Prof...what do you know about Cardlab?
Looking forward to your assessment. Please also inquire of Cardlab...if others are aware of them and their views on Cardlab as well. I trust you will see if they are present at the conference and inquire of them if they are there. Wonder what they would say in regards to Smartmetric....
Will you be at the conference for its complete duration? Chaya speaks on the 6th of April, just as a reminder.
I am aware of at least 3 people, who are not insiders, who have over 6 million shares. But can't imagine them selling here. They are believers in the company and its product.
Divide each amount by the 18 million shares outstanding and the conversion amount of the preferred stock and that is what each share is going to receive.
Don't ALL batteries have a "life", despite whether or not they are rechargeable or not?
Any knowledge of why people are buying this stock? You mention the Board is still active, do you know anyone on the Board who can give us some information as to what the future of this company might be?
Been a stockholder from the beginning.
Any recent Tweets??
OBP...thanks for the information regarding the conference and Chaya's participation in it.
Not a bad gig for someone some claim to be fooling its investors with a non-existent product...wouldn't you say?? :)
Thank you...I'll watch it.
Thank you for the info. My dad has been an investor here for well over 15 years. I'll let him know what is going on.
As for SMME...I fair as well as the others. Still hoping but coming up with a Plan B for retirement.
Hope the new year goes well for you...and me. :)
Professor...nice to see you get around.
So what happened here? Any inside information you can share?
Questions asked of Chaya on this board will go without a response since she does not read this board...
Questions asked of Chaya on the website are answered when she is able to within the legal guidelines...
Some questions are asked multiple times...and in different ways...and MY GUESS is that responding to such a question once is enough.
Personally, I believe Chaya is working at making SMME successful...a lot harder and longer than we other shareholders and I choose not to divert her attention otherwise.
I read nothing into a deleted post. It could be nothing more than a missed pressed cursor....ask them again.
As for PRs...often there is new and informative information in them...all of them get out the message of what SMME has to offer the world...and that ain't bad.
Still here...just pondering what I'll do when SMME announces sales in 2016.
I've come to the conclusion that anything positive said here will be attacked...any contradictions to negativism falls on deaf ears....
So I watch and wait.....
Chaya's comments lifted from the SMME website chat room in response to a previous post:

Hi Hellosmartmetric.
Thanks for your great suggestions. And thank you for the obvious time and thought you have put into helping. What you have said has been taken on board and some are actionable but others not so. You are correct that there is a big fight going on at the moment between chip and pin and chip and signature. It doesn't pay for us to get in the middle of this for a number of reasons. It is true that we have created a better mouse trap which really makes the debates over pin or signature obsolete. We are on track with our marketing to the card issuing financial institutions. I should further point out that our focus as a company is not US centric. While we have tremendous opportunity in the United States we also have very fertile grounds for marketing in Europe, Asia and Latin America in countries that have long been users of chip cards. Last year saw a lot of hype over the use of mobile payments emanating out of a big push in this direction from VC funders in Silicon Valley. A lot of large Banks got caught up in this hype and as is the way so commonly a lot of sheep following has taken place. The reality is now dawning on the industry that mobile payments is not the same as using the phone for commerce or doing online banking. Digital wallets on a persons mobile phone has proved not to be the success that a lot of tech gurus thought. It has proven to be a niche play while the humble plastic card has remained the preferred payments platform for the masses. 2016 looks like being an amazing year. We have an amazing product that solves a huge issue for both the consumer and the business/banking world.
Thanks again and regards,
Potts....try these words: 'Crankier' and 'Older' :)
Today we have successfully added to the EMV chip card both contact and NFC contactless technology along with intelligent processing power and substantial memory with the addition of biometric security technology turning the payments card into an intelligent IoT device said SmartMetric's President & CEO.
From 11/30/2015 PR
Reread previous post...and let me add I know nothing more than what I read on this board, Yahoo's board, the Smartmetric website and the PR's that get released.
Let me ask you again....why ask for a time frame when you know if it is not met you will jump all over Chaya?
Why????????
Well Mate...In response to Baleout"s question as to whether or not anyone has seen it work.
I see 3 aspects of The Card:
1) EMV chip...and if it will function in the system...it should.
2) The print reader...and if it will function as stated...I believe it will because I believe Chaya has tested it and deemed it functional.
3) The Card...will #2 function with #1 to allow The Card to be the Best and Most Secure Card out there....I don't know, but I believe Chaya has tested it and is satisfied that it will work.
I am only saying what I know and believe. I believe someone said The Card needs to be attached to a bank for it to work...thus I can only say I believe it will since I'm not certain it has actually been tested within the system.
It seems to me the only question of concern is whether or not the fingerprint reader will read the print of the cardholder and activate the card for use.
Since The Card is manufactured to specs and is useable with the EMV chip that part of the concern should be answered with a yes.
So....does the print reader read the fingerprint of the holder? That, too, should be a yes because it can be tested and I only can trust that it has been.
1) Card meets specs for use...
2) Fingerprint reader functions properly...
3) Does the fingerprint reader allow The Card to be activated for use..................? Don't know.
I do understand the expressed reasons for the frustrations on the progress of SMME. I have been waiting for over 6 years. BUT to conclude that Chaya is running away with the money or lying to us is unfair.
And to miss the vast improvement in the product, even over the 6 plus years I've been in the company, is to misunderstand the use of the funds and the improvement of the product.
Changes take place...that is unacknowledged here;
Better options arise and must take the company in another direction...that also is seen as suspicious behavior.
Gonski...Let's be honest here. Repeating your unsubstantiated beliefs does no one any benefit...not investor or possible investor.
