Nerd86, I was referring to this post by Mide:
"Rob has confirmed Delta Aero is gone...Extinct."
I would think it would be possible the SEC is or could investigate GTE for several reasons.
1-Apogeo Enterprises Corporation which is dissolved. That was a 50 million dollar joint venture agreement and a material event at the time of release. I would think it would have been a material event and should have had a press release when dissolved.
http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0EIN/is_2005_July_14/ai_n14788320
2- If Delta Aero was a shell company set up to gain government contracts for DAV, and was indeed part of Globetel. There would be ethics and possibly fraud involved.
If it was not a shell company whatever the amount of money paid to Delta Aero for the technology for Skybot and Invader should show up on the next quarterly report. (Rob quoted " I know very little about Delta Aero except that GTE acquired the technology for Skybot and Invader from it}."
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/replies.asp?msg=10522929
3-The Russian deal.
Thanks Mide, I hope this don't mean the SEC is or will be investigating this company.
Now that everything is cleaned up hopefully we can ROCK AND ROLL.
Mide is looking into the situation per his post. I do not want to post any pre mature thoughts.

Apogeo Enterprises Corp. Dissolved before the Amex hearing. They planned to invest $50 million into Globetel.

Whats going on here?
Joint Venture Agreement - Apogeo Enterprises Corporation
On July 14, 2005, we announced that our wholly-owned subsidiary, Sanswire Networks, LLC had entered into a joint venture agreement to deploy Stratellites throughout the country of Colombia. The agreement with Florida-based Apogeo Enterprises Corporation calls for a total of five Stratellites to be launched over the Latin American country to build a wireless broadband network that would be the first of its kind in the world.

Interesting,Delta Aero dissolved before AMEX meeting.

I wonder where they went.
Mide, it was also funny that at the share holders meeting you mentioned that Tim spoke to you about the value of each company as individual IPO's.
Here is a post I made back in April.

The deeper I look into this company the more confused I get.
Don't get me wrong, I love this company, I want to see them succeed big time, but I never trust anyone.
Mide,Tim Huff and Bob Jones of Sanswire own Delta Aero privately. From past questions and answers to Rob.

Can't believe you just attempted that here. Don't know what you are driving at.
I posted a link to local Flordia companies and the names. For you to draw your own conclusions.
Like Sanswire, Voz Brazil, Lexington Communications etc. are all part of Globetel.
Seems no one found any worthwhile information on BMT COMMUNICATIONS, INC. and SWS International.

"other than that, what has changed? nodda -pit"
Other then 100 million more shares. Other then that nothing has changed----same missed goals and same lack of credibility.
jfburk, I forgot to answer this part of your question:
"You buy what you are told that is negative and ignore anything positive about the company. My question to you is why you are here?"
I am here because I weigh all the facts on any company, both positive and negative, by doing this I have made a lot of money on GTE and plan to continue to do so. I neither pump nor bash....just trade with the flow.
You even said you would give them to the end of the year, which showed you are not all that confident. I would give them much more time....
Tomorrow should be a very good day...good luck.
Jfburk, I certainly give you a lot of credit and would want you on my side if I owned a company. You know there are positives and negatives with every company. This is an exciting young company and I believe for every positive there is a negative. While I do give you credit in pointing out many positives you do have to look as some negatives and agree sometime. Here are a couple of negative's (which doesn't mean they can't be overcome.)
They are not dept free if they issue the 1.1 million of 7% Convertible Notes, (comes to $77.000 per year) right now the interest they will pay is more then the profit made from VOIP last quarter.
Caribou is seeking more than $700,000 in damages. The Company disputes the allegations of the claim and is vigorously defending it. The final hearing before the arbitrators is set for mid-November 2006.
That could hurt should they lose.
Jermek- Finally someone with a real handle of what is going on.
Great honest post. Like this part , and agree this is what the silent majority believes.
"If a company makes a product......and it costs that company almost as much to produce that product as it does to sell it, then the margin is small and it has trouble making a black bottom line after all the overhead is added in. This is primarily the reason (IMO) that GTE has shown a red bottom line for the last three years. This is not a bashing attempt here...this is fact taken from the last three published 10K's.
If GTE gets the strat off the ground and it eventually shows it's promise, then all this will disappear. Money will come pouring in and the stock price will zoom.
That is why I continue to hang around."
Wingshot, Posted this back in April:

