Ihub,
The simple answer is "No"..When MS's testers give back their Vista software..I might think about it..but I don't see that happening..I am not a customer..however..when and if Onev puts MV with my carrier..I might think about it then also..but that would be sort of stupid wouldn't it??? veno
Sky..you are correct and the fault
lies with MS..They have given MC to the OEMs and haven't done a thing to help promote it..MC is for people who are video and music oriented..It could be for the every day user if they could get comfortable using their big screens as monitors..I did see where there was going to be a bigger push this holiday season..but who knows what that will be..I am waiting for Vista only because of the added security and some added features..I will be using MV's email functions and I want to know they are secure..I also plan on using the web quite a bit along with the video conferencing feature..I don't know what hardware problems you had..but the one I did was pretty straight forward..The microphone was OK..but the remote will be a vast improvement..I don't quite understand your reference to MS's remote as you cannot use it as a microphone..Its purpose is to operate the MC functions..With Onev's remote you do that by voice and can do it from any room in the house..You don't have to be within 10 feet of the microphone that comes with it..Dean said the next remote would have a speaker for taking the phone calls from anywhere within a 150 feet..that remains to be seen..However..you can always do that through the speakers of your TV if you are close by..As far as MCC getting a big play from the OEMs..it hasn't..They as well as Onev thought the remote would be ready far before this and now they are in wait for that to happen..It is IMO..the "Cool" part of MCC..I do know that Onev is working already with the home automation side and there has been sales..However..I wouldn't think that many..I have said it before..that MCC will get more notice when all of the pieces are there..but even then in order to bring in the bigger revenues they need to bundle with a very large player..That we know will not happen until Vista shows up..The remote should be coming soon but I have a feeling the home automation side will be the first to get it..Finally..I don't ever see MCC bringing in the revenues that the carriers will..You buy MCC and thats it..as a user of MV you pay for it over and over..month after month..You could argue that MCC costs more..but I was told a long time ago that the profit is no where near what MV could bring in..Just one of the large carriers and and Onev is set...veno
liars..
In many posts I have talked about why I have MV..Onev was looking for early testers and I of course jumped at it..I have provided feedback at times that has helped the techs at Onev..I continue to provide feedback if I see something that could benefit the MV user..Others have been given a chance to use it also..If you are asking me to give it up..LOL..over my dead body..I have purchased MCC..which I set up on a friends MC..It works great..When Vista finally arrives..I will be purchasing another copy of MCC and it will all be tied into my home theater set up...veno
A new link
to Telmex popped up tonight..Telnor which I believe is the email provider for Telmex can now be assessed through the user login page...veno
This goes against any argument
that Onev is a scam..Why would any carrier publish to their users how great Onev's MV is?? If Onev is a scam then so is Next-Tech..That argument is and has been proven dead..Oh and the free trial period is over for their existing customers...veno

I don't post there..sorry..eom
Sarge..a daytrader??LOL..
Not in my wildest dreams..I have averaged down every chance I get and hold..I sold about one-third of my shares on the run-up back in 04 and haven't sold again..Onev hasn't delivered yet..that is obvious as the pps reflects..Onev will never go up and stay up until they do deliver the big contracts..That has always been a fact..It does require patience..I do have just that..even when we are down...veno
Neal..
Thanks for the reply..I find it interesting that you say you don't know that Onev is scamming their investors..when you have mentioned it post after post..As for this..
"You tout their VR tech."
Yes I do..I use the tech and therefore have good reason to tout it..I have used other VR for various reasons and still find Onev's to be the most accurate..and this..
"You are supposed to know so much about VR...how could you have failed to notice that ONEV has done practically nothing of substance in the seven years the industry has gone from the drawing board to mainstream?"..
