I live in DC. Only way to catch MMA is on Spike.
OT: Metal commodities down huge in Europe today. Asian markets also down huge for second day in a row. Wonder if the bloodbath will spill over to US trading -- and if so, whether some money from dumping in other sectors will find its way over here to IPRE.
If you own short-term long positions in silver, gold, titanium, copper, or other mining stocks, watch out! I pulled out of TIE on Friday morning and threw the funds in here.
?? Hardly. 84 percent of the paltry 685,700 shares traded so far today are MM mirror trades (same amount at same time at different prices).
No volume, no news, no interest right now. Save your pumping for the next PR run-up.
Correction: Torchlight was doing that in the late 1990's. Seems like there is a huge gap until 2006 or so. Their focus might have changed. The last flick that is listed had Tara Reid in it. Anyhoo, Torchlight is doing the DVD release of IPRE's previous release, not the current one that is in post-production.
Torchlight Entertainment
Their filmography on IMDB and a quick Google search shows that Torchlight specializes in B-grade erotic comedies:

More simultaneous mirror trades today. MM's are bored and must maintain some perception of volume, even if it is extremely minimal...
Argh.
With BKMP running flat for the past weeks/months, I sure am glad that I have non-penny positions that are paying out well. Been holding TIE as 1/3 of my Scottrade trading account since last December and am loving life! It pays to diversify. Too many Washingtons in the same boat will sink the vessel before it crosses the Delaware.
A year away? I agree that a year is too far out. TFN would miss the boat on MMA's emerging international popularity. Deals are on the table right now and will be finalized this summer in time for the fall season.
We're seeing the dawn of a new rage; and time is money in the network world. I'm betting that TFN and BKMP will have some US penetration by August.
Inertia...
Forget technical indicators. Newton's first law is more appropriate. An object at rest tends to stay at rest and an object in motion tends to stay in motion.
IPRE works as a bottom play for many traders. I'm thinking about jumping in myself -- will watch it for another day or two first. BKMP is sitting on the bottom. It is just about as low as it can go, even for a pinky. Trip zero pennys don't respond to buying pressure in the same way as others that only have two zeros after the decimal point. Flipping is too tempting for many who don't trust pinkys enough to stay long-term. And the MMs have a field day at this low PPS.
If and when BKMP moves above .0010, we'll start to see more logical PPS movement in response to buying and selling patterns.Until then, charts and logic have nothing to do with this stock.
Yes, but it cleared up later in the evening.
Despite my hopes for SPZI in the long-term, I feel like the ultimate bagholder right now. No news, no timetable for news, no volume, and PPS is back where it sat prior to the "launch"...
SPZI = couldn't give a rat's behind about investor relations.
JLT7438...
Stop trying to shut people up. Deflate your ego. This is a pinky. You come across as an arrogant SPZI pumper nazi. And if you're going to keep posting, please check your spelling and grammar; and for [insert your deity here] sake, please start using the hard return key along with punctuation! Reading your postings is worse than deciphering Ulysses or e.e. cummings poetry...
Count the silly mistakes in a small snippet from one of your most recent postings.

And what are you doing still on the board at almost midnight on a Friday? I just got back in from a great night out. Go out and have a good time. Or spend some QT with your spouse/kids. Lighten up...
Now I'm pretty sure you're going to flame me back. Prove me wrong, and don't. G'night.
Nice, boss. Brand new user name created today... just to post a message that this will blow up at 3:30 PM. Crock of ... soup.
Bzzt. Be gone.
Really? It's pretty quiet in terms of volume. Only 59.2 million so far.
Low volume day so far. Is this the "real" volume of trade without the MM's paper trades and shorts? Sandy won't be able to buy back too many shares today with volume this low...
Anybody have L2? How are the bids stacking up?
OT: Where is the bathroom in Japanese...
Benjo-doko?
or Ben-jo-doko des' ka?
Migi des' = on the right
Hidari des' = on the left
As'ko des' = over there
Nice to see the USMC on this board. If BKMP fails to deliver on time, maybe you guys can "accidentally" vector a few jets over the border for a few low-level passes over Winick's house. Or get some skydivers to write "TFN" in smoke trails in the sky over Toronto!
IIP posts quarterly numbers today at market close. Closed at $1.30 yesterday.
Today's Theme Song: Shaking the Tree by Peter Gabriel.
:)
It's gut check time. Serious bashers just migrated over from other boards, massive volume might be major dumping or short covering... Who needs a stochastic trend right now. This is a cusp -- it goes up huge or drops down and dies from here.
The question now is do you feel lucky?
I'm holding. See all you longs on the far side of .0004 -- think I'll just lurk for a while and keep a close eye on the news feeds.
Gooooooooooo BKMP!
Some folks mentioned GWGO moving like this just before it gapped huge. Check the GWGO chart. It touched .0001 and then spun at .0002 for a few days just before the rocket ignited.
b/a is now .0001 x .0002
It's happened.
Daily volume... Correct me if I'm wrong, but during a stock buy-back, aren't the daily number of shares bought back limited to no more than 10 percent of the total daily volume?
If this is correct, it would make sense for the MMs to create artificial volume. And the recent surge in PR releases (the last two of which were pure fluff) helps to paint a picture of consistent volume while churning between 2 and 3.
Doesn't seem like anybody on this board has been able to fill an order at 2... I think there's a lot of shares being exchanged by the MMs to support the buy-back.
I just hope that a week or two from now, we see a real PR with either a television (not radio or web) broadcast deal with a clarification of the share structures. That's the only way this will move above .0005.
No trades at all in the first 45 minutes today. Looks like anybody who's planning to dump their shares has already done so. MM's have pulled the spread nice and wide to .0121x.02 -- killed all action.
Spelling correction:
I yam! I yam!
IIP is gapping in pre-market. B/A is $1.42x$1.43 right now.
Some financial sites rely on referrer URL's. So adjusting your pop-up blocker won't fix problems with viewing certain pages. It may be a firewall issue on your computer. If you're using Norton Internet Security, you may have to adjust or turn off Privacy Control.
Try clicking on the "BKMP Quote/Level II - News - Quote - Chart" link from this board. Then click on the "News" link. If you get an error page instead of the PR listings, then it's definitely a problem with your firewall settings.
Going to be a good day on Wall Street today. Europe and Asia were up big overnight --- in part because dollar is weaker. Add Bernanke's clarification and this morning's trading should be brisk.
Hope some of the boost goes to BKMP. I'm long on BKMP since late February, happy with current developments, and willing to wait this one out for as long as it takes.
Some huge blocks at .0002 went through late yesterday afternoon. I believe his numbers.
More good BKMP news. TFN just acquired MMA Weekly.com. Yesterday's PR announced stock buy-back. Two consecutive days of outstanding news.