These are what I KNOW to be TRUE...
Airline...don't know;
Oil field...don't know;
MKR...sold some, as attested to on this board;
Radio exposure...I heard them myself;
Property development...don't know specifically what you are
referring to;
Mass production...I've only heard Chaya say we are prepared for it, NOT that we are in it. A small amount has been said to have been produced and is being evaluated by potential buyers...
Buying into a development company on the penny boards is not the same as buying stocks on an exchange...you know that. So don't cry about people losing money or not making money because the risks are all well known when it comes to investing in a company such as Smartmetric...
And I will conclude by saying you, and we all, can believe Chaya or not when it comes to the reality of The Card...
We can believe those who have seen it;
We can trust that no one would invest thousands for a production run of a product that is not real;
We can wonder if someone would stand before hundreds of people and promote a product that does not exist or work;
We can understand that The Card of today is not the card of years past, but has been vastly improved, which takes money...
or not.
glenc....
how many signs need be posted to warn of the danger???
seems to me the point of those who see SMME as a disaster has been made...and noted...and described. Perhaps we can agree enough signs have been posted.
And you are unfair to equate Chaya with Madoff and to conclude SMME is failed.
Evidence of both the above DO NOT EXIST, but only in one's mind. The Card has only come to its fullness in the last 3 months or so. THAT is NOT enough time to realize its potential, especially with the budget Chaya is working with.
Let's post what we know and if there is no evidence make that clear in our posts. AS for me, your reference to Chaya being equated to Bernie Madoff borders on libel and is certainly unfounded.
No payment system will encompass all transactions. There is room for many different types of non-cash payments.
Also, The Card developed by Smartmetric is usable in a variety of ways...security, payments, ID...
You, PoorP-S, get my vote as winner of the debate.
In all the years I've watched the posts on this board it seems to me that:
the negative posters neither accept the evidences of others nor change their comments because of them. My conclusion is that they are not about honesty...but just about repeating their negative comments about the CEO, company and other positive posters.
the positive posters post what they know, such as radio ads for the MKR, and believe in, a hard working, honest and hopeful CEO and company.....
and I believe the twain will not meet...until success or failure of the company is final.
Some people say the same thing about God....you can choose to believe or not.
Some have seen The Card and have said so.....believe or not.
I've not seen you.....but I believe you exist. :)
Then Bale out you've missed;
-- the vast improvement in the functioning of The Card;
--the cost savings of not building our own plant and instead subcontracting it out;
--not accepting additional financing which would significantly dilute the shares of the company.
Those are "eye openers"...
It's all ok and legitimate....
Sorry, my reply was deleted....
Seems to happen to me. Just trying to be positive. Doesn't seem to go very well here.....
As has been posted before, based on advise from public relations experts and our understanding of the financial institution we are in talks with it has been decided to launch the product in association with our first institutional adopter.
AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
During the time of the convention held in Las Vegas in the recent past Chaya spent her time promoting The Card. She talked with potential buyers of The Card and used her time to get The Card to market and, thus, make Smartmetric a successful company--which in turn will make all of us who own stock in the company a lot wealthier.
I ask: What have we posters on this board done during that time to accomplish the same?
What have any of us done to make Smartmetric a successful company?
I believe, ultimately, that is what we ALL want to see accomplished...or am I incorrect in that?
We sit....she works...
Many of you have NOT given this CEO any credit.
Just wondering...how much money does it cost to execute a plan such as SMME has been doing?
What does it cost to develop a fingerprint reader, processor and battery thin enough to be used in a credit card, usable, also in an ATM machine?
Just wondering... AND if there is someone out who actually knows what they were doing.....how come they never did it??
Just wondering...

presentations to important industry journalists are being set now. We are still weighing up a number of options our PR company has put on the table for the most effective official product launch. thanks, Chaya
This is what MAY take place by the end of the month. As with all plans circumstances beyond one's control often take place which may delay any timetable mentioned.
I emphasize the word "PRESENTATIONS". It will be an event that exposes the Smartmetric card to industry personal.
My major broker lists the news source of SMME PRs this way:
"MarketWired via Dow Jones News".
If Dow Jones News is picking up and distributing the information I'd say that's a legitimate news source.
Anyone disagree?
SM...IF you know the CEO who Chaya "blew off";
IF you know or believe the SMME card is infringing upon a registered patent:
IF you have been in the industry of biometrics for many years;
IF you know everyone in the biometric world:
THEN WHY DID YOU BUY STOCK IN SMARTMETRIC?
Did I read in the latest report that SMME received hundreds of thousands of dollars for the funding of The Card/as an investment in the company and its product...??
Guess we who believe in the company can add at least one more believer to our side...one or more willing to risk hundreds of thousands of dollars.
I'll follow the money...the bridge looks safe to me.
Yikes!!
Some of your questions seem too ridiculous to respond to...BUT
"too advanced to understand": That is true for many people. I work for a major retail company as a cashier and some CANNOT even find the slot to put their "chip card" into...and then they take it out before the transaction is complete... YES, 'TOO ADVANCED' FOR SOME.
"sales people": OF COURSE sales people are needed. Who establishes the relationship between them and SMME? Who are the contacts? Who does the paperwork. I don't imagine this product with the customers it is focused on would work well being sold on a .com site.
"$50/card": The Card has a life of about 5 years. That's less than $1/month. As a premium card a profit can be made by the banks when charging a monthly fee....thus it becomes at least a NO COST item. Why would they or any institution turn down something with a zero cost/possible profit making item that would prevent fraud loss????
Please, do tell...