I have been here since MV first started to be shown to the carriers..I have watched the tech improve and have witnessed the functionality first hand..It hasn't been easy for Onev to get the carriers to say yes and for many quarters we didn't get a contract..However..since JJ and Aaron have come on board we have seen the beginning of that acceptance..If you think VR is mainstream..just look around..How many people are getting their emails read to them and are replying by voice??How many are using SMS using their voice?? Call centers and VAD have been around forever..Still people hate call centers and how many actually use VAD?? VR is in its beginning..every article points to that fact..MS still says public acceptance of VR is years away..and this..
"I'm not sure whether you are addicted to the stock or just playing the CD board game with others employed to plaster this type of deal all over the internet.."
Funny..I have told you many times..I am just an investor that really likes the tech..uses it and believes that the management will get the big contract they need to pull us up..Therefore..I continue to buy when we are down..My choice..My investment..Also if you think that by posting on RB and IHUB to a handfull of posters is plastering Onev all over the internet..its not..If anything..MCC is all over the internet and not by my doing..and this..
"So either way, what is wrong with pointing out to people that what appears in the company PRs is NOT what always ends up appearing in their SEC filings 9-12 months down the road?"
Nothing wrong with pointing out the obvious..calling the company a scam is..and finally..
"You can't even admit that the odds of you having been conned by ONEV and their management is at least as great as the possibility they are a scam. You are in denial and looking to blame everyone but the person who put you where you are. I'm not the enemy, slugger....you have met the enemy and he is YOU."
I know I haven't been conned as you say..because I have been to their offices..I have seen the people working on the tech..I have talked to each and everyone of them at one time or another face to face and I have also talked to some of the companies they are working with..It is not a con..it is a very small company doing everything they can to get noticed..It really is just that simple..I am not looking to blame anyone..You will have to decide at some point if you had any part in hindering the success of this company..I doubt it..but trying to scare away investors even if it is only one by calling the company a scam..will not be forgotten..I do like the "Slugger" label better than "Chief"..thanks for that..and we shall see just how this all plays out..as I am sure both you and I are not going away anytime soon...veno
I wasn't going to reply to
you here Neal..but this one rates a response..
"I don't believe in shell companies scamming people out of their money without anyone doing something to stand in their way. So if I happen across one that, IMO appears to be doing some pretty shady things with their shareholders equity, I stand in their way and expose a few unpleasant facts they present differently between their PRs and their board shills and what they actually report to the SEC in their legal filings."
Here is the problem that I have with your posts since day one..Everyone of them have been based on this part of your statement..
"So if I happen across one that, IMO appears to be doing some pretty shady things..
It "Appears" to you that One is scamming people"..
What if they haven't been?? What if it has taken this long to get their tech accepted..Then what have you done??
You jumped on this stock solely because it fit a pattern you thought was not right..You never checked the tech out yourself..and you haven't seen the techs and management at work..
You will be finding out the truth soon enough..I hope the next time you spend your every waking hour trying to destroy a good company..you do some DD first...veno
Morley..at this point in time..
I really don't care where it is held..I only care that it will happen..Toronto in the summer..SD in the winter..or Hawaii anytime..GLTY...veno
We at least agree on one thing..
"So buy them shares and hold on...ta the MOON baby!"
I plan on that very thing happening..Please come back after Onev has signed the carriers in Mexico and we will talk about what VR is competition there..Mexico has many carriers.. I do believe that Onev's MV will end up with the majority of them...veno
No, but I do love the tech..
and I really like being invested in a company that not many investors believe has a chance in Hell in succeeding..Very few of the general investment community has even heard of Onev..I do believe that is going to change in a big way before this year is out..if you want a stable stock bet on the NYSE..This stock is not for the faint of heart..Thanks for the question though...veno
As Buybyebuy would say..an interesting read..
From CTIA..

The Cedia show will start their exhibitions today..
