I use to think that way too.

I have two properties for sale that have been reduced right next to campus that I can't get rid of. Most have been sitting on the market over a year now.

I hate to rent them out again but may have no choice :(

On a good note, property values haven't depreciated around here much and i bought them many years ago for a lot less.

just no one is buying now. I wonder if colleges are being affected as well (kids are going to school in state/staying home with parents). At one time it was cheaper to buy the condo for them to attend college for four years than to rent or pay for a dorm.

I don't think MD made you take a test every renewal. A friend in TX said he renews his on line every 12 yrs and no test!

I brush Ziva every day and haven't seen any on her as of yet but I use that stuff the vet charges an arm and leg for and I also have the tic spray that I put a little on her brush first.

She loves the be brushed but has turned into a major "leaner" and if I'm not wearing good tennis shoes, have fallen backwards!

I have a large bruise on my left foot because I was brushing her and she saw a squirrel and ran right over my foot!

My hubby isn't high tech either

I got him an ipad last year and he said it's the first gift I've ever bought him that he's gotten a lot of use out of. He's on it every night reading.

Now my father who's the type that gets up 5 am every morning to go to 7-11 to get a coffee and newspaper has one as well and can't believe you can get free news on there after he's been buying a newspaper every single day for many years.

Apple even makes reading books almost like having the damned book with the way the ibooks actually have pages with corners that bend and freaking book markers! Amazing. I just wish my grandfather was still a live to see this hooligan pew-eee (what he called everything he didn't understand).
