Talked to Christian last night after conference. Said they had a joint PR to announce with another large company but the company did not get it done in time. Said they are not exagerating abut the 9 figure licensing deals with several companies. Said another major company was there and came up afterward and wanted to talk deals. Had dinner with yet another one last night. And all that's just on ASNAP.
Last post on lawsuit
First, Daic is a scam artist. If you look into him, you will find he's been involved in at least 9-10 civil fraud cases over the last 5 years (I did).
This scammer Daic says mendoza promised him shares of CLYW if he would help get the patent approved. There was no contract signed by both parties to that effect and in fact, mendoza was not even authorized to issue shares without BOD approval in the first place. Daic of course did zip and showed to that effect in the disposition docs (CLYW's lawyer drilled him). When the patent was issued and no shares came over he filed a BS lawsuit hoping to get some settlement.
The he threatened mendoza's family and davila as well into not showing up in court to give their depositions and Turrini has proof of that. When they didn't show up, the judge had no choice but to render a judgement against CLYW and the judgement was whatever the scammer Daic wanted it to be so he took the highest price CLYW ever went to ($6.05) times a fictional amount of shares then added I think $30MM in BS court fees (yes $30MM) to get a number over $100MM. The judge had no choice. Unbelieveable but if the defendant doesn't show up the plaintiff can get whatever he wants.
When Turrini got into the job and started looking into it, he realized the scam got the evidence and went back to the judge. The judge saw his evidence and immediately granted a "bill of review" which is basically a new hearing to see new evidence and possibly over-turn the past judgement she was forced to make. That was a major turning point and victory for CLYW.
Now Daic is possibly facing criminal charges along with fraud charges and is desperate to settle. And by the way, the judge did not award the patent to Daic, only money..IMO it will settle out of court for a nominal amount.
Names mentioned today by Turrini & Sharma:
Nokia
Bridgeport
TMobile
Cisco
RIM
Alcatel
Lucent
Avaya
Motorola
Microsoft
Cingular
Sprint
That looks like a Fortune 500 list to me!
Are you kidding Raptos?
"We are talking to several Fortune 500 companies about deals in the 9 figure range - EACH"
The ASNAP and BluBlaster demos went perfectly.
Sharma is coming back
The new CFO sounds great
Let me repeat - "We are talking to several Fortune 500 companies about deals in the 9 figure range - EACH"
Think about that a minute - even 1 deal at the minimum of $100MM would creat ~ $80MM in earnings/130MM * 20 = $12/share. That's just one deal. Incredible.
The lawsuit is BS. I know, I've read the court files. This Daic guy did absolutely zip on the patent and then he threatened Davilla and Mendoza so they would not show up. It will be settled soon imo because this guy will be facing criminal charges. Turrini has the evidence to back it up.
Zero chance of patent going to idiot Daic. I know, I read the files. Low 9 figures on each deal being done and they will announce soon. Sell if you want I will buy.
TURRINI JUST SAID "THE DEALS WE HAVE DONE"! 9 FIGURES MINIMUM ANNUAL REVS FROM EACH AND EVERY ONE!
HOLY MOLY! WAY MORE THAN I EVEN THOUGHT. $100MM ON EACH DEAL! "TALKING TO MANY FORTUNE 500 COMPANIES" "LOW 9 FIGURES" ON EACH ONE OF THEM
HOLY CRAP "LOW 9 FIGURES" BEING TALKED ON EACH DEAL THEY ARE NEGOTIATING. THAT'S MIN OF $100MM REVS PER DEAL! PER DEAL!
Worked perfectly
Sharma is there and introduced!
Not hearing any feed
On the call now, hearing others "beep in", don't hear anything else yet.
Current share price only implies about $4MM/yr in revs (= $2MM in earnings/130MM shares * 20 p/e = 30-40c. Virtually ANY kind of licensing announcement will blow that out of the water.
$10MM/year in revs = $1.50
$20MM = $3
$40MM = $6
$60MM = $12

