Pierre, I hate to ruin your Christmas. I have heard from someone that did dive that site when it was first found. They did find Treasure. And I'll leave it at that.
I may not be a Brain Surgeon, but I think SFRX isn't saying anything until they have the actual salvage permit in hand. If I was them ? I wouldn't say anything either, since I am sure they are not watching over that site everyday and Pirates do abound in this industry. So unless you are working the site and keeping security on it everyday? Things will disappear.
theslybat, I have a feeling that you are going to continue hearing rhetoric like that until SFRX gets a permit on site #3.
Most investors in treasure hunting must think that X marks the spot and every wreck has treasure ? Not True. Others may think that a treasure hunting company is like starting a McDonalds, were you make money every day.
This is a tough business and this is the off season for most treasure hunters. So be prepared for complaints. Heck look at people you know in the work place. I am sure that people have complaints about some
co-workers.
That's life and everyone has an opinion. Don't let it bother you.
Like I said before. SFRX has a Great Business plan and they don't leave their boat and crew tied up to the dock. This takes time. Patience is virtue.
Good Luck to all and hopefully the permit will be here soon.
SG, I personally have no first hand knowledge of what SFRX management or consultants think the value of the wreck could be.
Personally, I don't think it would matter as far as the stock price goes, whether the wreck is worth Billions or whether it is worth 100 million dollars. I believe the stock price would move way up.
I believe there would be free International Media attention. Probably Network News Interviews, as well as a Documentary and possible Movie deal.
I personally think SFRX is a good Lottery Play. Could there be problems?
Sure there could. There are no guarantees in life about anything. Except meeting your maker at some point.
I think this is a Great Lottery Play.
Just my personal opinion
SG, I agree with your post about the stock price going down w/o news.
I also think it is normal for the stock price to go down during the diving "off season". ( To me the diving off season in FL could go any where from Oct to May )
To answer your question about why I have done a 180 on this stock?
I am not saying that treasure could not be on sites #1 and #2. I am just saying as I did well over a year ago, that I did not think those sites held a lot of treasure, if any. Now Treasure comes in many forms and to some people an old wine bottle is Treasure. When I write about Treasure, I mean gold, silver and precious stones.
I have never claimed to be an expert. Personally, I also don't think there are any experts in diving for Treasure. ( I do believe there are experts in Research, Archeology and using side scan sonar and other electronic devices.) Just some people that know a little more then the next person. I based my opinion on site #1 and site #2 on research and talking to others involved in treasure hunting.
I am basing my opinion of site #3 on what I have heard from some very knowledgeable people involved in treasure hunting and none of those people work for SFRX. I will also state that I have the utmost respect for Jim Sinclair and if he thinks this is a 1715 wreck? I would take that to the bank.
Just my personal opinion
I don't agree with your post. I know people outside of SFRX that say site #3 is a good wreck. I think the reason that it is taking so long to get a permit from the State of Florida is that the State Pencil neck archeologists know that this is a Good Wreck and they are dragging their feet in the process.
RFL1969,
LOL, I had to laugh about the posts about SFRX spending 7 million dollars to look for treasure since 2007. SFRX is spending approx, $1,000,000 a year to Look for Treasure. For the uninformed. That is about what a real Treasure hunting company spends in a year to look for Treasure.
We know SFRX is Looking for Treasure because investors that post here, have been out on the SFRX boat when the crew is working.
I think Odyssey Marine spends around $30,000,000 a year looking for Treasure, but don't quote me on that. So, I wouldn't complain that SFRX is actually looking for Treasure and isn't just keeping their boat tied to the dock, like some other companies have allegedly been accused of.
If investors are getting tired of waiting on the State of Florida to issue a permit for site number 3? I know someone that has GPS numbers of a wreck at a certain Latitude that Spanish Research says 3 Galleons sunk. Maybe SFRX would want to survey those wrecks and bypass the State, because they are in Federal waters? Just a though. These wrecks are near the Georgia boarder with Florida.
Personally, I think SFRX is going to get their permit on site #3 and then everyone will be happy. At least everyone that owns shares of stock.
Just my personal opinion
Looks like your post isn't correct. Scaglione isn't filing anything from Prison, because he isn't in Prison.
carolinacoast, If the CEO isn't sweating, he should be is right. According to pictures that were posted on this board showing the CEO in his RS/OPS shirt, sitting in front of a pile of emeralds that spelled RS/OPS. ( I guess he thought more of rs/ops then he does of the ORRV investors.) This photo/op occurred as soon as the emeralds find was announced on this board.
