I'm in a great mood. All finished with the final tax return extensions of 10/15 and flush with client's fees.
WOW. Based on that, if I wasn't feeling so charitable towards the shorts, I would mortgage my house and buy a boatload of NWOL.
I see your logic. As soon as the shorts realize that the new shares will not be issued until global warming frees the ports of ice, they will panic and start covering, driving the price up.
Is that $100 price before or after the next 1:100 reverse split?
I have bad news. I just received an e-mail from a friend of mine in Russia who advises me that the reason Maly is having difficulty in finding a ship to transport the check is that most of the ports in Russia are now blocked with ice.
I called Maly to confirm this and he told me that we must be patient and that global warming will soon free all the ports of ice.
In response to your query as to when we are getting our shares, I contacted the transfer agent and was advised that as soon as they receive advance payment for issuing the new shares and the check clears, they will issue the new shares. I then called Maly and asked him about this and his response was that the check has already been issued and that as soon as they can find a ship to transport the check to the transfer agent in the US, it will be sent. He also assured me that there were sufficient funds in the checking account for the check to clear.
I also asked him about the purpose of the NY office and he stated that it was to have a checkbook available in the United States so that future reverse splits could be handled in a more expeditious manner. The reason that they have not supplied the actual address for the NY office is that leases have not as yet been signed and they do not want to get into a bidding war for the space with Aurus Corp. who have virtually unlimited gold resources and could bid up the price.
You are misplacing the blame. It is NWOG (Malyshev) who should be held to account for the NWOL shares not being issued. The brokers have no say as to when the new shares will be issued and the TA takes orders from NWOG. I won't speculate as to the reason the issuance of new shares has been delayed far beyond what is normal in cases like these.
I would guess that with all the confusion and with different brokers telling different stories about short sales and forced buy-ins, the only way to clear it up would be to contact the SEC who promulgates the rules for a definitive answer. Half the brokers don't seem to know the rules.
You still have not answered EIK's question about where you got your information that Maly invested $15 million in NWOG/NWOL.
It seems to me that Malyshev had been sitting on the $35 million valuation report since March--over six months. WHY?
If he, his cronies or the company purchased shares between then and the release of the valuation report, then it would seem that they are guilty of "insider trading" which is illegal. Since it appears that the company bought back some shares during that period, then they screwed the shareholders that sold during that period by using their inside information.
If the above is true, how can any PR put out by Malyshev be trusted.
Based on the stock having made impressive gains recently, and based on the charts, NOW would seem to be a perfect time to buy with both hands, however, it's hard to trust anything about this stock based on the past.
That being said, it seems that it could be a good short term trading opportunity, but, I would be reluctant to hold this for the long term.
Talk about "grasping at straws". Join the club.
Malyshev wrote in the PR. "Although we continue to make great strides in an effort to create transparency". ROTFLMAO
The PR only IMPLIED that they were going after the NDOL scammers. If in fact they were doing that, the PR could very easily have stated that.
Actually, he should have formed the club. After the stock hit $1.52 on the $2.17 buyout PR it dropped to about $1.17 or so. I advised him at that point that the market was "screaming" that the buyout was a phony. He could have at that point sold for around one half million dollars. Instead he said "I'm not taking one share off the table". Today, his stock is worth around five thousand dollars and he still believes.
Unfortunately, he's not.
I will have to review your posts to see if you qualify. We have very stringent admission requirements, however, you will have to call Maria or whatever name she is going by these days to get the detailed requirements.
I am re-opening the NWOL cockeyed optimist club. You certainly should qualify as a Charter member.
I assume you are basing that prediction on another 1:100 RS
That's quite fitting. The whole thing seems like a TV farce.
The bad reputation started a long time ago if you had only opened your eyes.
You jump to wrong conclusions.
1. I wrote Charter "member", not Charter "flight"
2. I never wrote that I was buying.
3. Even if I were buying, why would I pay for your whole family
4. Just so that there is no mis-understanding, you must supply your own "PUMPER" button.
PS--Good to see that you still have a sense of humor in the face of adversity.
PPS Don't jump to conclusions in your investment decisions. Emotion kills.
PPPS-I tried e-mailing you at the address you provided, but, I got back a message from the National Council on Mental Illness advising me that they have put a hold on your e-mail account and will not deliver it until they get approval from a professional.
"How could it be worse" you ask. Very simple. Continued dilution of the shares together with continued phony PR's and continued poor communication could drive the price down even further.
Anybody can sue anybody. First they have to win the case. Then they have to win the appeal. Then they have to collect. FAT CHANCE.
BTW I am forming a NWOL "cockeyed optimists club". You, Risi, oilspec, lett, stockmann and after post no. 38404, partysasquatch are all invited to become charter members. Only charter members will be permitted to wear "PUMPER" buttons.
Your sarcasm is understandable under the circumstances.
Well, it's really comforting that Malyshev feels that the financial results for the past year have proved the "merit and strength of the financial plan" and that really inspires confidence. Of course, the non-disclosure of the financial results, takes away some of my optimism. Suing Parkin should really add considerable value to the shares. ROTFLMAO at this PR.
If you are serious, it's a fair bet that those shares will wind up in your Estate.
Talk about whistling past the graveyard. You probably will view the next "dead cat bounce" as a bullish change in trend
According to Malyshev, he thought that the stock should trade at $0.30 ($30.00 post RS) and $1.00 ($100.00 post RS) by the end of the year. If Malyshev believed that the market was grossly undervaluing the company, don't you think he and his powerful friends would buy shares up the gazoo paying up to at least $5.00
The reverse split has already gone through. You now own ONLY ONE PERCENT OF THE SHARES YOU PREVIOUSLY OWNED. Until you gain some knowledge of investing in securities, you probably should stick to bank accounts or certificates of deposit.
I'm sure you are correct, I just posted what Ameritrade was showing.
Actually, somebody paid $1.11 for 6500 (formerly 650,000) shares a short while ago. BTW $1.11, equivalent to $.0111 on the old shares is a new twelve month low.
If your account shows the post split shares, it should not be a problem. It would then be your brokers responsablity.
Only if I were going short.
At what price??
If they freeze NWOL trading till then, when will it ever trade again and how will anyone be able to take their tax loss.
Sorry, missed that. I stand corrected.
Can't remember posting that. If I did, please refer me to that post.
5000 shs at the asked on the close. Looks like someone is painting the tape.
If they put out a PR about closing a deal or about Uplisting or about a buyout WHO other than perhaps you, "sometimes right", "dragon man" and "bullbusch" are going to BELIEVE IT. Based on NWOG management's track record, the market PROBABLY will not react to "positive" news. If by chance, there is some price improvement as the result of some positive news, historically with NWOG stock it has been an opportunity to sell since it invariably went back down. They have cried "WOLF" too often and have exactly ZERO CREDIBILITY.
I am sorry to have to tell you that it seems very apparent that Malyshev knows very well how to make money out of a public company.
STRONGUS
Take a look at posting 37886 and tell me whether anyone should have taken it seriously, fur handcuffs and all. Also, have you ever heard of a public company FINANCING AN AUDIT.
I can understand some of the yo yos on this board having lost their asses (and obviously in shock and denial) not being able to tell spoof from reality, but I'm shocked that an experienced investor/trader such as yourself would have even considered that the "e-mail from Jane" was anything but a put on.
