Cool! And my paint is drying too! But my pot isn't boiling, however hard that I stare at it... :)
RE: I see retirement here...
Ah. The classic statement of the pumping bagholder... Say it with pride.
Trade smart. Don't ever assume that any given penny will let you retire. Greed kills. Play the trends, not the emotions. Investor hopes are the fuel for the penny rockets, but remember that these are subpenny stocks --- they more frequently crash and burn than soar into the penny and dollar range.
The only people who hold pennies for over a year are usually those who are stuck in sleeping pennies who are waiting for volume and pps to pick up again. Almost everybody else is in it for the short-term gains, be it a few days or a few months.
Patience in pennies seems to be the patience to WAIT to buy at the right time, rather than the patience to sell. Entry point determines how comfortable you are with selling... Which is why the volume in IPRE has diminished. The initial hype run is fading. We'll have to wait for some more substantial news that directly addresses future profits.
If SIIR does well at the upcoming film festivals and the new films are progessing well without cost overruns, this stock will fly. Until then, the smart momo money has moved on...
I hate to say it but I kind of have to agree with Cammi. Busy boards are usually indicative of lots of bagholders who bought at the high tide line just before a pullback to low tide. While waiting for the PPS to come back up to re-float their boats, the pumpers spam the same PR's over and over and over again.
The amount of irrelevant chatter on this board is starting to rival the BKMP board. I'm in both BKMP and IPRE. I feel a lot more confident about IPRE however. Barring major management screw ups, IPRE's pps in two months is definitely going to be at least a five bagger from here.
I can't say the same about BKMP... massive dilution is a problem there, and BKMP consists of one single employee with a not so stellar reputation. MMA is going to rock out over the next year or so --- hopefully BKMP will get some decent carriage in the US and avoid a QBID style disaster.
So I feel stuck in BKMP but happy to be in IPRE. BKMP linkage to IPRE is EXTREMELY tenuous. Don't draw parallels or connections between the two...
FYI, look at the historical chart for a sense of how much time is required to move a movie stock.
The last major run up from .0020 to .17 and back down to .0020 took four months. Head and shoulders profile...
We're on the left shoulder... expect it to take several weeks at least to see the start of the neck.
IPRE holding up well. I'm afraid that this is going to trade sideways with gradually diminishing volume until the next major PR. Cannes is a two week festival... so the time window until the next substantial chunk of news is anybody's guess.
My forecast for IPRE's pps is that it will hold @ around forties until the final bell today. Next week, it may drift down into the mid to upper thirties if there is not a PR. Regardless the next major piece of good news will kick IPRE past the .0050 wall that we were bumping against for several days. Next stop will be the .0070 resistance wall that was set during the 12 days or so when IPRE was on it's way down after the last major run-up on ATIN.
All my opinion, obviously.
Fall 2007 defined: When the ask hits .0002007
Ranzy -- don't be mad because you feel misled. You weren't. Its all there in black and white. Read the PR's carefully. Do your DD diligently.
We're at the bottom of the channel. Bunch of us have loaded up already. Waiting on news for upward movement. News required:
A) Clarification of share structure
B) U.S. carriage deal
C) Revenues from recent acquisitions and deals
BKMP has one employee. Sandy Winick does everything. He's bankrolling TFN. In essence, we the stockholders are paying his salary while he tries to fund Garrow's expansions plans.
BKMP is spinning in the same b/a range because of dilution. How much dilution? We're arguing about that constantly... Winick is at least halfway through a buyback of a billion shares, but the OS grew by 9 billion in the last quarter... :(
Not a screw-up really. They were still shooting the film when the submission deadline passed. And getting a screening is NOT an automatic process. Just getting your film screened is a big deal since they only pick so many films out tons of applicants.
My guess is that they take their promo materials and screener and start laying the groundwork for distribution. See who is interested, etc. Any real deals won't be finalized until after they screen it, obviously. The company did amazing last year at Cannes with ATIN, so they should have a bit of a rep to use this time around.
SIIR is not being screened. It is being showcased. PR and kibitzing behind the scenes.
"All That I Need" was already screened last year at the Cannes film festival back when IPRE was called Soleil Films (old ticker symbol was SFLM). SFLM became IPRE on July 27, 2005. "All That I Need" was released in theaters last December and is now on DVD.

Maybe Torchlight Entertainment (I think they're based out of Las Vegas) will do promotion for the film during this year's film festival. Who knows?
Yup. And you can always go back and check post #38040 on this board for the original source of Rasica's posts about the restricted nature of the CD conversions.
However, the author, convers, has not posted anything else on iHub since that date which kind of creeps me out. That's probably why Rasica aways strips that post number out of his reposts.
Only took 25 minutes and 8 seconds for that prediction to come true. If only my stock picks were as accurate and timely.
SIMCC (sitting in my chair chuckling)
... wait, had to come back and edit this post, because oh my god, he just posted that same unconfirmed message again!
ROTFLMAO
Time to grab some beer and chow. G'night all. Let's wake up tomorrow to a PR. Cross those fingers and toes...
OT: Sometimes Scottrade T&M freezes
I use Scottrade's free RT java tools too. I find that the data feed sometimes stalls out and fails to update the time and sales listings.
This usually happens when I'm tracking stocks with very high volumes. I think the active feed gets overwhelmed and drops some data. Also, launching other web applications that use Sun Java also seem to slow down or otherwise mess with the data feed.
The only way to fix that is to close the RT feed and open it again. I sometmes have to close Java as well. Of course, you lose the streamed listings so verifying the last trade after marke close is a lost cause... :(
Also, if you run off Windows XP, sometimes the Windows updater or ant-virus utility will fire off in the background and start sucking up your bandwidth to download system updates.