Another reason why I would like to know the names of the group who owned Lexington Global Net, maybe a connection to GTE somewhere.
Thanks Nerd, Dosn't really tell much other then in the original filing the company will be managed by it's members and the attorney who filed the LLC application along with the name of the organizer: Patrick Mills Sr. Never have I ever saw a company being purchased without some discloser of who the principles were who signed the agreement's. Also when a company gets purchased thier should have been a PR.
http://corp.sos.state.ga.us/imaging/11542076.pdf
From Crash: "I would still like to know a little more about the Lexington transaction/acquisition first, and how that might possibly relate."
I would like to know who were the owners from which this purchase was made. I did a lot of searching and couldn't find any information. I just think this could end up being another reason Amex is looking into this company. Just maybe Tim Huff may have been involved in the ownership. Anyone know the answer. All IMO.
Now that is great research. So what you are saying is if the news is mediocore or negative the share price will drop. If the news is good the price will go up. No news shareprice languishes .
Who would have ever thought that?
The article was written by Jeremy Maddock who owns many websites and must get paid by the clicks from his advertisers. I think he just scrambled the words from the previous articles and wrote this. I tried to find the map of Globetelowners but it wouldn't upload. Here is more information on him.

In 2005 Dumas became a partner in Sanswire Europe. Don't you find it strange how a small company like GTE gets involved with so many worldwide business dealings with prominent people and still has such little success over the years? It should only take one good connection to be successful. When does Tim Huff find the time to meet and know all these people worldwide? Could it be some sort of an International conspiracy to finance GTE and manipulate the stock and make millions?
Get ready for another cycle all over again. Huff is very smart and knows how to build a company for himself and his business partners.
crashtestsuperstar, I am sure you know everything about this company with over 700 posts in less then 2 months. Can you tell me if His Royal Highness Tengku Sharif Laksamana Perlis Dato' Seri DiRaja Syed Razlan ibni Syed Putra Jamalullail. HRH Dato' is still involved with Globetel Asia and how has he helped this company's progress. Global Asia is owned 80 percent by GlobeTel and 20% by an Asian group "Intellix".
Thanks.
According to this we are trading on the Amex.

Vern, thank you for answering my question. I didn't want to put you through the ringer like others have so I deleated the question. I am certainly happy you caught it and answered. I respect you and feel it is an honor to read your input. Again thank you.

Some interesting information from Vern's website:
"Last year, we designed and began construction of a high altitude, solar powered telecommunications airship (platform) for a company back East. It was designed to fly at 65,000 feet and remain aloft for three hours. Initial parts fabrication was started at Redlands Municipal Airport in Redlands, CA, and assembly began at San Bernardino International Airport in San Bernardino, CA. The airship design endurance was increased from 3 hours at altitude to 8 days with the use of improved high capacity lithium storage batteries. The project was later taken over by NASA engineers and moved to better facilities in Palmdale, CA. The vehicle is scheduled to begin flight testing at Edwards AFB in June of 2006."

Holein1, I would say the Amex gave them more time to prepare for the more detailed and added charges. Of course we don't know the details of the charges and probably never will. Siriuslyricher responded with a good explanation.
As far as your question: " Do you think the AMEX is waiting for something good to happen ? or bad ?....to make their job easier". My guess is as good as yours and I type to slow to respond to the comments, pro and con, I would receive, should I venture to give an opinion.

Holein1, This will explain the reason.

closing cost $1.07
Today's closing .42
Loss: .65
Loss from today's closing: .42 divided into .65= 154.76%
I guess I should have said the value is 155% less.
Logandean, one of your previous posts.

On May 12th, closed $1.07. I heard that from you before and responded to that post. (That's a 155% lose from todays closing price.)
I will agree that by buying now, is a better buy now then any other time in the past few years.

