Still very under valued.
Hes probably pissed because he didn't make the prediction that SUNE would be flirting with $4-$5 pps.. Cramer is wrong all the time..thats probably why I have never watched his show....No worries.
After Paris: Now what for world climate? Scattered over different sections of the 31-page document, the measures collectively make up what has become known as a "ratcheting up" mechanism......The first step will be a stock-taking in 2018, two years before the agreement enters into force, of the overall impact of countries' progress in abandoning fossil fuels like oil, coal and gas in favour of renewable sources like solar and wind. "From now, on, the smart money will no longer go into fossil fuels, but into cleaner energy, smarter cities, and more sustainable land use."
December 13, 2015 at 1:29 am by Jay Smith in Hedge Funds,News,Tech >>>>>>>> Because of liquidity concerns, shares of Sunedison Inc (NYSE:SUNE) are down by over 80% year-to-date. Analysts are still bullish, however, as Deutsche Bank has a ‘Buy’ rating with a $9 price target on the stock, while Bank of America has a ‘Buy’ rating and a $12 price target. Analysts believe Sunedison can make it past its liquidity troubles and the recent news certainly isn’t proving the analysts wrong. Earlier in the week, SunEdison amended its Vivint Solar Inc (NYSE:VSLR) acquisition, which has been pointed to as the straw that broke the liquidity camel’s back. The amended deal with Blackstone will allow SunEdison to pay $2.00 less in cash per share and $0.75 more in stock per share. SunEdison also recently sold 333 MW of wind plants in Maine to Terra Nova Renewable Partners, a joint venture formed with investors of JPMorgan Asset Management, in a move that will raise $209 million in liquidity.
I see we are on the Breakout Board....
For people who didn't understand the JPMorgan deal
.
The deal included $209M of equity and $578M of debt for an enterprise value of $787M. In other words, SunEdison was able to release $209M of cash and simultaneously extinguish $578M of debt in this single transaction - a move that substantially improves the Company's balance sheet and should put to rest any remaining concerns about liquidity. While this JPMorgan deal by itself does not completely validate the devco, we believe it goes a long way in showing that the cries of bankcruptcy were based on a lack of understanding of SunEdison's business model." "Saddle Up peeps"
SunEdison Inc. (SUNE): Here’s Why Stock Will Rebound On Monday >>>>>>>>> Shareholders of SunEdison Inc. (NYSE:SUNE) can rejoice as the stock is headed for a rebound Monday. >>>>>>>> Frankly I'm stunned this news is getting little attention.
Federal Government Solar Investment tax credit of 30% expires in 2016...I'm hoping Congress extends that subsidiesed program after this Global Warming Summit concludes...investment Banking will be watching and looking for great potential investment opportunities ..
This summit is really going to propel the GO GREEN EMPHASIS.
And they conclude on Saturday I believe...Hedge funds that got out of SUNE will be getting back in - MARK THAT.......Tons of visibility here along with much much better news...
It already got great news ! 3 other trades I'm in (Gold and OIl) that put out restructuring news to reduce debt (yamana gold with sandstorm gold) = (Kinross gold) - (Devon energy corp/ oil& gas),,,,all of which their stock went up nicely but none of them went up immediately on said news. They took off about a week later...Patience.
These are the stocks for playing climate change >>>>>>>
As a big meeting on climate change takes place in Paris, banks are thinking about that hot-button topic — including how to make money from it.
Bank of America Merrill Lynch has come up with more than 220 stocks from around the world that “have exposure to climate change-related solutions.” BAML’s broad roundup comes as Goldman Sachs offers its own ideas about the best “green” stocks.
MarketWatch has whittled down BAML’s long list to just companies that have “high” exposure to such products or services, according to the bank, rather than only “medium” or “low” exposure. Also eliminated are companies that aren’t traded on U.S. exchanges.
There are “9 entry points for investors wishing to play the climate change and low carbon solutions theme,” said BAML equity strategists Sarbjit Nahal, Beijia Ma and Felix Tran in a note released Tuesday. They say the nine places to get involved are: “1) Energy Efficiency; 2) Wind; 3) Solar; 4) YieldCos; 5) Nextgen Vehicles, Batteries & Storage; 6) Nuclear; 7) Hydro; 8) Diversified Cleantech; and 9) Other Cleantech.”
But the whittled-down list below covers just six of those nine areas, as there are no U.S.-listed companies with high exposure to wind, nuclear or diversified cleantech, according to BAML. The term “YieldCos” refers to renewable-energy spinoffs that promise high payouts, as Barron’s has put it.
