Anyone heard from IR lately? I am still waiting for a response. Would be nice to know what is going on. Place your bets for when the next MR will be out.
I read somewhere in either a PR or a RK response that SFMI had ordered or already bought equipment to add to the current production line to increase the output. Is there a timetable for when that equipment was going to arrive and be up and running? I may have missed it somewhere. I do know that the response was that current production would not need to slow or stop due to installation. Also curious as to when equipment was bought. Is it a loan or paid for with gold already. That'd be sweet. Anyone?
Just hold steady. Once the online easy 123 is up and the details smoothed out in the software, the promoting and marketing can begin and clients will sign up via the website for quick and easy access. That's just my take on a possible route. Let us see what happens. I don't think this is a scam though, I have seen far worse pink shells.
Wish I could go.. but I'm still a slave to the 9-5 grind, but hopefully not for long in the very near future.
Which means when its all said and done, even with a mediocre contract, the pps will rise about 5 cents. Man I can't wait.
No word back from the email I sent a few days ago. Surprised? Not really. Other pink sheet stocks I can get a response in minutes from the IR or the CEO.
Sent IR a couple suggestions for ways to improve communication with shareholders. We shall see what happens. They had a good idea with a forums page on their website, but it never developed and the site was revamped.
If they can't put out MR's on a routine schedule, maybe suggesting a blog on their website would be a more open means of communication. Sometimes not much happens in a month to make a big statement about, but it would keep us the shareholders in the loop.
Because I snagged em' all this morning! Muahahaha Touche'!
Huge volume the last few days, traders taking advantage of this entry point and riding the PR to the upside. ...
What the hell happened to this company? I used to work there in 2004 and the share price was $12. Granted, I did see a bunch of stuff that made me raise an eyebrow, so I left. I also think Les was retiring the following year as well. Seems to have plummeted since then.
Just waiting for the glorious MR on July 6.
But they can't take it off the internet. There is a dozen news websites that have published that PR info. Looks like CONC is going to have more than just shareholders complaining for an explanation.
That is the most phenomenal thing I have heard all day. I too shall adopt this practice.
My take is that GNF bought 500 units to try to plug into one of their projects where theft is an issue. They lease them for a year and do some math. If they come out ahead and continue with CONC, they'll get up to 150000 from them to complete the theft area. The region has a possibility of pushing towards 600000. They may see ITRON as a competitor? Why not buy out some small fish with a decent product that can be fine tuned to meet GNF's needs? The story gets interesting. (grabs some popcorn)
It sounds more like GNF is working on a $40m project that CONC is participating in, but not receiving the full 40m. In which case, if all goes well, CONC will join them on various other upcoming projects, which explains the possiblity of 600000 meters in the region. Nonetheless, the fact that they have indeed been picked up by a major company is good news.
More than likely the PR was considered the MR for June. We probably won't hear more about details until the July MR when hopefully by then they have the distribution agreements all worked out as well. Not going to hold my breath, but yes clarifying the details of what the 40m venture is would be nice to know.
If Dissur-Disnorte is the distributor and grid support, this info may be helpful down the road when comparing facts and time table estimates. There are many other locations to research in the drop down menu list; Costa Rica, Panama, etc. Anyways, interesting stuff. GLTA
Dissur-Disnorte
The bigger picture here is market entry with a very large no nonsense organization. This opens up tremendous possibilities in the region and finally gives CONC a leg to stand on for future customers. Great news.
Today marketcaster stopped streaming and I had to relog to reactivate it, refreshing wouldn't work. Either Java quit, isp lagged out, Etrade lagged out? If you're not seeing a change in volume on it, may need to relog in. Thing is awesome though, have it up all day on the other screen.
I no doubt have hope that they will succeed with a sale. However, I am still a little concerned that all I see are mediocre/poor 3d model illustrations for product information. I would be more excited if I saw actual prototypes in their working environment. Some photos of the guys down at Fenosa standing in front of the demo units with Bob, shaking hands and smiling would hold more water than an MR saying "We went down there." I'd like to know where these 500 meters a month that have been agreed upon are being manufactured and where they are getting the control boards from.
It is possible that the administration only knows limited amount in Spain, but they should be able to point you in the right direction to someone familiar with operations in Central America. Hopefully you hear pleasant news, if any news at all.