Your right, and unless you have gains to offset your losses you can only deduct $3000. a year for 8 years. Sometimes the washrule is helpful.
<<<<<dfmantx writes:
griff - you don't lose the deduction by the wash rule, you just lose the deduction for that year, you can apply those losses to future tax returns, just not the current years. So, don't let the wash rule dictate your trading, be aware of it, but do not let it dictate how you trade you will not lose the deduction.>>>>>>
<<< imo, this stock is worth to much to kill it. this stock is like a cash machine for all who play the game properly. imho,
.......they can kick us to the curb, but that doesn't mean the end of the company. all it means, it's a new beginning somewhere else.
question boy>>>>
I like your thinking.... Over 250 million lost in Market Cap this year. I wonder how much of that went to their funding partners...AKA manipulators, They will be back.
During the Russian deal Huff was in Switzerland... lot of private banking accounts can be made there. Imho you will see the Start fly soon ...even if it is digitally enhanced. Huff will do everything possible to survive. There were a lot of pumper's at $4.00 less at 40 cents. The cash machine will continue soon, and it will be a new beginning. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Seth is acuminating right now. A whole new group of people will be getting in soon. I never trusted this company, but realized long ago it is a cash machine and traded it as such.
Buy on bad news...Sell on good news!
Justfrank....
"I think everyone can agree that there are quite a few people with impressive resumes that work for GTE, you need to ask what drives them in the face of what looks like ridicule and suspicion from so many sources, articles, lawsuits and delisting to risk their reputations? If this was happening with your employer could you continue? Would you? What would make you continue to move forward in the face of these odds?"
You could also ask... why so many good people left in the past. Was it because they might have known something like this would someday catch up with GTE? Time will tell.
Also the unknown.... who will be leaving next.
It's a wash. IMO
That is the value----- it can only lose 48 cents...Max.
Seth's article no longer has any effect. He only stated what GTE released in it's filings.
I wouldn't be surprised if someone who once had close ties with GTE (like one of their former investors)is paying Seth. I am surprised so many knowledgeable pumper's and bashers didn't read into this company a long time ago .....and made money along the way by selling on the hype.
"There is no great honor these days in being a long (very long) long."......
not alot of profit either it seems
Seth didn't add anything we already didn't know. Everything has already been valued into the share price.
MNCS read this very funny!
Low read your post on the GTE board and posting here.
Right in Cuban's home city, shares of Manchester Inc. (otcbb: MNCS.OB - news - people ) have risen 222% in the past 21 months to a recent $6.35, generating a $210 million market cap on paper. That looks fluffy for a young company with (a) few employees, (b) no revenues, (c) a negative net worth, (d) just $116,000 in the bank and (e) an abrupt change in business. After unsuccessfully trying to become a copper, nickel or platinum miner, Manchester last year rechristened itself a used-car dealer--but has yet to operate even a single lot. A Manchester official tells FORBES an acquisition is in the offing and investors see an "exceptional business opportunity." --M.R.

From the 1st quarter report:
Sanswire Networks LLC Commences Float Testing of Sanswire II
On March 1, 2006, we announced that our Sanswire Networks LLC subsidiary had successfully floated the Sanswire II Technology Demonstrator Airship in Palmdale, California. This initial testing phase marked the first test of many currently planned for the program. This first phase will test the integrated subsystems within the Stratellite. The Sanswire float test followed our streamlined test procedure in order to validate the envelope integrity with the Sanswire proprietary lifting system and carbon composite structure. The testing process was governed by test procedures through a strict Quality Management System, which ensures both the safety and success of this demonstration.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
From Rocky's Board:
It should be obvious to all the picture in recent article certainly is not a finished product. My best wishes to Bob and his crew as they prepare to test S-2, the technology demonstrator.
From prior post...
I asked Mr. Huff if that was Sanswire 2 in the link below.
http://es.biz.yahoo.com/18082006/24/foto/bob-jones-president-of-sanswire-networks-holds-made-of-carb...
answer: "That is the gas containment system. But to answer the question, yes that is the body of Sanswire II."
also, "seams are where carbon rods are inserted and the gas containment system is divided into chambers"
"There is a lot that this photo doesn't show and that was done on purpose."

