Theres unofficial talk of deals the likes of Microsoft, A.T.&T. and Intel, then a P.O. from the likes EC (still not filled yet?) Talk of orders flowing in from the worldwide telco's, no hard copy P.O.'s to-date. I guess its just ticky-tacky talk with no substance in it. Chipwa1
Oh my God, I blinked and the A.T.&T. balloon has disappeared, what happened? I transfered money from the bank to my Schwab account to get ready to buy. Darn! Chipwa1
Giving a telcom company a free chip doesn't make them a customer. Chipwa1
Yep, I can't spell, (quantity and industry) Chipwa1
My job in part, in another life at a large telcom company was to bring in chips and chip-sets to be evaluated by the R&D group. We would eventually buy a small quanitity for further study of maybe one out of dozen, or so we evaluated. Then maybe one out of ten would be designed into a product. It took us forever and when it wasn't an inductry standard, the odds were worse. Chipwa1
Batman: If this was the "FRIST" time I heard the order statement I might get excited and then they have to build something and then deliver. Then it has to work to specifications, then some has to pay. You have a long, long row to hoe. Chipwa1
Batman: The only problem with your statement is the same problem RSMI has been having for years, the technology "ISN'T" on the market. Chipwa1
474 MM shares issued, insider share ownership 1.27% ( 5.83 Million shares), operating cash flow -4.13 M, Levered free cash flow -23.40 M. Where are the funds coming from to cover the pending production run? Selling a "LOT MORE SHARES". Is it 500 MM shares, or 900 MM shares authorized? A share and a warrant will eat into the remaining shares fast. A reverse split will most likely be needed. Chipwa1
Let me make sure the tell "The Odd" the truth. Since 2000 the company tells me I'm hold earth shaking technology in my left hand along with my shares. In my right hand I have gross salaries; finders fees paid to officers in the millions of dollars for money they brought in to RSMI; deal after deal that evaporates like smoke; and talk, talk, talk that leads to nothing. When I look at reality I finds share price of the stock that has fallen from $15.00, or more to 0.034, give me a break! Chipwa1
Forgive me for what I'm about to say. I have been CEO of four companies. One was public traded company. I made sure I was on time with "ALL" my required filings. I kept my shareholders informed. Phil make me uneasy. Sorry, but that's my story. Chipwa1
A one million chip order (P.O. to supplier) to chip manufacturier, will have to be a bank transfer (most likely up front) from RSMI, not stock, thats for sure. Chipwa1
The only things that matters is "SIGNIFICANT" financial results. Soft deals, purchase orders, chip fabrication, or meetings are for nothing. Chipwa1
Phil, Phil, Phil; late yet again (NT 10-Q) I can only shake my head. Chipwa1
P.S. Shame, shame, shame. c.
I look at this stock as more of a shear fall from nose bleed heights to the bottom of nothing; near zero. Chipwa1
Could the market makers be collecting share for good news? Chipwa1
Why are all of RSMI's relationships and deals are under the blanket? If they have something, now would be the time to shout it from the roof tops. Chipwa1
If Brad made that statement, it is a whole bunch more of Brad-crap. Chipwa1
Can you say "two' range SP, Lycus of Yore. Chipwa1
Remember all this is just my opinion. The facts will be in the next Q. My wife came with me; while I spent two hours with Phil, it was her job to spy. In one case she got the impression the Receptionist came in just for my visit, in addition to her regular schedule. I was really impressed with the operations this time when compared to my last visit the year before. Chipwa1
They had bonding and cash flow problem. Phil told me the bonding problem was behind them {"resolved"}. They looked very busy, not sure what that means. I think they brought at leased one person in just for my visit. There were a lot of cars in the parking lot, a definited increase in cars from March. He hinted they were going after new business (contracts) in a big way. They should do 3.5 to 4 Million, or maybe more and the next quarter should be more. Chipwa1
When I visited the plant a couple of months ago; I told Phil I was upset with his December Letter just before the bad Q came out. I did bring up the subject of taking this private and Phil said no, for whatever thats worth. Check the number of units sitting around waiting to ship, (my count was sixty) that should tell us how many have shipped (ballpark) in the last three months. I don't think they will be building much until those units are installed and cash comes in. Chipwa1