I find that Scottrade is pretty accurate. Now at 85,743,799 shares traded in the first 5.5 minutes.
Massive volume this AM.
54,025,799 shares traded in the first 2.5 minutes.
Wheeeeee!
With the volume comes the bashers... It's like spring has come to BKMP, complete with the pollen and hormones. I love it when the bashers come out of the woodwork.
:)
Bad URL. Here's one that works. Just string the two lines together.

Minor PR from a Canadian online ticketing agency that happens to sell tix to a lot of TFN events. Not really important, IMO.
That's pretty funny. LOL. Good eye for detail, NRA.
Now, I'll shut up about the web site. Spoke my $.01 (Canadian) worth.
The web site: Minor yet Major
I agree with you Harry -- TFN is growing its network at a crazy fast pace. But having said that, it's a shame that Sandy isn't even willing to spend more than $5 or $6 dollara a month on his hosting package. If he did, he could actually have POP email accounts that would auto-forward to whichever email account he prefers to use. It's called preservng the anonymity of your primary email account while maintaining a professional appearance. All for another $75 a year.
Looks me like some over-worked designer at Oceano got talked into doing BKMP's site for free. Mistake. Even if you just toss up a placeholder page for your corporate identity, you want to make sure that it doesn't look like some cookie-cutter template from Microsoft Front Page. Especially, if you're not planning to make any design changes for a while...
TFN is doing gangbusters. My beef is with the linkage between TFN and BKMP. If I could invest in TFN without going through BKMP, I would. TFN is focused on broadcasting and gaining market share. Sandy is focused on... what ,we don't really know but you can bet that he'll do well out of it.
I'm hoping that a couple of few years from now, I'll be able to look back and remember when my NASDAQ Fight Network shares were listed under BKMP on the trip zero pinkies...
The current Blackoutmedia.com web site is absolutely pathetic. Even for a placeholder banner, it sucks. Look at the HTML source code...
The description meta tag says "BKDP is dedicated to providing professional design at an affordable price." And the keywords meta tag says "Interior Design, High end Kitchens, "...
Which is even more surprising when you consider that a professional advertising and media company did the BKMP site (along with LAW and TFN's web site). The BKMP domain was registered under Tucows on 1/5/06 by some guy named Peter Borovilos of Oceano Inc., based out of Toronto. Go to their flash web site (www.oceanoinc.com) and click on the "case studies" link. You'll see TFN listed.
Looks like the blackoutmedia.com web site was a total rush job. Sheesh. They could at least have provided another layer like an "about" link that goes to a brief company description with clickable links to LAW and TFN's site.
BTW, I found all this info by going through Network Solutions and Tucows "whois" search engines and then digging around further with key work searches.
Give me a few million shares and I could redo their site...
Just spent about half an hour googling TFN, MMA,and BKMP. Found a bunch of blogs by MMA fans, many of whom are waiting for TFN to start broadcasting stateside. Here's one of the blog discussions:
www.t-nation.com/readTopic.do?id=942085
The range of MMA fans is pretty wide. I live in Washington, DC. I was shooting pool about a week ago and MMA was playing (Spike broadcast) on one of the TV's in the corner. So I took a break from 9 ball and watched dudes beat each other silly with:
(1) a 45-year-old government accountant (male)
(2) a 23-year-old law school student (female)
(3) a 65-year-old retired janitor (male)
(4) a 35-year-old NIH neuroscientist (female)
(5) two Dutch guys who work for the World Bank
Not everybody knew the rules but everybody had fun. It beats watching a real fight in a pool hall.
To make a long story short, MMA has a growing following. There is definitely a market for a 24 hour fight channel in the U.S. Furthermore, once Armed Forces Network gets a hold of it, it will be playing in every recreation room on every ship in the U.S. Navy. Somehow, I imagine that the guys and gals who rack bombs underneath F-18 wings (and drop them from a great height) aren't too squeamish.
Go BKMP!
Good morning all. Asian and European markets are up strong, Google is gapping HUGE on surprise increase in profits, and the sunrise here on the mid-Atlantic seaboard is beautiful. That plus a huge mug of java makes Friday perfect.
Hope today sees some decent volume in BKMP --- Given the low volume this week and the fact that this is a Friday, anything over 200 million would be nice.
I agree RU. He/she should read the historical thread just like everybody else. Do your own DD. Lazy folk drive me crazy. Especially if they thank you in advance.
My response usually involves pointing at a rolling donut with some carnal advice, or giving directions to the nearest bridge over open water... :)