You think RIM might be talking to CLYW? Gee I wonder....
First, rumor had it that the BlackBerry 8800 might have it. And when that didn't happen, speculation turned to what became the BlackBerry Curve. But alas, with the introduction of that eagerly-awaited device, still no Wi-Fi from Research In Motion (RIM) (Quote).
Today we've got something a little more concrete regarding RIM’s Wi-Fi plans. RIM senior VP David Yach has just told eWeek that the company will integrate Wi-Fi into one of its device before the end of the year.
It appears the ability for its smartphones and handhelds to seamlessly handoff calls and data connections between a Wi-Fi (corporate) network and the cellular network is of particularly importance to RIM.
This technology, known in the industry as fixed/mobile convergence (F/MC) or dual-mode, brings together the best of the unlicensed (aka Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) and licensed (cellular) wireless worlds. It allows a mobile handsets to leverage the type of wireless network that is most convenient and cheapest to use at any given moment—without service interruption and seamlessly to the end-user.
Mobile operator cooperation is essential. "We're working with the carriers to support that kind of technology," Yach explained to eWeek.
F/MC technologies like Unlicensed Mobile Access (UMA) - available in the GSM world - can also extend mobile phone and smartphone service to places where cellular reception might otherwise be poor or non-existent. The idea is to give mobile operators a wider footprint from which to serve subscribers, while delivering to a better overall experience.
"I think Wi-Fi is interesting because it offers a number of capabilities, and because it offers coverage where there is none," Yach said toeWeek. "You're not as concerned about usage fees. Our goal with Wi-Fi then is that Wi-Fi will just work. When you have coverage Wi-Fi will work, and when you don't you'll use something else".
Yach did not say which carriers RIM has been talking to about offering a Wi-Fi integrated BlackBerry. One likely candidate is T-Mobile, the first operator to deliver a dual-mode service in the U.S. It is also the operator with the smallest (currently non-existent) 3G footprint and by far the largest Wi-Fi footprint, with over 8,000 hotspots across the country.
Like I said, we will get a big move tomorrow but I won't sell 1 share because it will be only the tip of the iceberg. Tomorrow imo we will undoubtedly announce licensing deals and instantly join the "land of legit" in a big way and as such go from veritable unknown to widely recognized as the owners of FMC and extremely undervalued. Keep these numbers in mind-
$50MM/year in revs = $40MM in earnings/130MM O/s * 20 p/e = $6/share
$100M in revs = $12/share
This could be a billion dollor market cap company on the heels of just 1 or 2 licenses.
Then license after license will continue to fall as they all get in line. Then we will make the move to the Naz small cap having easily satisfied the requirements and major brokerage houses and Mutual Funds will run it further. 6 months from now we could be a $20 company. Sounds crazy but the ASNAP patent alone could get us there, let along BluBlaster and the others.
A friend forwarded this to me. It's from the website for Baxter Technologies. Baxter was the inventor of the 4 patents that CLYW bought.
"The most recent Patent Pending for Baxter Technologies, Inc. is for an Audio File Transmission Method that will become a great tool in today's fast-moving world. It will allow any phone to transmit audio file attachments electronically to e-mail accounts including the ability to transmit messages from cellular phones using a one-step "Forward2Email" function. This will be the way of tomorrows data transmission for Life Science problems of notification in Real-Time."

hey ASNAP, email me at bulbar2@hotmail.com
That's your problem, you can't get off memory lane.
You would in fact have to be blind not to see the implications and opportunities for these patents.
It begins...much more to come

Calypso Announces Acquisition of U.S. Patents that Convert Voice to Text and Text to Voice for Cellular Phones, PDA and Mobile Devices
Tuesday May 15, 2:17 pm ET
MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Calypso Wireless, Inc. (Pink Sheets:CLYW - News) announced today that it has signed an agreement to acquire four United States Patents. The newly acquired patented technologies enable cellular phones and wireless PDA/Pocket PC to convert any incoming text messages to voice messages and any incoming voice messages into text messages. Calypso plans to license these four newly acquired patented technologies (US Patent Numbers: 6839412, 6765996, 6385306, 7031439) to mobile operators, Original Equipment Manufactures (cellular phones and wireless PDA/Pocket PC manufacturers) and Internet Service Providers.

