The stock price in the third quarter of 03 ranged from .07 cents to the mid .20's. Obviously Kelly had to draw against this line. Now it has been reported that the line has been paid off. Yes there may be some shares still being sold and are probably being moved through VNDM.
Just curious as to why this stock is under such intense scrutiny. It appears to me we either have some short players attempting to hold onto their gains or we have some folks that look at the world in very pessimistic views. Frankly I could care less what some of you have to say here. In my many years of reading OTC financials I haven't found ANY companies that their balance sheets would intice me to buy their securities. It's a good damn thing I don't put much weight on these because I would have missed the huge windfalls I have enjoyed. Of all the speculating I have done the last 15 years, no stock I have wagered on shows more potential than this one IMO. I look for FUTURE POTENTIAL in this type of security and don't care about the past. By no means is this a home run but I am betting my investment will do just fine over time.
By the way, when I take a position in this type of security, I look for monumental returns like 6 figures. I risk play money and have been right many more times than wrong. My bet is still very long here and am looking for a 3.00 to 5.00 per share return. Go ahead and laugh, I've done it before and I'll do it again.
Have a great day,
weo
Greg,
It is also my opinion that we will see significant news SOONER than later. Call this my "optimistic" view of the current situation. Either we have a technologically advanced system or we don't. I am betting we do and the timeline indicates to me that after two years of R&D, many tweaks and changes to enhance this product, we have arrived IMO.
Let me also add that the current day to day swings of this stock mean little to me. I have purchased many shares between .07 and 1.05. That's right 1.05. I sold some in the 1.20 range and bought back many more shares around the .40 cent range. I didn't buy this stock for a few penny rise and don't engage in the day to day banter of how risky this may or may not be. That determination is for each to determine and should not be influenced by any individual on this board. I bought this stock for a potential windfall. I speculated on this stock way back when and IMO, my chances of the windfall happening are far better now than at any time I have owned this stock.
Always good to read your posts and thanks for your tireless efforts.
Best to you as always,
weo1998
Greg,
MLCO dropped from trading most BB stocks. I believe they will disappear when their customer is done.

I have refrained from posting as to stay away from message board confrontation however let me add my two cents. This is a speculative stock. Filings for OTC stocks are useless in my opinion. Stocks like VTSI are all about the future. If the future never comes then this stock will fit into the same category as 97% of the OTC. When I found this potential opportunity, I found something missing in most OTC stocks, good communication from the company. That has not changed and the potential of this company has increased dramatically IMO. This 8K adds potentially 2 Million plus shares to the float and maybe it doesn't. The 8K was filed in the appropriate time. I need no more information than was in the 8K. That's life at the corporate level.
Best to all,

Hi guys, new to your board. A couple I like are WDC, Western Digital, 30MA is good and it just crossed the 200MA to the upside. I like the 10.00 July call currently at 3.40.
PFE is in a nice uptrend after getting through 35.00. The Feb and March 32.50 call are about the same at 3.30 or so, I also like the Jan 2006 40.00 leap at 2.70.
NTE has had a huge correction and seems to have leveled out at about 27.00-28.00. For those that like writing covered calls look at the Feb 30.00 call. You can get for 2.00 a share. Very intriguing to say the least. This one may be a bit risky for most though IMO.
Love your board and hope I can bring some value to it.
Best to all in 2004,

You guys search for the negative like "that's" the news. If the man said nothing you would complain about lack of any guidance. This is a potential lotto ticket IMO, maybe our 6 numbers come in and maybe they don't.
Let's let things happen as they shall.
JMO,

Here are two companies that have benefited greatly from homeland security contracts: TASR and MRKL both have increased in value many fold over a very short period of time and have sustained their gains, check them out. I realize they have smaller floats than VTSI but a 260M market cap puts us at about 8.00 if I am correct. Please remember I am assuming the same contract value and alot of "ifs" but you just never know.
Best to all,

You bet I am still here Greg. I have never been given a reason to sell. As my friends say when I hit a golf shot "just let it develop" lol

CWIR traded 24.3M plus shares in March and roughly 162M through yesterday. Authorized is 250M which 100M are restricted. Most shares traded above .02 level which leads me to believe most of the convertibles have been taken out. Just my opinion based on the last 6 weeks of trading.
We should find out soon if these guys speak the truth or if they are just blowing smoke. I am long at these levels which means I am accepting the risk.
Best to you all,

SirFelix, I hardly believe our float is an issue. In fact, I would find it selfish if the company instituted a buy back anytime soon while having this precarious cash position. I also believe this stock will become noticed and found when/if they close one of these deals. From a speculative point of view, this stock at its current price should be worth the risk of taking a position. The down side is minimized by the upside potential IMO.
As far as the 10K is concerned, I view this as a start up company. Most have little or no sales and dilute themselves to death. While we have had some minor dilution, nothing like many other companies. IMO, there is nothing in the financials that was a surprise. VTSI is an OTC traded stock. I didn't expect that we would have been profitable for the year. There was some improvement in the 4th quarter, hopefully we can build on that. The debt we have was from the R/M. Can't do anything about that except trust that our CEO knows what he is doing. That is the REASON I am still here. I still have faith and trust that Kelly Jones will accomplish what he is attempting to do. He certainly has a bigger stake in making this company profitable as well as a leader in their industry than I do. Am I happy with the share price? I don't need to answer that but I have decided to buy some at these levels.
As always, these are my personal opinions and should be viewed as such. Please don't by any stock based on someone elses opinion.
Best to all,

