Yes Richie - Lady D is responsible for the original "foundation" for Mineseeker and Mike Kendrik is its current founder. The humanitarian appeal is staggering and Quasar will have the privilege of seeing it to fruition.

I would think Kosovo might be the front runner since initial proof of concept testing was carried out there - provided they front the funds necessary to accomplish it in a timely manner. I'm sure there will be a huge demand once the first country reports success with the endeavor.

Excellent analysis Banker, although I must say it most likely is way over the bears heads. The lender is not in this for love - they know they have a gold mine in Quasar, and the money they are loaning them is a drop in the bucket compared to their expected returns. They will have shares for collateral, but more than that, they will see to it that Quasar succeeds. That makes it a win-win-win situation for them, Quasar and the investors. Few stocks ever give their investors an opportunity like this, which is truely and opportunity of a lifetime. As you have repeatedly said, smart money is into this stock in a BIG way...

I totally agree Jinman. I know that Dean will soon be looked upon as a hero by many. His success in putting together this Aerospace Conglomerate will be the financial salvation for many folks that have believed in his vision and invested in Quasar. Soon instead of being flooded with irate phone calls from thankless impatient idiots, he will be flooded with calls of sincere thanks and gratitude, especially from those investors whom he has saved from financial ruin due to the present economy. However all who have invested here will reap rewards that I'm sure will be beyond their wildest dreams. I know I'll be one of them as will many of my friends and family members.
Makamai
And then there are those folks who could care less because they march to the beat of a different drum....

Yesterday's News Release just came out again, so I guess Dean got the message.
Makamai
A nice location right on the Beach - could easily be tempted to join you. For now, however, need to start squeezing the float and get this baby rolling to some new highs...Keep up the buying Dean..
Makamai
A whopping 150 shares traded so far today - guess that's better than none...

Looks like your dream is about to come true and you'll be joining us over here in Paradise any day now

For what it's worth - Skymark Research sent out a Friday update stating: "Our next stock recommendation is scheduled to be released very soon." I can't imagine a better candidate than QASP. Will they wait until it's totally obvious, or take a wee bit of a gamble?
If it is QASP, it will be interesting to see what their target price estimate is and what their research is based upon.

Skymark had a Friday update "Our next stock recommendation is scheduled to be released very soon." They have a lot of followers and provide realistic target price estimates. We'll see if they do as you suggest and wait till it's obvious, or take a wee bit of a gamble. I can't imagine a better candidate than QASP.

Hey Cat...you hit the nail squarely with that statement - contract wording tells it all, but only to the principals to the agreements. If the lender requires a "minimum" of 40% of the total potential O/S, then they will receive 600M shares since the A/S can't be exceeded at 1.5B. That leaves 900M. That way, Dean can buy back shares and take them out of circulation for employee incentive programs without the lenders percentage ever dropping below 40%. Since the lenders shares are class B common shares, the lender couldn't take over the company if his percentage were to exceed 50% with Dean dropping the remaining O/S to 700M lets say, since the class B shares are non voting. Also the lenders shares can't be exercised for a minimum of 3 years. That gives Dean time to build the company. All is good and I've got a good feeling about next week.
Makamai
And your point is????