Looks like Dean and Adam will be with some big players in the home automation area while there..From what I could gather it also looks like all of the upgrading of the remote is finally run its course..It would be nice to hear of the avialbility to the public soon..Since they are using this show for the home automation side..they will probably get the first crack at it..Could be they might announce public availability at the next show..Either way it is coming..and it will have the "Green Button" as it did at the shareholder's meeting..so MS has tested it and has certified it..It would be nice to get an update from the show this week..but something about the remote would be nice even after it is over..On the carrier side Jacobo said a couple of weeks ago that there is no competition for VR as far as all of the carriers in Mexico are concerned..He also added that Onev has a great chance at getting not just the two top players but many more of the rest..We are overdue for news and it sounds to me like the next couple of weeks will bring just that..Good luck to all the longs that have hung in through it all...veno
Net..once again..
I am done with you unless you decide to post your lies here again..Good luck with your flipping the shares here...veno
I don't know how to answer
someone who has posted many times about how bad Onev is and then later posts how great a buy it is and they are the best..Now that same person admits he doesn't have enough cash to buy cheap shares..The stock is at little over a penny and you don't have the cash to by some shares?? Actually Onev generated around 500K or more revenue with Warner Brothers..They generated 50K with Disney..I would say that those two companies are big and believed in the tech..No..I don't want to stick around five more years..I have been here a little over four already and waited patiently for Onev to get it right..They have done that as you will see..I always said I could wait..I did..and it will pay off..I could care less if your trading style has let you down. I have always been long Onev..and I have postioned myself right where I want to be..Trade as you like..but it sounds to me like it isn't working for you...veno
I would say..Treats...eom
Net rebuttal..
The company does have the financing to pull this off..Financing has never been a problem with the amount of shares they have..Dilution is a problem and only can be solved with revenue..I find this statement from TCS interesting considering..they are well aware of Onev's finances..
"The Indian market for mobile voice services has exploded to more than 100 million today from 5 million in 2001 and will continue to grow at a phenomenal pace, as consumers want easier, faster and natural access to e-mails and other information while on the move. With increasing penetration of mobile devices, it is a win-win situation for both TCS and One Voice to customize and deliver such value-added services to telecom operators globally," said N. Sivasamban, global head, Telecom Practice, Tata Consultancy Services.
Now here is one of the largest companies in India signing a multi-year agreement to work with One Voice..
I think I will trust the word of TCS that Onev will be around to live up to that Multi-Year agreement..
Your speculation comes from no source..other than your desire to buy shares cheap and sell on the news..which you already admitted to on the other board..Good luck with that.. As I said your lies will not be overlooked or tolerated here..and if you looked at the last filing Onev is generating revenue and it is growing...veno
Morley..may we all live
to see the day..Or at least be able to still walk upright..LOL..I was looking at the exhibitors over at the CTIA show in LA happening today and saw that RIM was there..What I didn't see were any voice companies..I wonder why that would be the case..considering it is a wireless show and there are a few carriers there..Seem that would been a good fit for Onev..With Verisign there and the carriers..I would guess that Onev is at least paying it a visit..Stay young at least until the big one comes and for all of us..I hope that is not a heart attack..LOL..GLTY...veno
Yep..considering I am older
than Dean..I am hoping for that big contract sooner than his jest..You are correct about his well being however..may he live on..As you can see many do not have the patience to see how it turns out..The Blackberry solution has been here all along..Tiny buttons will be replaced by VR..The question is.. when will the general public see how much easier everything is just using your voice?? The old rotary dial went away slowly..It will take time for people to get rid of punching buttons on mobile phones..keyboards and using those little wands that always get lost..For this company it has always been..get one big one and the rest will follow..With Telmex..Telcel backed by AM and India backed by Tata..I would think we are close to seeing the beginning of that trend up we have been waiting for..GLTY...veno
Sarge..have you not averaged down
at all during the many down cycles?? or have you just held on to your original investment??? veno
Whattamarune..you have to admit it does provide
for some amusement while we wait and wait and wait..However, since Rob won't take his calls..it is done at his own expense..You have been absent for a very long time..Renewed interest?? or just checking in??Either way good to hear from you again..I do believe you have been with this company much longer than I have if I remember right..Slow progress has been made..We are still looking for that one big company..It just might happen before Dean passes away..I believe he said something to that effect at the shareholder's meeting..in jest..when asked about "Breakeven" for the fourth time..LOL..Good to see you around..Don't give up on Mexico coming in..they are due...veno
Twice you have lied
and made statements that you say came from Rob..This company has plenty of financing..The financiers are chomping at the bit to get the deals they get from Onev. Also your calls to get a shareholder's meeting had no effect..They needed shares voted on in July..plain and simple and the time set was for that purpose..If you called for a shareholder's meeting..why didn't you attend?? If you did show up..you didn't ask one question..thats a fact..Net you need a new game..this one isn't working and your continued lies will not be tolerated here...veno
This statement is not true..and your source
did not tell you that..Better call him again and see what you get..I think you called the wrong number..LOL...veno
"No telecom company will do business with onev because they have no finacing to keep company afloat and is in imminet danger of folding."
