Xena,
Over the years I've forgotten many of the legalistic details. Thanx for the clarification.
At any rate, we all continue to just sit and twirl, I guess.
Loyal
thorbus,
What's interesting to me (though I'm not happy about it) is that Friedman telegraphed the upcoming r/s weeks ago. It was another of his clever, diabolical strategies that escape many investors. Which is to say, it gave the stock plenty of time to continue on a steady, downward spiral (it has done so) till September 15, at which time all of us will end up with considerably fewer shares after the r/s than we would have had if he'd just effected the r/s last month. I'm thinking he'll shoot for 100 to 1. Then we'll be caught up in the same yo-yo game all over again.

"Oh, the games people play now,
Every night and every day now,
Never meanin' what they say now,
Never sayin' what they mean."
---- Joe South in song 1969
Xena,
The keyword here is 'know.' A couple years back when this thing was a hot potato, there were graphic details as to how it would work using the kajillions of rail ties that were wasting away or were going to waste away all across Canada. And process was naturally going to produce clean energy. Even the Canadian government was so impressed by the outline that it (uh . . .) promised to spot the entrepreneurs 50 million big ones as seed money. That's what we kept hearing, anyway. Turns out it was all bullshit, but that's pinkyland for ya.
Fact is, nobody really 'knew', because it hadn't been put into motion. Theoretically, many still believe the project is a viable one. Problem is, the bull is sleeping in the pasture now, and no one wants to step up and grab it by the horns.
So, if you're DD doesn't show anything, it's because the whole deal was shown strictly on paper. Hence, could or will this energy project ever be salvaged? God only knows, and He ain't sayin'.
Loyal
80 million in dilution yesterday, 80 million today. Two and a half weeks after the o/h Michael is clearly demonstrating to us the confidence he has in his own company. With an additional 16 grand in his pocket now, how long before Michael either: A) walks off into the sunset, or B) puts the company on the block?
Loyal
Gator,
Aw shoot, bro, this just gets stupider and stupider. I can't tell who's on first or what's on second. All I know is I'm out here in left field and nothing makes sense anymore, so perhaps you can set me straight.
Doug Vance owns these bio-machines, and he leased one or more to Molen who must not have ever used them because he hasn't produced anything with anything for anyone anywhere.
Now Vance wants his machine back to be used elsewhere, but he can't get it from Molen because Molen (uh . . .) hid it somewhere in the woods? And Molen is sort of holding it for ransom? And the ransom consists of Vance holding an open house? (P.S. --- In the old days they used to call that extortion, but no matter.)
So Vance helps out with the o/h and the machine appears. I assume Vance kept a close eye on the thing throughout the shindig to make sure he could get out o' Dodge with the machine intact that Molen owes money on but will likely never pay.
Is it something like that? No. Couldn't be. There must be gaps in this scenario that I'm missing.
If by chance you can't clear this up for me, I'll have to consult one of the bleacher bums in the stands behind me.
Well, thanx for listenin'.
Loyal
ID,
Thanx for the insight. I didn't know it was all that complicated these days. I got hung up in the wife's failed venture many years ago, and it was just sign here--sign there, and away they went. Guess things are more legalistic than they used to be. Figures.
Loyal
Re #73916:
Gator,
If Vance owns those machines and Molen didn't pay the man for leasing them, why did Vance have to go to the extent of funding an o/h to get the machines back? Why couldn't he just repo them for nothing?
Loyal
thorbus,
I think you're right. "Rewarded" to Friedman must mean in the next life.
Loyal
Ultima,
If two per household were the case, I think Friedman would have used up his alotment before this. I've held this dog since it was MWIP, and before that when it was CMSI.
As for FINRA or the SEC, when it comes to ripoffs, they both have short memories.
And, yes, in the event of a r/s, insiders should lose the same ratio as the rest of us.
Finally, if Friedman did what he did before, he'll pump this after the r/s, dilute, and watch it go to the dump once more.
Loyal
thorbus,
The word I see is September 15 at the latest. Somewhere between a 20-1 and a 100-1 r/s.
Everyone knows Friedman's done this before. It didn't work out long term then, either.
Loyal
This stock makes no sense. But then, neither does the rest of the market. Wish I knew who was buying and why. Hopefully this isn't just a quick p & d.
Loyal
Lexus,
What you're saying makes more sense than anything I've heard yet. What's sad is that Vance could perhaps have it both ways if he wanted. Businesses do this all the time: They produce and market their own stuff on a small basis, then hire themselves out as sub-contractors to produce for someone else who has a bigger contract than they can procure on their own. Naturally, they make less profit this way, but they can hire more workers, expand their business, and have their company name seen by more and more eyes.
Perhaps Vance doesn't want to grow and be any more than he is now, which is his prerogative.
In conjunction with this, it's possible that Molen can't find a producer for his own interests, thus losing contracts by not fulfilling them or losing potential contracts he never really cemented in the first place.