I can't imagine a more perfect fit for an aerospace conglomerate to have, than a top of the line maintenance faciliy with years of experience, capable of performing FAA required inspections and certifications and able to implement and approve modifications. Corporate Air Repair looks like a one stop shop....Awesome
Makamai
W6 - I guess that all depends on which rumor you are subscribing too....
Makamai
I just want the share buy back to get started because then we know we are on to bigger and better stuff...
Makamai
iKauai - you can please some of the peeps some of the time, and some of the peeps all the time but you can't please all the peeps all the time. Some folks will complain just for the sake of complaining and nothing ever satisfies them. Today's news is IMO setting the stage for world wide publicity and good will that money can't buy.
Mineseekers will be a cash cow for QASP. I suspect that the contracts Quasar obtains will have healthy down payments and revenue could easily exceed the announced revenue of the first 4 acquisitions combined, that everyone seems to feel are so important and have blinders on with regards to anything else. The next couple weeks should be quite revealing IMHO in this regard.
Makamai
You're right - I could but then I wasn't the one questioning it and my response wasn't directed at you either as I recall
His sponsors won't need his services any longer and of course he won't post that all this time he has been hoarding shares like everyone else. Finished green today and boy those bollies are sure pinching tightly.
Makamai
The easiest thing to do would be to get on the OTC-QX, and then jump to a higher exchange from there, but I'm hearing that Dean has loftier plans than that.
Have you called the Transfer Agent to check the O/S? TA isn't gaged.
Makamai
Or maybe the NYSE...
I hope the financing doesn't result in dilution - any discussion in that regards.
Makamai
There are 90 countries that need to rid themselves of land mines. Mineseeker has been a non profit foundation http://www.mineseeker.org/ with very notable patrons including
Nelson Mandela (retired), Queen Noor of Jordan, Lord Richard Attenbourough, Sir Richard Branson, Dame Graca Machel, Dr Majid Alsadi, JP DeJoria and Brad Pitt just to name a few. Quasar will take the technology to the next level and begin land mine clearing operations that will be much faster than any technology to date. http://www.mineseeker.com/ This will be a very lucritive undertaking. In addition, there are a lot of commercial uses of the technology which will be forthcoming.
Makamai
You might want to add http://www.marketwire.com/ just type in QASP and it will bring up all NRs since early June. Yahoo deletes them after about a month or so.
Makamai
Aloha TMJ - my jaw hurts everytime I look at that handle as I have TMJ(lol) Anyhow, as part of your DD, check out the NRs which are available on Marketwire http://www.marketwire.com/ Just type in QASP. They go back to the formation of QASP.
To more specifically answer your question about revenue, check out http://www.marketwire.com/press-release/Quasar-Aerospace-Industries-Inc-Announces-Agreement-for-Its-4th-Acquisition-1027395.htm That is the last revenue announcement made, however look at Mineseeker and Tigerfish and you'll each one of those JVs could equal or better the first 4 acquisitions, and there are 9 acquisitions in the pipeline if you refer to http://valuewiki.wikia.com/wiki/Quasar_Aerospace_Industries,_Inc._%28QASP%29
Hope that helps,
Makamai
The A/S was increased for one reason and one reason only - to enable the company to provide 40% of the O/S to the lender as collateral for the 350 million loan. (you don't get any sort of loan without some form of collateral in place as a safety valve for the lender) These shares will be provided in the form of Class b common shares w/o voting rights. In fact, the CEO will be buying back shares starting IMO next week, which will decrease the O/S and really tighten the float so he has stock to provide to the acquisitions for incentive plans. Keep the stock on your radar and watch it closely next week.
Makamai
Sounds ok, however Quasar is acquiring companies that are already profitable and IMO will have in excess of 1 billion in gross revenue in 2010 based on the number of acquisitions and JVs. Present stock price is about 1-1/2 cents and will easily exceed a buck this year. Do the math.
Makamai
I have done extensive DD on Quasar (QASP) and been in the stock since July 2009, and if I were you, I would look seriously at the stock starting next week. The financing is the real deal obtained through life insurance policies and converted into bonds. IMHO, the company is about to begin a serious buy back of their shares up to 20% of the outstanding shares (O/S) currently at about 900 mil. (the company previously NR'd their intentions to buyback shares) There have been delays in obtaining this financing but my DD tells me there is a high probability that it will be completed by the EOM. Also, there are presently 9 acquisitions in the pipeline, 2 have been purchased but not named as of yet do to NDA's in place. Also 2 JV's have been named, Tigerfish and Mineseeker. I would definitely keep this stock on my radar if I were you. It will be a life changer for many people.
Makamai
That buying pressure could come from the company itself if they get on board with a serious buyback. I base my reasoning on:
1. Dean has NR'd that they would buy back from 10 to 20% of the O/S. That equates to 90 to 180 million shares (using O/S of 900 mil).
2. I doubt if there is 180 mil shares left in the float at the present time, considering how low the SP has been for so long due to delays in financing which has resulted in more and more people coming on board, flippers flipping and increasing their shares, smart money continuing to buy, etc.
So it could get really interesting over the next two weeks if Dean somehow finds the money to get a serious buy back going IMHO.
Makamai
I agree StockSwami - smart money is buying when everyone else is selling and heading to the sidelines. Over time, this stock will reward the faithful IMHO as the company's products will become more in demand.
Makamai
It would appear that the company isn't ready yet to start any sort of PR campaign to ignite the stock. I think they are still focusing on the merger and other details as suggested by the recent NR. I suspect once that process is completed, they will start working the SP in earnest.
Makamai
A BIG AMEN to that BANKER...
I couldn't agree more that proper DD is important to "keeping what you have in this market". But those who either have hidden agendas or can't simply pick up the phone, but would rather criticize for the sake of criticizing are doing themselves and anyone foolish enough to listen to them a major dis-service. This stock has many DD sources other than only listening to stock forums which is what a fool would do IMHO of course...
Makamai
BANKER - I've learned that any fool can complain, criticize and condemn - and in fact, most do. On the other hand, this stock is the easiest to DD of any I've owned for many years. It's a no brainer. This will be one for the record books IMHO. Long and very strong.
Makamai
If you are not going to buy any more shares until the O/S reaches 900 mil, then you may not be buying any more shares period....keep that in mind.
Makamai
I agree totally - I refinanced my home this past year. In the past it would have taken 3 weeks, it took over 3 months and I have an exceptionally good credit rating - just a lot more bureaucracy and red tape now days.
Makamai
Nice looking hammer candle there Clay - we'll see how bullish that is tomorrow.