Buybye..I looked all over the
floor for Embedded Automation and couldn't find them..Thanks..I did find Exceptional Innovation with HP..It would be great if they both had Onev on display..Thanks again...veno
Ihub..
Look above the MY Home link on the main menu..

As far as the Ultra Mobile PC..They had one at the shareholder's meeting and Dean commented that they had already integrated MCC with that platform as well as the Apple Mini..They expected to see the U.M. to get even smaller...veno
Interesting to find Onev still
listed on the main menu of Exceptional Inovation's Home automation controller..It was just announced that Onev was with Embedded Automation and it seems Onev will be at the Cedia show with both of the other companies present.. Also Onev has mentioned it's integration with the Ultra Mobile platform..I wonder who Onev will be with at the show...veno

Ihubposter..You are comparing
two types of similar but different technologies which also includes a huge difference in how each are delivered..Again I will say that VR handset technology has been around for a long time now..VAD services on handsets is almost common place in the U.S. Almost every single carrier that I know of offers to their customers various handsets for sale that have many different technologies including VR..MVC..offers a very limited email send feature for various handsets which they host..It is much easier to go to a carrier and say please include our features on your various handsets and will take care of customer support..Where Onev is selling a carrier based solution that is offered to their entire sub base..In the latter scenario..You have to prove to the carrier a number of things..First and formost..is it a revenue producer for them?? What is the proven take rate..What are the customer support issues since the carrier handles those issues..How is it marketed and many more items including integrating it with all of their other services including voicemail..How do you do that without a proven track record of other carriers already using it?? There is no evidence whatsoever that Sprint has said we don't think that Onev's tech is any good so lets go with MVC..To the contrary what we have seen is Onev take over contracts of another VR company with similar tech because the tech is that much better..Why haven't we seen the big carriers say "Yes" yet??..Because they do want to see if it works and how much they will make..That is why Onev has been working with these small carriers to build a case for inclusion to the larger carriers..The process of getting a small carrier to sign is simple..You go to the head of the company..you show them the tech and they say we will test it and then they sign..In a carrier like Telmex you have 12 to 15 levels of sign offs and testing..This technology impacts the whole carrier not just some top of the line handsets which can be made by other manufactures..Onev's tech can be used by any cellphone or landline phone..That is a huge tech breakthrough..Other than the carriers that Onev has landed..no other carrier offers this type of tech to their whole customer base..Telmex has tested MV..Jacobo has been getting the various levels to sign off..When you hear about Telmex signing on..think about what it means..They will have opened the door to a carrier who is a part of a 100 mil subscriber base..That dwarfs anything in the U.S. and when it happens Onev will have even more to show the larger carriers here...veno
Speech Recognition in Vista..
I wonder if MS really thinks its VR is that great if they bury it..(Just like the current MS Windows OS)..in the Control Panel (See links below)..What I do like however..is the Narrator function if you hit the next push tab on the second opened link or find it in the last link..Too bad they buried that also..By the way..how many of the posters here have used the current VR in Windows or even know how to find it..(Tip)..It is also located in your control panel function..if you haven't seen it or used it..give it a try..One other interesting note..notice that you need to connect a microphone to get Vista's VR to work..Not good for the MC experience if I remember right..LOL..

