Oh I know all about that !! One of my favorite DVD's of the set... it was definitely not friendly at first lol
p90x..?
What pairs do you trade? It's whipsaw mania tonight I see. hehe
Anyone short EUR/USD here? Market a little too sideways for me tonight.
edit: Doh, S/L hit for 3.4 pips.
Nice to actually be right for once... lol
How is everyone doing? I am really busy at work today and tomorrow, so no trading for me. VLNC Currently +7.00%.
Goodness guys... out of the last 4 picks I have entered, if I would just be a little more calm I would be rockin... I always write down on paper to see how stocks perform after I get rid of them...

I like all the brand lines that EIGH is selling their clothing line along side of, and competing with.
Pretty damn pristine, if you ask me.

haha Yes. I am a little concerned with this kind of a gap to start the week off, although generally the stock market runs opposite of the dollar.
The dollar is a risk aversion area that a lot of investors move their money to when the markets are taking a beating, and taken out of the dollar when markets are doing well...
I wonder if we should prepare for some FAS rides this week! hehe.
EUR/USD gapped nearly 50 pips up on the open this afternoon. What economic news miss did I miss?
The dollar is taking quite the beating... heh.
Rootin for the Blue Jackets (they need it)! lol...
And to think, I sold at 3.30... LOL....
Google Doc version of that link. Reading CSV's in plain text is no fun...

CNAM knocking on 4$'s door.
Hopefully we keep this going. 11.2k HOY.
By all means, according to zachs post, if waiting is not what Monk taught you, don't listen to what I am saying.
I primarily trade forex... and it is an extremely wild ride. I wait for candle closures because I want to know beyond a doubt (as much as possible) that I should be entering. Forex can show a strong cross 1 minute, then be completely uncrossed the next.
I have not been to a Monkinar either. I think I need to put a disclosure in my signature.
I'm not sure, since I do not know Monks rules. But when I trade with indicators, I always wait for the current time frames candle to close so that the indicator doesn't cross, then uncross.
I think if we can hold above 1.12 today we can see 1.20 shortly. IMO of course.
Continuity is all indicators pointing north saying GO GO GO GO. If any one of these indicators break (ie cross downwards), you have lost continuity and should exit the trade.
Bear shake you mean?
Or are you referring to a 'bull****' shake? lol.
You have to be one skilled flipper to flip a stock that goes down more often then up. lol
.... and that's why you don't trade forex during news releases. 100 + pip movements in less than an hour this morning no the USD lol.
Glad I stayed out.
Sounds like the usual setup for EIGH as of late.
No one is impressed, that is for sure.
This is completely true. If you focus on making good trades, rather than making money, the money will just flow to you.
Are you looking at any other ETF's besides the F's? I am not even touching them on anything > the 1 minute... they are just too flat right now. Scalpalicious, sure, but that's about it.
I'm pulling back to hour charts as of the last few days... It really helps eliminate some of the noise!!!
LONG EUR/USD (12:00 AM - 9:00 AM) (+80 pips in my sleep)
SHORT EUR/USD (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM) (+200 pips... wowzer. Did you get a piece of today's USD rally?)
LONG EUR/USD (2:00 PM) - Holding an open position with 20 or so pips. Market is probably going to trade sideways in tonights Sidney session. I am still bullish biased until 1.3940, but with a short leash. Downward move was too powerful...
Anyways, as stated I backed out to the hour time frame and things are moving much more smooth and clear. Hope your day was just as well!
Your doing fine and will get their friend. Compounding earnings is one amazing spectacle.
EUR/USD look out below!!!
Weeee. FaZ may finally be getting a little bit of juice. Nope. pulling the plug at 12.60.
Agreed, I am scalping .03-.04 per round here. Hardly worth it at all, and doing this I always end up missing the next run. hah.
I agree. I know this same type of setup burnt me on CNAM (exited with a .01 profit, and now it's +20%), but it seems like the insider purchase was used on this company again just to keep it from de-listing.
Stinks like yesterday and today's garbage! I don't know what to do heh.
Finally seeing some positive movement. Are you still holding?
It must be nice to be able to drop the price of a stock when buys outnumber sells. Last I checked demand > supply means the price goes up.
Seems a little unfair, and definitely against my interests.
It appears no selling is taking place at this level either. Go ahead MM's, drop it even further. You will find the same result where ever you go.
Why are you adjusting a tried and true formula? Shark had problems getting the standard settings to work because he wasn't following the rules...
She is on a very tight leash for me. Took the opportunity to get my average price down .02 more today. I'll give her till 1.05, I believe that is chance enough!
Goodness. After the squeeze occurs, we'll be hearing how much of a scam these stocks are because they are plummeting from a high.
Same ish, different day.
"Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth."
Keeping it on a tight leash that is for sure.
I certainly would ride it!!
Each time frame has it's purpose, and as you increase the timeframes, this holds true, moving from 1 minute up to 1 week, anything in between.
1) You get less entries.
2) You experience longer (bigger) draw downs.
3) Time in a trade is longer.
3) Profit targets are greater.
Each time frame moves in a wave of it's own, with each sub time frame moving inside of the current time frame. Over, and over, and over again.
On the 1 minute, I am usually shooting for .05-.20 targets, with .05-.10 being the norm.