Either way, we lose.
Having said all that, I still need to pose and address one major question: If Molen's company Vega is basically a dead man walking, why did he go to the expense of putting together an open house a week and a half ago?
Loyal
Darek,
But any spectacular run of the past was before the mm's slammed the hammer on GreenGro's fingers, just as they did to most other fledgling mj stocks.
I still think many mm's struck a shady, wink wink nod nod deal with the anti-mj crowd to keep a lid on the entire med-mmj industry.
Loyal
This whole bucket has holes in it. If Molen has the deals and Vance makes the product, why isn't Vance moving his bio-stuff to market through Molen? Is there some level of mistrust between the two men? Perhaps Gator could answer that one, since the name Vance must have come up somewhere in the many questions asked at the o/h.
And if the working machine is constantly being moved, wouldn't a storage facility have to move with it, along with all the shipping paraphernalia?
In other words, both Molen and Vance must have some cards they ain't showin'. This business of Have Bio-Machine Will Travel looks goofy in terms of logistics. Or am I missing something in this picture?
Loyal
Let's see now. 200 shares at five-ought one equals . . . .
. . . two hundredths of a cent.
I try to be couth and choose my words carefully for public consumption, but in this case I have to be blunt. Why do these market makers have to insult us with a bullshit trade like that? Certainly no repectable broker would honor or tolerate manipulation to such an extent from any of us retailers.
Loyal
Gator,
I know the score on this one. Since Molen would never lie to us, there must be two Doug Vance's.
Loyal
P.S. - - And just curious. Did Molen get a haircut for the event? That would seem fair, since he gave all of us one some time ago.
Agreed. Have seen that a number of times.
Loyal
Jumpin' Jehoshaphat. What's this all about? One of those strange holding companies that takes off when the market tanks?
Loyal
Diesel,
Cool, bro. Just thought you might have heard something, since waiting for Molen to open up is like waiting for the next solar eclipse.
Loyal
Though I have no concrete info to pass on to anyone, I get the feeling that the market makers [market breakers) aren't sure which way to steer this boat right now.
What little emanates from the company looks darn good, but still the stock continues to do a condensed yoyo.
Loyal
Diesel,
Good things, you say. Okay, good things. What good things? It's now 10 days past the open house and I'm waiting for Michael to say something. You know, . . . something like . . . a plan or a proposed course of action?
Perhaps you heard a valid voice in the wind that might have sounded to many of us like somebody merely shooting the breeze.
Understand, I'm still on board, but only because we're in deep water a long way from land, and Molen has yet to furnish us with a compass. So, there's no point trying to bail here and swim to shore, since we don't know which way it is from here to dry land.
Good things? Any hints will do for now.
Loyal
P.S. - - - And if anyone else has some positive news or vibes at this point, just let 'em fly. I'm listening.
Gator,
So just who among us benefits from the operation of Big Bertha? Assuming Doug Vance owns it along with all the other machinery that either works or doesn't, where does this leave Molen and his entire caper? If Vance indeed has no affiliation with either Molen or Gaspard, where does NextGen fit on this map?
And in the aftermath of the open house, I as do others wonder just what was the purpose of the o/h to begin with? If there is no finished product, nothing in the pipeline, and not even any viable machinery to make bio-stuff, what business are either Vega or Vencor in?
Finally, does the lens on your camera show James Gaspard anywhere in the picture? Many still insist he is a genius and sharp businessman, even though he never showed a product, never divulged a sale, and almost never even gave us the time of day.
Loyal
- - - An' how 'bout dem Dow boys, everyone. Shed a cool 500 today. Naturally, they blamed most of it on China.
Re #73666:
p & d,
Gator and anyone else can inform as they choose. After all, they paid their way to the shindig, while most of us stayed home.
It's not a trader's or investor's job to keep the public informed as to what any given company is doing or going to do. That's a company spokesperson's job, which in this case is Michael Molen.
I'd like to know many details of the event myself, but insisting that any attendee sing is not very classy.
At this point, all I would like to know is what is being produced today, and where is it going tomorrow? No production? No sales. No sales? No profits. No profits? No company. This is not rocket science.
Loyal
secret,
Odds are you are correct. I just don't trust that investment firms possess any integrity any more. They could always sub-contract a local intern to birddog the o/h.
Finally, this industry in general has big potential. And where there's big potential, there's big money flyin' around somewhere.
Hope you're doing better than I.
Loyal
I strongly suspect that one or more investment firms will be sending a rep, and that he will be there incognito. He might even ask one of "us" a few questions just to see where we're at with regard to Vega. That way these mm's could find subtle ways to control and bilk us once again later.
Call me a cynic, but were I there I would watch what I say to someone who doesn't clearly identify himself as one of us iHubbers.
It's not like we're a team of any sort, but it wouldn't hurt to ask a lot of questions and make few, if any, admissions.
