$IMTV now # 8 on iHub's breakout board!!
$IMTV just posted this on Twitter: https://twitter.com/ImaginationTVCo/status/1001525279376932864
I hear you, though I think $FRZT has been more transparent than most companies in the OTC, and we're entering the time of year when location-based games generate the most revenue. Could they have given us more info about future plans? Sure, but timing is everything and the best time for major updates is when more people are outside playing these kinds of games. The Munzee crew has a history of generating millions of dollars in revenue, and with more resources via the merger with Freeze Tag, this could be a very exciting summer for $FRZT.
Good point.
This is interesting:
CHINA’S OURPALM INVESTS $2.3M IN GARFIELD GAME MAKER ANIMOCA BRANDS
http://gva.vc/en/about/news/495/?PAGEN_2=5
"Chinese web and mobile game developer Ourpalm has invested $2.3 million in Animoca Brands, the maker of mobile games such as one based on the Garfield cartoons.
The deal shows there continues to be a lot of investment activity in mobile gaming, which market researcher Newzoo believes will reach $30 billion in 2015.
Hong Kong-based Animoca Brands (a spinout from Animoca) went public in January on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). The company raised $2.4 million from that earlier transaction. Under the deal, Ourpalm is investing $2.3 million (3.1 million Australian dollars) into Animoca Brands to obtain newly issued shares that give Ourpalm 11.11 percent of the company’s capital. The deal will help Animoca expand to the Chinese mobile game market.
Ourpalm paid 21 cents a share. The transaction comes after Animoca Brands struck a partnership to have Ourpalm distribute Animoca Brands’ Doraemon Gadget Rush game. Steven Hu, co-CEO of Ourpalm, will become a member of Animoca Brands’ board. Ourpalm has the option to invest $5 million if the share price reaches 150 percent of the current price of its investment.
Animoca Brands is a spin-off of Animoca (Appionics Holdings Ltd.). Both companies make mobile games, but Animoca Brands specializes in offerings for iOS and Google Play based on brand names that have been popularized in other media like television or comics.
For example, Animoca Brands licences from Paws the rights to the character Garfield and all supporting characters from Jim Davis’ iconic comic strip. The Garfield releases developed by Animoca Brands under this license had been downloaded more than 40 million times as of January. The company has also made apps based on the Doraemon, Ben 10, Astro Boy, and Ultraman brand names.
Animoca Brands is also working on its own original titles. Its offerings cover nearly every genre, including adventure, time management, action, shoot-em-up, role-playing, online games, edutainment, and more. Altogether, Animoca Brands’ 170 games have been downloaded more than 130 million times.
Ourpalm was founded in Beijing in 2004 as a government licensed telecommunications and service provider, and it transformed itself into a mobile game and social web game developer. In May 2012, Ourpalm went public on the Shenzhen Stock exchange. The company has more than 2,000 talented individuals and has made more than 200 titles."
$FRZT's AR licensing agreement with Garfield may still prove to be very lucrative...
They did make improvements to the game, but it seems things were put on hold because of the merger with Munzee. Another update to Garfield GO would be nice, but if it's also released in many more countries (such as China where Garfield is very popular), then we could see a huge run.
$FRZT
If shareholders are to be informed of a big update on Garfield GO, then it will happen soon (IMHO) because Garfield GO's 1 year anniversary and Garfield's 40th birthday are in June.
$FRZT
I actually emailed Freeze Tag Game Support (https://freezetag.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new)
and they confirmed they definitely have more plans for Garfield GO.
$FRZT
Garfield GO’s 1 year anniversary and Garfield’s 40th birthday are in June. I contacted Freeze Tag Games Support last week, and they did say they definitely have future plans for Garfield GO. I believe they've been waiting to do something big in June (perhaps a major game update before launching in more countries). I also look forward to new AR/location-based game announcements, and further developments with Munzee, Wallabee and ZeeTours.
$FRZT
I got the same email. Glad to see them staying on top of this.
$FRZT
I sent a message to Freeze Tag Games Support, asking if Garfield GO is still being developed.
Their response:
"We are definitely planning to do more with Garfield GO in the future!"
NEWS: Freeze Tag Announces “Cirque Du Munz” Munzee’s Seventh Birthday Events
TUSTIN, CA, May 24, 2018 – Freeze Tag (OTC: FRZT), a leading creator of location-based mobile social games, today announced celebration plans for their flagship game Munzee’s 7th anniversary. Throughout the month of July, Munzee will be celebrating “Cirque Du Munz” birthday events, which are circus themed event packages players can purchase to host their own Munzee birthday parties.
Similar to the Go Green Earth Day Events in the Spring, these event packages have become a popular addition to the game’s community of players and a strong revenue driver. In previous years July has been the company’s most profitable month due in part to the increase in event activity.
