Be careful what you wish for. Looks like major selling may be over. Time to move back up.
Nice explanation, Sterling. Many thanks for clearing this up.
Oh, yes, we did taste Aquagold spring water at the April, 2008 meeting in New York City. In fact, I brought home a number of bottles and sent them out by UPS to other people posting on this board who did not attend the meeting.
It would be interesting to find out how the founders of Aquagold Int'l. decided to begin with the Chinese market.
I would imagine that it was Mr. York Tang who proposed this idea. Through his influence, AQUI has obtained a huge contract to sell its product in the Chinese market. I doubt that a start-up enterprise such as AQUI could have secured a contract of this magnitude in Canada or the U.S., considering the competition and the saturation of the North American marketplace with bottled water.
China has the fastest growing upper middle class. More luxury cars are sold there than anywhere else. There is also no other company selling Canadian bottled spring water in China, so China was an obvious choice for Aquagold's product launch.

This is a link to the T/A for Aquagold. To have your question answered, please give them a call and let us know what they say.
I've written to the CEO about our concerns. I don't think any information will be divulged over the phone, so I asked him to address these issues by press release.
Would be nice to see a PR today. I'd like to hear news about AQUI's presence at the USCF event in NYC twelve days ago, information about the filling of the next order and future shipping dates, news about the posting of Third Quarter financials, the when and where of a shareholders meeting, photo galleries on the website being made available to viewers and more.
I'll take my chances with Aquagold's $197M contract with payment guaranteed by Letter of Credit issued by the Bank of China. Do you know of any other pinksheet stock that can make this claim? If not, then be gone.
So why don't you sell and move on?
The source of spring water is set. The new moulds and packaging are in place. The bottling company is under contract. The shipping routes are determined. Customers are lined up. The product has reached store shelves. The contracts are in place, as is a Letter of Credit and guaranteed payment of all deliveries. The sales force is trained, and advertising and promotion are in full swing.
Now it is just a question of time before the payments come rolling in and revenues reported on AQUI quarterly statements are reflected in our share price.
Patience is everything.
Hey, Anvil -- Nice to hear from you. There have been a number of nice developments like the naming of Domingo Silvas III as the new CEO, shipment of an initial order of five containers that cleared customs in Shanghai with payment guaranteed by Letter of Credit, and the product is now on store shelves in China.
In terms of promotion and sales, Aquagold announced they are training fifty more salespeople in Shanghai. The very successful T.V. show "Aquagold Superface 2009" competition has been seen weekly by 20-30 million viewers in China. We just sponsored a big event in New York City celebrating the growth of business relations between the U.S. and China. And Aquagold will be featured in the United Nations Pavillion at the 2010 World Expo to take place in Shanghai in about six months.
As far as pps is concerned, we're probably at rock bottom. I was able to pick up 200,000 shares today at .005. With all the news we expect to see over the next few months, and with reports of 3rd and 4th Quarter sales and profits, I'm hoping to see an increase to .05 by mid-February.
There is supposed to be a shareholders meeting this fall. Some have said it will be held in New Jersey but the company has not announced when or where. Personally, I don't see them fixing a date until the share price is in an uptrend. You can probably see by the chart how many shares have been unloaded in the past few weeks. These are not newly issued shares, but more likely are shares held by the founders that were sold in response to liquidity problems while they wait for payment to come in from China for those five containers.
There was a link on the website under news, and if you scroll down below the report, the most recent PR's are there.
Showing a link to PR's on Yahoo on the website under News, but only on the English side.
I called the Company that bottles water for Aquagold to see if they were preparing another order to ship to China. In the past, they were willing to tell me the status of their orders, but this time they told me to contact Aquagold Int'l. directly for that kind of classified information or just wait for a press release.
That's actually the way it's supposed to work. Nice to see they are running a tighter ship.
Very odd to see almost no volume (2000 shares traded) and such a wide spread (.005 X .007).
I was expecting a PR this week about the USCF event, and perhaps pictures on the website, but it will take a bit more time. I'd like to know what people in attendance had to say
about Aquagold spring water.
No telling where this may close today.
Took the opportunity to add at .036. May not have that chance again.
If they bought recently, they'll be averaging down here.
Nice bounce off the bottom.
I guess everyone has their price, but I think these guys want to build this company into one of the three biggest in their category before they consider selling. I could see them being acquired if they are not able to get financing in the tens of millions of dollars somewhere down the road and their only means of expanding to match the rate of demand for the product would be to become a subsidiary of a larger corporation. I doubt anyone in management would even consider discussing that possibility right now.
When I visited their law office at 7 Dey Street, I spoke with Daniel Makoski whose name appears on the letterhead. Thank you for providing that link.
Glad to see your enthusiasm! Now if L'vov and Company can turn this into a profitable business enterprise, we will be richly rewarded.
Recent PR's haven't pushed the pps into a higher range, and the Company has to take action now. Aquagold needs the money, and management has decided this is the best way to take the bull by the horns and be in charge of its own destiny.
