Hahha, awesome. This iHub is a cut-throat place.
GreenKnight will have to be the White Knight for the MJ boards! LOL
I am relatively new to using this site. Every time I try and check my Level 2 I just get a blank white page. Am I missing something? How do I get into the guts of the stats?
Running to over a buck a share by September! RUN RUN RUN SL SPRWF
Agreed! He's shorting or wanting to get in for the first time at a cheaper price...
Chase it next week, or take your bad vibes back to the TRTC forum.
Looks like someone else is whining because they're getting bent by TRTC. Sell now and push the price down so that guys like this can get in at a low point...
Or buy large, get factory number 2, and let's head to the .2's!...
Well said. Hopefully we can buy more on a dip tomorrow and they ship QUALITY next week!
Cheers everybody!
I agree, I am also not unfamiliar to setting up those rooms ;) **hears sudden knock on door**
But I've heard it's a whole different ballpark when managing a huge facility. Hearing about that irradiated batch really made me worried as to the quality of the environment that they're growing in, but of course I know they could not have been licensed if they were considered even the slightest bit inadequate....I think? But then I'm also well aware of how terrible they are at monitoring the quality control of our food -- in slaughter houses and meat-packaging facilities -- so I'm a bit apprehensive about the Hershey Works! Maybe some nasty old kisses found their way into the weed and necessitated irradiation ;) LOL
... In all seriousness though, I think they'll have a booming facility in the next year. I know there will be a court hearing next spring on the state of the MMPR program because some people are saying it's unconstitutional to bar people from growing their own medicine, or getting it from compassionate suppliers. I am inclined to agree with that approach when considering some authentic patients, for example someone with terrible MS who relies on using upwards of 1 pound per month of medicine (an unfathomable amount for me...But necessary for them). Even at Tweed's compassionate prices of 5 dollars a gram (a very good price for someone like myself) ends up running a patient over $2,000/month. This is simply not sustainable, especially for someone living their life in a wheelchair. I understand that under the MMAR there were very compassionate options for these situations (including free medicine for those who are disabled or chronically ill) -- and so I think that some necessary restructuring needs to be done to the MMPR to accommodate these situations -- but I hope this doesn't negatively effect TWD in any way, or some of the new LPs I am interested in (Supreme Pharmaceuticals)...
Hopefully, if these licensed producers are indeed working for the betterment of the patient, they end up leading the pack on these work-arounds, supplying ludicrously inexpensive product to those that are proven to have chronic illness and also charging higher prices for those using 1-3grams/day and interested in more exotic strains, etc etc...
Sorry for another long ramble! I tend to get the verbal diarrhoea...It'd be worse if you saw me in person. LOL.
At the end of the day, I'm hoping that it works out for investors, for TWD and the more reputable up and coming LPs, but above all -- for the REAL patients -- and not just the additional 400,000 recreational users who are wearing the guise of the "patient".
Good luck to you, and GO TWEED!
Where are you getting your information, the 13 different strains, etc?
The rest of the stats you listed....Hershey factory, expansion, etc, have been known to all since the beginning. Before even considering expansion, they need to make the most of their current facility -- and produce enough product to begin to acquire more patients before even thinking about expansion. Right now they have TOO much to manage. Smaller spaces are much easier to grow in. I'm aware of smaller growers who have had larger successes for that reason. Not slamming TWD; I still believe, but am keeping a realistic perspective. After we see more numbers, then we'll see it strongly reflect share price IMO.
In the interim:
I'm staying tuned in. Get ready for no news and a drop on the open -- that's my bet -- so load up now if this guy knows what he's talking about.
GO TWEED!...
And in the meanwhile they'll hopefully be allowed to continue producing from the Okanagan facility which is already operational, I hope, seeing as that they're in the "final stages" of that license.
Looking forward to seeing the open today.
No, but I could see it trail downward...for a while. I'm long, but stranger things have happened. Their less than successful first shipment, dealings with old MMAR producers, irradiated marijuana, etc, have all surprised me, and so I wish my position was lower, that's all. I think they're still miles ahead of the other licensed producers, but since they can't even take on new patients, I think they need to get growin' more pot -- and fast -- or else we're going to see the downtrend continue for a while. Volume decreasing, people wavering and getting more interested in other LPs starting up...
Despite all that, I know we'll still see some good numbers this quarter. Thousands of angry people who haven't had legal access to their weed for a month (from transition of MMAR to MMPR) = money for TWD, even if their first product wasn't up to the standards of most.