“Throughout our seven years we have gone bigger and bigger with our birthday celebrations and this year is no different,” said Rob Vardeman, President of Freeze Tag. “We’re excited for players to meet us under the big top and celebrate Munzee’s stupendous seven years.”
Freeze Tag will also host two Birthday Bash events of their own. The first will be held in North Texas, where Munzee was founded, on July 14, 2018 at Celebration Park in Allen, TX. Players can RSVP to the event on the Munzee Calendar here: https://calendar.munzee.com/MHQ7/
The company’s West Coast team will host their first official event on July 21, 2018 at Irvine Regional Park in Orange, California. The event will feature a new Munzee Virtual Garden, unique in-game achievements, giveaways and more. Players can RSVP to the event on the Munzee Calendar here: https://calendar.munzee.com/7WestCoast/
“We are dedicated to growing the player base on the west coast and surrounding area,” said Craig Holland, CEO of Freeze Tag. “The California team is excited to meet Munzee players from all over, celebrate with food and prizes, and have a great time playing Munzee.”
Freeze Tag is also sponsoring two player hosted birthday events as well this July. One in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on July 7, 2018 and another series of events in Stuttgart-Hohenheim, Germany from July 6-8, 2018. Players interested in hosting their own Munzee Birthday Events can learn more on the Munzee Blog at www.munzeeblog.com/cirque-du-munz-birthday-events/.

$FRZT
The right news will make $FRZT fly. Lately, we've been seeing news every week, so it's quite possible that a significant news update will arrive within the next 24 hours.
I understand where you're coming from, however, those PRs were before the merger with Munzee. The merger with Munzee did happen as promised, and other plans obviously changed. Considering that Garfield GO continues to add content/prizes, I think it's quite possible that they still have plans for further expansion. Here's an example of a recent update: https://www.facebook.com/garfieldgogame/photos/a.1923627717913905.1073741828.1853099678300043/2078067922469883/
Also, another organization they partnered with is the Shepparton Heritage Centre, as mentioned in this PR: http://www.freezetag.com/zeetours-launches-authorized-reseller-program/
So, that's two partnerships they announced in Q1 as promised.
Yep.. the right news will make this fly.
One of their partnerships is with the American Diabetes Association: http://www.freezetag.com/ada/
Regarding Garfield GO, it seems they put further expansion into other countries on hold ($FRZT mentioned other European countries, and a few of us on this message board speculated about China).
They have continued to add content and prizes, which leads me to believe they still have plans for expansion. Timing is key, so maybe Garfield's big 40th birthday in June is the right time.
That being said, I just saw sponsored posts from $GRPN for ZeeTours (on FB and Instagram), which is a good sign IMO.
I also like the fact that they have a few different games/revenue streams, with a much stronger team than they had before the merger.
They have continued to update the game with new prizes each month, but you are correct that they have not released any news about it in a while. I wonder if they've been holding something in their pocket that could be leveraged with Garfield's big 40th birthday in June.
With the right news, this could really fly. Considering their worldwide licensing agreement with Garfield, I'm curious to see if $FRZT leverages Garfield's big 40th birthday in June (either with Garfield GO or another game).
I'm in. GLTA :)
$FRZT
I think you may be confusing Munzee's revenue prior to the merger (1st quarter 2017) with $FRZT's revenue which was not much at all before the merger. So this is literally the first time $FRZT (as the newly combined company) has reported close to half a million in revenue for one quarter (1st quarter of 2018). Good things to come IMO.
This is the first time $FRZT has reported close to half a million dollars of revenue in a quarter, and they are constantly creating new revenue streams. This is a whole new company after the merger with Munzee. I can see the PPS going much higher with the right news and forthcoming 10-Qs.
GLTA
Munzee now has 350,000+ players worldwide: https://statzee.munzee.com
I think one of the sponsorships/partnerships they were referring to was the ADA, which is a way to promote $FRZT games: http://www.freezetag.com/ada/
They showed close to half a million in revenue for the first quarter, which could easily become 2 million in revenue for the year. However, considering the momentum they have with their games/revenue streams, the revenues could double, triple, quadruple, and so on.
I also think they have a chance to leverage Garfield's 40th birthday in June, whether it's with Garfield GO or another game featuring Garfield.
NEWS: Freeze Tag Celebrates “Munzee Mania” in Minnesota
TUSTIN, CA, May 17, 2018 – Freeze Tag (OTC: FRZT) celebrated with a community of players at the inaugural Munzee Mania event in the Twin Cities of Minnesota last weekend. The event was an official gathering for players of Freeze Tag’s flagship location-based game, Munzee.
