So you don't know.
Well you didn't answer my question. Why didn't they vote their shares. It's seems obvious by the tally they didn't vote. They probably had many or maybe still do. Did the court prevent it? Can anyone answer?
Well Phil,
I have owned shares since the day the news release came out that Digital Focus (1999 I think)would be working with TMMI to develop the codec. What has transpired recently seems like a rerun of 10 years ago. People posting that a product would be available soon, just like 10 years ago. lawsuits just like 10 years ago. Nothing ever seems to happen.
One question I have. When the old directors voted out, there were only a few shares voting against the new directors.
Were Fernandez and Shields not permitted to vote their shares because they probably held many?
Shareholders were asked to vote for Gerard Cavanaugh and Michael Kozole CPA as Directors to replace Michael Fernandez and Dan Shields as Directors of the Company. A total of 113,086,663 shares out of the Company's 202,475,200 issued and outstanding shares as of the record date (55.85%) were voted and the results are shown in the table below:
Proposition For Against Abstain Total
Gerard Cavanaugh as Director 109,732,458 3,093,151 315,054 113,086,663
Michael Kozole CPA as Director 109,689,321 3,093,788 303,554 113,086,663
The percentage of shares voting that are necessary for a quorum for a shareholder meeting is 50.1% of the issued and outstanding shares, which in the case of TMM, Inc. in terms of actual shares voting needed for a quorum was 101,440,075 shares. The TMM, Inc. shareholder meeting had the necessary quorum and the voting shareholders voted overwhelmingly (97.03% - For versus 2.7% - Against) to replace Michael Fernandez and Daniel Shields with Gerard Cavanaugh and Michael Kozole as Directors of the Company.
How do you know big contracts are just around the corner? and how do you know they are big? Do they have a commercially viable product yet? Why do all posts have to be positive rah rah type posts? All opinions should be welcome here or do you want this to be just a pumping site?
Everyone here should be entitled to express their opinions, even yours unless you are an insider then yours might not be opinions.
Some MM's are closed after hours and don't post their bid/ask. No big deal.
Well Dimension was granted a patent on Jan 8. Don't like where this is going. Brings back memories.

Bill,
Looking down over the list of people that received shares in 2012, it looks like the total listed there is about 54,000,000.
That was the Nov 9 disclosure statement.
About 26,000,000 in 2010 and 2011.
I just used a calculator not sure if 100% correct.
The lady holding what looks like a phone. Kinda blue picture and the one with the man and woman in it. Kinda orange. The duck picture I think I remember being somewhere but am not certain. I thought perhaps it was on Leamsteam Media website when it was up, but am not 100% certain.
Leansteam media mentioned TMMI and IPL as partners or something similar to that on Leanstream website but that site is gone and IPL now has http://www.sigalamedia.com/. So I don't think any one them are working together anymore. You can check my posts here of several years ago about that.
I really do hope that TMMI releases a finished product, but when I saw that other guy resurface, to be honest i got a little uneasy about it.
Perhaps we will find out more this summer.
Take care
Stew,
Bill and I were in this for many years and had our hopes of making a good return squashed. Even though I didn't do a private placement, I still had money invested as I do now. We had our hopes up as many do now, and I again am hopeful of a product but why did the other website turn up now as it did many years ago under another name? When I can view a video that was compressed using Trudef and see that finished product, I will breathe easier. Some of the clips on the website are the same ones that were on years ago.
No I am not, they seem sincere. I hope I am concerned for no reason. I even met and talked to the new TMMI attorney in Delaware in 2010 before the voting took place. Yes I am a current shareholder and hope for a final product as much as you guys do. But I was waiting for a final product 10 years ago.
It is what it is, positive vibes will do nothing.
Only thing that matters is if they have a marketable product.
Everyone has a right to post their thoughts and opinions. Some of you guys just want your opinions posted and resort to name calling if someone posts something you don't agree with. You want to turn this into a pumper board. I have been a shareholder since 99 and whats happening now seems like a rerun of 10-12 years ago. I will be more at ease if or when they actually release a commercially viable product.
Hope you're right but it sounds like a fight over who owns what and that happened many moons ago.
Wonder how this will affect anything?
ACQUISITION OF DIGITAL FOCUS, INC
On June 8, 2012 TMM, Inc completed the acquisition of the
outstanding shares of Digital Focus, Inc. a California
corporation. Digital Focus, Inc.’s sole asset is an
exclusive license agreement to the PVI/SGI source code from
Iterated Systems, Inc.
$12,502 of the Tax Expense reflected on the Income Statement
was paid on behalf of Digital Focus, Inc. These taxes were
franchise taxes paid to re-instate Digital Focus, Inc into
good standing with the State of California
This sounds like a repeat of 10 years ago.
Yeah, I know what they are. We'll see if compressionist answers my 2 questions. Curious to see if he is a shareholder. I've held shares for about 13 years.
yeah that's my question and I read the post. Everything on the website are compressed clips. Encoding and decoding need to be in real time or near to it to make it viable. I don't see anything where this is possible yet and they are working toward that goal. BTW I have been a shareholder since '99.
So do you think Trudef will work good enough to have a marketable product and have you invested? Thanks in advance
Well, they are reporting, which is good.
I've been watching for additional filings. Maybe we'll see something soon.
Only about 19.3 mil O/S according to last filing.
ACRI starting to get a few trades
A little trading starting, up-ticking a little.
probably should be at this one,
http://www.clocate.com/conference/2013-SMPTE-Annual-Technical-Conference-and-Exhibition/28738/
That news should have been released over news wires before market opened. Anybody see it? I didn't.
Well you never know with the right news it could pop out of sight.
Just look what happened to Medbox .03 to 215.00 in less than a year and still trading around 60.
Of course they have a lot less shares out, but when a stock gets in demand and everyone wants to own a piece of it, it can go crazy.
Remember when this one went to 2.87 on speculation. MHO
Actually the letter and filings are to get back to "current" status from "limited information" status they are now in.
From the blog,
Getting the decoder to work in real time will be an exciting milestone and clearly the goal that proves that TRUDEF™ is at long last commercially operational.
Once out of the lab, TRUDEF™ is expected to support 16-bit color per channel. Although the codec’s viability has been limited to a working model, lab resources will continue to be focused on achieving real-time compression.
Not sure if they can decode in real time, but they are still working on encoding in real time. Encoding is the slower of the two processes.
TMMI’s development team has done the hard work in its lab proving that the technology works. They’ve made great progress researching and updating the codec from DOS, enabling the company to modernize the technology and make private demonstrations possible to move the product from the lab phase through an agile development process to address real-time encoding issues and on to beta tests and its goal of commercialization.
If this technology works, it could become the standard and the sky would be the limit.
Some huge company is going to want this technology.