Be honest with me; If you were a engineering, quality, accounting, or puchasing professional from a reputable company would you do business with RSMI? What would your vendor survey look like? I think not! To repair this company would be a major undaunting task. Based on the past track record what do you think the odds are of a turn around? Chipwa1
When the industry calls you an "innovator" then your an "innovator". When you call yourself an innovator, it rings a little hollow. "Breakthrough Technology"; if it is a breakthrough, it hasn't surfaced yet. Get the thing to market first, then call it a wonder technolgy when it eliminates a technical bottleneck. Words don't get it designed in a product. 7 out 200 products that come to market make a company money. RSMI has a very steep slope to climb. Stop the talking and bring the product into the light of day, to be judge. Chipwa1
Is it just me, but I've never heard of a conference being cancelled due to a non-technical person unable to attend. I think this attests to the size of this "meeting", (like three, or four people). These pills are getting to big to swallow. Chipwa1
Ken Chan. "...Quarterly Reports have been bad...." Now that is an understatment. I think the market makers are in control of this stock and this board, or any other board has very little to do with the share price. You suffer from tunnel vision,(left over from PhD). Chipwa1
Ken Chan. I will assume the glass is half full and say you are naive. We have been bombarded with superficial contacts, deals and mergers for well over seven years, with zero results. SIL is the only exception and that has been well tainted. Some individual's have lost tens of thousands of dollars. Intelligent investors would take a neutral position at best. The world is not currently all rosy for RSMI, so forgive those who take offense at you optimistic assessment. As for myself, I sit on the sidelines, money in hand waiting for validation, conformation and facts to emerge. Chipwa1
Oh no, theres a national wide transportation strike in Italy, its going to disrupt RSMI's IPSL meeting. Chipwa1
Alright I admit I don't read everything to the end. Yet, I just don't get why this meeting (IPSL) is taking place in Milan?
Why would a struggling, unknown, tiny, underfunded, little company who isn't attracting members to this IPSL organization in the U.S.A., take this meeting to all the way to Italy? This getting a little bazaar. I hope they don't disclose RSMI's history, or present it's Balance Sheet to the attendees! Chipwa1
Holy stinking batcrap Batman. Your game is smelling. Chipwa1
Holy leaping lizards, Batman! With the news your talking about RSMI should go to at least $2.00 a share. Just think, then the Company will be worth one billion dollars....We'll be rich, rich do you hear me? Chipwa1, er Robin I mean.
Some DD from Robin: From the $13 dollar range, then $0.70 range to the $0.03 range; the trend is trying to tell us something. If this stock ever was to make a run, the whole country would have time to buy in. It's silly to keep selling the hope pill over and over and over again. Chipwa1, er I mean Robin.
Really......buzz in China...WOW....In talking to the Nanjing Radio Factory.....they didn't get the word. Chipwa1
What if: Run this down to .01; for less than $5,000,000.00 someone could take this private, getting around SOX'S and run this (cash cow, longs opinion) with out any disclosure. Chipwa1
what makes anyone think RSMI can deliver? The future is based on the past. Chipwa1
Wishing this thing up itn't going to warm the hearts of the market makers to let this ride upward. Phil needs to get the filing done on time and sales/revenue needs to be strong. Chipwa1
The long term strategic plan seems to be; talking and continued sustained delution until; if and when there is a solution. Based on Brad's October 31, 2007 comments. Climbing the standards approval ladder is a formidable task with no assurance of success. Chipwa1
RSMI..the new leader in DSL....with zero sales...only revenue sale of stock.... Isn't this pure delusional? Persisent belief in something false...typical of some mental disorder?....Chipwa1
Oh yes ML. 40+ years ago, my ML broker told me to buy Erie Lackawana Railroad, he said I would make a bundle in weeks. I took a big position on his advice. Two days later ELRR went into BK'y. It was by far the biggest loss I ever suffered in the market. I've never taken a brokers advice again and have had only had a few minor losses since. Chipwa1
GrooveMaster! I could be right there beside you, making it a group of eleven, except for one thing; the release of the news is repeatedly the end of the story! History is your best guide, until proven wrong. Chipwa1
Its not the fires, its not anything but lack of attention and a lack of a good Q that keeps the stock price at 0.009. Chipwa1