Munzee Mania included four events throughout several southern suburbs of Minneapolis, MN, and all the activities were completely organized and run by Munzee player hosts and volunteers. Event locations included the Mall Of America and parks in Burnsville, Apple Valley and Savage, MN. The main event on Saturday drew more than 100 players from all across the country who joined in the fun. As one of the first large scale Munzee events in the Great Lakes region, Freeze Tag President Rob Vardeman was on hand to celebrate the milestone. “The community in Minnesota has steadily been growing for some time and Munzee Mania is a testament to that growth,” said Rob Vardeman. “I had a blast on my trip to the Twin Cities and the hosts did an extraordinary job. I’m thrilled to see our player base continue to expand in more regions of North America and the world.”
The Great Lakes area is home to a growing player community, so it’s no surprise it has turned into a hot spot for a wide variety of Munzee Virtual Gardens. Players create “gardens” featuring unique shapes and patterns by deploying different colors of virtual game pieces in specific GPS locations. The Twin Cities area is home to nine completed Virtual Gardens in a variety of shapes including a pink sprinkled donut, a robot, a hamburger, and an eagle. In order to complete that many gardens, thousands of virtual Munzees were deployed by players all over the world, a testament to the strength of the worldwide Munzee player community.Virtual Gardens are often a draw to Munzee events for the amount of game pieces that can be captured by players. Gardens also present an opportunity for players worldwide to earn points by deploying game pieces that can be captured by players attending the events, even if they are unable to attend the event in person.
“Thanks to deployments from Munzee players all over the world, we were able to create a series of major Munzee events that provided everyone the opportunity to Munzee ‘til they drop,” said Jake Loesch, a Munzee Mania co-founder and host. “Thank you to Munzee for their ongoing support and dedication in helping us make our initial ideas and thoughts into a reality. Planning for Munzee Mania 2019 has already begun.”
Munzee Mania continued a busy month for the player community including events in the United Kingdom this weekend, and GeoWoodstock in Cincinnati, OH at the end of May. The high profile series of events also helped Munzee reach a weekend total of 1.5 million captures and nearly 20,000 new deploys worldwide.

Some things I like:
Greater revenues than ever reported by $FRZT in a quarter (almost have a million dollars)
New streams of revenue (Munzee game pieces, ZeeTours, etc.)
National Sponsorship of the ADA which helps to promote their games (http://www.freezetag.com/ada/)
The development of new games (one new game announcement could make the PPS shoot up like a rocket)
New game prizes continue to be added to Garfield GO, indicating continued development of the game and the potential leveraging of Garfield’s 40th Birthday in June (launching in many more countries is quite possible)
They have an awesome team (http://www.freezetag.com/about-us/team/)
Good points, Kenny. I agree that the warmer weather will bring even more activity to $FRZT games.
Changes related to the merger caused a small decrease in revenue for the Munzee crew (for the first quarter of 2018, compared to the first quarter in 2017). This is the first time $FRZT has ever reported close to half a million in revenues for one quarter, so this is a whole new ball game! Now that the merger is complete and they continue to create new revenue streams, it is very reasonable to expect that revenues will only increase moving forward.
This is the first time $FRZT has ever reported close to half a million dollars in revenue for one quarter!
The merger with Munzee made this a whole new company.
Considering how proactive they are with game development, I expect revenues to increase significantly.
Agreed.
$FRZT’s 10-Q is expected today or tomorrow (in 2016 it was released on 5/16 and in 2017 it was released on 5/15).
This 10-Q is the first full quarterly report after the merger with Munzee, and the Munzee crew has a history of generating millions of dollars in revenue.
The Munzee crew is fantastic at creating millions of dollars in revenue, and the 10-Q (showing numbers from the first full quarter after the merger with Munzee) is expected in about a week!
Revenues have never been better for $FRZT.
NEWS: Freeze Tag to Launch Seven Additional ZeeTours Routes
TUSTIN, CA, May 9, 2018 – Freeze Tag (OTC: FRZT), a leading creator of location-based mobile social games, will launch seven new zany walks in their city tour app ZeeTours™ by the end of the month. In addition to the previous 27 city walking tours across the United States, four new routes have been added. The new tours now available are in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; Tampa, Florida; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Cincinnati, Ohio. Development is currently in place to also release new tours in Boston, Massachusetts; Niagara Falls, New York; and Baltimore, Maryland. The new tours are expected to be released over the following weeks. All US tours are available for purchase at www.zeetoursapp.com, in the mobile app via in-app purchase, and through the Groupon app and website.
The release of the Cincinnati ZeeTour coincides with GeoWoodstock, a festival celebrating location-based gaming. Although primarily focused on Geocaching, the annual gathering has become a popular venue for players of all geolocation games, including Freeze Tag’s flagship game Munzee. As part of Munzee’s Coexist Campaign, representatives from Freeze Tag, including President Rob Vardeman, will be on site at GeoWoodstock. “Like many of our players, I also started out geocaching and have continued to support all location-based games as a part of Munzee’s Coexist Campaign,” said Rob Vardeman, President of Freeze Tag. “We’re excited to join our fellow players in Cincinnati, where we’ll be promoting the Coexist movement. It only made sense to launch a ZeeTour as well to give players yet another option to explore and learn more about The Queen City.”
