On the week, Didi is beating Andujar 42-41 in points. Both have great weeks!
Looks like Andujar is flat out making it impossible to take him out of the lineup!
So, where will Torres play? Would assume now that Adujar is raking he goes to 2B, but am a bit worried. Thought I had a stud 3B anchored in!
LOL! Better moment, 2019 Wild Card Game, Kopech vs. Sale, Kopech pitches gem and Basabe and Moncada mash it up for the White Sox on way to a victory!
LOL! I would love that, but really do not think we want our future Ace to get his first MLB start against that lineup!!!
Soler is showing signs of finally getting it at the major league level.
June 15th! Have to add the week of hedge time just to be sure.
White Sox Prospect Michael Kopech has 9K's through four innings tonight! Not going to be able to keep him down too much longer.
Sure looks like he is coming around!
I do like that Devers is finally getting hot! Had a slow start, but the last few days showing why he is there.
42,78,22 Please
Well, Rutherford had another huge game last night.

As a side note, Basabe, the throw in on the Sale trade that brought is Kopench and Moncada, is starting to break out at age 22! Had a pedestrian year last year until the very end where he seemed to finally be clicking and has been on a tear this year! I am happy Sale is doing so well for the Red Sox and even happier at what we go back for him!
Yes, Harvey, sorry!
With Matz down, does that make Wheeler's spot his to lose? Until the Matz revelation, it was assumed Wheeler would lose his spot to Vargas.
Sure, but he is nowhere near the hitter Andujar can be. Plus, you do not want him around when Torres comes up as that could confuse people!!! :>
I just hope they do not try to push him for power too soon! That will come! His swing was an outright mess when he got here last year, so really nice to see him getting off to this kind of start. Think one of their games is set to be televised here in Chicago next weekend! Kind of cool, as they will be showing some games from all levels this year to let the fans see what is coming. Last year was just AAA.
I am not going to be one of those that gets all excited about Machado, at least not yet. What I do know, Jerry Reinsdorf has always been willing to overspend to get the right player here and now with the tremendous base of top tier prospects, if he could add a player of Machado's caliber and age on a long term contract, it would be downright HUGE!
There are many saying that Hahn signed Wellington Castillo to a two year contract in order to attract his best friend Machado next year, but unless he has some kind of guarantee on that, Castillo, if he is hitting like he is capable of doing at Trade Deadline time could possibly bring in a MONSTER HAUL of prospects from a contender, as there are always a couple of contenders that sorely need a Catcher with power who can also be a tremendous game caller!
I really think the Yankees would be a lot better off with Andujar and Torres playing 3B and 2B respectively. Bird still may finally make it at 1B, but cannot depend on him until you know if that foot is going to hold up. If not, Lind may be a good option, but also wondering if they had ever given Frazier any time at 1B in the minors? He is the right size and would keep him away from running into walls and getting another concussion this year!!!
Has your manager been following Crazy Uncle Joe's school of stopping young player's hot streaks???? Andujar is in the middle of a breakout, you just had yesterday off and now sitting him again? Only Uncle Joe's miserable mishandling of his kids can be compared here!
Blake Rutherford still is not hitting for power, but it appears the White Sox have his swing fixed and he is raking! Hitting over .350 with 7 2B's, giving him a Slugging Pct of over .500. Sure would like to see that power, but the kid is only 20. Just want to see him keep his current swing and gain the confidence needed to start moving up through the system. The Power will come down the road, as tinkering with his swing as he is finally breaking out with his contact could be a bad thing!
Yep! He was definitely off tonight, but if the ump had not been squeezing him, he may have righted the ship.
Ohtani not looks so hot tonight, but at the same time, he sure as heck is getting the squeeze put on.
It will improve soon!
Telling you, he has been starting to click and may never look back. Torres is the 2B once his back is healthy and if Yanks smart, after Super 2.
He is really stating to find his stroke. Also saw a nice defensive play of his on MLB. Looking forward to watching Ohtani shortly.
Thanks to KB, I did not get killed as badly as I was expecting!
Looks like T. Walker has a blown UCL???
With him, as long as the rest of the lineup is clicking, you almost want them to take their time and let him get plenty of AAA Work. Bring him up too quickly and he may press.
Eventually Andujar and Torres should be part of a monster Yankees IF together.
Poor team I am facing this week is feeling my team's wrath of not being able to play over the weekend!
I would say they just need to tweak launch angle, but since he is making really hard contact right now, let him be and the power will come. Have not seen a lot of him playing 3B, but sure looks like he has one heck of a rocket of an arm.
Nimmo raking again! When are they going to give him an every day role?????
Andujar really looks like he is coming around! Need a full week like this, so he can solidify the job and force Torres to 2B and Drury to utility should he get healthy.
Yes, as soon as Cubs were postponed, made switch to Andujar. NO way do I trust Crazy Uncle Joe to play Happ more than three games now this week. He is on a mission to ruin that kid!
Thanks! Still scary having so many players from one team with the weather so far this year! I set an all time league record last week for player games missed due to weather.
Well, not sure how much longer I have to make switches, as usually there is a game by around now on Mondays and Patriot's Day game cancelled. Went to Andujar for now. If it starts looking like a rainout, I may go back to Martinez, as he is getting a day off today. Worried they may want to give him a few though.
I am hearing a rainout in NY is highly probable tonight?
Fair enough, but that weather is travelling East and if I insert Andujar with potential weather for NY this week, I am at big risk with four position players and Chapman.
Argh! Did not know what to do this week. Jose Martinez has multiple issues, so leaving him in the lineup is too risky. Andujar is a potential question mark and not sure I want four Yankees in my lineup. So, looks like I might be forced to insert Joe Maddon's destruction project in Ian Happ as that fool seems to be doing everything he can to ruin the kid's confidence.
I do not see the race going on today. NO way they get any grip today.