I have never been more Bullish on this stock since back here (day before the Russian Deal):
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=9051683
If this is the case a funding deal will come first, once the funding is in place (more dilution-but not a factor) Then Press Releases, Funding Deal buyer starts to drive pps up, your on your own from there. All IMO-been right 28 times wrong twice. Made a post to someone which I had deleted (not to you Doc) no to buy options, I figured it wasn't in my interest to discourage him so I sold them at what I knew was his bid price which he posted during the weekend and I sold them Monday. Most of the time my forward thinking is too forward. Also 86 straight profitable trades on Sonus. I learned a long time ago you can beat a stock but not the stockmarket. It's not luck.
The last time I posted to you:
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=9024728 also look at the replies.
I know I don't think like everyone else.
A little forward thinking about AMEX delisting and stock price.
1- Financing comes through.
2-PR. Strat testing
3-PR. Wi-Max deal or Germany completed.
4-Amex delisting.
0r
1-2-3 and win Amex case.
IMO Amex is already factored in the share price and a win would be a added huge boost.
The tension is building, and may be fun again.
Institutional buying will happen, not because they like the company but because they do not want to get left out should GTE ever succeed.
----Time will tell soon--- at .58 cents.
Would like to see a financing deal come through. Would be a good sign the "boy's" are still supporting the company and they can survive longer then Dec. Then PR's, Like ACTC yesterday. From .40 yesterday to over $2.00 today.
duzibotz61- Totally agree, had to wade to 15 posts on the class action lawsuit, when it has been discussed here long ago and it is irrelevant when everyone already knew it will end with only one law firm as the lead plaintiff. Who cares how many are left, after the Amex delisting it could end up with more and for an extended time period. I don't know and don't care- let the legal departments handle it. It only seems to mean something to 1 poster here. Most companies have insurance that cover class action lawsuits.
You Yahoo posters, why don't you take your monotonous, repetitive posts over to the Yahoo board where they belong. You are cluttering up this board with meaningless posts and ancient history, mostly discussed in previous posts long ago. That includes the bashers and pumper's. Thanks Danielle for bring your followers here.
I recall the same thing, (I think it was the shareholders meeting). Also from The May 2006 quarterly report it pretty well described what Sanswire was doing: "first phase will test the integrated subsystems within the Stratellite." I believe it was pictured by the reporter. Don't know why so many people are getting upset over the STRAT as it appears. It makes perfect since to test the components before the final prototype.

Don't know if the Amex did or didn't put a stop to the communicating. But as Rob stated, "I'm working my ass off to obtain reputable publicity."
Sort of tells you they have not had much information to pass along. At this stage of the 3 year plan "reputable publicity" should be a matter of picking which PR should be presented.
The pumper's on this board must have their stock in a 401K where they can't get a tax write off. The bashers are bashing a .65 cent stock and pointing out flaws from the past, when they should have realized these flaws way back then and made money on them. For everyone else caught between this are the real true GTE stock holders and deserve to make some money on their investment.
There was a time when a person (before computers and when stocks moved by 1/8 points) would buy a stock and hold long and be rewarded. I pumped this company to people thinking like that a couple of years ago who were my friends who bought many, many thousands of shares and are still holding. When I recommended this company to them I thought they would trade it and not hold long. I realized before the Sanswire 1 open house something was wrong here and continually traded this stock. They held and recommended it to their friends where they work in MA. and Ct. and I have a feeling some of these people are on this board.
The point is I will never pump a stock again because I don't know what everyone's objective is.
I won't ever bash this company for 2 reasons,
1- I always want to see the retail make money and never get any pleasure to see them lose. I can't see how someone else can.
2- My friends will kill me.... it's bad enough when we meet I have to pay the tab. And this company better go up, because it is starting to make them drink more and getting very costly!
This is true but I also wanted to add a little humor here.