Without further ado, below are U.S.-listed stocks that BAML views as having high exposure to climate change-related products or services.
Solar
Enphase Energy ENPH, -2.33%
First Solar FSLR, +1.67%
SolarCity SCTY, +1.06%
SunEdison SUNE, +1.47%
SunPower SPWR, -3.84%
SunRun RUN, +3.83%
Trina Solar TSL, -3.63%
Best Stocks Under $5: Sunedison Inc (SUNE)
12/11/15 Closing Price: $4.15 (+13% for the week)
Sunedison Inc (NYSE:SUNE) shone brightly this week after the renewable energy developer was able to change the terms of its acquisition of Vivint Solar Inc (NYSE:VSLR), SUNE will now pay $15.25 per share rather than $16.50 — it will pay 75 cents more per share in its stock, but will pay $2 less in cash. Blackstone Group LP (NYSE:BX) will probably become a major holder of the company upon completion of the deal.
In addition, SUNE announced today that it sold some wind-powered assets to Terra Nova Renewable Partners for the sum of $209 million
with the terrible market conditions today (FRIDAY), SUNE didn't actually do so bad... Trade channel improved to some extent as with the selling pressure $4.09-$4.12 held the bottom - that's higher than the last lower resistance any way :) .... Bounced off of the upper channel ($$4.25ish) but,,,,,,,,i believe that upper resistance will fall to higher highs come Monday..Rome wasn't built in a day ;)
Technically speaking - its actually too late to short SUNE now...I believe most went LONG at around $2.70ish. Its Time for all to ride the coming WAVE UP.
they never get any where , not even worth chaton here...tactic to confuse buyers. seasoned retail investors pay no attention...one person on here today said shorts aren't in control here - geuss they haven't looked at the short percentage of late.
Nice post >>> and correct about "Trigger" price ;) Also gave you a Mark .
50 day sma just above $6....
margin account,,,that would be me :)
I just LOCKED UP 10k shares at $400....won't be able to borrow them now.
Yes JIMI.....get ready for the EXPERIENCE here soon....I love in Seattle by the way...
Maybe that's why after staying on the sidelines with out executing a position here - I DID SO TODAY... Also a recent board/moderator exiting yesterday was another GREEN flag. Lock up your shares with a sell order around $50 and your shares won't be borrowed ;)

Summary
•We discuss the impact of recent events on SunEdison shareholder interests.
•We discuss the importance of the JPMorgan project sale and why it is an important development.
•We offer our view on SunEdison's valuation taking into account impending California Net Metering ruling.
SunEdison's sale of 333MW of wind projects with equity value of $209M and enterprise value of $787M is a major development that we believe caps a tumultuous five weeks at the World's leading renewable energy developer.
Considering SunEdison is trading at a measly $4 level currently, the equity IS significantly undervalued and see the stock as a strong buy.

I am invested mostly in OIL and GOLD stocks...they have both been restructuring debt because of depressed prices .... all of them have jumped up considerably just on the news of liquidation of some assets or restructuring... News like just out for SUNE (actually in totality) SUNE's news is much better.....might be choppy at first but this trade is heading much higher....
exiting a Short position then buying at/near the bottom before a run is more like it...Smart Money !
never implied done or near...
Shorts will be your friend soon....we will all ride this up ..... $5-$6 is easy.
Covering yes...it's about over..EOD mid too upper $4s
No matter....for the Time being - shorts are in control....
save some powder if this wants to fill that gap - just sayin.
The main reason for the volatility will be because of the roughly 129 million (about 40% float) shares that are shorted, and before everyone chirps in that they were all sold way up in the 20's, the short amount increased from 92m in November to the 129m as of 12/1 when the share price was trading sideways in the 3$ range.
don't pay a whole lot of attention to pre or after market action - Especially if its not even at least 10% minimum ;)
MMs - Gap fill !
Gap to fill - then this moves UP .
I was watching the flow of the stock all day, Alot of buying between 2.13 too 2.15. Hit 2.17 numerous times Thursday...it appeared like it was ready to BREAK up....is low $2s our new base... :)
Good news indeed...Don't expect some big gapper though. might even trade sideways for a bit.....Debt numbers start coming down then its "GAME ON"
Alot of shorting here (see today)....eventually this goes up...Manipulation = Shorts.....
Look at today's CHART so far,,,,,looks like AUY is Ready to break up and into .20$
You would think 28th that VIVANT news, this would be up much higher than $4
