thanks for clarifying ron!
hoping you are right Large Green!
yea hopefully Tranche 5 doesn't get in the way of the rest of the process..
I concur..
If do end up getting paid, hopefully wmilt will update how they plan to distribute to classes 19 and 22 ..
would they argue that for preferreds too then?
that's what most of us who own escrows are hoping for.
if they don't file by tonight.. maybe that would be sign of a settlement?
if we get nothing in the end.. then everyone including the judge duped us with F & R, POR 7 and misguiding us to signing the releases.. which for most of us.. ended up as a pittance in WMIH shares.. and even further diluted COOP.
any significance to this? or not really
yea there's got to be at least 10B lying somewhere in the pile..
let's hope the last major step is the end of the stay on the EC claim.. hopefully no more tricks.. and no more delays
I hope you are right.
COOP so far has been an anomaly itself and has not been fair or reasonable to old wamu holders. Only fair and reasonable would be liquidation and distribution of whatever BK remote assets there are.
agreed
maybe.. either way the F&R thing would be to pay us 'oldies' for it.. if they somehow backdoor moved it to coop without compensating us then that would be low.
yep if all we end up is these wmih turned coop shares.. then it definitely wasn't fair and reasonable and we will have been duped by everyone including the judge..
I mean all we know is that JPM paid 1.9B for something.. but somehow they found 30B in the carcass of Wamu.. how is that fair.. not to mention the billions of assets that have been siphoned off
I think a reasonable target is 10B.. assuming we get something.. which is PAR for the old preferreds..
hopefully more like summer for escrows..
let's just hope 2/22 is the true beginning of the end.. rather than more bs dates brought forth to drag this out..
No. 20 of the LT Q&A:
"WMILT doesnot have anyinformation regarding any of the assets, claims or causes of action relevant to the Receivership and individuals having questions about the Receivership, ongoing litigation involving the Receivership, JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. and other relevant parties, should contact those parties for any such information."
so either Rosen et. al are blind (unlikely).. corrupt (possible).. or can't say anything until maybe the BK closes (considering A&M has been paid millions for counting what)?..
yes hopefully by the end of the month.. the bs EC claim is wrapped up and finally the BK can close.
that's what I was just thinking..
unless they can't 'pursue' per say and somehow the assets will magically be handed back to WMILT..
yup. fingers crossed!
hopefully not the 4th quarter of this year.. but sooner.. we've already waited 40 quarters!
yup.. the hedgies having signed the same releases is what we pray is the sign that all will get paid..
but if they were offered some sort of back door that we are commoners are unaware of, then we could be screwed... I mean unlikely considering they should be holding all the same escrows as us.. but who knows..
hopefully all will be clear soon
where is it being called "Receivership Certificates"? don't think I see it in the WMILT Q&A..
if $ do flow down to classes 19 and 22.. any ideas as to what 'mechanisms' WMILT may employ to pay us?
I think the 'stay' from Walrath's ruling on the EC issue expires?... then hopefully the floodgates open?
40B / 4X PAR
didn't the CIC happen at the end of 2018? Or at least that's what some have said on this forum..
10B.. more likely than COOP going 40X..
that's why COOP has always been on the backburner for many legacy wamu owners (especially after the splits and dilution)
hopefully it will be soon.. March or this spring.. that Class 18 and 19 will be paid.
so no need for Feb 5 'pretrial' any more?
she will have another chance on Feb 5.. hopefully she doesn't disappoint this time.. the EC issue has dragged for 3 months now with things going in circles
I agree. There's got to be enough for at least PAR on the preferreds. let's get this going.
I guess since WMILT just said no distribution Feb 1 .. things are still at an impasse
which parties agreed to this negotiated settlement?
yup for signing releases in return for what 6/7 years later? a bunch of wmih shares that turned into even fewer coop shares..
so the DCR can be adjusted any time now?
what happens after that?
how would FDIC pay SH? hard to imagine FDIC cutting us each a cheque in the end.