"Seamless messaging is no longer a dream: it is increasingly a real need for users. By integrating these newly acquired patented technologies with Calypso ASNAP(TM) patented technology, any cellular or dual mode WiFi cellular phone will be able to convert any incoming text message into a voice message and, similarly, any incoming voice message into a text message," says Mr. Alessandro Valenti, Calypso VP of Research and Development.
"Subscribers that do not have a Smartphone or PDA phone can also use the speech to text technology. This could be an ideal solution for the emerging market," continues Valenti.
"We believe this is a major milestone for our company. We have been focusing on perfecting our own technology as well as developing new ones. The newly acquired technologies along with the existing patented technologies will allow us to expand our licensing model and start to aggressively pursue licensing agreements with established industry leaders and thereby create additional revenues," says Cristian Turrini, Calypso's President & Chief Executive Officer.
Went through the new patents Turrini talked about on the phone interview.
The first one translates emails into voice mails and sends them to your phone. This could be big. Look at the advantages, especially no long distance charges, no computers necessary..

Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a method of transmitting an audio voice message to an email address without the need of a computer.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a method of replying to an audio voice message without the need to key in a telephone number.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a method maintaining a thread of voice mail correspondence.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a means to store and validate the transmission and content of an outgoing voice message.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a novel dual email and telephone extension identity for user to access voice messages from a telephone or computer using a common set of alphanumeric characters.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a new means of delivering audio advertisements to a captive audience.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a new means of obtaining survey and demographic data.
It is another object of the present invention to provide untethered access to voice and email messaging using voice command zones.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a means of scheduling the delivery of voice messages to enhance the impact on the recipient.
An advantage of the invention is that it incorporates well-developed SMTP technology to deliver voice messages globally without incurring long distance charges.
Another advantage of the invention is that those wishing to send an audio voice message do not need to have any computer equipment.
Another advantage of the invention is that recipients of voice messages no longer are required to find and dial the number of the originator, the recipient can easily reply to the voice message with a single click, button or spoken command.
Another advantage of the invention is that the context of a voice message discussion may be maintained as a thread. Past comments may be accessed and referenced as needed.
Another advantage of the invention is that outgoing voice messages may be easily saved in virtually any computer readable medium. Proprietary voice message systems are not required.
Another advantage of the invention is that businesses may subrogate the costs of the messaging system infrastructure with demographically targeted advertising. Users unable to subscribe to the service can still have access paid for by advertising businesses.
Another advantage of the invention is that delivery of voice messages may be coordinated to coincide with the schedule of the recipient so that the voice message is delivered at the optimum time.
charles - sent you a note
No, I don't think Leon, I think Sharma. Sharma was involved in licensing efforts and more recently.
"We hold the patent for FMC" Interview. Great statement.
Sharma coming back! Just listened to the interview - "we have invited the former CTO of CLYW to come back and he has accepted". Has to be Sharma.
You have about 15 minutes to load up for next week.
That is correct Techno.
FWIW, I'm not selling any on the first news or the SH meeting news. In a matter of months this will be on the Naz small cap being bought by all the index funds and major wall street trading houses. Could easily run over $10. The math is easy. $100MM/yr in revs is prob $80MM in earnings (low overhead for licensing) on 130MM or so O/S = 76c/sh * 20 p/e = $15. And imo we'll see much more than $100MM in annual revs. Put this on the shelf for 6 months and you will be rewarded.
"I hope you are right"? Are you long now Bill?
Two more Sprint and Cingular
The competitive waters won’t remain calm for long however as Sprint Nextel is looking into developing a similar service through its joint venture with four major cable companies and Cingular is testing a service in its labs

T-Mobile to Offer Seamless WiFi/Cellular Switching
By Susan J. Campbell, TMCnet Contributing Editor
Are American consumers ready for - or even demanding - the ability to seamlessly switch between a cellular network and a home WiFi (News - Alert) network while talking on their cell phone? T-Mobile USA thinks so and is willing to test the waters to find out.
Went through those 31 references to the CLYW patent and saw names like Motorola, Nokia and Sprint.
Like I said, FWIW. I'm a patient investor and liked what I heard on the cc.
FWIW talked to IR at CFRI and she said things are great and will report as soon as they can.
CLYW...
Being bid up.
I hope for your sake you left some free shares on the table for the ride to $5. It will be quick.
Bill you are cracking me up.