Now that I think about it, the emeralds and pictures of the emeralds were first announced on this board by a character named Capt Jack. If this was a real find, I think we would have heard about it on TV or in the newspapers, yet it appeared here first. That should have been every ones clue that this was a scam.
The CEO of ORRV was mentioned in the last Motion as being involved in this fiasco from the beginning with Jay and Steve Elchlepp Jr. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next Trial in January
Just my personal opinion
Snizzle, Sorry for your loss on this stock. The emeralds appear to be a scam according to filings in Court. ORRV's CEO is mentioned in those filings. It appears that ORRV is going to get no money from the emeralds.
I guess we will find out more when the next Trial starts on January 13th.
Good Luck.
powerbattles, I'll try and answer some of your questions based on what I read in the court filing on Nov. 19th
According to the filing. The emeralds are in a safe at Miscovich's jeweler's store in Pennsylvania.
An employee of Miscivich's says that she was in Florida when Miscovich bought about 50 pounds of emeralds for $5,000 in Jupiter. Miscovich then drove to Key West Florida and showed the emeralds to his partner at their rental house.
Based on that statement. I don't think the emeralds are worth very much money.
Miscovich's Brother is trying to cut a deal with the FBI. Others have been interviewed by the FBI about the emeralds and I think it is a real possibility that some people may be going to prison over what the court filing alleges as Fraud. Perjury in the first Trial and divers planting the emeralds at Jay and Steve Elchlepp's old Admiralty Claim.
I have to wonder if 60 minutes is going to have to film a retraction of their 60 minutes episode. The Trouble with Treasure ?
Just my personal opinion
powebattles, First let me say this. Suicide is never the right answer and may Jay rest in peace.
ORRV Management is also mentioned in the Motion that was filed in the up coming Trial in January. I think the ORRV CEO will also be on the witness stand this time. I know that Jay and his partner were bragging about a Movie that was going to be made of the Emerald Find. I for one would like to see Hollywood make that Movie. At least we would all know what really happened.
In my opinion Jay committed suicide because he was afraid that he was gong to go to Prison over the emerald case. I think jrf30, posted the last Motion that was filed in the emerald case.
In that Motion one of Jay's employee's gives a deposition in which she states that Jay was " Never going to appear in Court on January 13th."
Jay told her that he had a few options.
#1. If he got any money from the emeralds. He was going to skip the Country and go to Malaysia, where the US Feds could not get to him or his money.
#2. He was going to commit suicide, because he was not going to Prison.
That Court filing tells of buying the emeralds, where he bought them.
It mentions the FBI investigating the case. It mentions Jay's brother trying to get a deal with the FBI for immunity of Prosecution in the Emerald Fraud.
To make a Long story short. It appears that the whole emerald find was a scam and that Jay and others allegedly committed Fraud.
In MY OPINION Jay was NOT the Mastermind of the whole Emerald Scam. I think we will learn more during the Fraud and Sanctions Trial on January 13th. I also think Jay's Partner in the emerald case, Steve Elchlepp Jr. has a lot of questions to answer on the witness stand during that Trial.
Just my personal opinion
Yes, I did see some laughable volume today. Someone sold $4 worth of stock.
Now that is really laughable. I think he lost money on that trade, it probably cost more in broker fee's then $4.
Capt Billy, Keep that Treasure coming for the Actual Shareholders of DPBE
jrf30, The Nov, 19th Court Motion is eye opening into what is clearly FRAUD in my opinion. I Noticed that Scott Heimdel and ORRV were also mentioned numerous times in that Motion. Do you think trading may be halted after this January Court Trial if Fraud is Proven???
It appears that the FBI has interviewed several people with a connection to the emeralds or even ORRV.
It appears that Jay on Page 305 of the Motion was quoted as saying over 100 times that the emeralds were found at the Kenny Rose site at Woman Key. Jay was also quoted in that Motion as mentioning MANY Times, " THAT THE EMERALDS CAME FROM THE STERNCASTLE OF THE ATOCHA.
So for the people that claimed that never happened and wanted to know why the Fisher's got involved in this Court Case. That should answer the question as to why the Fisher's got involved in the First Place. It had nothing to do with Greed as some have alleged on this board. It had to do with Jay, " Claiming the emeralds came from the Sterncastle of the Atocha."