Scruffy, I couldn't agree with you more eom
Best to you,

Why don't you all wait and read the 10k before jumping. Goodness, you would think we were GM or something. Folks get with it, this is a speculative play. Kelly Jones is far too smart not to succeed IMO.
weo
After watching this trade it is my opinion we are witnessing either investors bailing at a four year low price, naked shorting up the a## or heavier dilution than what I would have thought. I am leaning toward dilution because we have some new MM's selling at these levels who haven't been on the bid before. VNDM is one, BAMM also has been selling and hasn't been on the bid at lower levels than they have been selling.
Just a thought.

I made no suggestion to walk away. Read it how you wish. I have no problem how the company releases information.

My DD was done long before you came around and while I have not seen their products, I have no need to. You can't force companies to buy anyones product regardless of how good they may or may not be. Unfortunately you appear to compare this company to one that has existed for many years. For all we know their products may be to advanced for todays potential buyers. I find nothing out of the ordinary here and frankly I am not upset as you appear to be. Everyone has put far too much emphasis on the Homeland Security deal. I like these promo deals and believe they will continue to sell this type of product because they are good at what they do. Sorry it doesn't have the bang you want but over time they will build their business IMO.
Slow growth will make me happy in this market. Little steps.
Every investment requires a continued re-evaluation of the company's goals and business. It sounds to me that the period in which you feel this company should have progressed to has come and gone. Sometimes making a decision to buy or sell isn't easy. It is my opinion that's where you are. I wish you the best in your decision or will you just continue to complain?

Now really. Nothing here has changed. If you want the most up to date information I suggest you start making phone calls to the company and their PR company. I don't expect Kelly to sit by his computer continously answering emails from shareholders. I want him to RUN THE COMPANY not baby sit whinning shareholders.
Remember, this is a start up company with little capital and some marvelous technology. Because they have this technology doesn't make them successful.
It appears to me that some of you relied on Greg to do your DD.Shame on you if that's the case. This board has been about sharing information since I have been here almost 4 years. Greg made everybody's life much easier here by finding and putting on this board a great deal of information of which will be sorely missed. He also took alot of grief for his thoughts on these issues.
Let me add that this period in time is one of the poorest, for financial returns in recent memory. Established companies with millions of in revenue are trading in the one and two dollar range. Let's keep this all in perspective.
I have a large position in this stock most at much higher prices but I continue to pick up shares when I can. I have some acquaintances that have even larger positions. While nobody is happy with the current share price, most understand how the markets work and have invested capital they can afford to lose. Again, nobody wants to lose money but things change all the time just as they did for Greg IMO.
I wish all the best,

11 Mar 2003, 07:45 AM EST
SEC to Take Up DTC Dispute
Mar 11, 2003 (financialwire.net via COMTEX) -- (FinancialWire) The "short seller wars" has reached critical mass, with almost five dozen companies now having announced they are taking legal action or contemplating legal moves to combat what has now been verified by the Securities and Exchange Commission as a worrisome pattern of market manipulation that most believe is exemplified by illegal naked short sales. Financial Times reported Monday that the SEC "is looking closely at a dispute between the US Depository Trust Company and a growing band of thinly-traded companies attempting to break out of its system of US share custody." It said, for example, that Life Energy & Technology has announced its intent to exit the DTC system. FT said "the company, which has as its chairman Albert Reynolds, the former prime minister of the Republic of Ireland, claims it was the target of an aggressive short selling campaign."
The Financial Times also said that the SEC enforcement division is hot on the trail of other market manipulators that it intends to bust, similar to the $1 million fine levied last week on Rhino Partners for its illegal hedging often associated with death spiral financing. Rhino's target was Sedona Corp. (OTCBB: SDNA). Monday, Navigator Ventures (OTCBB: NVGV) CEO Diane Perkins was also quoted as intending to withdraw from the DTC system, and InternetStudios.com, Inc. (OTCBB: ISTO) plans to change the company's name to IS Media, Inc., the first step in side-stepping a DTC ban on exiting.
By changing its name, the company would simply not have to reapply under the new system.
FT quoted companies as saying "rogue bands of 'naked short sellers' are allowed to borrow shares for short positions through loopholes in the system managed by the DTC, the clearing house that oversees the electronic book entry system, which replaced paper-based clearing and settlement decades ago."
FT said the DTC was "apparently caught off-guard by the requests. It ruled that the decision to withdraw from its system was not up to the issuer, but to the companies' shareholders. In mid-February it sent a notice to the SEC requesting clarification on its rule interpretation." This would not be a major burden for most companies, since shareholder votes on the subject to date have been fairly overwhelming in support of moving to "certificate-only" shareholdings, since they are the ultimate victims of manipulation.
Also Monday, the Securities Industry Association sent a letter to the SEC that backs the DTC's request. A comment period ends around March 20, and anyone may send the SEC an electronic comment at rule-comments@sec.gov .
In another story filed yesterday in the Dow Jones (NYSE: DJ) newswires by reporter Carol Remond, she noted that "the SEC may decide to extend that comment period to 90 days.
"It's difficult to predict when the SEC will make a decision on the matter since the comment period can be
re-triggered by any amendment to the original proposal," she noted.
The complete list of the 64 companies now associated on one side or another of the naked short seller controversy includes A.G. Edwards, Inc. (NYSE: AGE), Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corp. "Farmer Mac" (NYSE: AGM), Allied Capital (NYSE: ALD), American Motorcycle (OTC: AMCYV), American International Industries (OTCBB: AMIN), Ameri-Dream (OTCBB: AMDR), Bluebook International (OTCBB: BBIC), Blue Industries (OTCBB: BLIIV), Bentley Communications (OTCBB: BTLY), Biocurex (OTCBB: BOCX); Critical Home Care (OTCBB: CCLH), Composite Holdings (OTC: COHIA), Edgetech Services (OTCBB: EDGH);