http://www.pcmag.com/slideshow/0,1206,pg=0&s=400&a=187772,00.asp
I should add that MV is 100%
controlled in a machine (server) and the messages that go through that server are not read by the company..Also MV doesn't need to be perfected once you start using it..The speech engine has already been perfected...veno
Buybye..Ihubposter..I wonder if
the users of Mobile Voice Control have read the Terms Of Service Agreement before they use the VR features of MVC?? Seems that MVC actually has a human interface..in that when you send a message a person or persons at the company actually can read those messages and use them to help make your voice experience better..LOL..Big Brother is watching..Pay particular attention to #3 in the link below...veno
http://www.mobilevoicecontrol.com/pp.aspx
Buybye..thanks for the link..
If I remember right..MC will be on the Premium Home and Ultimate versions of Vista.. Dean said in the meeting..depending on the vendor..MCC software and the remote would run between $180-$250..I remember him saying that some thought Onev's price was too high and some thought it was too low..That price however was for the current version and not for Vista..I would imagine it would be more when Vista comes out because the Vista Remote was to have a speaker in it..Thanks again...veno
Interesting to look back and
hear that Onev has a large distributor ready to go in Mexico for MCC..I hope we hear about that sooner than later...veno
Ihub..VAD and services with VR
control have been around for a very long time..I don't think you understand that many carriers offer phones that have VR capabilites already on board.. MVC offers a download that adds an email send feature..The other features such as surf the web etc are already out..Again this is directed to individual handsets and is not carrier based where all users can use it regardless of what phone they have..Also..Like I said..it is very primitive VR..There is no Email read..Voice record..CC or SMS functions..Check the link out below..Even if they offer it down the road on various cellphones it is not close to what a carrier hosted solution would be...veno
http://www.mobilevoicecontrol.com/7520_install_guide.aspx
Ihub..you need to read the article again..
It says nothing about functioning on cellphones..It is for their business customers to be used on their Blackberries..I am surprised you don't know what MV offers by now..You would know by reading the article that MVC offers very limited technology..There is currently no carrier based MV fuctions available that offer all that Onev has...veno
Ihub..I said I talked with
him at the shareholder's meeting..That was at the one from the year before..since then I have spoken with him by phone on several occasions, once he just happened to be in the office when I had called for some clarification and he spoke with me on speaker phone..Sorry if there was confusion in my post...veno
Buybye..That certainly looks to
be a competitor in the making..It sounds like the functionality is limited..Emails have to be spoken very slowly and it allows only limited words in the email send mode.. MV as you know allows unlimited email send functions.. I sent a voice recording that lasted at least 20 minutes in length.. Also I don't see the email read function..Good DD though..it is good to see what is coming..Interesting name don't you think?? MobileVoiceControl..LOL..Thanks for the link...veno
Ihub..at the shareholder's meeting..
JH read a letter from Jacobo..In the letter Jacobo said he would be happy to talk with any shareholder that had any questions..It was either myself or another shareholder that reported what he said a long time ago either here or on RB..I don't rememeber which..The directions were that Onev would set up a group conference call when they got the requests in..I recently called and asked if that was still on..and from what I could gather Onev didn't receive but one other request..I asked if I could talk with him and it was arranged...veno
Bulls..I guess you would have to
ask him yourself and then take what he gives you and decide if what he has said rings true.. From the first time that I talked with him at the shareholder's meeting and through various other conversations..he has always said that the tech is the best he has ever seen and the reason he has invested so much in this company..You can make many assumptions to the contrary but then that would make him a liar..I do know that all that have met him personally would not agree to that..You sure act like you know a lot about this company..the people running it and the tech..Yet all of your scenarios are without having been to a shareholder's meeting..You have never met or talked one on one with management..seen a live demo or used the tech.. Not much of a base I would say to base your assumptions on...veno
