Nickels I have checked Yahoo financials. To me this pop caused by a modest new contract looks totally absurd.
RD "That money was transferred but put on hold and investigated." Do you have any idea how long that investigation will take? It suggests that some more money will be available later.
After 900,000 shares have traded today the pps is more or less back to where it started!
Crawfors Thanks! I checked that website. There were some interesting posts there.
Kool Thanks! I sometimes read too fast too and don't therefore analyse well enough and address properly the issues raised. I am not trying to move this stock in any way by the post at issue.
Crawfors What is the other message platform?
Kool Aid I suggest you read your previous post and my post once more. I cannot see the relevance of your latest post. I had expected better from you. Try one more to address my previous post!
Mr Smith "However my point was the rational behind the sale." The word you wanted to use is rationale I think.
The following is perhaps the worst general nonsense I have come across: "IF A TICKER IS LEGIT AND MANAGEMENT IS ETHICAL AND OPERATING IN GOOD FAITH THEN IT WILL LIKELY STILL BE A GOOD BUY AT 2, 3, 5, 10X THE CURRENT PRICE. BUT UNTIL THEN....... "
In most tickers that are listed the potential may be a good buy at a pps that is let's say 20% above the current pps. There are exceptions but that is the general rule based on my experience over 50 ears. In otc companies it varies a lot more. Actually the above statement implies that SPZI is likely to be an very good buy indeed if the company is legit and management is ethical and operating in good faith.
I recently sold most of my shares in SPZI and bought 155,000 shares in IQST.
Traderfan I live in Norway and different rules applied for me.
RD "after they file the tax document that will free up the $2.59 being transferred into the US account." Free up 2 dollars????
Kool These are different cases but I feel the point at issue is the same: alleged defamation of the company by posters on Ihub. The name mentioned looks like a Serbian name and it is possible that the person who threatened me and others may have been the same. No Canadian company was involved regarding the case I remember. I don't think there were more than empty threads regarding the Chinese company that felt defamed by me and others.
$$$$$$$ If 90% of otc stocks never generate a profit and keep going for some years by selling stock it is easy to find losers and difficult to find winner.. Over a few years it is much easier to be proven right if you are a basher than if you are a pumper.
Kool I have nothing like total recall. I cannot even recall the ticker. I remembered it for quite a few years but no longer. What I remember is that I contacted Ihub about it since they know my identity. I forget if I received reassurance that it would not be communicated to the person who threatened me and others.
RD Asb I think you know already I am already able to trade these stocks through AT Ameritrade which is owned by Schwab. I have been informed that my account too will be moved to Schwab in a little more than a month.
Kool Regarding criminals I had an unsettling experience more than 10 years ago. A 7-Eleven type of chain stores in China got its shares traded in the USA like a lot of small scammy Chinese companies. It turned out that the dilution of the stock was almost endless. I pointed this out in negative posts. That company had a Serbian criminal to defend their interests and there came a thread that both I and some others would be sued by the company because of our negative posts. I did not present any factual assertions about the company but suggested that the endless dilution was negative. I was not sued as far as I know. I live far from the USA.
Kool Aid Man I had you oisn ignore but I decided to check if I was mistaken. "Joke? Wanna do an autopsy on each other? I'll put my 17,415 posts up against the 24,629 pump posts you have flogged since 2012 and see who has been right more often. Based on the sheer volume of stocks you hype I'm sure you've had some winners but I guarantee you've been wrong far more than right. And that means you're responsible for duping countless schmucks into being hapless bagholders from all the garbage that you've promoted. A quick sample quickly proved me right."
I have read that 90% of otc companies never become profitable as far as I remember. In such a situation it far easier to pick losers than winners. I assume you know this. Is this kind of competition fair? But if 90% are losers 10 % could be winners.
boston I understand your reaction. I myself bought 9 million shares and then sold half of them more or less because of all the points brought up by negative posts that made me think that the risk was too high for me. Since then I have bought all those shares back. Recently good news has signfiicantly increased my confidence that John Park is not the swindler he is presented as being by bashers.
I notice that TIOG is down almost 40% today. This is clearly a high-risk stock but hardly a high-potential stock these days,
Recently it is lies about the new auditor the bashers have posted. The truth is that it has a very good reputation. In my view this is very good news because the reputation of the auditor may to some extent rub off on SPZI.
boston You have been misled I think. It shows the true colours of this basher.