Featuring self-guided scavenger hunts, the ZeeTours smartphone app guides players around significant points of interest within a city location on a circular route. Players are given “challenges” to complete as they hunt for the next location. These challenges may be based on players’ actual GPS location, a quiz, or some type of photo-based activity. Points of interest on a ZeeTour may be of historical significance indicated by a marker, artwork such as a sculpture, or public/commercial establishments of note such as parks, museums, or public buildings. ZeeTours players will explore, discover and exercise their way through cities across the USA.

NEWS: Freeze Tag Launches Flat Lou Virtual Munzee
"TUSTIN, CA, May 2, 2018 – Freeze Tag (OTC: FRZT), a leading creator of location-based mobile social games, today announced a new virtual product for their flagship mobile scavenger hunt game Munzee. Freeze Tag is proud to announce the release of Flat Lou, the latest in a line of character game pieces which also include Flat Rob and Flat Matt. Released Tuesday afternoon, the company sold nearly 2,000 Flat Lous within the first two hours. Based on members of the Munzee gameplay development team, the Flat Friends line of virtual game pieces have been very popular within the community. Since the release of the first Flat Friend in October 2015, Flat Robs have been captured 9,497,873 times. Flat Matt was released in May 2017 and has since been captured 1,161,480 times.
The introduction of a Flat Friend character based on Munzee Events Manager Louise Gibson was an obvious choice. Since taking over event management in 2015, Louise has personally handled more than 1,500 player run events, with 492 events in 2017 alone. The success of Munzee events has led to an outpouring of requests from the player community to include a “Flat” Louise character.
“The Flat Friends collection of game pieces has been our way of connecting with players around the world,” said Rob Vardeman, President of Freeze Tag. “Louise’s role as Events Manager allows her to interact with players more often than almost anyone else in the company, so it was only fitting to announce Flat Lou before the busy series of Munzee events begin this summer.”
The Munzee community has just wrapped up Go Green Events, which ran from March until late April as a part of the Freeze Tag’s Earth Day initiative. The special event packages encouraged players to participate in green activities like getting outside, picking up litter and wearing green. There were 81 player run Go Green events internationally during that time frame. The new Flat Lou virtual game piece is also an opportunity for Freeze Tag and Munzee players to give back. In connection to Freeze Tag’s national sponsorship of the American Diabetes Association, the company will donate $0.25 for each Flat Lou sold to help diabetes research and awareness. As a cyclist in real life, Louise competed with members of Team Munzee in the Dallas Tour De Cure race for the American Diabetes Association last year. The release of the Flat Lou game piece also coincides with the American Diabetes Association’s National Get Fit Don’t Sit Day on May 2, 2018. As a sponsor of this year’s National Get Fit Don’t Sit Day, Freeze Tag is dedicated to helping people live healthier lives through physical activity by encouraging all players to get outside and play location-based games.

Freeze Tag Helps Plant 10,000 Trees for Earth Day Network
"TUSTIN, CA, April 24, 2018 Freeze Tag (OTC:FRZT), a leading creator of location-based mobile social games, today announced that a fundraising effort by the company’s geolocation scavenger hunt game, Munzee, will result in the planting of 10,000 trees through the Earth Day Network’s Canopy Project.
“As a company focused on geolocation gaming, preserving the outdoors is extremely important to us,” said Rob Vardeman, President of Freeze Tag, “The work the Earth Day Network does to protect and preserve the environment is unmatched. We’re proud of the response of our players across the world who have once again shown their commitment to worthy causes.”
To kick off our Earth Day Network fundraising effort, Freeze Tag began the sale of Earth Day Evolution special virtual game pieces in late March. Funds raised from these game pieces has been donated to the Earth Day Network’s Canopy Project, which strengthens communities through tree planting. Freeze Tag’s donation contributes to the Earth Day Network’s goal of planting 7.8 billion trees — one tree for every person on earth — in honor of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day in 2020. According to the Earth Day Network, trees reverse the impact of land degradation and provide food, energy and income, helping communities achieve long-term economic and environmental sustainability.
These Earth Day Evolution game pieces started out as Seeds and, when deployed, evolved every 12 days until they reached their final phase as Trees on Earth Day – April 22, 2018. The Earth Day Evolution game pieces have so far been captured 352,311 times by Munzee players, with 21,398 of those captures happening on Earth Day alone. The temporary game pieces will remain on the map until May 13th, 2018.
Giving back to the community is a core value for Freeze Tag. Successful campaigns for charitable organizations over the past few years have included breast cancer awareness, ALS research, heart health and more. Freeze Tag has also recently announced a sponsorship of the American Diabetes Association as well.
