Thanks Mick. Sounds interesting. I have no ability to PM here.
Rare management; IMHO, these guys are gonna bring it, just takes time.
I have no pm ability here. What is NOL?
Absolutely. If they can use the big new contracts that some are talking about, to buy 6 months time with the NASDAQ, more power to them. Despite dismal debt load, ASTI has more going for it than many companies who strive to avoid delisting. However, the size of the recent 7 million loan and the use of preferred shares in that deal, shook my confidence.
Clearing things up before years end in a really bad, down, year has less impact than after the beginning of the next year, because so much tax loss selling neutralizes positive developments. And those sales begin by mid-late October. I think those who watched ASTI for a few years have a Strong feeling it should be above 25 cents at least.
Good observation. However, I don't think the two are quite comparable because of 1) the vast daily volume difference you refer to, 2) the trend of oil that ROYL could not escape as a smaller player, 3) ROYL's more conservative financing approaches. It is more closely held. As you point out, it is not the end of the world for companies to go OTC, but liquidity does become reduced often if that happens. That does not mean huge moves cannot occur, it is just much harder to ride them for the remaining die-hard investors and traders.
Good observations.
Not every broker routes to every exchange, could be one possibility.
I see .18, on the way to better prices.
That's my point: one cannot lump all OTC stocks as inherently lacking...
Adidas is on the OTC, and just quit sponsoring some major athletic competitions to protest and dissociate themselves from doping practices (unfair competition). Being on the OTC is not synonymous with a lack of integrity. Though i agree ASTI's trading pattern is beyond anyone's tolerance.
Sounds right.
Do not agree. .08 seems stable
I cannot believe ASTI never recovers to .25: just not in the time frame for impatient traders. Take 2 months out for your wives and friends and, as Johhny Depp said in Donny Franco,
"Fugget about it!!"
Then come back to 15-25 cents.
Every animal has its own Nature, unique behavior pattern. Respect it.
Listen to Swingtrader. Concur.
Yep, that pretty well sums it up.
How can it be allowed to convert more shares than the total authorized?
Okay, but still is not 1 billion
Shares outstanding 1/21/2016 shows as 400 million, not 1 billion.
Would it be appropriate to question their salaries given the dismal performance of the shares?
Well, what do you think is the upper limit share price can ever achieve again?
Well, new management must have something to bring, and I expect gradual slow improvement in the share price.
Well, do you think it can achieve 8 or 9 cents ever again -- especially in this calendar year?
I like your attitude, 5 Dog Ed.
Well, it would be good for them to sell at 5 or 6x their cost basis. They are after all predators, no? Are these low prices not engineered by their minions in the first place?
It is still surely in their interest to
Sell their shares at prices 2-3 times higher, no?
Well, unless the "toxic funders" never learned basic math, it is very much in their interest to keep their pants on while the share price recovers. And I doubt the number of shares you referenced is correct.
Not trivial, all things considered. I hope they get back to $1,having once been $200.
Well,I think it is time executives step up to the plate and Deliver.
Please elaborate on the facts that SEC investigation is not occurring!
Is that just because of a policy of persecution of MJ stocks???
Could someone please tell me, if this company is legitimate, why the H they can't get their stock back to 10 cents?
Why the big fall today then, on 200% ave. volume?
Nice. Wish them luck.
Roller coaster, this one, for sure...