We should see significant price appreciation after the Third Quarter financials come out, so a little patience is required at this point. The CEO said we should get a report about the NYC event of last weekend, so expect another PR soon. Soon, also, there should be an announcement of the time and place of a shareholders meeting that they said would take place in the fall. Hopefully, the website will also be updated with photo galleries in the near future.
If all of these things fall into place, and if the financials show improvement, we should see significant progress in terms of share price.
The number of outstanding shares shown in the I-Box comes from the Transfer Agent and has been pretty constant for quite some time.
Litar -- If you do not like management selling shares into the market, what would you propose they do instead to get the money they need to fund their growth, knowing there is a lagtime of several months before payment for recent deliveries to China kicks in.
Do you have any suggestions?
Looks like the new management team is learning how to work together to get things done. Can't wait to see their Third Quarter numbers.
This means Transfer Online is listing Aurus as one of their active clients. Aurus had been removed from the list because of non-payment of their bill, so this means they have brought their account current with the transfer agent.
Now they can issue that cash dividend I've been asking them about. LOL
This is significant because they announced they were going to clear up this debt, and they have done it. Adds greatly to their street cred.
I think that is a well thought out statement of their objectives. Thanks for posting the translation.
I would call their marketing campaign in China innovative. You should have seen the slide show put together by Marco Hassoun which showed Aquagold receiving an award in the Great Hall of the People for its humanitarian work. Then there is the USCF event in NYC sponsored by Aquagold. Next is the planned in-store promotion of Aquagold water. And the coup de grace, the display of our product at the United Nations Pavillion at the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai.
And lets not forget about the Aquagold Superface Competition which has been seen on T.V. by millions and millions of Chinese citizens.
Has anyone on this board ever organized an advertising campaign in China or elsewhere that was anything like the one described above? I didn't think so. It's so much easier to sit back and minimize their efforts by saying all they do is have other people fill their bottles and then sell them. How depressing.
The credit markets are still tight. Even if they weren't, it is the decision of management how to finance the expansion of their operations. Personally, I think it is a smart move to avoid borrowing from a bank to cover expenses during this period of time, in other words, until that time when sales revenues start coming in, in a big way.
It sure looks like the Company is selling shares, but let's not forget that in the future, they can buy back those shares
using accumulated retained earnings, which would surely strengthen our position as shareholders. They are not issuing new shares, so theoretically, there is no dilution.
Knowing that it takes 90-120 days for the payment to come in
once the product has been shipped, and assuming profit margins of around 8-10%, I believe that at some point in the not too distant future, Aquagold will require some serious financing. I don't believe they can get the $10-15M in financing they will need until they can show serious and steady revenues from their contracts with China.
That said, I expect revenues from sales to easily double each year over the next few years ... $10M by 6/30/10, $20M by 6/30/11, $40M by 6/30/12, $80M by 6/30/13. I believe the share price will begin to more closely reflect both Aquagold's progress and its future potential after the results of the 4th Quarter have been posted. Until then, those who have faith in the direction the Company has taken will have to tolerate the negative comments of those who can't give this innovative company time to reveal itself as one of the great turnaround stories of 2010.
Thanks for posting the numbers. I would say a company showing a 22% gross profit on its initial sales is doing quite well.
They are now in the process of increasing production which will give them the advantage of economies of scale, and they are finding ways to cut costs by working out a deal with an international shipper. I'd say Aquagold is on the right track and will show about $10M in revenues between now and 6/30/10.
I expect net income to be between 8-10%.
We should both use the numbers provided by the Company. For now, they have not given us a breakdown of their pricing structure, but since the product is on the shelves in China, with a little DD, anyone can find out the retail price at which the 500ml bottle is selling. Of course, that won't allow you to precisely determine the cost of production per unit or the profit per container. In time, that information will also be released, but management is being very cautious at this stage because they feel that knowing their profit margin will help their competition.
Wick -- Please show how you calculated the value of five containers at $75K U.S. and how you calculated the cost of the entire shipment at $67.5K. And please let us know the source of your information.
Well, that tells me the Company is working things out with the Transfer Agent. Another good sign. Thanks for that tidbit, moldy.
Im all for that! They need to work on the photo galleries on their website.
Had to sell shares in a bankrupt chemical company to buy more AQUI today. With more news coming soon, I didn't want to miss the chance to pick up a few hundred K at these rock bottom prices. Hearing from the CEO this morning by email further sparked my enthusiasm to support Aquagold International. I've already posted what he said about the company, but his mood was candid and friendly. We also spoke on the phone once before he became CEO. Very nice guy with lots of integrity.
I'm sure we will see upward movement in the days, weeks and months to come. Otherwise, I would not have been loading up today at .0055 and .006. I see AQUI trading at .05-.06
or even higher in four to six months. At some point I will have to take some off the table to get my investment back, but I will hold the rest of my shares for another year or two, or even longer if it looks like we are headed for the Big Board.
Nice chart, Clay. This rock bottom price of .005 is where the founders and their family members first acquired shares. Can't see it going below that level again, especially with all the news in the pipeline.
Good to know progress is being made on the website, and that management is providing answers to our concerns.
More from the email I received from Domingo Silvas today:
"The event in New York went very well. You are going to hear about it soon."
So I assume that means there will be another PR within the next few days.