I agree with Lister. It could be possible that Bob is actually making progress, however, the information advocate that releases the PRs/MRs just isn't making the situation look favorable. Bob could be down there celebrating a closed deal and tried to relay the message back here, but alas, he can't get through because the IR guy is schlammered somewhere.
Guess they don't seem to think we are serious about setting his party board to private. People are getting fired for what they are posting on their facebook page, but they also work at real companies.
It is possible he doesn't even know everyone can see his page. Facebook is currently in the hot seat for resetting everyones privacy back to default = all can see your profile due to software updates. Sooooo, set to private Luca, please.
I'd say that pretty much sums it up.
I don't like the silence and I'm sure everyone else doesn't either, but, there isn't much you can do except keep trying or go knock on their front door. I hope they have made some good progress. My attention is diverted elsewhere at the moment considering this thing isn't moving anywhere lately.
Hello all -
Who are you guys buying through? I called Scottrade and they have told me this security is marked as a "no buy". Anyone else using Scottrade to purchase shares?
haha, i might have to make something in photoshop for that.
We will go very low if there is absolutely nothing except "talk and stories of great plans for the future" in the next MR. Investors need to see some real progress to get excited, as others have stated, most have given up and you can't blame them, 10-15 years and nothing has happened? Thats enough time to go to school, earn a masters, design something and produce it.
See, this is what Rallytee is talking about lol. There is no need for conspiracy theories or interpretations. He probably asked how the weather was in Costa Rica. :) Just have to wait and see what happens. Place your bets. I hope it goes lower so I can load up more.
I live in Tampa, but I honestly doubt I can take off work for it. I'll look at the schedule of events and see if anything during my time frame.
**edit** I looked at the events and I do not see a run down there over lunch or after work being doable. If Conc was going to be, that would be something to take a late lunch for just to see what material and information is being presented on their end.
I am waiting it out. Like you said, for as long as I've been holding, whats a few more months to see what happens. Its like a miniseries. Wonder what events happen this season.
The CEO doesn't have to be out in the field though splicing wires together. This is where outsourcing and contractors come into play. When I'm slammed with work or don't know how to do a character animation or what not, I'll look up reputable sources to do what they do best so I don't have to figure it out.
That other business looks like a pyramid scheme. Sort of like "Mona Vie" energy drink that I see people always selling. You report to a supplier who reports to a supplier that reports.... etc. But once again.... theres those awesome 3d product renders.
Usually we do renderings for 3 reasons
1. The product has not been created physically yet and is either just conceptual or CAD drawings.
2. Sometimes companies are using the same base model and merely doing simple changes to show results before retooling manufacturing machines.
I used to work for a company that did 3d renderings of appliances. Those renderings would appear in the catalogs for Sears and the like and you'd never know they were fake. We would also create the environment for those shots (fake laundry room, fake kitchen for the appliances etc.)
3. Sometimes it is more cost effective to have it done with photoreal 3d/photoshop work than to hire a crew to build a set and have a crew photograph it and still have to have post production use photoshop.
Answer here though is probably #1.
I cringe when I see this kind of stuff. I do 3d graphics and animation for a living and this would have taken all of an hour to make, including the render of the product. I see the link is no longer working as well. They need to turn on the screen they have, and copy that appearance.
Yea, I asked that a while ago about Austria/Germany. They have very specific cities for China and Central America, but they list Austria, Germany. Which is it? Austria or Germany. There is no city there named that. Two countries is a fairly broad spectrum for where they are going.
Not to be negative or bashing, but more or less an observation. I think Bob should consider someone else as the "face" of the company. I think Luca is more involved in other areas clearly. If his job is investor relations, he should be fired for poor job performance. 2 things right away could help this company and their image. Get an IR person that actually does that job and improve marketing (proof reading MR's and professional graphics/photos), when I go to their website and see generic low resolution images, I think of a cheap ebay sales store site. When you give someone a business card, is it crinkled and blurred? With a telephone number written in smeared pen? Appearance alone can make potential customers turn away quickly.
They keep saying Austria, Germany. Are they going to Austria or are they going to Germany, or both? Thats a pretty broad spectrum for destinations. Have they mentioned city names and I missed them?