"Firm Data and Audits Selected for Review Year 2023
* Total issuer audit clients in which the firm was the principal auditor 21 Files audited
Audits with Part I.A deficiencies 2 Files"
Strukture "Firm Data and Audits Selected for Review Year 2023
* Total issuer audit clients in which the firm was the principal auditor 21 Files audited
Audits with Part I.A deficiencies 2 Files"
This is very good in my book.
oldman I agree this stock is less risky. That is why I don't plan to sell more shares here. In the other stock the moot point is if the leader of the company has published false numbers as far as contracts are concerned. If he has not the potential pps is very high. If the information is false the downside is very big.
Boiler I referred to the "normal" stock price requirement for uplisting to NASDAQ. Thanks for providing information about the profit in the third quarter. You did not mention what earnings per share were. That is what is of interest in my view. I hope there will be substantial profits this year that will take the pps to at least a dollar.
nicehit The point is that revenues in themselves are worthless. The worth lies in net profits which can be reinvested or distributed to shareholders.
Serpico Yes, we need at least quarterly filings of financials whether audited or not before we have a fair basis for assessing what is a fair pps.
Serpico "$SPZI Shareholder Network" You don't seem to be aware of the distiction between the company and the shareholders of the company. What shareholders think cannot be trusted. My view is that those numbers may be so much wishful thinking. It may be other shareholders who suggested a net profit margin of 2-3% as far as the sugar deal is concerned.
Mr Smith I agree with you regarding legal shorting. What is more interesting in my view is the possibility of naked shorting. For decades it seems to have been possible to use Canadian brokers to do that. Perhaps even more interesting is market-makers legal shorting. It is their job to short stocks to create a liquid market. It is normal for them to short when the pps rises fast and to buy back the shorted shares when the pps comes back again. But it is also possible for market-makers to manipulate or evade the rules that apply for them. Since OTC stocks generally move in the direction of becoming worthless it would make good sense to short all of them and for instance to cover the short positions after some years. Some market-makers may to some extent act that way? I have a weak recollection that the market-maker NITE some years ago did not follow the rules that exist.
jpike I sold some shares a few weeks ago to invest in SPZI which claims to be making a lot of money. It looks much cheaper to me. This company has been growing fast but it has made no money during this period of fast growth.
cootcat The pps must be up more than 1,000% to reach 4 dollars.
johne The owners see this stock! They sell it. Being able to grow revenues is nice but it is the bottom line that counts for shareholders. The bottom line this year will decide if the pps ought to soar or not.
Serpico Ironically, your links show that I am right. I did not contest the revenue numbers. Your links show no achieved net income as far as I can see. It shows a gross margin based on the past but that is a different thing from a net margin. Net income will only be known as quarterly numbers are filed.
Serpico
"$934 MILLION in REVENUE ANNOUNCED so far with NET INCOME of $96 MILLION with gross 18% and net 9%."
I think the above is not correct. I here refer to net income of $ 96 million. I believe net income is unknown at this stage. A net margin of 9% is more or less somebody*s guess I think. Moreover, about two-thirds of the revenues are related to the sugar contract as far as I remember. I think I have seen a guess that the net profit margin for this contract will be in the range of 2-3%. If you can prove me wrong with numbers coming from John Park I suggest you do so.
I agree it was good news but so far I have seen no information about what interests me - probable earnings per share this year.
ETG You may not have regarded me as a basher because I present both positive and negative points of view but some longs have. I see eye to eye with you about validating financials.
quigley If you had stated one dollar by the end of this year it would have been more credible and not just so much wishful thinking.
ETG58 I regard this as very positive and important news. It is in my view very reassuring that an auditing firm has been retained. If this company was a total scam I would not expect it to retain an auditor, which would soon enough expose the falsehoods. I am not a consistent basher. This posts proves this.
shotsky "They tell lies JUST to get responses." The moot point is whether they tell lies or truth. My view is that it may be both. I don't question that some posters tell lies. My experience based on TIO was that the bashers of that stock told the truth. You can check if I am right or not in stating that. The challenge here is that so far we don't KNOW what the real truth is. The fact that John Park has stated something does not necessarily mean that it is the truth. It could be the truth or it could be very misleading even of it is not a total lie. If you check PCTL you will find a company that has continued presenting half-truths year after year.
shotsky "I have proved that right here, where I copied the responses from three separate boards which were all the same. Think of them as whack-a-moles... " What you say may go for some bashers here but hardly for all. I checked the titles of a lot of posts by one particular basher but I did not read the content. For bashing to have an effect there must be some sort of link between the topic that is addressed and what they write. I was surprised about the variety of the titles of the posts.
