The Florida legislation some were referring to consists of this. So basically it doesn't affect medical dispensaries like TCNNF.
The legislation would dramatically reduce the amount of THC—the compound in the plant associated with getting you high—allowed in retail hemp-derived products. Hemp and marijuana come from the same species of plant, but hemp can’t contain more than 0.3 percent THC—the main psychoactive ingredient that provides the “high” when ingesting cannabis, according to the 2018 U.S. Farm Bill.
More than 20 states have enacted proposed hemp regulations over the past two years as a reaction to the spread and popularity of a legal product known as Delta-8, which has filled the shelves of convenience and smoke shops throughout the state.
Nice run up yesterday and today. I wonder if congress and senate is loading up on shares and somethings going to happen soon.
There is a difference in Dispensary medical cannabis and hemp CBD, which is what the legislation posted in that article references. So basically the FL legislation is concerning the hemp CBD percentage of THC.
I agree with you on the republicans in FL, but that information in the article is really in my opinion dealing with CBD products not medical dispensaries. So basically the only place to get higher THC will be TCNNF or other licensed dispensaries which will force more people to TCNNF.

Glad TCNNF has dispensaries in some of these locations.

I think what you are reporting here is that they want to clamp down on CBD products that are sold at various places not by dispensaries like TCNNF. This would be a positive for TCNNF because that would force people to go to a licensed dispensary rather than a grocery store for CBD.
While Schumer hasn't really done much to put forth any marijuana law changes I thought I'd post this because it is news worthy. https://www.marijuanamoment.net/schumer-to-speak-at-4-20-marijuana-policy-forum-inside-the-u-s-capitol-alongside-other-lawmakers/
With the potential for the stock to move to the second tier trading platform of the CSE, from what I've read, there could be a much higher trading volume. I guess we'll find out in the next couple of months what that means.
If you're interested in the move by the CSE to have some larger cannabis companies move to the second tier here is an interview. https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/canadian-securities-exchange-plans-new-tier-with-stricter-listing-rules-opens-door-to-etfs-1.1693062

With the cse possibly elevating TCNNF to the higher tier trading we may see more trading activity. I can’t see how it will hurt.
Kentucky just made medical marijuana legal. Now if the state's Senator McConnell would get with the majority of his constituents and pass something on a national level, it would be helpful.
Interesting info. The Canadian Securities Exchange unveiled plans Thursday to launch a senior tier for the largest issuers listed on its platform. Roughly 100 CSE-listed companies will be gradually transferred to the new tier starting in May, providing them with access to a lower cost of capital and a wider investor base while positioning the CSE itself to compete more directly with the TMX Group-owned Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX).
Since launching in 2004, “we have grown from our startup roots,” CSE chief executive Richard Carleton said in an interview. “This is very much a case of us wanting to grow alongside our largest and most successful issuers.”
The senior tier will be “very heavily dominated” by cannabis companies with operations in the United States; such firms are listed on the CSE in part because TSX rules prevent any of its issuers from being in violation of U.S. federal law.
No news and stock price is lagging. There has been no movement in Senate or House. On another topic Kentucky just approved medical marijunana today. So put another state on the list of those approving medical marijuana.
Maryland’s Senate president says the body will vote next week on a bill to create regulations for an adult-use marijuana market, getting the state prepared for a voter-approved legalization law that takes effect this summer.
Glad TCNNF has some dispensaries there.

Looks like Rivers bought more last week at 6.07 or 6.08. Maybe she is averaging down the 14's she bought recently. In any event, I haven't seen any insiders sell so far. I take that as a positive sign.
Take it for what it's worth.