Hey Greg,
I too will miss all you have brought to this board. You have to have tough skin to brave the elements of a public forum with any opinion you may have.
I wish you the best and look forward to where we may meet again. Good luck to you my friend.
May God Bless,
Your Friend,
Doug DeMarois / weo1998
The current markets have few buyers. Tuesday was the 6th slowest day volume wise this year. If named companies have no volume, start up high risk companies have even less interest. No one can know for sure what exactly is happening in the trading of this stock. Quarterly filings do give us a snap shot but certainly doesn't explain why more trades are occurring at the bid than the ask. Amazingly, NITE has remained strong in their position as they have been the biggest accumulator over the past few months. I can only speculate that some of the shares were shorted against the funding mecanism or some of the restricted shares became available to trade. Neither makes much sense to me so I don't put much stock in either case. Anyway, I remain long and wait for the next bit of news as this company begins to take shape.
Best to all,
weo
Trout, I doubt very much that that 15K was a sell at 16:20 or there abouts. My guess is it was a trade earlier in the day that wasn't recorded until the close. There were 4 MM's at .12 cents and suddenly it went to .14. At 9:52 10K was shown that was traded and up went the ask. I wouldn't read much into it.
weo
I don't need the company to have a conference call 4 times a year. Business will develop when it develops. Until then all we can do is be patient. Certainly each stock needs to be evaluated and re-evaluated, this stock is no exception. At the moment, there are no smoking guns I can see.
Best to you,
weo
Sorry gggrryhound, if I felt like you I would sell and move on.
I wish you the best.

First of all, VTSI hardly has its eggs in one basket. Hell, we don't even know that they have a viable product for the government until there is an order. Anyway, it is my opinion VTSI will be just fine developing their business as they are doing now. Is it fast enough for people who have held this a long time? Probably not but this isn't 1999 anymore when stocks moved up depending on how hard the wind blew.
Honestly, I don't know what all the fuss is about unless you are a day trader. I have held this stock as long as anyone and still feel good about my chances. My buy in price is much higher than the current price. I have recently added and I might add more at these levels.
This company is still a young company looking to define its business. I have faith in Kelly Jones and will continue to support him. I have no reason not to.
Finally, at .10 a share there isn't much lower to go. Who knows, maybe I will get that buy at .07 cents.
Still have the faith.
Best to all,
weo
NITE continues to be the main player on the bid. This sure looks to me like someone is accumulating. For a stock that has only 10 million in the float sure has remained somewhat tame inspite on all the apparent selling.

gggrryhound, sorry you feel that way about your investment. I view any investment, especially one with higher risk, with the potential return I might receive for my risk. Since this company is a start up company per se, I would expect a potentially large return on my investment should this company complete its business plan. OTC stocks never have and never will be judged by fundamentals. Eliminate that from your reasoning. Supply and demand is in the hands of the MM's IMO. Maybe news will move this and maybe it won't. That's the chance we take investing in these little companies.
My passion for VTSI is higher now than at any point since I invested. Do I like the share price? Obviously not. I can't control that nor can the company. I am upbeat about this latest piece of company information. What more can you ask for? Things change daily in every business I have seen. Some deals look like they may come together and just don't materialize. It's a catch 22 for Kelly. No news or updates and people get restless. He updates shareholders and people become more restless. Everyone has their own comfort level. As investors we must continue to re-evaluate our positions and determine if we should hold or stay. The stock market in general continues to be in the dumps. Hell Microsoft announces good earnings, a dividend for the first time in its history, a 2 for one stock split and the shareprice was down 5% early today. Fickle market for sure.
Anyway, I continue to support this company and its management team.
I wish the best to you as well,
weo