Loyal
Potnic,
Tension in the air? No, but I do feel a lot of heat and humidity.
And after a year on this boat . . . a little suspicion, too.
Hope your excitement pans out.
Loyal
Frankly, I hope between now and Saturday we don't hear anything from Molen, since he has a penchant for being the bearer of bad tidings come crunch time. So, for me at this juncture, till then no news would be good news.
Also hope the machine didn't fall on Michael's head when they moved it. That would probably have caused irreparable damage to the bio- unit.
Loyal
hedge,
You are correct. Yep. "Another day, another . . . 50 cents." Used to be ". . . another dollar."
That's deflation for ya.
Loyal
Winner,
You might be right. I don't ususally get confused when all I see is a bunch of zeroes day after day, but perhaps I misapplied my eruptions here.
Personally, I think SRGL will indeed erupt . . . . right after Yellowstone does.
Loyal
bobby,
In response:
A) For all the stunts and empty promises MM has pulled the past sixteen months, I wouldn't have any problem standing eyeball to eyeball with the guy and telling him what I thought of his shenanigans.
B) I don't have enough invested in this boat to warrant an 800-mile trip to Virginia to see some pieced-together machine make bio-stuff.
C) Frankly, I'll believe one or more machines are in operation and an order is being filled when Gator sees it for himself. Wouldn't make any sense for the Gatorman to lie about the trip, 'cause he and lady Joan are pretty heavily invested; therefore, if he's lyin', he's dyin'.
D) Mum passed away back in 1985 --- rest her soul --- and my house has no basement.
No hard feelings though, bro. Have a nice day.
Loyal
A few years back the mm's kept this thing in handcuffs (at around .0050) for quite a while before letting it blow (up to .15, a 30-fold increase), at which time they made a bundle.
I think they might be doing the same thing again. We'll see.
Loyal
As I recall, this thing was gonna erupt sometime in August.
Oh, wait. I'm a bit behind the times. That was August of last year.
My how time flies when you're having fun supporting a stock.
Loyal
I'm not going --- nor is my dog who can smell a liar from a football field away and could thus cause trouble --- but for those who are, don't be afraid to acknwowledge within yourselves what the rest of us are well aware, which is that everyone will be somewhat on edge. Too much crap has gone down over the past year and a half to be fully positive about this open house.
And for you, Gator, use your own good judgment as to whether I should respond in the future with either alias (Loyalhound -vs- Molensux).
Loyal
After some pondering, I wonder now if Molen went to Europe to try to salvage his [alleged] sale of bio-whatever. One has to wonder if that deal was ever really inked and signed. Or did perhaps the Europeans get wind of the possibility that there would be no shipment arriving on schedule, if at all, and decide to look elsewhere for their bio-stuff.
Business persons in Europe aren't as dumb as we Yanks often they are, and many of those same people across the pond are no more interested in Molen's head games than they are in Obama's many charades.
I offer all this due to the fact that suddenly Michael has expressed the desire to sell stateside now, something he should have been doing from the getgo.
Yes, this makes for a conspiracy theroy, but let's face it; there have always been huge gaps between who Molen is and what he says.
Loyal
Re #14583:
Fondu,
Yep, I echo that. Been saying for years what you just said in your post.
Market makers? I call them either market breakers, or market manipulators, same as you, and they are collectively nothing more than a stock market cabal.
Loyal
I agree with hobbes [Re #73468]. Molen goes to Euroland for a month, only to return to let us know he's looking into markets here in the U.S.?
Makes me wonder if that big contract across the pond fell apart. Or was there ever one to begin with?
________________
Also, I find it almost amusing. You have to register for an open house by filling out a form and mailing it in so you have an opportunity to get a peek at a rusted piece of machinery that may or may not be operable hidden somewhere in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Or is it in the Smokies?
Loyal
43,
It could certainly be refired. While most of us working stiffs are still slogging through this recession that hasn't really ended, there are a bunch of 1% or 2%-ers who have the bucks to get this thing cooking. After all, the energy source is there for the taking, and the where with all seems to be complete in terms of manufacturing know how. That's why some cat with a vision could readily bring this thing to fruition, if only . . . .
. . . . [if only] . . . that's the snag at this point.
Loyal
Just in this morning:
Greengro Technologies Continues Momentum Toward Turnkey Systems Strategy ANAHEIM, CA--(Marketwired - Aug 5, 2015) - Greengro Technologies (OTC PINK: GRNH) announced today that it is accelerating the company's strategy to be the market leader in turnkey systems for advanced agriculture, and the medical and recreational cannabis markets. Last week the company announced the first in a series of planned light deprivation greenhouse systems to be offered in various configurations and price points to address a broader market.
. . . and yet the slide continues. Methinks this keeps going down simply because mm's want it to.
Loyal
56,

It already did that.
