 by the end of the year.
Have a great weekend.
Rich
Not sure how interested you guys are in the technicals here, but from a purely technical perspective, this is a symmetrical triangle breakout with a target potential of 2.90.

Bought RIO @ 34.71. Has held 200DMA support so far.
That's quite a punishment! He must not have been very good at it!
I find it hard to believe that someone would only place a 100 share buy, referring to the last trade at .015. On several occasions when I've purchased shares of this stock, even at the ask, the MM's would immediately fill 100 shares and then make me sit and wait for the rest of them. I don't understand that game but it would suck if someone placed an order 20 minutes before the market close only to fill 100 shares and have to pay the commission.
Thanks Velvet. How are you getting around now?
Welcome xray...
While you're waiting for a response to your question from Velvet I feel comfortable responding in the meantime. Over the past year Sam has told various shareholders that PR's would be coming "soon" on several occasions. This has gotten to be a "boy who cried wolf" scenario where many have come to be quite skeptical of hearing anything. When I last spoke to Velvet about this recent conversation he had, it was made clear that Sam could not give any more specific time frame than "soon", but that Velvet did feel like something could actually be coming.
Regardless of when Sam reveals to us what actual measurement of time defines his interpretation of the word "soon", it appears as though you've positioned yourself much better than those of us who have been hanging around for several years. Congratulations.

eastunder:
It's no big deal. Plenty of opportunities out there.
Thanks for the tip, I'll take a look. I don't typically play dividends, just saw this one posted on another board last night.
Thanks very much for the reply.
Rich
Thanks eastunder. Wish I had found out about this a little earlier.
Take care.
Based upon the trading today it looks like yesterday was the last day to be eligible for the divy. Day late, but at least not a dollar short.
I presume this means that today is the last day one can buy and be eligible for the dividend? Just found out about this last night.
Lehman CFO Callan, COO Gregory leaving posts
By Greg Morcroft
LEH) said Thursday that CFO Erin Callan and COO Joseph Gregory are leaving their posts. Lehman said Bart McDade will replace Gregory, and Ian Lowitt will replace Callan. Lehman stock has been buffeted lately as investors question the firm's capital position and its transparency amid the ongoing credit crisis.
Yeah I think I'll be trading the QM more often to help ease that pain.
I expect it's only gonna get worse, although it'll probably level off for periods.
BTW, I've been lurking for some time thanks to a friend bringing it to my attention. Nice board you have. You guys move too fast for me to post and do my thing though! lol
San Diego is only a quarter away from that now. I saw 4.53 for unleaded regular today at the gas station I frequent.

U.S. crude supply drops for a fourth week
By Myra P. Saefong
Last update: 10:40 a.m. EDT June 11, 2008
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Crude supplies dropped by 4.6 million barrels to 302.2 million for the week ended June 6, according to the Energy Department Wednesday. They've fallen a total of almost 24 million in four weeks. Motor gasoline supplies rose 1 million barrels to 210.1 million barrels. Distillate stocks were up 2.3 million barrels at 114 million barrels. Refinery utilization was at 88.6% compared with 89.7% of capacity a week earlier. Following the news, July crude was last up $3.39 at $134.70 a barrel.
Monicaland...
Boy, did you step into the minefield with that question! And here's my answer to you...
Any person that wishes to respond to you by sharing their personal opinions and any DD is free to do so here, as long as they follow the posting rules set by Ihub. That's what this board is for. I'm sure you'll have no problem finding out the negatives as there are plenty of very unhappy investors here...and they do have a right to feel the way that they do.
Other than that, the best answer that I feel I can give you is to spend some time reading past posts and keep up with recent ones. Jerry has recently started keeping a list of DD oriented posts in the Ibox, so definitely check that out.
As for me, I've been invested in this stock for 4 years. I'm not as unhappy as most probably because I have also traded the stock the whole time and have made a decent amount of money doing so. Another reason is because several people who have provided DD and their communications with management have been or have become trusted friends of mine. So, I feel more comfortable holding the stock and perhaps more confident that the management will learn from past mistakes and eventually create a profitable company out of what, I must confess, currently appears to be not much more than a black hole for investors cash.
If you don't get any more response from your inquiry than this, all you need to do to get your answer is to scan through a few months to a years worth of past posts. I suspect you may not like the majority of what you read, but I would remind you that people's opinions are based upon their personal perceptions and not necessarily facts.
I believe that the biggest problem all investors have with this company is the lack of communication that has occurred for around a year. Nobody really knows what is going on and, as you might expect, people tend to become very unhappy when they have no idea what their hard earned money is being used for.
Finally, if you or anyone were to ask me if this was a good place to invest your money I feel that the most responsible answer would be to say no, that this is a lottery ticket at best. Investors have very little information about much of anything regarding SPRL. Until management provides information about what they've been doing for the past year I don't see how anyone could responsibly recommend this stock as a buy.
Anyone else who cares to respond to monicaland, fire away as far as I'm concerned.
Take care.
Rich
No problem Rozzy. Next time you might want to read the PR before you post it though! LOL
Take care.
Congrats on the cheapies dcbass. I'm ready for that jump back to .06 and beyond, although it wouldn't hurt me to grab some 045's or lower if our seller should be so generous as to return.
LMAO! That too!
Here's the answer...
The pharma companies have contracts with the companies that own the green/yellow porta-potties that you see on construction sites, concerts and anywhere else with large outdoor gatherings of people. Some of the companies have potties that keep the urine separate from the other crap. They use the urea from the urine which is actually the active ingredient that does what the creams are touted for.
The women in your lives who use the stuff would be financially much better off to just keep a cup in the bathroom rather than buying those expensive creams. Sounds disgusting, but if you do a little research you'll find that this is, or at least was, a very common practice for women in some Asian cultures.
I'm a veritable encyclopedia of useless information.
Whoops! Looks like our seller is taking a break or has finished. Bid jumped to .052 and ask back to .06. (At least for the moment)
Looks like the answer to your question is "yes".
I can one-up that though. You know all of those expensive anti-aging creams that so many of the females in our lives like to use to reduce the effects of wrinkles and aging? Take a guess where the pharma companies get one of the main ingredients which is the ingredient that actually is most responsible for reducing the wrinkles?
That's cool Brent, thank you. Keep an eye on tchauncy, a poster here who likes KING and is a long time, large shareholder. I've never had a conversation with him but have followed him for some time on the boards. Smart guy and can educate anyone on the MM's and how they do what they do. He used to be one.
Rich
Well that's certainly a reasonable explanation. I hope you thanked them! lol
And thank you Brent.