In my opinion Jay's Partner, Steve Elchlepp Jr, is in Big Trouble. Apparently Elchepp allegedly knew that emeralds were bought by his Partner Jay. Steve Elchepp's testimony in the first trial is going to be called into question as Perjury in the second Trial in January, in my opinion. Not to mention the Fraud that was committed and what his part may have been in the Fraud.
The FBI has interviewed many witnesses and I think a lot of people are going to be in Trouble. The Motioned mentioned 2 divers that were with Elchepp and employed by JTR enterprises. The motion alleges that the emeralds were planted at the emerald site by divers.
Jay and Steve Elchepp Jr. were right about one thing in this Emerald Deal. The Hollywood Movie that they claimed was going to make them Famous is going to be interesting and have a surprise ending.
The Movie, " Catch me if you can." Comes to mind.
Just my personal opinion
allyboys1, I just spent 3 hours reading the 347 page court document on the emerald case that was filed on Nov. 19th. It opened my eyes on what to expect at the Trial in January.
2 people that gave depositions in that Motion stated that the FBI paid them a visit. The Motion seems to point to Perjury, Fraud and other violations.
Did you know that if Jay got any money from the emeralds that he planned to skip the Country and that he had no intention of showing up for Court in January ? I think Steve Elchlepp Jr. has a lot of explaining to do on the witness stand. At least that is my personal opinion after reading that Motion that was filed.
It looks like ORRV management might have some questions to answer too.
Oh and it also tells where the emeralds were BOUGHT.
Just my personal opinion
I don't need to ask the CEO anything. I am happy that Capt Billy and crew Recovered Treasure. Asking questions is for people that need answers. I don't need any.
Capt Billy and crew. Keeping bringing up Treasure for Actual Shareholders of DPBE,
LMAO!!! Since when were Pictures a news release ????
LMAO, DPBE Can't get the Press Rolling Because of the SEC.
It has been posted here many times and anyone that cares to do PROPER DD knows that the DR Government Controls what can be released to the Press and WHEN IT CAN BE RELEASED. Wow!!! Imagine that? Someone posting the Truth.
allyboys, After reading the article it appears that Silverstein may not be the only one in Trouble.
I guess we will all find out during the Fraud and Sanctions Trial in January. Can't wait to see that Hollywood Movie that Jay and Elchlepp said was going to make them Famous.
Two Paragraphs from today's Newspaper Article.
The Motion asks the court to force Silverstein to " Show cause why he and his Law Firm should not be held in Contempt... for litigating the fraudulent action in bad faith, by adopting tactics calculated to conceal fraud, as well as to increase the cost incurred by [ Fisher's] that stood between JTR Enterprises and a court-endorsed Fraudulent Treasure Provenance."
Fisher Lawyers also ask the Court in the motion to force Elchlepp and other JTR investors to " Show cause as to why they should not be Criminally Prosecuted."

Just my personal opinion
Bruce Silverstein, Jay's Attorney knew the emeralds were bought.
According to the newspaper article Silverstein was also heavily invested in JTR Enterprises and did not disclose that fact to investors in the emerald claim.
The Newspaper goes on to say that as Jay's Attorney, that is an ethic violation as Jay's Attorney. I have a feeling that the next emerald Trial in January is going to get interesting. Newspaper articles are printing stories about Fraud, wiretaps and the FBI.

Raider21,
Northofadollar,
If this is indeed a 1715 Virgin Wreck? Then I also believe it will be a Home Run. As far as I am concerned both Sinclair and DeBry are experts in the industry and have the track records to prove it.
In my opinion many people in the industry know about Seafarer and this wreck site. I know that some of them have either bought shares or if they had the money, would probably buy shares. In my opinion, anyone that I would call friends in the Industry. Would want any other Treasure Hunter to succeed. Morally, I think it is the right thing to do, to hope that everyone succeeds in life. No matter what their goal is.
Unfortunately, not everyone wants others to succeed. I don't know why?
Could be that someone succeeded in the past and doesn't want others to succeed? Who Know?
All I know is that if Sinclair believes that site #3 is a Virgin 1715 wreck? That is good enough for me. I wish SFRX all the Luck and Success in the World.
Just my personal opinion
goldfinger2, I am sure that there are a lot of dots to be put together.
The Atocha was found in 1985. At the time of the find Mel Fisher estimated the Atocha was valued at 1 Billion Dollars. Mel Claimed that the Sterncastle of the Atocha held over half of the Treasure that the Atocha was carrying.