I'm long, but wish my price was lower, that's all. Do I think they can hit 5 bucks by the year's end? Sure. I'm hopeful of that. In the interim, they can go to two bucks and I'll try and load up.
SL is a whole different situation altogether...And yes, maybe I'm hopeful with that, solely because they've acquired the Okanagan plant which is still legally producing under the MMAR -- which was (and still is) preferred by the legitimate patients -- but the MMPR opens it up for basically everybody and their mother with tennis-elbow. Larger market incoming for both TWD and SL, IMO...
Thanks for your heartfelt message...
Happy Capitalism
We're in a win-win! No news = good news ;) and good news is...well...
To be determined! Goodnight everybody...See ya in the AM.
Sounds like a fair plan to me. I'd like to see them delay a bit longer on the next shipment and maybe I can load up a few more....reduce my average...and hopefully do what you've done. My cost is averaged at 3.40 right now....Maybe too high for the next year of TWD.
Yeah I saw that message on their main page a couple days ago, but I have noticed that today (at least) their pictures have changed for high CBD/THC strains...
They likely hired a new person to manage their website, and maybe they're playing around with the aesthetics...or maybe they're doing some tweaking before offering larger varieties?? (fingers crossed...). I saw a while back in the careers section that they were offering a job for something along those lines... (web administration stuff). I could use a job....To hell with irradiating product -- just filter it through me first.
I'm OK for online trades here with RBC....
Very weird that TD isn't showing it...
Could be a technical problem... I had to call the boneheads to order today because their system wasn't accepting limit orders to the 3rd decimal for some reason.... Never know man!
I agree. Haha! Could you imagine THAT?! Wheew.... I am not unfamiliar to THOSE sort of situations. My tax return has oodles of room for capital gains..., and so I'm KEEPING THE FAITH! LOL
I like the optimism!
I'd love to see it turn up to a buck by the year's end, if that is realistic.
I'm scared of the pump and dump talk, though, and the bashers are making me want to wuss out at +50%, ha ha!
And to the other guy, yeah I'm with the TSX symbol.
I got in at .08. You're planning on dumping at 15 and back in at 10? Think it'll gap down to that, or continue on the uptrend?
My confidence has been crippled on some of my losses, so I am hesitant, ha ha, but if it could get up to a buck (like many are preaching) then that sure would help me out.
Sounds like they've got a lot to work with.
Happy hump day everybody. All best wishes,
First timer here with these micros....dipping my feet with 5million of these guys. What's the consensus say?! We're heading to a penny or what?!
Best wishes all,
Thanks for sharing.
I have heard good things about Bedrocan. It will likely be a good pick, I think, when they set up shop in 2015, especially given their existing reputation.
To get back on topic though.... GO TWEED!
LOL. This is the best reply I've seen on here all day.
Where from here?
I have a small position, but am curious where you guys think the top will be in the next month?
Or can we expect something like Satori? Increased volume followed by a drop back down to .05 for a bit?
Excuse my ignorance...if there are factors I'm missing. But they are both mining companies turning MMJ, correct?
Thanks for the feedback.
Similar situation here, Green Lantern. I'm in at 3.42. Hopefully the next batch drives this baby up!...
Been following the banter....
Well said, sir.
Hey Chief,
Thanks for the reply!
Have you looked at Supreme Pharmaceuticals by any chance? I bought a modest amount of them this morning in light of the hype and sudden high volume after doing a bit of research...but didn't want to do much more than dip my feet -- so I didn't put anything substantial into it.
I wanted to send this as a private message since I had read your previous post and wanted to get a bit more personal... but apparently they make you pay to send the private messages!...
I just wanted to say that my family's thoughts and prayers are with you, my friend! That big ugly C word has stricken many in my family, and so I felt particularly sad to read of your ailments!... When I was about 8 years old the Docs gave my mother an ultimatum of ~4 months due to some very malignant breast cancer.... But after surgery/chemotherapy she defeated it and has been clear for just about 15 years now. (Shows how much the doctors REALLY know!) Now they can't believe their eyes.
So I sincerely hope that you are WRONG when you say you might not be around to see the GREEN! But as you say, your faith is what really counts...and it holds greater weight than these mundane stock-market dabblings!...
My Dad and I are rootin' for Tweed and we'll be rooting for you too, Chief!
Interesting. Thanks for confirming!
Didn't get up early enough, but increased my position by 50% at 2.70. Hopefully bouncing back for when their next batch is ready? Anybody get in at the day's low?
Where do you guys figure the bottom is? 2 bucks?
Lookin' to cost-average my position. I think there is great potential over the next year if they get it together!...