I've also been checking out AlphaTrade's web site. I may just have to fork out their monthly charges (cheaper than most of their competitors) and call it a cost of doing business. Not being able to see the L2 is driving me buggy, especially with the pinks and OTC's...
Rasica -- stop spamming the same posting from Sandy. And a message board is for asking questions, not just rabid pumping while slamming anybody who raises the slightest question or doubt. It's a dialogue not a chest puffing competition.
You don't "own" this message board, you own the stock. And I don't see your name listed as a moderator.
I and many others would like to see the share structure further clarified, and to actually see a statement from Sandy (not you) in a Reuter's PR feed that the CD shares are (a) restricted and (b) will not be a factor until Fall of 2007.
We all know that MMA is a huge and growing phenomenon. The question that remains is what TFN's slice of the pie will be; and more importantly, what slice BKMP shareholders will be able to call their own.
It's been a rough day on the market. Please do us all a favor and stop calling every poster with a valid question a rumor-mongering basher -- that is the best way to dry up interest in this stock.
Hope we see a PR this week from Sandy.
BTW, I expect to see a reply from you within a few minutes calling me an idiotic basher. I'd love to be disappointed.
Nice timing on your exit and re-entry!
Flipped out at .0049 earlier today. Will wait and watch for a good re-entry point. IPRE is going to rock and roll this year, but not enough momo or significant developments yet to move this into pennyland... yet. By the end of the summer, IPRE will be the THE penny to hold, but I'll wait to see what happens with the Cannes showcases and the new movie castings.
GLTA and go IPRE!
In EGSR @ .17 -- this is going to be a great ride. Panic sell-off was way overdone.
OT: Good day to be playing pennies. The Dow is taking nosedive on the higher than expected CPI numbers. Down 117 as I type.
Pennies are so risky anyway that the sector hits seem to have weaker ripples or no effect at all.
Thanks for the screenshot, Vulcan!
Can somebody post an L2 snapshot? Wondering what the stack looks like. Trying to figure out why only 10 million traded at opening bell and nada since then.
Bellwether report -- is NOT really news. I've seen postings from Bellwether on every stock that I track this morning.
They just cut and paste the most recent real PR into their template and call it research. Yeah, buy DD instead of doing it yourself. Bellwether postings just drive traffic to their web site. Ignore...
Why do you think IPRE will have a huge PR at opening bell? Cannes film festival starts today, yes, but they already told us that their team was flying over there. And they're not screening any films, just showcasing them. I don't see any revenue adds being announced this early. Maybe after the festival, but right now, IPRE is riding on hype and rumor. Don't get me wrong, cause I bought shares in IPRE last Friday morning, but sheesh. The run past a penny will take multiple days --- huge resistance at .007 to deal with...
Pretty effective shake today. Looks like a lot of the short-term momo players who jumped in yesterday jumped out today.
36 trading days since the last SPZI news release... tumbleweeds blowing through the dry streets... buzzards starving and soaring away in search of food... daily trading charts that resemble fragmented childhood etch-a-sketch patterns rather than actual curves... beached whales high and dry on the shores of a sandy cove...
Oh great gods of investor relations, why hast thou forsaken us!
OK. I'm fine now. Just had to get that out of my system. Back to our regularly scheduled program.

My spine crawls whenever anybody references BKMP and QBID in the same sentence... All I can think about are the folks who lost their shirts and perspective while chasing that stock down into the toilet. Can we all agree to refer to QBID henceforth as:
"The stock that shall not be named"
Let's not bring in the bad mojo and hex ourselves. ;)
Well, B/A back at 2x3. Looks like most people took the quarterly numbers with the 12 billion OS number in stride. I was a bit worried earlier this morning that this would dump down to 1x2 and stay there.
Also sounds like some folks are having problems buying at the bid. With almost no downside, it's mighty hard for the MM's to shake the tree. So I'm guessing that most who have bought BKMP in this calendar year are still hanging onto most of their shares and waiting for news that will start the long drive upwards.
IPRE currently burning in .005 -- the 50 DMA.
I doubt we'll hit a penny by COB tomorrow. Though I hope we close today over .006 and gap up overnight so that we have a head start on breaking down the resistance around .007. I see a penny on Thursday and penny plus on Friday.
I'm so tempted to dump my BKMP shares too... I want to increase my position in IPRE. But I'm going to hold out... Don't want to take the short-term loss. BKMP will have it's day at some point later this year.
Cracked the half penny mark. And with over 400 million in volume and over two hours remaining before the closing bell, I think we'll also crack the half billion volume mark.
Looking at the historical daily chart, it seems that the greatest resistance between .0045 and a penny will be around .007 -- PPS sat between .006 and .008 for about 2 weeks when it was on its way down.
psxdns -- you say this with a seven day old account?
LOL. Only 2 posts on i-hub. First is bad info. Second is an "I'm taking my ball and going home now" comment. Making friends...
You posted the PR from 9:30 AM EST, not 12:30 PM... Or is there a new one that I'm no aware of?
.0043 x .0044
I say HOD will be .005...
LOL. Nice...
Looking to be a half billion volume day...
Fight movies (even the bad ones) usually do well on DVD. Look at all of the bad movies that Steven Segal has put out over the years... :)
I always wonder if the MM's do "fat finger" trades like this on purpose to (a) hose RT charting for us public investors; and (b) introduce artificial data into certain technical analysis indicators.
If I was a money-bags MM, I would...