The Mother Lode of the Atocha was recovered in 1985 and was valued at $450,000,000. That does not include the emeralds, gold and silver that has been recovered since 1985. Read the story Below.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mel_Fisher
Now where I went to school. $450 Million in 1985, plus what has been recovered by the Fisher Family since 1985, Plus the value that Mel placed on the sterncastle that was never never found. Equals $1 Billion Dollars or very close to it one way or the other.
Jim Sinclair and Dr. DeBry. Great Job, Keep up the good work.
Hopefully the permit for site #3 will be here soon and we will all see what is on the shipwreck.
Spec Ops, I agree, KK is not letting Barnacles grow on the bottom of the Iron Maiden. He has his crews out looking for Treasure. If you don't look, you sure as heck won't find it.
As far as the speculation about how much the wreck at site #3 is worth???
I would think that Expert Researchers like Jim Sinclair would have a better idea of the value of the wreck, then others that don't have the same credentials as Mr. Sinclair.
Some people live in the past. One example is this. When Mel Fisher found the Atocha in the late 80's. He put a value on the Atocha at $1,000,000,000. Mel Claimed that the stern castle of the Atocha was valued at $500,000,000 in the late 80's. The increase in price of Gold and Silver Today. I don't think that any reasonable person would not at least double that $500,000,000 price tag for the Stern Castle of the Atocha. The same would apply for the 1715 wrecks that were found in the 60's. The Value of a Virgin 1715 Wreck would be worth a lot more today then it was in the early 60's.
Hopefully, the permit for site #3 will be in soon and we will all get to see what the value of that wreck is going to be.
Just my personal opinion
Neb and Capt Billy, Keep the Pictures of Treasure coming.
THIS Actual Shareholders appreciates the information. As a shareholder of DPBE, I don't think it takes much imagination to figure out where the pictures of Treasure are coming from. ( Gee, Could it be someone associated with DPBE or associated with Capt Billy.? )
I also know from creditable sources from another treasure salvage company in the DR that I own stock in, that this treasure is being kept and is recorded in the DR Government Conservation Lab. Waiting for a DPBE/DR Division , just like the other company is waiting for their next Division by the DR Government.
Keep UP the GOOD WORK DPBE and crew.
Just in from the DR !!!! According to Management of another Treasure Salvage Co. in the DR that DID FIND TREASURE.
DPBE does have Treasure and Priceless Mayan Artifacts in Government HANDS AND DPBE is waiting for a Division of that Treasure. Just like the other Company is waiting for a Division of their Treasure in the DR.
DPBE does have a Dive Boat in the DR.
DD is nice if you know where to find it. Getting that DD from a SUCCESSFUL TREASURE HUNTING RIVAL IN THE DR instead of someone that does not have a Treasure Salvage Co. in the DR is pretty good intel.
Keep Bringing that Treasure on Deck Capt Billy and DPBE Crew.
Just my personal opinion
sctts, I also think the Gold Ring is right around the corner. I hope the State issues that permit for site #3 soon, then this will really start ot take off. Especially when they announce the first Treasure on Deck.
Off for Stripers in the morning NJ.
Yes, we do do know that to be True. Everyone that KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT TREASURE SALVAGE knows that to be TRUE. Deep Blue Marine is the only penny stock Treasure Hunting Company Recovering Treasure.
If you think it is a scam, Prove it. One day someone else may ask you the same question.
In my opinion DEEP BLUE MARINE has Recovered Treasure. That is not a scam. People's opinions change. You can not compare what someone said, 6 or 7 years ago to what Deep Blue Marine is Doing Now. Back then they were not recovering Treasure. The last 2 years DPBE has been recovering Treasure.
Case Closed.
SFRX stock price rising again today. Hopefully the brass ring is right around the corner and the site #3 permit is in hand.
I know that DPBE isn't a Scam. DPBE is a Treasure Salvage Co. that has done what it said, it was going to do and that is Find and Recover Treasure.
You are the one that called it a Scam. Prove it, you made the accusation that it is a scam. Prove what you Post.
Wow!!! Massive Trading today to bring the stock price down.
3000 shares sold, for what under $5. I don't know about about most brokers, but it cost me about 10 times the $5, for me to make a trade.
I guess someone has an agenda.
Capt Billy, Hope that Division is right around the corner. Can't wait to see more Pictures of Treasure Recovered by Deep Blue and crew.
